Chapter 1: What is Going on? ~Percy POV

It wasn't exactly much of my business, but I was curious to see what that guy was doing, standing at the bend of the river, where the current flowed the fastest.

He had messy jet black hair with a few wisps of white, a "Mediterranean" complexion, and sea-green eyes.

"Hey!" I called.

He looked at me, and I realized he had a slight amount of wrinkles under his eyes as if he spent most of his time in the sun, "Perseus Jackson," I flinched when he said my real name, no one really said my full name. "Come here."

I didn't know this guy, but I felt a connection to him. I willingly went over to him, "Who are you?" I asked, realizing my tone was a little rude.

"Percy, really? You don't know me?" The guy chuckled.

"No, I don't, but you seem familiar," I admitted.

The guy laughed at me, which I had no clue why he was.

"What's so funny?" I demanded.

"Son, you really don't know me?"

"No! Why would I know you?" I shouted.

"Perseus, calm down. I guess I shouldn't warn you," The guy absently said.

"What do you mean, 'I shouldn't warn you'?" I asked.

"You wouldn't understand, Percy. If you can't remember me, well it's best not to put you into shock," The guy explained.

"But I want to know! I need to know!" I screamed.

Suddenly the world went black before the guy could respond. I wanted to know more about this "warning business" but I guess it's no problem.

I woke up in a bunk, with Tyson cleaning. How was I at a river then at camp? This makes no sense whatsoever.

"Morning, Tyson," I said groggily.

"Brother, you're awake!" He shouted and dropped a pile of wrappers.

"Tyson, no!" I shouted too late as Tyson picked me up out of my bed and squeezed me.

"You're awake! Also, brother Mr. Pony needs you!" Tyson yelled.

"Gr-great, p-put me down," I managed.

Tyson reluctantly put me down on the floor.

"Thank you," I said to Tyson as I changed into the camp t-shirt and blue jeans. "I'll be back, just wait here, well, actually you can leave, but find me after I meet with Chiron."

I raced out of my cabin and up to the Big House. I reached the door and opened it. Chiron was sitting in his fake wheelchair next to the fireplace.

"Percy, I'm glad the message got to you," Chiron said.

"Yeah, sure, um, why did you want me to meet you here?" I asked.

"Oh, right. Well, we have a problem, two demi-gods can't find camp and we need you, Annabeth, and Groover to get them. They've been being attacked by monsters every day since they started school, and they need your guys' help," Chiron explained.

"Two? Just like Bianca and Nico?"

"Sort of, Annabeth can fill you in when you get up to her," Chiron said.

"Seriously, you won't go any further into detail of who we're after or what kind of trouble?" I asked.

"Sorry, Percy, but I shouldn't," Chiron said.

Just like the guy in my dream. He said the same thing, except he had a reason, Chiron doesn't, I thought. "Yeah okay, well then I should probably hurry up so we can get to this school that I have no idea where it is," I snapped.

"Percy, the school is The Wilderness School," Chiron said.

"The same one Piper, Leo, and Jason went to?" I asked.

"Yes, Percy, now hurry up," Chiron urged.

"Yes, sir," I joked and hurried to meet up with Annabeth and Grover.

"Finally!" Annabeth said once I met up with them, "How long does it take you to get up, get dressed, go talk with Chiron and get over here?"

"I was having a weird dream!" I protested.

"Weird dream? You guys are the definition of weird dreams," Grover said.

"Thanks a lot, Grover," I replied.

"What kind of dream?" Annabeth asked.

I explained my dream to them. From the guy standing at the river and when he was saying that he shouldn't warn me about something. I also told them that I couldn't remember who he was.

"So, you don't know him? Even though he said 'son'?" Annabeth asked.

"Duh, I just told you this!" I said.

"Black hair? Sea green eyes? Sounds like you, Percy," Grover said.

"Not really," I said.

"He sounds like Poseidon," Annabeth offered.

"Wait, my dad? He...oh he came to me in my dream...Gods of Olympus I forgot my own father?" I screamed.

"Wow, Percy," Grover said.

"Let's get going, we're wasting time," Annabeth urged.

"Right, let's go," I agreed.

We hurried up Half-Blood hill and entered the camp van. Argus was there, waiting. He drove us through New York and took us to Buffalo, New York. I don't know why we were here since the Wilderness School wasn't here. It was in Nevada.

"Argus, why are we here?" Annabeth asked.

He looked at us and shrugged.

"Uh, is the Wilderness School here?" Grover asked.

Argus nodded and parked in a school parking lot.

We left the van and Argus drove away, leaving Grover, Annabeth, and myself in a dark parking lot. I wanted to uncap Riptide, but if there are any demi-gods around or any mortal able to see through the Mist, they'll be surprised, worried, and scared.

"So we just go in?" I ventured.

"Why not? The only thing that could go wrong, is well, everything," Annabeth said.

"Yup, can we not die though?" Grover whined.

"Calm down, Grover, no one's going to die," Annabeth promised.

"How could you be sure, Annabeth? Every time we go to fetch new demi-gods we have problems!" Grover exclaimed.

"Grover, I promise no one will die," I promised, "Now, let's get going, this parking lot is giving me the creeps."
