It was morning and sunlight streamed through the windows.
Morgana's eyes fluttered. She blinked several times, looking around the room trying to get her bearings. She looked up to see Merlin smiling down at her.
""Good Morning my beautiful love! Welcome back to the living! How are you feeling?" Merlin asked.
"A little stiff, but rested. That is the best nights sleep I have had in ages." Morgana smiled up at him. She so wanted to pull him down to kiss him but her wounds would not let her.
A few moments later, they heard Hunith's voice calling them for breakfast.
Merlin stood up to go to the table.
Morgana tried to rise and found her wounds not letting her. Merlin saw her struggle and pushed her down on the bed, "Stay and rest. I will get your food for you."
Morgana sighed missing his warmth and laid back down.
Merlin came back over and helped her eat while Hunith fed Vivian with a smile on her face. She was so proud to see the sensitive, caring, capable man in the son she had raised. She was determined to help him keep his family together.
Merlin finished feeding Morgana then turned and saw his mother finishing up with Vivian and setting her down, bustling about. The familiarity of his mother caring for him and his "family" calmed him. His mother had always been his rock in times of trouble. Proof of that characteristic made his heart swell with gratitude.
He wasn't sure what Morgana was thinking, but for now, he wanted only to watch the beauty that was his daughter and the woman who helped him make her. This is what he wanted to wake up to everyday. The feeling swelled in his chest and filled him completely. His heart was stretching everyday he spent with Morgana now. He could not go back to the hate that had existed before. He would do everything in his power to keep them safe and happy and hopefully close to him the rest of his life because nothing to this point even compared to the joy that infused his heart and mind because of his vision.
Vivian, stretched her tiny arms and yawned before turning to look curiously at Morgana, then at Merlin who was watching her with open awe on his face. Vivian reached up to pat his cheek with her chubby toddler hand and smiled.
Merlin's heart melted right through the floor as he turned his head to kiss the tiny chubby hand of their daughter.
Morgana was watching the exchange with fascination. She swooned as her now toddler, reached out a hand to grab some of Morgana's hair smiling a most beautiful toddler smile. Her eyes met Merlin's. So many emotions flashed across their faces, happiness that they were finally safe from the Sarrum, guilt and sorrow for the time they had lost, joy because of the beginnings of forgiveness, curiosity as to the events of the past, hope, trepidation and the stirring of what Hunith knew was the beginning of love.
Merlin smiled and helped Hunith clear away the dishes and settled Vivian to play with her toys.
Morgana watched them with a smile on her face. She didn't want to interrupt the happy scene with her pains. However, her wounds were bothering her and Hunith noticed her grimace.
"Merlin help me check and change Morgana's bandages." Hunith said as she warmed some tea.
Merlin carefully helped Morgana to sitting and helped her drink the tea his mother made.
Morgana's eyes closed in relief as the tea warmed her body and eased the pain from her wounds.
Vivian was the type of child to watch carefully. She moved closer to Hunith and Merlin as they worked on Morgana. Vivian had come to know Morgana over a fortnight as someone who cared for her deeply. She trusted her, cared for her. More importantly, if Merlin and Hunith took care of her so carefully, she was important. Vivian put her chubby toddler hand on Morgana's hand patting it and saying in her baby voice. "Be Okay."
Hunith and Merlin smiled at the baby's effort to comfort.
Morgana's eyes opened to gaze on her daughter and felt heart swell with love. This was her beautiful baby. This was her sanity.
The tea took it's effect and Morgana's head dropped to the pillow in sleep.
Merlin and Hunith quickly dressed her wounds and laid her to rest on the bed.
When they had finished, Merlin turned to Vivian. He wanted Vivian to know her parentage that he was her father and Morgana was her mother. However, the discovery was still so new, even to him He couldn't bring himself to say the words. Instead, he smiled at Vivian. "She will be okay. ….eventually. We need to let her sleep.
"How about you and I go outside and play so she can?"
Vivian smiled up at him. "Horsey, horsey."
Merlin's smile was gigantic.
Hunith smiled nodding her head at Merlin to go ahead. "I'll watch over Morgana till you come back."
Merlin swung Vivian up on his shoulders and walked out the door closing it softly behind him. He galloped around the yard a few times with Vivian squealing in delight before heading to the back of the yard to feed the few chickens Hunith had.
He grabbed some grain from a sack in the shed and fed them.
Vivian chortled in her baby way as the chickens squawked and pecked at the grains.
Merlin loved to hear his daughter laugh. He put Vivian down and lingered to enjoy the moment before swinging her up again.
Vivian squealed in delight as he turned toward the shed where he kept his horse.
Once there, he put Vivian down on a little stool telling her to stay while he saddled the horse.
Vivian sat and watched with wide eyes.
When Merlin was done, he swung Vivian up on the saddle and climbed up behind her. It was moments later they were riding across the field on the horses back, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air listening to Vivian babble in response to his explanations of the flora and fauna they passed.
After a while of riding and singing a few songs, Merlin got off the horse and lifted Vivian off to set her on the ground. There was a stream nearby. Merlin let his horse get a drink while he got his water skin and filled it so he and Vivian could have a drink.
Vivian ran, "Chase me!"
Merlin chased after her while his horse stood close by and nibbled on some grass.
When he caught her, he swung her over his head, "I am your papa." The words were out.
Vivian squealed in delight as Merlin swung her around again before settling her in his arms.
"Papa?" Vivian questioned. She scrunched up her nose and furrowed her brow poking Merlin's chest with her toddler hand. " Merlin."
"Yes I am Merlin. But I want you to call me "Papa." Merlin said.
"Why?" Vivian asked.
Merlin suddenly saw he had opened a can of worms that might be to difficult to fully explain to a two year old. He decided to keep it simple. "Papas take care of their babies. You are my baby and I will take care of you. So call me Papa."
"Papa Merlin?" Vivian tried it on.
"That's right!" Merlin said smiling happily.
"Papa Merlin!" she looked at him smiling.
Merlin nodded as a grin split his face.
"Papa Merlin!" Vivian reached for Merlin who picked her up and swung her around. Both were laughing in joy and happiness. Merlin swung Vivian to his shoulders and galloped around.
He finally stopped to put Vivian down. Merlin smiled stupidly as Vivian continued to gallop around singing "Papa, Papa Merlin, Papa, Papa Merlin."
Vivian suddenly stopped, "Huni take care of me. Huni is Papa too? Papa Huni."
Merlin smiled at Vivian's nickname for Hunith and her question. "Hunith is Grandma. Grandma's take care of babies too."
"Gamma take care of me." Vivian wrinkled her nose trying the word.
" Yes Grandma takes care of you too." Merlin said slower.
"Gamma? Vivian tried again .
It was really too many vowels and consonants for a two year old. Merlin smiled. "Gamma will do for now." Merlin chuckled.
"Which reminds me, we should probably get back. Gamma will wonder where we are." He pulled out his water skin and took another drink, then gave some to Vivian before swinging her back into the saddle and climbing up behind her.
The sun was high in the sky when they arrived at the cottage. Hunith had a pot of soup boiling and hot bread she was pulling out of the oven. Morgana was still sleeping.
Hunith smiled as Merlin and Vivian entered.
"Something smells good." Merlin smiled at his mother as he entered the cottage putting Vivian down .
"Welcome back. Did you have a nice time?" Hunith said.
"Papa Merlin!" Vivian exclaimed, dancing around, pointing to Merlin. "We fed the chickens and rode the horsey." She skipped and twirled. "Fun! Papa Merlin take care of me!"
Hunith's eyebrow climbed up like Gaius', "So! Papa Merlin is it?"
Vivian nodded her head in excitement reaching up to Hunith who picked her up with a big smile.
Vivian pointed at Hunith, "Gamma Huni!"
Hunith smiled in surprise with a slight tear in her eye. " That is right. "Gamma Huni."
Merlin felt his eyes water with emotion. His daughter was nothing short of brilliant and being part of her learning made his heart swell with pride along with the fact that they were family.
Hunith held her arm out to her son as she caught his shining eyes, pulling him in with Vivian. Her eyes were shining as well.
They enjoyed a hug until Merlin's and Vivian's stomach growled. They all laughed.
Hunith tickled Vivian's stomach. "That means it is time to eat." Hunith chuckled.
Merlin couldn't hide his laughter as they all walked to the kitchen to set the table and sit down to the soup and bread rolls Hunith had made.
Morgana stirred and moaned slightly.
Hunith looked over at her in concern before holding her fingers to her lips in a signal for quiet.
Merlin went over to check on her. "She has a bit of a fever. Do you have some willow bark? If you don't I can get you some."
Vivian, sensing Merlin's worry, jumped up to stand by her papa and looked at Morgana on the bed. "Okay?"
"No sweetheart. She is not okay. She needs rest and medicine." Merlin frowned. "She is very sick."
Vivian patted his hand with a small knowing smile, "Papa magic make her better."
Merlin could have slapped himself for not thinking to use his magic earlier. Morgana knew about his magic now. So using his magic to heal her was a logical thing to do. He smiled. " Yes, Papa will try to make her better." Merlin put his hand on Morgana's and focused his magic to stop the fever and the pain and seal up her wounds. Morgana sighed in relief as her brow smoothed.
Vivian and Merlin turned back to the table eating their soup.
Merlin helped Vivian wipe her hands and face before helping her down from the table and setting out her toys to play with. It had been a big morning and the toddler was asleep moments later clutching a soft doll Hunith had made her.
Merlin helped Hunith clean up the dishes and put the food away before they again sat down at the table.
Hunith looked at Merlin, "How long do you plan on staying?"
"I am not sure. It is like you said. Morgana needs time to rest and heal." Merlin sighed. "Vivian needs to know her mother."
Hunith nodded. " I think it would be a good idea to let her rest and heal here. Vivian does need to know her mother. I want you all to stay as long as you need to work things out."
Merlin was so grateful for his mother and smiled at her. "Things have been so complicated between us." He paused. "I never thought I would be a father because Arthur has kept me so busy. He has been my focus." He frowned as Hunith patted his hand in sympathy.
Merlin smiled at his mother's comfort. "Vivian is such a joy. I love her mother. I couldn't bear it if Morgana took her from me." Merlin felt his eyes start to sting with tears that were threatening.
Hunith nodded in empathy
"I want us to be a family. We need time together, time to discuss things." Merlin wiped at the tears that accumulated in his eyes.
"I know you will find a way Merlin." Hunith said seriously, "You have already done much by taking care of the Sarrum. I know Morgana was frightened of him because of the dream she had last night. " "However," Hunith looked into his eye, "Her reaction to you when you came in from all that destruction and fire and riding the dragon..."
Merlin grasped his mother's hand. "Her reaction was a breakthrough, wasn't it!" He exclaimed. She thanked me for taking out her enemy."
Hunith nodded, agreeing as a smile split her face./
Merlin stopped for a moment. "All this time I felt I was going mad. I wanted to hate her, but I never could. The dragon told me to kill her and I never could. Gaius told me to avoid her."
Hunith smiled. "I know you will figure this out Merlin. You are a man of honor. I know you will do the right thing."
"I have had dreams mother. I have this strange connection with Morgana. I am sure it is because we both have magic. I think some of my dreams have been a result of the time I was in Morgana's hovel when we conceived Vivian."
"So you remember that time?" Hunith asked. She just looked seriously at Merlin waiting for him to continue.
"I think I have been dreaming about parts and pieces of it for years. Before now, I thought it was my fevered brain But now, I know those dreams were so potent and powerful because they actually happened. I never had them before the fomorrah incident in Morgana's hovel."
Many emotions flitted over Merlin's face.
"It's okay Merlin. You don't need to give me the explicit details if you don't want to." Hunith smiled understandingly.
Merlin smiled at her in relief moving on to his current dream.
"I had a dream that Morgana and I were married, we had more than one child and another on the way. We were at a picnic with Arthur, Gwen and the knights. It was such a happy time. There was so much love!" Merlin paused as a big smile spread over his face before looking at his mother. "I want that more than anything!"
Hunith's smile mirrored her son's enthusiasm. "Well if you want that dream to come true, you eventually should ask Morgana to marry you. And, you will want to write a letter to Arthur as soon as possible and ask for some more time off. Some neighbors will be leaving for Camelot soon."
Merlin groaned.
Hunith got up from the table. "There is some parchment in the cupboard and a quill and ink.
"I need some fresh air. While I am out, I will get some willow bark and check with those that are leaving soon, while you write your letter, and look after Morgana."
"What about Vivian?"/p
Vivian hearing her name looked up from her toys. "I go with you. I help Gamma." she said with a big smile.
"I can take Vivian with me." Hunith smiled, her eyes shining not being able to resist her granddaughter's adorable smile or the new title Vivian had bestowed.. "It is not too far."
"Vivian clapped her hands in joy.
Merlin got out the parchment ink and quill and sat down to write Arthur a letter telling him that he had sick family to attend to and would not be returning to Camelot till further notice.
Hunith had still not returned when Morgana started to stir. Merlin went over to check her bandages, temperature and pulse.
Morgana opened her eyes to see Merlin sitting on the bed next to her holding her hand and looking at her in concern.
"How do you feel?" Merlin asked."
Morgana yawned and stretched her toes and clenched and unclenched the fingers of the hand Merlin was not holding. "Better!" She closed her eyes remembering last night when she had hugged Merlin for killing her enemy and their declarations of love and the passionate kisses. She could not stop a small smile curving her lips at the memory.
She looked up at Merlin who's eyes were softening at the sight of her smile. "Last night...we said things." she paused suddenly unsure, she grasped Merlin's wrist. You rode a dragon! She grasped his forearms. Fire! Death! The Sarrum" she grasped his shoulders and started to hyperventilate.
Merlin gently wrapped his arms around her careful of her bandages. His magic had healed her, but she still needed rest. He rocked her back and forth gently.
"The Sarrum is dead. He can no longer hurt you. I won't let him. Shh". He stroked his hands through her hair and continued to rock her. "It will be alright. I will protect you!"/
Morgana's arms went around his waist as she pulled him closer squeezing her lids shut against the fear, the tears that threatened to were words she had heard last night. Today in the bright sunlight, she believed him. Merlin had always been more than a serving boy to her. He had become the most important person to her. He was her knight in shining armour.
Merlin just held her and let her cry.
"Thank you Merlin. Thank you Merlin." the same words fell from her lips over and over again. Her stomach growled interrupting the moment. Merlin chuckled. She looked up in embarrassment.
"I suppose you are hungry." Merlin smiled down at her.
His smile was infectious. Morgana smiled up at him. "I suppose so."
"There is some soup from lunch. I can warm it up for you."
"Morgana smiled, "That sounds lovely."
Merlin smiled, got the soup out and used his magic to warm it up to a perfect temperature. He pulled out the bread Hunith had made and brought it on a tray over to Morgana.
Morgana took a spoonful and ate slowly. The soup warmed her insides. Nothing had ever tasted so good. The thought surprised her as Merlin had poisoned her. She stopped.
Merlin sat by watching with a smile on his face as she ate. She was so beautiful and now she was here with him. When she stopped and frowned, he asked her. "What is wrong?"
"The soup is delicious. You didn't poison it?" Morgana asked.
Merlin frowned. The memory of him poisoning her darkened his thoughts.
Morgana saw him frown. His shining eyes darkened as he took deep breaths to control his emotions. She put her spoon down.
Merlin gave a shuddering breath. "I didn't want to do it. I have nightmares about it every night. It is my biggest regret."
"You have said that before." Morgana said. She took a deep breath promising herself she wasn't going to yell. "Just tell me why." She started eating the soup and the roll as a show of good faith that she would do her best to believe him.
"I thought you had planned everything with Morgause because that Knight of Medhir did not kill you. I was afraid to ask. I didn't want to believe that you would do something so horrible. I tried so many different things and nothing was working. I asked the dragon and he said you were the anchor for the curse." He looked into her green eyes as tears pricked at his own., "He said to destroy the curse I had to destroy the anchor to destroy the curse. I was running out of time." Tears threatened to fall. "I was desperate So I poisoned you." He blinked to keep the tears from falling that had accumulated. "I am so sorry. So sorry!"
"Morgana dropped her spoon trying to gather her thoughts as the explanation fell from Merlin's mouth. She was bowled over. "Morgause told me you wanted me dead, that you were happy about poisoning me."
"No!" Merlin shouted, alarmed at the accusations. "I didn't want you dead and I wasn't happy about it. I just thought it was the only way!"
"I didn't know I was the source. Morgause didn't tell me." Realization touched her and she gasped in horror. "Oh God! I am sorry I put you in that position."
Morgana felt guilt climb in her heart. "I want you to know something Merlin." Morgana grasped his hand and held it to her chest. "I told Morgause I wanted to destroy Uther. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was in Camelot and everyone was falling asleep. I didn't know I was the source of the curse. I am so sorry!"
She threw her arms around Merlin and they cried together. "I'm sorry" was whispered as they clung to each other./p
p style="margin-bottom: 0in;" /p
"It was later and both had calmed somewhat after discussing their mutual blindness when it came to Morgause and the dragon. Merlin told Morgana he wanted her to stay. Morgana echoed his sentiment. Both of them felt this pull toward each other and neither of them wanted to let go of the feeling of peace that seemed to remain in spite of and through all the anguish they had dredged through that day.
There were more tears. But luckily most of them had dried. Merlin had given Morgana more of the tea that helped her sleep and mute the pain from her wounds.
It was dinnertime when Hunith came in with a sleeping Vivian in her arms. Merlin got up and warmed up the rest of the soup and pulled out some bread and cheese to go with it. Vivian woke up long enough to eat and sing a song with Hunith and Merlin. Merlin told her a story and she passed out before it was finished. It had been a long day for the girl. Merlin put her to bed and covered her up with a final kiss to her head. Oh how he loved his little girl.
Morgana had woken momentarily to the scene, entranced once again at the love she felt flowing from Merlin to their little girl.
Hunith smiled at them both. "I am glad you are still here Morgana. How are you feeling?"
"Much better," Morgana stated. She looked down at herself to see mostly clean bandages. "I think the wounds have stopped bleeding. Merlin has been taking excellent care of me." Morgana smiled at Merlin through her eyelashes.
Merlin felt the heat rise in his body at the look she gave him. "We have made some good progress." He returned the look.
Hunith just smiled. It brought bittersweet memories of Balinor. "Well I think we should call it a night. Tomorrow is another busy day."
The next few days were a bit of a repeat. Merlin would spend the morning with Vivian while Morgana rested. He used his magic to catch rabbits or birds for dinner. Sometimes he would chop wood as they were always needing it for cooking and heating. Hearing Vivian's joyful babbling while she was with Merlin leaving the house, working in the yard, or returning home further cemented seeds in Morgana's mind to never separate herself or Vivian from Merlin. She found herself joining in their conversations when they were around her and she was awake. The familiarity of their bonds seemed to flow as if they were the most natural things in the world.
Hunith would fix lunch and smile to herself at the progress she saw in Morgana's mental and physical state. Morgana and her son were good together. She saw the bond between them grow stronger everyday. Sometimes, Hunith would go out to do the morning chores while Merlin took care of Morgana and fix lunch. They would discuss things and play with Vivian who was now calling Morgana "Momma" and Merlin "Papa."As Morgana got better, she would help with the cleaning and meal preparation.
Merlin and Morgana had gotten to the point in their discussions where Morgana started telling them of her imprisonment with the Sarrum and how she had gotten away by setting the place on fire with her magic and with the help of Aithusa.
Merlin and Hunith listened with compassion and some bubbling anger. Despite all Morgana had done wrong, no one deserved what she had suffered at the hands of the Sarrum.
Merlin was glad Kilgarah had incinerated them despite the guilt he felt for taking life. It was not pleasant to him that it had felt so good. Killing was not something that Merlin liked. However, this was his family and he would be dammed if he didn't want to protect them and keep them safe and happy with everything he had regardless the costs or consequences.
Merlin finally explained how he was a dragon lord and all that entailed. Hatching Aithusa, commanding dragons, and how Kilgarah had helped him with many problems before Merlin freed him. He told Morgana that he was Emrys. That revelation had thrown Morgana for a loop but Merlin was quick to reassure her he would never harm her. He had pulled her to him as she had almost passed out. He whispered his promise to her as he kissed her cheeks. As she revived, she kissed him back.
Morgana had known there was something special about Merlin and this was that something. She felt her whole body hum with what she now recognized as Merlin's magic and dragon lord powers. She was flooded with a new respect for Merlin every day she watched him. She had questions about how Merlin had gotten this power. Hunith was the one to explain how it was a gift passed from father to son when the father died. Morgana had cried for the loss they all suffered because Balinor was no longer with them.
Vivian often stood next to Merlin during his telling. Hunith would get the toddler some milk and a biscuit. She kept bustling around organizing tea, sandwiches, fruit and vegetables from the garden for the adults without words as she continued to listen. Merlin pulled Vivian into his lap where she contentedly ate and drank her milk and then curled herself into Merlin's chest where she immediately fell to sleep comforted by Merlin's deep, rumbling voice.
Morgana was totally blown away by the fire and passion she felt from Merlin. To see this protective side of Merlin directed towards her and their child warmed her heart. She had never felt so safe and secure in her life as she did at this time She had never felt this way around Morgause or Uther.
Vivian stirred in Merlin's arms smiling up at her father as she put her hand on his chest.
Merlin looked down at her blue eyes that matched his own and felt his heart swell just as it did every time he looked at her.
Merlin and Hunith did the chores and Merlin started on an addition to the house.
Morgana mostly slept and spent time with Vivian who was going through a growth spurt and needed lots of sleep as well. Her daughter brought her so much comfort. The darkness that she had endured in the Sarrum's pit receded more and more each time she looked into her daughter's smiling face. The care she received from Merlin and Hunith also pushed at the darkness in Morgana gradually receding as each day passed.
It was several weeks later. Morgana had gained strength every day due to the tender ministrations of Merlin and Hunith and the time she spent with her beautiful Vivian. Her many physical wounds had healed. Morgana had always healed quickly. She knew it was because of Merlin's magic.
After a month, Morgana was feeling well enough to help in the garden and help Merlin with the new addition.
Merlin spent as much time as he could with his daughter. Work on the addition to the house and the shed was coming along nicely as well especially since Morgana had started helping him.
They finished the project in record time. They had made a bed and Hunith had pulled out some of her fabric stores for a ticking and some blankets. Now there was a room for Morgana with a side partition and small bed for Vivian.
Vivian was a constant joy to her and Merlin as her vocabulary was growing by leaps and bounds and she became more active. Morgana and Merlin would tell her stories at night after the days work was done. Sometimes they would sing by the fire. The music would vary from lullabies to jigs. They would all dance when it turned to a jig. It was a very happy time. Merlin and Morgana found themselves enjoying each others company more and more. They were home as long as they were together. Neither one had stated the fact openly.
Merlin had written Gaius who had sent books which Morgana or Merlin read to Vivian everyday. The harvest was upon them and when Vivian was sleeping, Morgana would help Hunith with drying and other forms of food preservation for the winter.
Sometimes they would go on a picnic as a family even though they had not officially labeled themselves as such. Merlin would chase Vivian and Morgana around, Then Morgana would chase Vivian and Merlin around. Vivian would be yelling "Mommy! Daddy! catch me!" They would catch her and tickler her, she would kiss their cheeks and they would kiss her back.
Sometimes they would each grab one of Vivian's hands and swing her high in the air, all smiling and laughing in delight. Or, Merlin would grab Vivian and swing her in a circle till he fell to the ground in exhaustion with Vivian placed on his stomach and tickled her till she was breathless with laughter. Morgana laughed so hard and came over to join them when she tripped on a rock and fell on top of Merlin.
Vivian reached over to Morgana and patted her cheek. "Mommy okay?"
Morgana patted her back " I am okay"
"That is a good thing," Merlin growled, "because the tickle dragon is going to tickle you both." He grabbed Morgana till she was writhing with laughter. Vivian crawled on top of Merlin. He pulled her in front of him and started tickling her as well and peppering her with intermediate kisses. He went after Morgana and was tickling her and did the same to her. Pepper her cheeks and neck with growly kisses like soft dragon bites. Until Morgana turned her head and he kissed her lips. He pulled away smiling.
Their daughter climbed on top of them pressing kisses to both of them. The action changed the dynamic and brought them back to their senses. They got up gathered up the picnic and their daughter and headed back to the house.
They helped Hunith prepare diner and clean up afterwards. Both were leaning over their daughter's crib saying good night as they tucked her in and her eyelids closed with a beautiful smile on her face that reflected the smile her parents had on their faces.
Merlin got up and helped Morgana up who looked at him the same as she had this afternoon. The memory of their kiss was at the fore front of both their minds. It was hard to say who moved first as the kiss from the afternoon resumed. It was forever later when they broke apart only to come together again.
"I love you!" simultaneously came from both of them. A moment of surprise and then laughter as they reconnected at the lips. "Stay with me! Morgana, be my wife! We have a daughter. We can be a family."
Morgana's face lit up with the biggest smile. "My love, if you hadn't asked me I would have asked you. There is nothing I want more than to be with you forever!" She said passionately as she pressed herself against him and kissed him for all she was worth.
"Merlin smiled then picked her up and swung her around not letting go as they both laughed in joy. This time she did not bleed. Her physical wounds were healed.
