"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for this to happen! Please help me!" Minato cries out. Some of the others try to reach out to them, but all of them are too late. The chains come out and drag Minato. And that is the last time any of them would be able to say anything to the poor traveler.

PLAYTIME OVER

MINATO HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY

TIME FOR PUNISHMENT!

Minato is dropped in the middle of what looks like to be a city. There are Monokumas walking all around them, not paying attention to the person in the middle of the road as they do their daily shopping for despair. At first, Minato is too panicked to pay attention, but then a car zooms past them. They were only a few feet away from being run over alive. The traveler tries to make it to the sidewalk, but there is an invisible wall keeping them from safety.

Another car zooms by. And then another. None of them have any regard for safety. When another one zooms by, the driver Monokuma is texting while he runs into another car. The debris from the accident goes flying, and Minato's head is almost chopped clean off by the flying broken glass.

GET OUT

ULTIMATE TRAVELER MINATO UEDA'S EXECUTION

Minato runs down the road, with them seeing that the road stops soon and there's a forest on the other side. They nearly avoid all the zooming cars some more, with more and more of them crashing into each other. With one nasty crash, more glass goes flying, and a large shard goes into directly in Minato's leg. However, this only slows Minato down slightly, as the traveler is fueled by pure adrenaline at this point. They are so close to the forest. Almost away from the city death trap.

Right before Minato is able to escape, all of the Monokumas actually stop and stare at them. Minato is at first taken off guard at this change to silence. There are no more cars, but Minato knows executions should still not be considered safe. They may be naive but not stupid. All of the Monokumas in cars get out of them, with some of them being severely damaged. Once every robot gets out, they stop and point at Minato and start laughing. Thinking that is weird, Minato continues their way into the forest.

Inside the forest, there is seemingly nothing but trees. With their adrenaline calming down, Minato takes a second that maybe Monokuma decided to spare them. After all, it was just an accident! They didn't mean to kill anybody! They forgot for a second that innocence means nothing in this game, proven by the unfair death of Cassius.

Suddenly, there's a doll of Akita in the forest, with her eyes being dead but her arm reached out to Minato. Minato decides to grab Akita's hand, their mind starting to be affected by the pain and blood loss of their wound. However, this is a trap. Of course! When Minato does this, they actually pass out for a moment. Monokuma pops out of nowhere and evilly laughs.

When Minato wakes up, they find themselves in a plain room with a television on and strapped onto a chair. On the television is the death of Akita being played over and over again. Minato is too focused on Akita's death to realize that the walls are closing in on them. They see their love get murdered by Kazuhiko over and over and over and over...The last moment that Akita was able to smile.

It is too late to do anything when Minato finally realizes the situation that they're in. The walls are so close that they are almost to the point of breaking the television. Minato tries to get out of their chair. But, even if they were able to get free, there would be no hope since there are no walls in this room. Such is the unfair nature of the Neo World Program.

Minato attempts to use the skills Akita taught them for these types of situations, yet none of them work. They are too weak because of all of the blood loss. When they realize this, the television gets destroyed and they can start to feel the walls threatening to crush their body. Maybe it'll be better if they just gave up. With less fighting, it'll be easier to finally see Akita again. Both of them victims of the tragedy of the Killing Game, their lives only viewed as entertainment. In what they assumed would be their last moments alive, Minato wished they could be able to say goodbye to all of their friends and family.

Right before Minato gets crushed, however, the walls stop. The top of the room opens up and a room is thrown inside. With their hopes up that their friends were somehow able to rescue them, Minato grabs onto the rope. They stopped the trials so many times before, so they can do it here! It would be like what they did with Namita, and maybe this time all of them can be able to escape!

Though Monokuma is the one that Minato eventually finds. Monokuma smiles. The Akita doll once again comes out. Before Minato could do anything, however, the doll yanks their collar off. Minato drops to the ground, in even more pain than before as their body slowly succumbs to the poison now injected in their veins.

"I worked too hard on that plot point! There's no way I wasn't going to use it!" Monokuma laughs as Minato slowly dyes. To add salt to the wound, Monokuma weakly kicks Minato's stomach. Minato reaches out to Akita, but she doesn't reach back. Monokuma and the Akita doll then leave the forest together.

When Minato finally succumbs to the poison, they are all alone. All of the survivors try to make it in time, but they are too late. There is no rewriting the tragic tale of Minato Ueda.
