There had been no point setting his alarm, by six o'clock in the morning he was wide awake. He just lay there waiting for the minutes to slowly tick by, his hand absently stroking his crotch as he thought of the girl he was about to go running with. There was just something about her that he couldn't resist. Without a doubt she was beautiful but he had been around hundreds of beautiful girls and never felt unable to control himself, even the ones that had thrown themselves at him, begging him to take them to bed. There were many inherited traits that Uchiha men were lucky to possess, as well as their pride and strength they were all blessed with the good looks to steal the heart of any girl or girls they desired. He didn't know if he'd go as far as to want Mai's heart but he'd definitely settle for hearing her begging for his tongue between her gorgeous toned legs.

"Damn." He cursed under his breath, his hand was wet, he was getting over excited. He rolled into his side and pressed his hardness against Sakura's naked butt.

"What are you doing?" She grumbled, moving away from him.

Her rejection stung him enough to stop him from trying again.

Wearing a pair of black shorts and a dark blue top that showcased his impressive abs, Sasuke grabbed his shoes and went to find Mai. She was outside doing some stretches in an outfit that was deliciously tight. Her shorts were black like his but they weren't loose, they hugged her ass like a pair of man's hands, her bright pink top was low cut, her running shoes bright white and he could tell from the straps that her sports bra was also black. She also had a lightweight backpack fastened to her back, the colour identical to her top and judging from the outlines he guessed she had two bottles of water inside.

"Hey! Do you need to warm up first?" She asked him, keeping eye contact even as she bent over and touched her toes.

"No. I'm good to go." He replied, averting his gaze. He was so full of frustration he couldn't wait to get going.

"Okay, if you're sure you'll still be able to keep up." She winked and began jogging down the path.

He quickly caught up to her and they set a steady pace. The day was already promising to be a scorcher, the sun had only been up for a few hours and Sasuke could already feel it beating down on his skin, he was grateful for the strong gusts of cool wind that regularly caressed his sweaty face and pushed his short black hair out of his eyes.

"Let me know if I'm going to fast for you." She said in a voice that sounded like she was teasing him.

He laughed in response and made a point to speed up a little, every time she caught up to him he ran faster until they were full on sprinting down the path getting some strange looks from passers by. By the time they had ran two miles the ocean had disappeared behind grassy hills. A sign informed them that they were a mile away from the seaside town that Naruto's father was in charge of. They found themselves surrounded by greenery, running through an enormous woodland area. Trees towered above them, their branches mingling together, creating a shady haven from the increasingly hot sun. It was there that they gradually slowed down before coming to a complete stop.

For a while the only sounds they could hear were there own heavy breaths and the wind rustling leaves. Mai was struggling to catch her breath, she was a brilliant long distance runner not a sprinter. She didn't know why she had refused to fall behind him. She slumped down on to the grass and pulled out the bottles of water from her bag. Sasuke thanked her when she threw him his, which was sweet. He unscrewed the lid and gulped his down. The way he was standing in the light, in one of only a few places where the sun managed to break through the trees, was turning her on. His skin was glistening with sweat, his hand was on his hip, steadily observing her. He wasn't trying to undress her with his eyes or leering at her boobs, he looked more like he was trying to figure her out. She frowned at herself as she drank, reminding herself not to get too caught up in this guy.

"What do you do for a living, Mai?" He asked her in a voice smoother than coffee.

"I work in a bar. Why?" She raised her eyebrow just as she finished speaking, she always felt suspicious of anyone who wanted to know anything about her. One of the many negatives of her lifestyle.

"Just curious." He smiled.

She got to her feet, her relaxed body language becoming defensive. He made a mental note to be more careful with his questions in future, to perhaps be less direct she clearly hadn't appreciated his approach.

"I'm a cop." He blurted out, wincing. He didn't know why he said that, she didn't even ask. Maybe he was trying to clear the air, either that or he was trying to establish some sort of relationship between them even if it was just as friends.

"I know." She shrugged, taking a few steps towards him.

"You don't like cops?" He laughed.

She smiled, not because he was right but because he was completely wrong. She liked to be unreadable.

"Do you like your job, Sasuke?" She ignored his question and fired off one of her own, taking another step towards him. If she took one more her breasts would be pressed against his chest. He badly wanted her to take that step.

He met her eyes, ready to confidently tell her that he did but he knew that she wouldn't believe his lie. In fact he felt like he wanted to vent to her, to tell her that sometimes he just wanted to disappear and start a fresh and that Sarada was probably the only reason he hadn't.

"It's not what you thought it would be, huh? Must piss you off watching the guys you catch run free earning more than you."

Sasuke caught the flash of anger than ran through her shimmering green eyes and felt an overwhelming desire to find out who had wronged her enough to cause her to harbour anger towards them.

"Couldn't have said it better myself." He sighed, taking that last step forward.

They both gasped, surprised by how desperately their bodies were calling out for each other. Sasuke fingers were almost trembling with anticipation, he curled them into a fist and waited for her to give him a sign, anything to indicate that she was ready to be thrown to the floor and fucked.

"I think we should keep on going." She grinned, turning her head to the people that were slowly making their way towards them.

She took off without another word, leaving Sasuke standing their by himself in the middle of the woods with a huge erection.
