All Nightmare Long
Chapter 384
Author's Note: Negan is being hinted at so it's time for a new song title. I think it fits perfectly for Negan's rule. Story will be after lyrics. Please review.

All Nightmare Long-Metallica
Luck. Runs. Out
Crawl from the wreckage, one more time. Horrific memory twists the mind. Dark, rutted, cold and hard to turn. Path of destruction, feel it burn. Still life, incarnation, still life, Infamy. Hallucination, Heresy. Still you run, what's to come? What's to be? Cause we hunt you down with out mercy. Hunt you down all nightmare long. Feel us breath upon your face. Feel us shift, every move we trace. Hunt you down without mercy. Hunt you down all nightmare long. Yeah. Luck. Runs. crawl back in. But your luck runs out. Luck. Runs. Out. The light that is not here to flush you out with your own fear. You hide, you hide, but will be found. Release your grip without a sound. Still life, immolation. Still life. Infamy. Hallucination. Heresy. Still you run, what's to come? What's to be? Cause we hunt you down without mercy. Hunt you down all nightmare long. Feel us breathe upon your face. Feel us shift, every move we trace. Hunt you down all nightmare long, yeah. Luck. Runs. Out. You crawl back in but your luck runs out. Then you crawl back in, into your obsession. Never to return, this is your confession. Hunt you down without mercy. Hunt you down all nightmare long. Feel us breath upon your face. Feel us shift, every move we trace. Hunt you down without mercy. Hunt you down all nightmare long. Yeah. Luck. Runs. Out. You crawl back in, but your luck runs out. Your luck runs out.
Jes's POV:
Jes started running faster as she heard gunshots. She knew it was coming from the direction of the twenty mile point that Daryl, Sasha and Abraham was leading the walkers' to. She saw a car following Daryl, and knowing that Sasha and Abraham were together, she followed the car. She raised her rifle and took out the tires of the car that was following them. She took off running into the woods, following Daryl's bike. She had to admit to herself that she owed it to Merle to keep an eye on his family. He would have never asked her too, but she knew it was what he would have wanted, would have expected. She would get Daryl, then they would go after Summer. She knew that David was hiding something, that the story he was telling wasn't the truth. She heard a noise and went to turn around but felt a gun to the side of her face.
"Throw it down," a man's voice ordered.
"Look, I don't want any trouble,"Jes said as she threw down the gun.
"Shut up," the man ordered. "We aren't going back," the man said.
"Get back where?"Jes asked. "Who ever you think I am, I'm not," she said as he pushed her.
"Put your arms out in front of you," he ordered as a woman came up with a rope.
"They aren't going to give up,"the dark haired woman told him.
Jes glanced around and saw Daryl passed out on the ground. "Daryl," she said as she started to move over to him.
"Stop,"the man ordered as he tied her hands.
Jes glared at him. "I am going to go check on my friend, and the only way you are going to stop me is to kill me," she told him.
"I'll do it," the blond hair man said.
"No, you won't. You may want to pull that trigger, but the fact that you haven't done it yet, that tells me you have some humanity left. If you didn't, you would have killed us both," Jes said as she looked at him. "If one of those three women were laying over there hurt, you would risk being shot to get to them, wouldn't you? So now, I'm going to go over there and I'm going to check on my friend," she said as she started to walk over to Daryl.
"We earned everything we took," the second brown haired woman said.
"I don't care, because I don't have any idea what the hell you are talking about," Jes said as she bent down. "Daryl? Can you hear me?"she asked. She looked over at the four of them. "What the hell did you do?"
"Just sit quietly," the man said as he sat down.
"D, what if they aren't part of them?" the darker haired woman asked.
"Someone with some common sense," Jes said.
The man got up and looked at her. "You're right, I won't kill you," he said as he used the back of his gun to hit her and knock her out. "Do you really think they aren't part of the Savior's Sylvie?"
"You don't recognize them?" the youngest woman asked.
"No, Tina I don't," Sylvie said. "If we're wrong, then are we any better then them?"
"Sylvie, why did you come with us?" Sherry questioned. "You didn't have to marry Negan to be taken care of, and you still don't have to work for points."
Sylvie sighed. "I've known Negan for a long time, he was married to my sister. He named a damn bat after my dead sister. Do you think like what he is? What he does with a bat named after my sister. She would have hated what he is doing, and you know that I love Tina like she's my own little sister. I don't want her to have to marry him just to get her medicine. It's wrong, the whole situation is wrong. Plus he's pushing me on Simon," she said with a roll of her eyes. "I don't want to be wrong about them, D. We should listen to what they have to say."
"Do you think we can believe them? She didn't even flinch at a gun in her face or the thought of death. She could be one of his henchmen from an outpost. I'm not willing to take that chance," Dwight told her. "Let's try to get some rest," he said.
The next morning:
Dwight handed Sylvie the second gun and went over to them. "Get up, hey get up we're moving," Dwight told them as he pointed a gun at Daryl and Sylvie pointed a gun at Jes.
Jes moaned as she sat up. "You Ok?" she asked Daryl as Sylvie pulled her up.
"Yeah,you?" he answered.
"Shut up. Here's the deal, you don't say shit and I don't kill you,"Dwight told Daryl.
"He's all talk, he isn't going to pull that trigger. And this one," she said as she nodded to the woman, "is nervous as a bat holding that gun."
"We aint who you think we are," Daryl told them.
"Say something else,"Dwight said as he pointed the gun closer to his face. "Go ahead and follow them," he told Daryl and nodded at Sylvie to push Jessie forward. Jes glanced at Daryl as she took in the four people.
"Here, drink the rest," Sherry told Tina as she held out the water bottle.
"We should save it," Tina answered.
"We'll find some more, drink. You're supposed to stay hydrated. It all works together," Sherry said.
"Yes it does," Tina answered as she took it then gave it back to Sherry.
"Have it,"Sherry said as she handed it back to Daryl and Jes.
They both looked at her and didn't take it. Dwight took it out of her hands and gave it to Daryl. "We don't need either one of you falling down, drink. If they find us maybe we'll give them you, call it even," he said.
"Here," Daryl told Jes as she took the water and drunk it.
"Look, we got people we need to get to, family. As I tried to tell you,"she said as Sylvie held up her gun.
"Shut up," Dwight said. "We're reasonable people. Everybody's got there code, you feel like you got to kneel, fair enough, we don't. Let's go," he told them as they walked through the burnt forest.
"Can't believe we're back," Tina said.
"It's not home anymore. Better than where we were at," Sherry answered.
"This is a pit stop, we pick up Patty nothing more than that," Dwight told them.
"How far are they behind us?" Sylvie asked Jes.
"Once again, I don't know what you are talking about," Jes told them.
"How'd you do it?"Tina asked as they walked through the forest.
"You see where we left the truck?" Dwight asked.
"Yeah," Tina answered.
"We opened the valve and drove all the way in from Farmview road, ran from the tree line til we got all the way to the pavement. Lit a match book from the Sweetwater and dropped it in on the trail. Then we just ran for the car, got in and the dead ones were there. They were beating on the hood and then boom! Knocked 'em on there asses and I took an axe to each one.
"Then we just watched it go up, no more moans, no more of that wailing. It was just fire, just burning them all away," Sherry said.
"You did all this?" Daryl asked.
"Fire, we could use that,"Jes said.
"It was right at the start. Everything stopped, radio, tve, we were here. The forest was full of them. The other ones from town were just drawn to it, they just walked right into the flames. We got most of them. Thought we ended it for us, she was in DC,"Sherry said as she pointed to Tina.
"You?" Jes asked.
"In the hospital with my brother in law and sister. She died of cancer, came back as one of them," Sylvie answered.
"We thought everyone was fight them wherever they were," Sherry answered.
"Yeah that's what we thought everyone was doing. Fight them, so we'd all win together. We were stupid," Dwight said as he let Daryl's arm go.
"I was in the Army, people were scared, no one had any guidance, when communications went out, they went out. You were smart, a lot of people were scared, didn't know what to do,"Jes said. "You could use some of those smart's now,"she told them.
"She's right. Ya'all don't think you're being stupid right now?" Daryl asked.
Dwight pulled out his gun. "You saying we ought to kill you? I mean it, are you going to try to pull something on us?Or are we just being thick here by not removing all doubt? Right now, by me not pulling this trigger, is that a mistake?I'm serious, I really want to know. You made the choice to kill for someone else, to have them own you for a roof over your head and three squares, so maybe I'm not considering all the aspects here. You tell me, am I being stupid?" Dwight asked.
"No, look we got somewhere to be. We can make a deal, we can work something out," Daryl told him.
"You're one of them. Your hurt and only have her with you, and you'd say anything. We should never trusted you people to begin with," Dwight said.
"I have to disagree with Daryl, you are being stupid. If you were smart you would have killed both of us at the camp. But as I said, you aren't that type," Jes said. "For the last time, we aren't who you think we are. We're people trying to get back to our family because they are under attack from the walkers.' Believe me, if we were who you think we were, we would have killed you already, but we aren't," she told them.
