Darkness. That's all he saw before feeling himself drown. Katsuki's eye opened and he saw that he submerged in cold water. As he swam up to breathe he suddenly felt something grab him and drag him upwards. Once his vision became clear, he saw that he was now on some boat, and in front of him Shigaraki. He immediately tried to blast him away but all he managed to do was make a couple of sparks.

"Tch, Tch, Tch. Now, now Blast, did you think I would be stupid enough to meet you without taking precautions? Of course not! So how about you relax and we can chat? Sound good?" said Shigaraki as he sat on the floor waiting for Katsuki to do the same.

Katsuki complied as there is not much else he can do now, he was completed submerged in chilling water, not lightly dowsed but submerged. He can't sweat now, so he is essentially Quirkless

"So.. how've you been? said the older, breaking the ice.

"Fine.. how about you? Katsuki replied in a calm but stern tone.

"As you can see, I have been doing great! See that bird-creature there? That's my Nomu. He is here to kill All Might! Isn't that great!"

"That thing is meant to fight against All Might? Are you fucking kidding me? What chance does it have if Sensei fucking couldn't?

"Contrary to what you may think, All Might didn't get out of that battle unscathed. Sensei blew a hole in his stomach. That kinda thing certainly makes someone weaker, doesn't it Blast?"

Katsuki didn't reply. So Shigarki continued "You know, Sensei told me to thank you, because of you he has been able to help the doctor more now."

Katsuki again didn't say anything as Shigarki finally asked "How's the quirk of yours?"

"It's fine, my body is still adjusting," said in a hurried tone.

"Since when did you become like this huh? You talked a lot of shit when someone fucked up in the squad. But now, I never see you online. "

"Been busy"

"Too busy for the people who gave you everything? How rude?"

"That's not what I mea-"

"Oh! Looks like your teacher's almost through the cannon fodder. Time for me to go now." interrupted Shigaraki as he got and stretched before a portal opened in front of him. "Oh, one more thing. Get him NPCs"

He could realize what that meant the boat was suddenly cut through by a hand seemingly made out of water. It caused him to fall into the water again and this time he was restrained by a bunch of villains. He looked up in shock and terror at Shigaraki.

"Remember, just keep him restrained. Don't hurt him. He's going to be important later down in the game" Shigaraki said as he stepped into the portal.

Katsuki tried to break free but was unable to. He was in the worst possible environment for him. He was completely Quirkless helpless.

"What the hell? He told us we would get to kill someone. Not babysit a 15-year-old! " spoke one of the villains

"Just do what as he said. I don't want to get on his bad side. Especially if that monstrosity can really go up against All Might."

As the villains continue their chat, Katsuki tries to think of a way to get the grip. He is at a major disadvantage now, he can't use his quirk, and all of these fuckers are aquatic. 'Come on think! What would All Might do? What would a hero do? What would... Deku do?'

Darkness and then... wind pushing him in the face. Izuku opened his eyes to feel the air rushing through him at uncomfortable speeds. It takes him a second to realize that he is falling. The first thing he sees is the large amounts of garbage and junk below. Immediately he concentrates his flames oh his palms and soles, trying to lower his decent speed. It's then that he notices someone else falling beside him. It's Todoroki!

He deactivates his fire and tries to grab the other boy "Todoroki! Grab my hand! " he shouted and the ice complied as without a surface to travel on, his ice was damn near useless. Izuku then again activates his fire, pushing it as with the maximum force, and successfully manages to slow their descent, and they land without much of an issue.

"Thanks" is the answer of the heterochromatic boy before he starts inspecting the area. "It seems we are still in the USJ" he concludes before Izuku continues "By the way the terrain is here and the amount of garbage and debris, my guess is that we are in the landslide zone."

Before the teens could continue their investigation, there were suddenly met with the arrival of villains. "Hey, hey look what we have here? A couple of hero wannabes?"

Izuku backed up a bit, before surveying his surroundings. There were at least 30-40 villains here. And combined with the fact that their quirks were unknown, it meant that the two heroes in training were at a massive disadvantage

"It's not looking good Todoroki, I saw we try to get some dis-"

"Ignite your feet on fire"

"Wha-" but before Izuku could finish his sentence, Todoroki froze the entire area. The entire landslide zone. In one go. "What the fuck?!"

Warming his feet to get free from the ice, he turned to see Todoroki making his way to one of the villains. It's then Izuku noticed that the villains were more surprised than he was.

"What the hell? Did he just-"

"Is he really just a kid?"

"I-I can't feel my body"

Todoroki had enough of the villains whining as he finally decided to speak "Your goal was to kill the symbol of peace, yet you can't even take down a first-year student. How pathetic."

"Hey, kid you better watch your mouth or els-"

"Or else what? " shot back the heterochromatin boy, causing both the villains and Izuku the gulp. "Now tell me, on what basis did you think you have a chance against the symbol of peace."

Todoroki asked in a cold and intimidating tone.

"Hey man! We ain't telling shit!"

"Fine, don't tell me. Then I guess you will have to remain frozen here until your cells start to die. Now I want to avoid doing something so cruel to you, so again I ask you, on what basis do you think you can kill All Might? What is your plan?" Todoroki, as he brought up his right hand towards one of the villain's face. Izuku was slightly terrified of Todoroki's demeanor. It reminds him of someone else.

"We don't know! The boss said that that the bird thing was the one to fight All Might. Something about it being a perfect counter or some other shit. Please don't kill me!" the villain blustered out with tears starting to pour from his eyes.

"We are not getting much more out of him," Todoroki said as he started to walk downhill, with Izuku giving chase. Before he could say anything two more villains jumped up from the front, instinctively he activated full cowl and jumped towards them, punching one in the jaw and kicking the other in the chest. Before they made contact with the ground, he saw "Todoroki's ice spread and capture them both and encasing them in ice. He didn't hit Izuku with one unlike the one before. 'Maybe the larger the attack, the more inaccurate it is' Izuku thought as they both continued to walk downwards.

When both were a good distance away from the villains, Izuku finally spoke "Nice bluff with the dead cells thing." to which Todoroki responds with "How'd you know it was a bluff?". Izuku instantly replied "The temperature was too low for that to be true, It'd take days for that to actually happen provided that it doesn't melt first"

And then silence... as the other teen didn't really seem the one to talk. As they made their way to the center of the plaza and they saw their teacher get pinned by the creature. Todoroki tried to immediately jump in to save his teacher but was stopped by Izuku who held his arm. "Let me go. You can go back to the entrance if you're scared."

"No! That's not it, didn't you see his speed! If you launch a barrage at him, he'll be able to dodge it!" whispered Izuku

Todoroki knew that the green boy had a point. Before he could say anything Izuku continued "Your ice is the best chance we have of capturing them, since I'm faster, I'll act as bait and distract them. You can then freeze them once he far from Aizawa Sensei "

"Ok"

Izuku then snuck across the plaza, trying to hide his presence before drawing attention to himself. But before he could do it, saw that the mist villain had returned and informed the blue-haired man "Tomura Shigarki, one of the kids managed to escape!"

The man started to scratch his neck in anger and whispered something to the portal villain that Izuku couldn't hear properly, the only part he could make out was the end where he said "We'll at least hit him where it hurts" and then in the blink of an eye made his way to two other students that were hiding in the bush. Instinctively Izuku activated full cowl dashed towards the villains and landed a kick on his back, before landing and picking up the other students and taking them far from there. He saw that he was holding onto Jirou and Kaminari before setting them down. He was glad that Kaminari was there, because he without a doubt had the most firepower in class, only being surpassed by Todoroki.

"Kaminari! I'm glad you're here, we need yo-" Izuku stopped dead in his track to see his classmate looking a bit... out of it.

"It's no good. The idiot went past his limit and then this happened" Jirou informed Izuku.

"Damn it! Ok, fine. Jirou do you have any long-range attacks?"

"Yeah I ca-" the purple girl was interrupted when the blue-haired man showed up in front of her and touched her face. Only for nothing to happen

"You're really cool, you know that? Eraser."

Attention was now on their teacher, trying to fight against the grip of the creature before it grabbed his skull and bashed it again to the ground.

Izuku acting fully on instinct threw a punch at the villain before he could reach Jirou. But his hand stopped dead in its track when the creature grabbed it, it showed up in front of him in the blink of an eye. Izuku tried to get free but the creature was too strong. The creature winded up a punch, but before it could make contact, its body was suddenly frozen solid, only leaving his hand unfrozen. Izuku finally managed to pull his hand out, then grabbed Jirou and Kaminari and ran towards Todoroki. He used his Attract to pull Aizawa closer towards them.

"Damn it!" he winced at the pain, as even pulling something above 15kgs caused stress to his wrist. Pulling an adult human being should've definitely caused it to sprain or even break but thankfully, the gloves he wore were made as tight as they were for this very reason. Still, he knew if he tried to pull something again, his wrist will definitely break.

"Jirou and Kaminari take Aizawa back to the entrance. Todoroki and I will handle them. " commanded the boy before turning his attention towards the villains.

Jirou complied and Kaminari... he followed Jirou. Todoroki then stepped forward from the hiding spot. No point in hiding now.

"How annoying, these kids from U.A are something else aren't they Kurogiri." it's then Izuku realized that there was a warp quirk-user among the remaining two villains, which made him his next priority.

As Izuku tried to think of a way to take care of the shadowy villain he heard a slight cracking noise, deciding to turn to find out where it came from, he sees the Nomu starting to break out of the ice. The only thing attached to the Nomu was its head and its right arm.

"Is it really that mindless that it just killed itself?" asked Todoroki

"Oh, the Nomu is mindless but it isn't stupid. Just look for yourself" responded Shigarki

Its muscle suddenly started expanding. 'Regeneration ' both teens thought. Izuku immediately Ignited his arm and blasted it with fire, hoping to cauterize it and stop its regeneration. But before the fire made its way to the creature, a portal opened in front of its path and another portal opened right next to Izuku, and the fire was headed his way, which he simply redirected towards Kurogiri, catching him off guard. Now that Kurogiri was stunned Izuku ran towards him and saw a metal brace around the villain which he grabbed and used to pin the villain to the ground.

Todoroki fired off his ice at the Nomu hoping to recapture it, but the Nomu used it's one arm to launch itself out of the path of the ice, surprising him and giving it enough time to fully regrow its limbs.

It's then Shigaraki finally stated "Pyrokinesis, Telekinesis and Super Strength?! Haha, you know sensei would appreciate it if we take you to him as a "Thank you" gift!"

He chuckled before continuing "Nomu, kill this Ice brat and then capture the green one.

And then the Nomu lunched towards...

He's stuck. There is no way he can escape. One of the villains created an ice pole and cuffed him to it, with his hands still submerged. "FUCK! It wasn't supposed to be like this, not anymore. Those days were supposed to be over but now... I am just as helpless as I was back then. How am I supposed to be a hero if I can't get out of this situation? Fucking Deku would've figured it out already... he would probably say "Oh I just tried to-." Holy FUCK! THAT"S IT! If I can just...

A small feral smirk appeared on his face.

Well, well, well. It's me. the guy who takes 2 weeks to upload just a 2.5k worded chapter.

In all honesty, while I love this story and want to make it at a faster pace, I think working on both"The perfect heir that never was" on ao3(shameless plugin) and "Silver Spoon" makes it harder for me to make continuous chapters easily. I think I might focus on just one story if this delay keeps happening.

Not too sure about that yet but may happen.

I have somewhat of an idea where this one might end as opposed to "perfect heir", so this might be the one I finish first. Maybe? I don't know. One thing I can tell you now is that this is not gonna go till the current manga arc, that might be for a future sequel series but not this.
