All Nightmare Long

Chapter 402

Author's Note: I guess I'm waiting at the 'mid season finale' to check on the Saviors' and David. Oh well, at least you won't get bored, now will you? Review please.

Tara, Eugene, Rosita and Mitch's POV:

Eugene pressed himself against the wall of the garage watching everyone fighting. He blinked as a walker approached him, Rosita, Tara and Mitch all shot at the walkers as Tara and Rosita grabbed Eugne as Mitch ran and started to open a garage, Rosita quickly helped him as the three went in and closed the door.

Mitch turned and sighed. "Of course, we'd have to wind up in the garage that doubled as the school," he said as he sighed and sat down.

Tara grinned at him. "Don't worry, we aren't going to make you do any school work," she assured him.

Rosita sat at a table and put her head in her hands, as Eugene grabbed a history book and lit up a cigarette lighter.

Tara looked out the garage window. "Most people got into there houses, so there's that."

Roista looked up. "You think this is it?"

Tara looked over at her. "What?"

"Do you think this place is over?" Rosita questioned.

Mitch stood up and went over and stood by the table. "We'll get through this, we always do."

"He's right. No, I think we got to earn it, all of us. Weather it's waiting, knowing if everyone's safe, dealing with that or fighting them. A place like this has to have a price right?" Tara asked.

"We haven't paid it already?" Rosita questioned.

Apparently not," Tara answered.

"We aren't the only ones who live here. The Alexandrian's have had it good for all this time, so it was bound to catch up to them. Unfortunately, we happen to be caught in the cross fire, but we're used to that," Mitch said.

Rosita looked at Mitch then at Tara. "Feels like Abraham's dead, that's what it feels like."

"He's not dead," Tara answered.

"How do. you know?" Rosita asked.

"If he's dead, then Summer's dead, and Jes, and dad, Sasha, and the others' and I'm not ready to admit that. So he's not dead," Mitch stated firmly.

"And I didn't see it, so it doesn't matter what it feels like, he isn't dead, and this place isn't over. Hey, we're here, so what are we going to do gorgeous?" Tara asked.

"Yeah, what are we going to do gorgeous?" Mitch asked with a smirk.

Rosita stood up from the table. ""We need to get in there, see what's happening on the other side. I got to shoot out the lock," she said.

"We shouldn't waste a bullet," Tara pointed out.

Eugene stood up. You won't need too. Lock picking is with in my skill set," he said.

Mitch grinned. "Well, get to it, Eugene," he told him. He then frowned. "You really do know how to pick a lock right? This isn't another cure thing?"

Eugene looked at him as he did it. "No it's not another cure thing," he said as he turned the knob and opened the door.

Beth's POV:

Beth peeked out the window, fingering her knife.

"I'd offer you a drink if I had any alcohol, but I'm an alcoholic, so I don't keep it around for temptation purposes. I'm not as strong as Jewel is," Noel told her.

"None of us need to be drinking right now, we all need to keep our witts about us," Beth said as she kept her eyes on the streets. "How is Liam?"

"He's doing alright, he's helping Heath cover windows, worried about Phoebe," Noel said.

Beth glanced at him then back to the window. "He isn't the only one worried about Phoebe, is he?" she asked curiously.

"She's a friend," Noel answered.

"Just a friend? Or you haven't told her that you like her more than just a friend," Beth countered.

Noel sighed. "She's about fifteen years younger than me, maybe more," Noel pointed out.

Beth looked at him. "My daddy was a good twenty or so older than my momma. Love sees no age, especially now a days. If we get out of here, you should tell her how you feel. You may be surprised that she may feel the same," she said. "I should try to get out there and see if I can help. Maggie is out there, she may need my help."

"You won't be any help to anyone if you wind up getting killed. I know you are worried, but you can't be any help to her or anyone else if you are dead," Noel pointed out. "None of you are used to just sitting around and waiting, are you?"

"No," Beth said. "I used to be like a lot of the Alexandrian's. My daddy, Maggie and I lived on a farm with other people, they're all gone now. We thought we were safe, but we weren't. Luckily Rick and the others were there and they helped us see what was out there."

"Rick is a good guy," Noel said.

"He is, he's family," Beth said. "We should move upstairs, " Beth said as she stood back from the indow.

Jessie's house POV:

Jewel ran out of the room where Deanna was and went to the top of the stairs. "Quinn, change places with me!" she yelled as she ran down the stairs to help the group as Quinn ran upstairs.

"There's just to many of them," Gabriel yelled.

Jewel looked over from her spot beside Rick to see walkers' breaking through the other door. She took out her long handled knife.

"Everyone get upstairs now!" Michonne yelled as she and Jewel took down walkers'.

"Back off! Back off!" Rick yelled as they backed to the stairs. "Use the couch to block the stairs!" he said as he moved the couch to block the stairs with Michonne and Jewel standing behind him. "I got this one, you get the one behind, and Jewel you get the one behind it. We're going to need at least three," Rick instructed as he stabbed the nearest walker around the couch. Jewel and Michonne both following his lead. Jewel and Michonne both dragged the walkers' upstairs to the bedrooms followed by Rick. He looked at Carl, who was standing at the top of the stairs. "You stay here, you see anyone squeezing through, you get me," he ordered as he dragged the walker inside the room. Michonne and Jewel already taking out weapons, and sharpening them.

"I gave Mika Hope, she's in the room with Judith. What can I do to help?" Joey asked.

"We're going to need bed sheets, enough for everybody," Rick told him.

Joey nodded at Gabriel as they both went to look for them.

"Bed sheets for what?" Jessie asked.

Jewel looked at her. "We're going to get out of here," she said.

"We all go to the armory," Rick instructed.

"How?" Jessie asked.

Jewel and Rick exchanged glances. "You aren't going to like it," Jewel said. "I don't like it," she said. "But it has to be done," Jewel added.

"What has to be done?"Ron asked.

"We're going to gut these things, cover ourselves with the insides, it'll make our smell, make them think we're like them. I've done it before. We stay calm, we don't draw attention, we can move right through them," Rick said.

"They're in the house, they're making noise, more are coming," Michonne said.

Gabrielle looks like he's going to throw up as they gut the walkers'.

"This is our chance of surviving, our only chance of surviving," Jewel said as she looked up.

"Anyone that stays here is gonna die," Rick told them point blank.

"What about Deanna?" Gabrielle asked.

Michonne, Rick and Jewel looked at each other as they continued working.

"Whose going to convince Quinn to leave?" Joey asked.

"She's a mother, she'll leave," Jewel answered. "Deanna will make her leave," she said.

"You're going to take Judith and Hope out there? You're going to make them wear the guts?" Ron asked.

Joey looked at him, resisting the urge to hit him. "We'll carry them under our sheets."

"What if they cry? The noise will draw attention to us," Ron said.

Jewel stopped with her knife in mid air and looked at him. "You aren't suggesting that we leave either of them here, do you? I have more confidence in them then I do in you or Sam making it out there. They've been out there before," she pointed out. "Jessie, you need to talk to Sam, make him understand what is going on," she told her.

"I will," Jessie told her.

"Do you want me to go get Mika?" Joey questioned.

"Yeah, give me a sheet, I'll go first," Jewel said.

"Put Hope's carrier on Mika before we do her," Rick said. "She'll carry him."
