Chapter 398

Author's Note: I should be doing another chapter with Negan and the Saviors, getting David there and Dwight and Sherry back, but walkers' are demanding to come in. You aren't complaining are you? Of course, it'll take more than one chapter, so I may do the rest of the saviors and Negan. Keep up the suspense! Just like the show! But we'll see how it goes. Something may or may not happen in this chapter, and if it does I'll address it in another author's note at the end, and if it doesn't I'll address it in the chapter it does happen in. Alexanderia's POV:

Jewel and Rick both turned at the sound of the building falling and crashing through the gate, the walkers immediately crashing through the gate. Rick grabbed Jewel and both started to run. "Go, everybody get back!" he yelled as he fell , looking at the walkers coming through the wall.

"Rick!" Jewel yelled as she stabbed a walker in the head as Rick got up. "Go!" she yelled at everyone as she started to stab walkers and Rick starting to shoot.

"Everyone get back, get into your houses, go!" Rick yelled as he started to fire.

Tara, Rosita, Eugene and Mitch turned at the sound.

Tara and Rosita ran to help Tobin as he fell, leaving Eugene frozen and looking after them.

Mitch turned as he noticed Eugene wasn't with him. "Dude, come on!" he yelled at Eugene, noticing that he finally realized he should be running. "Here," he said as he pushed a machette in Eugene's hand.

I am not comfortable with this," Eugene told him.

"Are you comfortable with dying dude? I mean come on I'm barley eleven, you can't really expect me to watch both of our behinds," he said as he ran. He looked at him. "You do, dude, you are such a coward," Mitch said. "Here, just stand here," he said as he put him against a wall, running to help the others.

"Rick!" Deanna yelled as she started to run toward the walkers'.

"Deanna, go to your house!" Jewel yelled.

"You need to get back, Deanna," Rick told her.

"We need to get back!" Deanna yelled at them as she ran after them.

"Damn it, Deanna, go back!" Jewel said as she killed walkers'.

Morgan and Carol both started running, Carol falling, as Jillian ran over killing a walker, giving Morgan a chance to grab her, the three of them running into a house.

Joey fired at a walker seeing Maggie running from the walkers, her falling and firing her rifle. Joey ran toward her, firing. "Go Maggie!" he yelled as he noticed she was out of bullets. He kept shooting at the walkers as she went up to the ladder. Joey grabbed a knife running and stabbing a few walkers', including one that was grabbing at her leg. He pushed a walker off the ladder and shot it. When he was sure Maggie was up the ladder safely, he took advantage of the clearing of walkers' running toward Rick and the others'.

"Rick! Jewel!" Deanna yelled.

Mom!" Quinn yelled as she fired at a walker.

"Back up! Come on!" Jewel yelled as she stabbed walkers'.

Deanna put a pistol under a walkers chin and pulled the trigger and falling with the walker on top of her.

Mom!" Quinn yelled.

"Get back, go to your house!" Jewel yelled at her as both her and Rick ran to help Deanna. Jewel kicked a walker off of Deanna as Rick grabbed the older woman up

"Let's go, Oh God," Deanna moaned as she grabbed her side.

"Rick! Jewel!" Michonne yelled as she started to kill walkers with her sword.

"Good, you're safe. Come on!"Rick yelled at them.

Jewel took a breath as she saw Carl running out with Ron and Gabriel, joining them as they ran.

Joey looked at Carl. "You and I take the back," he told him.

Jewel and Michonne took either side of the other four of the group, taking out walkers.

"Ron, use your gun!" Joey yelled. "At walkers'," he warned.

Jewel looked at Rick as walkers' surrounded them before hearing gunshots coming from in front of them.

Mika and Jessie both stood in the middle of the street firing weapons at the walkers'. "Come on! I have Judith and Hope," Jessie told them.

They turned and ran toward the house as walkers filled the street. They ran into the house, Joey shooting at walkers' as everyone rushed in.

"Put her on the couch," Rick said referring to Deanna.

"We need to go to the second floor, higher ground," Jewel said.

"Upstairs, first room on the left,, come on," Jessie told them.

"We have to get that music off!" Mika yelled.

"Where the hell is that coming from?" Joey asked as Quinn helped Rick with her mother.

"Sam's room," Mika said.

"Which room?" Rick yelled.

"Go in there," Jessie said as she nodded to the room as she went into Sam's room, followed by Mika. "Sam, I need you to turn off the music and shut the blinds," Jessie said, although Mika had already unplugged the music.

"Because of the monsters?"

"You stay up here and you stay quiet. It's gonna be okay, okay?" Jessie said as Mika closed the blinds.

"Mom," Sam started to say.

"Honey, just try, just try. Just pretend OK. Just pretend that you're somebody whose not scared. Just try," Jessie told him.

"It's OK Sam, it's OK to be scared, it means you are alive," Mika said.

"Just try, OK?" Jessie said.

"OK," Sam said.

"OK, I love you," Jessie told Sam.

"Ilove you," he said as he looked across the hall to the bedroom.

"Mika, bring Judith and Hope into the same room and stay with them," Rick instructed.

"Alright," she said as she went out of the room. and Rick closed the door on Sam.

Glenn and Lexi's POV:

Glenn sighed. "The walkers are flooding in the East wall, that means the west wall will be the first to clear up. That's...how we get in," Glenn said as he looked at Enid staring at the destruction. "Just because the towers down, doesn't mean..." he started to say.

"It doesn't mean that it's hopeless," Lexi told her.

"People are still alive in there," Glenn told her.

"This is how it happens. And it always happens," Enid said.

Lexi and Glenn both looked at each other before Glenn spoke. "We're still here, our friends ar in there, people who care about you. My pregnant wife You just want to run away, be afraid, forget about this?Just go. But that's how you lose people, even after there gone," Glenn said as he walked away.

Lexi looked at her before following Glenn. "Do you think she'll follow us?"

Glenn sighed. "I don't know. I hope so, but if she doesn't she doesn't.

"Everyone's going to be alright, right?" Lexi asked.

Glenn looked at her. "You know I can't tell you that, Lexi. I'm not going to lie to you, we don't do that," he said. "But the more guns we have in there, the better."

Lexi nodded as she saw Axel, Emily and Nikki walked toward them. Lexi ran toward Axel and hugged him. "I'm so glad to see you," she told him.

"Glad to see you too," Axel said as he hugged her then shook Glenn's hand. "We've got a plan?"

"Not really, except to get inside," Glenn said. "Where's Jes? Did something to her?" he asked.

"Not to her. David took off in the middle of the night, with our car," Emily said. "he said he had been shot by some guys and that him and Summer got separated. I think he probably left her behind," Emily told her.

"Do you think she's dead?" Lexi asked.

"We're not thinking like that," Glenn said. "Right now let's focus on getting inside and help them," he said. "Then we'll go look for her."

Axel nodded. "Yeah, we need to help them, one problem at a time," he told him as he squeezed Lexi's shoulder.

Morgan and Carol's POV:

Jillian helped Carol sit down as she held her head. "Easy," she told her

"Let me take a look at that," Morgan told Carol. "See if there's anything to use as a bandage around here," he told Jillian.

"No, I'm fine," Carol said.

"You don't look fine, Carol," Jillian told her.

Morgan sighed. "You don't trust anybody, do you?"

"Some more than others," Carol answered as she chuckled. "I don't know Jillian enough to say I trust her. But you, you're dead last."

"At leas we're being honest," Morgan said.

Jillian looked between the two of them, not saying a word.

"I don't trust you, but I never thought you were lying," Carol said as she heard moaning from the walkers. "How is it out there?" she asked.

"Filling the streets," Morgan answered.

"Where is Jenny?"Jillian asked.

"She was at Quinn's with her daughters'," Morgan answered as he turned around and saw Carol trying to stand. "Hey it's probably a concussion, you should sit down before you fall down," he told her.

Jillian went over to her. "You do look a little green," she told the other woman.

"I'm OK," Carol told them.

"Carol, whatever we have to settle, it can wait, it has too," Morgan said.

"I don't even want to know,"Jillian told them. "But he's right,"she told Carol as he helped her sit down.

Carol nodded as she sat down.
