VIOLET WAS INTERUPPTED BY THE FOOTSTEPS OF REGGIE QUICKLY COMING IN. She turned to see him run happily inside and was confused but chuckled at his joy.

"What's going on?" She asked as Reggie made his way towards the bathroom.

"Julie said we can stay! So i'm going to take a quick shower because I miss those!" He told her and with that he was gone from her sight.

Violet laughed to herself once again as she then saw Luke and Alex coming in next.

"I'm so stoked! At least we get to stay here still!" Luke exclaimed as he hopped onto the couch.

"That's nice." Violet just responded civilly. Alex just looked at the two of them and cleared his throat awkwardly.

"So what do we do now?"

Violet didn't have an answer to that, wondering the same. What do they do now specifically since they're, you know, dead. At least they don't have to go to school anymore, which she liked the idea of.

Luke seemed to think about it for a second as his eyebrows were knitted, "I have an idea, but where's Reggie?"

"Do you not hear the shower running?" Violet said as Luke's mouth opened. "Oh."

No one talked, the tension rising as every minute passed by. They all soon heard that the shower was turned off, and soon enough Reggie's joyous expression appeared before them.

"Kind of bummed that we can't really get wet anymore." He frowned but still smiled right after. "Anyways, that was fun!"

Luke stood up, "Alright! Let's go!" He said as he poofed the four of them somewhere. Now, they were sitting on top of a building. Violet was confused until she looked around and saw the big lit up sign. The Orpheum.

She looked down to see people walking by, not knowing that they were being watched from above. She took it in to just think about what could've been if they hadn't died.

The fame, the fans, most importantly, the music.

She shook her head as she looked up at the night sky. The stars were shining bright that night and the moon was a nice crescent shape.

She always loved watching the moon and stars. Maybe an up side to the whole being dead thing was that now she could just look at them for as long as she'd like without having to worry about anything.

She continued looking as Luke began to speak, "I know being dead isn't our first choice, but I mean it sure is easy getting around!" he and Alex both grinned as they watched the people too.

"Easy for you maybe. I lost my shirt on that one!" Reggie told as he looked down to see his bare chest. Suddenly, his shirt reappeared on him. "Oop, nevermind! There it is." He said as Luke chuckled. He looked over to Violet since she was staying quiet the whole time, not taking a glance at any of them.

"Okay! So why'd you take us here?" Alex questioned. "Just another painful reminder of where we never got to play. Thanks, Luke." He patted his shoulder sarcastically.

"I mean boys, plus Violet if she's listening, the game isn't over yet." Luke started off as he poofed the four of them down to the ground.

Since Violet really wasn't paying attention, she didn't realize that they weren't sitting on the top anymore until she landed on her butt as the night sky was replaced with bright lights from the shops that were by the theater. "Hey!" She groaned at the tiny bit of pain she was feeling.

"Oh sorry, um, here." Luke apologized as he offered her his hand. Violet just ignored it and got up herself not noticing the slight flash of hurt and sadness displayed on his face.

"I'm telling you, we've been given a second chance! Let's find some music. Let's see how many clubs we can hit before sunrise." He suggested as the four of them were now walking down the street. Violet felt a tiny bit of discomfort walking. Even though that she wasn't alone, she still had the memory of her death implemented in her brain.

She almost screamed when she bumped into someone and almost fell face first on the ground if Alex hadn't have caught her. "Hey!" he called out to the man who knocked into her, but he had just given a slight nod and walked away.

"Are you okay?" he asked Violet as she just nodded. The two of them watched as the man was slowly disappearing with the other people around them.

"Alex, Violet, you coming?" They heard Luke call out to them.

"Yeah, let's go!" Reggie added. The two left one last look before looking at each other confused and turning back around to catch up with the others. Alex ran but Violet just took her time to walk.

"That was so fun!" Reggie exclaimed as they walked out of the last club they had been in.

Violet laughed, "You didn't have to spook that poor couple in the corner, Reg." She said as she remembered how Reggie got a hold of one of their drinks and held it firmly so the man was struggling to get it back, then suddenly let go of it causing the glass to break.

"Well, fun time is over for now. Let's go back to the studio and see what we can do next." Luke told them as they nodded. They all poofed back into the studio and the first thing they saw and heard was Julie singing and playing the piano. They watched as the girl was unaware of their presence.

"Woah" Violet whispered quietly to herself as she was amazed at her voice. The guys didn't say anything as well, but she could see in their eyes the surprise in them.

Julie finished the song and sat back down on the piano bench as she picked up the piece of paper with the message her mother had written on there and hugged it.

Alex went to go in and hug the poor girl, but Luke grabbed his shoulder before he could do so and shook his head no. Hell, if Alex wasn't going to, Violet was, and that says a lot since she wasn't really one to give out free hugs to random people unless it was her boyfri- ex boyfriend.

Luke gestured for the four of them to poof out and that's what they did. So now, they were in front of the garage.

"Oh dude, why'd you stop me? Julie needs a hug." Alex asked as Luke looked back for a moment.

"Bro, a ghost hug isn't the feel good moment that you think it is, alright? Trust me, what Julie needs right now is just a bit of privacy."

"You know what? I think you poofed us out because you can't handle when other people cry. I should know." Alex stated as he faced away from him. "I cried in a room for twenty-five years, and I didn't get a single hug from either of you." He said as he sounded like he was going to cry again.

"Alright, bring it in." Reggie went in for a hug but Alex stopped him.

"Don't touch me!"

"This is why no one hugs you." Reggie commented as Violet snickered quietly to herself.

"O-kay. So I think the first thing we should do, once we get the courage to go in there, is ask Julie why she lied about playing the piano."

"Yeah, you know maybe tell her how amazing she is."

"Yeah, of course bro" Luke agreed as he lightly threw a fist at Alex's shoulder.

Violet rolled her eyes, "Are you guys actual idiots?"

"Are you going to continue calling us idiots" Luke retorted back but she just glared at him.

"Yes I am. Maybe she lied because she didn't want people knowing about it. Didn't she tell you guys that the song she just sang was her mother's? Judging from how she sang in there so passionately, it was probably the first time she's touched a musical instrument and sang since her mother's passing."

"She's legit. I got ghost bumps." Reggie expressed as he pointed to his arm.

"Great pun" Violet said in response to that monotonously. She was about to speak again when they heard sniffles coming from another girl who had just walked past them and entered into the garage.

"Gosh, was she crying too?" Alex questioned as they looked at the girl walk in.

"Yes!" Luke replied as if he was terrified. "And the only thing scarier than one girl crying is two girls crying!" He grumbled facing at the two guys and girl.

"He's right."

"Guys we definitely can't go in there."

Violet took this time to hit the three of their heads. "I don't know how I actually put up with you guys for seven years of my life. You know what, I'll go in there and make it three girls because I have a lot of tears left to shed."

"You know what we can do, we can listen!" Reggie declared as he made his way to look through the windows of the garage, Luke and Alex following after him.

"So now you're going to eavesdrop on a conversation you're not apart of. Why do I even try?" Violet asked to herself as she sighed and made her to the stone steps to sit at. She didn't do anything but just made little circles with her feet by the tiny bit of gravel that was there. She then heard the doors of the garage open, and looked to see the guys not so subtly standing there as if they were not just eavesdropping in on their conversation.

"Oh hey!" Julie greeted the guys as she saw them forgetting that they were ghosts. Flynn turned to see what she was going to say but she immediately spoke again, "Let's hustle!"

They walked as Julie turned to wave goodbye to them. "Don't worry! we weren't listening!" Reggie told as Luke kicked him. Julie then noticed violet sitting and waved goodbye to her with a smile on her face. violet smiled back at her as it was nice to see her in a good mood. Julie then began to pretend as if she were swatting flies around them once Flynn stopped walking.

Violet got up and walked back into the garage as the boys were now in there. "I wonder why Julie didn't tell us she could shred on the piano?" Reggie shared as if they didn't hear what she had in response to that question earlier.

"And sing. That girl can sing!"

"It probably had something to do with her mom, you know? Must've been hard." Alex commented with a sad tone.

"Right, because that totally wasn't what I said." Violet mentioned as she walked over to the couch. Alex just nodded apologetically as he remembered the conversation they had right before Julie's friend arrived. he then made his way up to loft, and if violet could remember right, if she wasn't at her room that was where she would spend the night. "Anyways. I feel for her." Violet added sympathetically.

"Yeah but, now she's got music back into her life, just like us!"

"But we're dead." Violet reminded them all as she lazily sat across the couch. She then mindlessly placed her hand where she would normally keep random pens in the couch as if she was about to write something, and to her surprise there were pens there. Funny how a lot of their stuff was still there.

Reggie and Luke just blinked at her for the way she just casually brought it up. "Oh hey! Some of the clothes we left behind are still up here!" They heard Alex say with an excitement in his voice as he dropped down the trash bag. "Yours too, Via!" He added as he dropped another bag down.

Violet instantly got up and walked over to see her light duffled bag. She grinned as she picked it up and looked through to see that some of her favorite articles of clothing were in there.

"Sweet!" Luke said, thrilled as he proceeded to take his jacket and shirt off. "Oh, same clothes since '95, boys." He said right after as he looked through the bag to find a new shirt to wear. Violet's eyes widened. She wasn't expecting to see him shirtless and averted her eyes away from him even if she wanted to drool over him a bit. Wait no. Just no.

She heard Reggie groan a bit, "Oh, that was weird." She looked over to see that Julie's dad had entered in the garage with a camera in hand. "But somehow I can tell this man has a kind heart."

Violet chuckled, "Reg, you say that about everyone you see."

"So, how've ya been?"

Reggie looked around before responding, "Honestly, not that good. See we ate these hot dogs, and well we died-"

"Julie sang for the first time this morning." Ray talked as he moved around a bit. "She hadn't done that in a year. You would've loved it."

"Yeah, we saw cause we were... oh!" Reggie started but trailed off once Ray took a picture on his camera. Reggie waved his hand in front of him, "Oh, I get it. He- he's not talking to us."

"You are so lucky you can play bass." Luke commented. Violet rolled her eyes at him as she just smiled at Reggie who didn't get what Luke really meant.

"Pretty sure he's talking to Julie's mom." Alex told him from the loft.

"She's such an amazing young woman. Everyday she reminds me more and more of you."

"Called it!"

"Oh I'm, uh, taking pictures for the real estate website. I don't really want to move but... I guess it's best for Julie."

"Move?" Luke questioned as his eyes were settled on Ray wanting to know more.

Ray moved to sit at the piano, "There's so many memories of Julie playing next to you, and Carlos trying to sing with his missing two front teeth." He chuckled at the memory.

Violet was starting to feel so bad for the poor man, starting to think about her own parents when they found out about her death. Did they ever go and talk to her like how Ray was talking to his wife? She was getting emotional at the moment, but the tears that were about to fall didn't once she heard a shaky breath from Luke. She looked over to see him with his hand over his mouth as if he was about to cry.

"Oh no, Luke, not you too." Reggie commented as the three of them watched Luke.

Luke holds back a sob as he shakes his head no, "He's.. he's talking about moving, but the poor guy, he doesn't want to move."

Ray moves to start taking pictures, "It's like they grew up out here." Violet, for the fun of it, began posing as if she was the one being photographed. She did peace signs and silly faces until she heard Reggie tear up.

"Oh man, now he's got me too." He begins to fan himself to stop himself from crying.

"Okay, how am I the emotional one?" Alex asked bemusedly to no one in particular.

Violet patted his shoulder, "You ran out of tears, bud." She then did another peace sign when Ray snapped another picture.

"C-c-can we go see my family and see how they're doing?" Reggie suddenly asked facing Violet and Alex.

"Yeah.. listening to this feels... wrong." Violet nodded her head in agreement.

"Hey, do you remember when the kids were at your sister's," They heard Ray speak again as they faced back to him. "And we came out here on our anniversary..."

"Oh my..." Violet said as her mouth dropped.

"Yeah, no, definitely wrong." Luke exclaimed as he poofed out of there. Reggie following the same.

"Let's dip, mi amigo." Violet told Alex as they were the last ones to leave.
