It was a nice morning on Dragon's Edge. I was staying over for some getaway from being general. We were all eating breakfast when my huge boyfriend ran in, panting.

"Fishlegs, what's wrong... is it Krogan?"

"Viggo??"

He managed to catch his breath.

"No... MY PARENTS ARE COMING TO THE EDGE.!" he proclaimed.

Oh Thor.I've never met Fishlegs' parents and I don't know if they will accept me as his girlfriend. Hiccup shook his head.

"Okay, when?"

"This evening."

What???"Alright then gang, we should get ready for the Ingermans so Astrid, can you do a quick patrol before the sun sets?"

Astrid got up beside him and pecked him on the cheek. Hiccup flushed adorably. "Of course."

"Thanks milady, Snotlout you and the twins are going to catch dinner."

The twins started smiling..

"What shall we hunt, sister?"

"Deer"

"Rabbit"

"Yak"

"What about chicken?" Snotlout sniggered. Then Tuff came up and kicked him in his balls.

"DON'T YOU DARE INSULT CHICKEN!!"

"Owwww... sorry... Gods I don't think i will be able to have children!"

"What about me and Fishlegs?" Hiccup and Astrid gave a look to each other.

"You too can just prepare for our guests." Thank you Astrid."Aww thanks guys."

The rest of the gang left to do their work, leaving me and Fishlegs.

"So... ehm... I like your hair Heather." I smiled instantly.

"Thanks... Fishlegs can i ask you something?"

"Of course."

"I'm scared..."

"Of what?"

"... I'm scared that your parents may not accept me. I mean I'm not really Berkian, nor am I from a stable family. And I may not be liked." Fishlegs took my arms.

"Heather, I like you a lot and so will my parents. And if they don't it's their problem not yours."

"Thanks. " I gave him a kiss on the cheek and left.

I really hope he's right.

Fishlegs' POV

It was sunset and me and the gang were waiting for my parents to dock, with our dragons. I can't believe it... I hope they don't embarrass me.The ship finally reaches the harbour and two large Vikings came out. First came my mother, Peg. She is slightly smaller than me and has blonde hair. Then my father, Harwolf came out. He's larger than me and also as dirty blonde hair, plus the green eyes.

"MUM, DAD!!" I ran up to hug them.

"My little Fishyy, Oh Thor, what has happened to you. Have you lost weight? I can nearly reach your back." I laughed it off.

"Don't worry Peg it's just his training, ain't it boyo. And we will fatten him up in no time." My dad joined.

"Oh right, here's the gang." My mother went up to each and every one of them.

She first approached Hiccup and Astrid. "Congratulations on your betrothal kids, uh you make such a cute couple. I mean I always though you were into more viking-like men, lass, but I'm happy for both of ya. Oh, I nearly forgot." She opened her satchel and gave the couple some bread.

"The finest bread for the finest future chief and chieftess of Berk."

"Aww you did have to do that, Mrs Ingerman." Hiccup replied, gratefully taking the bread."

"Please call me Peg" Then she approached the twins and Snotlout. My father also came up to Snotlout.

"Ya need to have a wors with ya stupid father. He wants to build an extension of his house where my house is. Ya better sort it out." Snotlout whined. "Why do I, you know what.. nevermind."

"Why good evening Mr and Mrs Ingerman. Welcome to Dragon's Edge, where dreams... are just dreams." My parents just looked at the twins in the usual creeped out way.

"Oh and who's this?"

Heather's POV

Ok, be normal"I'm Heather, from the Bereseker Tribe."

"Ah you're the one who tried to steal the book of Dragons a few years back weren't ya?" Fishlegs' father stated.

"Uhh yeah but that was years ago and I'm a changed woman."

"You really are," said Peg. I didn't know what that meant.

Fishlegs then came up with me and held my hand.

"Mum, Dad, Heather is my girlfriend. " The gang clapped but his parents just looked at me. I've ruined everything"So who's hungry? I brought me best dishes." We all then went to the clubhouse for dinner.

Heather's POV

Peg made a lot of food... and I mean A LOT.

She gave the first large plate to Hiccup. "Oh eh sorry but I don't think i can finish that."

"Nonsense, you need the most to fatten you up, can't let your bones be snapped by them dragon killing bastards."

"Eh of course." He took the plate, knowing he was going to be stuffed. Peg gave everyone a plate (her son getting extra of course.) I was last.

"Here you go."

"Oh thanks Peg,"

"Its Mrs Ingerman to ya." I apologised and sat down, beside Fishlegs.

"Are you ok?" my boyfriend whispered.

"Yep" I replied dryly. Everyone had their food and chatted.

Hiccup's POV

Something was up with Heather."Hey Ast, somethings up with Heather," I whispered.

"I thought I was just overthinking."

"I'm going to go talk to her... figurative brother to figurative sister."

"Ok" I squeezed her hand and called Heather over.

I took Heather outside.

"What's wrong Heather I know somethings up?"

"Everything's fine, and why do you care.?

"If your Dagur's sister, your also mine." She smiled gratefully, then spilled.

"Fishlegs' parents hate me and I know they're going to tell me to stay away from my boyfriend regardless of how much we like each other.!" She then realised she said that out loud and turned to see Peg and Harwolf outside with their son.

"Hiccup can you give us some space?"

"Of course."

Heather's POV

This is it."We dont hate you, dear."

"Look I'm sorry, what?"

"We don't hate ya. In fact I like you a lot."

Harwolf also joined. "We just want our son to be happy and safe and it seems you do so."

Fishlegs took me by the hand and kissed me on the lips.

"I told you there was nothing to worry about." I gave him a hug.

"You're right." We went back hand in hand to finish dinner. Gods what was I so worried about.

"You thinking what I'm thinking, Harwolf."

"That our son and the Beserker won't last."

"Yep, I just hope he doesn't get heartbroken. But I dont think they're suited for each other."

Peg than leaned into her husband.

"Don't worry dear, maybe they will realise too."

That took an interesting turn.I personally don't ship heathlegs cause I feel like it was random so Rufflegs for me. But they're cute also
