All Nightmare Long
Chapter 406
Author's Note: I hate when characters' won't do what you want and they just do what they want. I tried to convince Jes to stay in the back of the truck, but that's just not Jes. She wants to be in the action. Well this will make things interesting. I know there wasn't a panel in the front of the truck, but for this let's pretend there is. Review please.
Dayl, Abraham, Sasha and Jes's POV:
Daryl slowed down the truck as he saw several bikers in front of them.
"Daryl," Sasha said.
"Yeah I see," Daryl answered.
"What in the holy shit?" Abraham asked. "Jes we got trouble," he said as pulled the partition up.
Jes looked out. "Great," she said sarcastically.
"Why don't you come on out, join us in the road?" the lead biker said.
Daryl glanced at the others as everyone as he opened the door and they got out.
"That's great, it's going well right out of the gate. Now step two, hand over your weapons," the same man said.
Daryl looked at them. "Why should we?"
"Well there not yours," the man said.
Jes crossed her arms and looked at him. "They certainly don't belong to you," she told him
"Well it belongs to our boss," the man said.
"Who is that?" Sasha asked.
The man took a step forward. "Your property now belongs to Negan. If you can get your hands on a tanker, your people our person wants to know," he said as he walked closer."So let's get those side arms, shall we?" he asked as he motioned with his hands. "Right now."
Daryl gave it to him, while giving him a dirty look. "Thank you," going to sasha. "Thank you," he said as he took her gun and she huffed. He went and stood in front of Jes and looked at her. "Come on sweetheart don't make this any harder then it needs to be," he told her.
"Don't call me sweetheart," Jes hissed. "I don't have a side arm, don't like them. Seriously, does it look like I'm hiding anything?" she asked as she looked down to her tight jeans, and sleeveless tank top. She turned around, doing a complete 360 then looked at him.
The man looked at her before moving to Abraham. "If you have to eat shit, best not to nibble. Bite, chew, swallow, repeat, it goes quicker," the man told him. Abraham hands it over without a word. "Thank you," the man mouths and smirks as he walked away.
""Who are you people?" Sasha asked.
The man turned around and looked at them. "I get the curiousity, but we have questions ourselves, and we'll be the ones asking them while we drive you back to wherever it is that you call home. Take a gander at where you hang your hats. First though, your shit. What have you got for us?"
"Yeah, you just took it," Daryl said.
Jes looked at him. "You're more then welcome to go toward the walkers we are running from, that would save us the problem of killing you."
The man laughed. "Oh Negan is going to love that attitude, maybe even try to break you of it."
"Oh, better men have tried then a chicken shit who sends out little minions to do there dirty work for them. And as you can see, I'm still here, and they're not," Jes told him.
"Shut up," Abraham hissed at her.
"He's got a good point. Come on, I mean, can we not okay? There's more, there's always more," the man said as he sighed. "T, take my man to the back of the truck, start inside the back bumper, work your way to the front.
Another man gets off of his bike, going over to Daryl and pushed him. "Go," he ordered.
Abraham looked at Sasha and Jes.
"Bite, chew, swallow repeat," the lead savior repeated.
"Whose Negan?" Abraham bellowed.
The man held up the gun at Abraham, causing both Sasha and Jes to stiffen. "Ding Dong, Hell's Bells," the man sing songed. "Usually we introduce ourselves by just popping on of you right off the bat but you seem like reasonable people. You're sporting dress blues for Christ sake. And, like I said, we're gonna drive you back to where you were. I mean, do you know how awkward it is carpooling with someone whose friend you just killed? OOF. But I told you not to ask any questions and then what does this ginger do? So that's that. I don't want you to get the wrong impression of me," he said as the hammer clicked.
Jes moved slightly over to stand in front of Abraham. "I get that you think you have to do this, to show that you're in control. You have the guns, you have the numbers, and you have our friend in the back. So killing one of us, or two of us, that'll just piss the rest of us off. And, we're not really the kind you want to piss off, it's better to keep us on your good side. I mean, I have to admit, that robbing us isn't the best way to get us on your good side, but we can over look that. Killing on of us, well that's not something we can overlook, something I can't overlook," she told him as she glared at the man.
"She's right, you don't have to do this," Sasha said.
"Would you both shut up?" Abraham asked as the man took out another gun.
"I'm talking to the man," Sasha said.
"No, you're not," both the man and Jes said. The man looked at Jes. "I think you need to meet with Negan, he's going to love breaking you," the man said.
"Like I said, still here, others' aren't. Been dealing with men with God complexes way before this shit started. Your man Negan, he is just a man, he puts on his pants just like I do. One leg at a time," she said.
The man laughed as he put down the guns. "I'm not going to kill you. Wait, wait, you know what, yes I am," he said as he raised the guns again. No one had any chance to react before a big explosion came, knocking Abraham, Jes and Sasha down.
Daryl came from behind the truck. "Son of a Bitch was tougher then he looked," he said as he looked at the exploded men and holding onto the rocket launcher.
Sasha, Abraham and Jes all got up. Ringing in there ears from the explosion.
"Damn, I wish I had done that,"Jes said with a smirk.
Sasha saw a cut on Daryl's back. "Did he cut you?"
"A little. What a bunch of ass holes,"he said.
Sasha held a rag to Daryl's back. "Let's get you fixed up back at home.
"Yes ma'am," Daryl said.
"Nibble on that," Abraham hissed at the burning head of the leader.
Carol, Morgan and Mar's POV:
Carol looked at Morgan than to the Wolf. "I will kill you to kill him because I don't want anyone else to die," she said.
"And, you aren't going to kill her without killing me," Mar said as she pointed the gun at Morgan.
"You should kill me but you're all going to die. You don't belong here," the Wolf said.
"You tell me you're sure, you tell me you know what'll happen, how it will go. You step aside, I'm not asking you again," Carol said.
Morgan glanced at Mar and Carol before taking a step, and used his stick to knock Mar's gun out of her hand, then quickly tripping her with the stick then turning the stick to knock Carol's knife out of her hand. Carol trying to grab his stick but Morgan pushed her down. Carol tried to grab the knife from the ground, but Morgan used the stick to knock both the gun and knife out of the reach out of them. Morgan slammed Carol down the floor, knocking her out.
"Carol!" Mar yelled as she went over to her as both her and Morgan turned there back to the wolf. The wolf used Morgan's stick, knocking both of them out.
"No!" Denise yelled as she went over to them, the wolf pointing the knife at her. He used the knife to undo his ropes.
"Please, please, don't," Denise begged.
"Don't what?" the Wolf asked.
"Don't kill them. You said they were already dead, you said I was. You don't need to kill us, just let us die," Denise said.
The wolf stood up and pushed Denise to the wall.
"You are so full of shit," Denise said.
The wolf laughed. "You know what I like about people?" he asked.
Denise didn't have a chance to answer as she saw Tara, Eugene, Rosita and Mitch coming in with guns pointed at them.
"Tara,"Denise said.
The Wolf turned and put the knife to Denise's throat. "Just be still," the wolf told her.
"Don't,"Denise said.
"Mom," Mitch said as he stepped forward.
"Don't," he warned. "Lower the guns," he ordered as he pushed the knife closer to Denise's throat. "Lower the guns," he ordered as he watched them put them down as well as Eugene's machete. "Good, slide them over, I want them. Kid, do it, then you can go by your mom."
Mitch looked at Tara and Rosita, seeing them nod slowly. He pushed them over.
"You don't need her," Tara said.
"No, I don't, back, back," the Wolf ordered as he walked grabbed the gun and put it to Denise's head.
Mitch went over to Mar then looked at the wolf. "Take me," Mitch said as he went in front of him.
"Mitch," Rosita warned.
The Wolf looked at him."I got her," he said.
"I'm smaller, faster, and I can get in and out of places quicker. She's a doctor, they need her," Mitch explained.
"No, take me, leave him here," Denise said.
The Wolf looked at Mitch. "I'll take both of you," he said.
"You don't need him," Denise said.
"He's small," the Wolf said. "Open the door, kid. You do anything and she dies, you got it?"
"Yeah, I got it," Mitch said as he opened the door.
"You're not going to make it out there," Tara said.
"We'll see," the wolf said as he backed out the door.
"We don't do things alone," Mitch mouthed to them as he went with Denise and the wolf.
