That Saturday night the bar was heaving, drink orders where coming on from all directions, fights were breaking out and someone had been sick in the doorway. Mai calmly handled every situation that was thrown at her until eventually things calmed down just before midnight. She made herself a gin and tonic to take with her outside the fire escape for a quick breather but when she heard her staff gossiping away like excited teenage girls she had to see what all the fuss was about.

"He's gorgeous! I'm going to give him my number." The small brunette Hana announced.

"Why should you get to give him your number? I saw him first!" Mori the taller of the two girls argued.

"Who are you two on about?" Mai asked, placing her drink down to put her hair into a messy bun.

"At the end of the bar. Look!" Hana whispered, pointing out the very attractive man drinking a beer opposite them.

If it was anyone else then Mai probably would have agreed with them that yes he was gorgeous but because she knew him, she knew that his unexpected appearance was all part of a game he was playing. Sasuke coming to the bar was not a good idea.

"Just give him both of your numbers. Watch the bar, I need to go out for a bit." Mai concluded loud enough for Sasuke to hear, picked up her drink and headed for the back door. She didn't stop there to have her break, she kept on walking until she spotted his car. He joined her there not long after, looking quite pleased with himself.

"You can't be here." She bluntly told him.

"Kind of like you shouldn't have been at my house?" He grinned, bending down to kiss her.

She moved her face away, fighting back the urge to give him a slap for putting himself in danger. What if Hidan had been with her in the bar? She realised that as much as she was enjoying playing around with him, she had no choice but to break things off.

"Listen-"

"A lot of cameras in there. You must have a lot of dodgy people in your bar, Mai." He said, cutting her off.

The way he spoke implied he knew exactly what went on in her bar but he was alone and didn't have a warrant, she wasn't sure what he wanted from her. It wasn't like she was going to tell him the truth. She turned and walked back to the bar, confident that he was just bluffing by showing up there. No one who knew about Akatsuki was brave enough to visit one of their favourite hang outs, even a cop.

Pulling the heavy fire escape door behind her with a bang, she realised something was missing. The keys normally attached to her belt were no longer there, she was sure she had them before Sasuke appeared but he'd stunned her enough that she wasn't aware of having them after. Misplacing them wasn't an option, she needed them to lock up the bar. Just as she ran back to the office to check there every light in the building began to shut off as did the red blinking lights on top of the cameras.

"Mai!" The girls called her, unsure what they should do.

"There's some candles behind the bar, light as many as you can." She called back, confident that some candles would be enough until she could get the lights back on and the customers that were still there were drunk enough that they didn't mind a power cut.

The fuse box was in a locked cupboard outside the front of the building but of course she needed her keys. She hated asking for help but in this case she decided it was best just to call Hidan. Taking a deep breath, she stopped to think where she had left her phone. Just as she remembered it was in her bag under the desk she heard footsteps. They were too heavy to be one of the girls.

Calmly, her hand sought out Hidan's chair and from there locating the large hunting knife he had in the top left drawer in the desk was easy. The office door closed and the click of the lock followed. Adrenaline started coursing through her veins, her heart thumping wildly in her chest. When a small light appeared she held her breath. It shone on her and then on the other person in the room. Sasuke. He was using the light on his phone to find her in the pitch black room. Once she was within arms reach he shoved his phone back into his pocket and started to remove her clothes. The knife dropped to the floor and a grin appeared on her face.

He took his time undressing her, kissing every bit of skin he revealed until she was completely naked in front of him. He couldn't see her but his hands told him how beautiful she was. One of his hands cupped her cheek, guiding her to his hungry lips, the other made its way to her heat. They both moaned when his fingers entered her for the first time. Then whilst Mai enjoyed his touch, Sasuke focused on the way her body spoke to him. He needed to know exactly where she liked it, how much pressure and for how long. To his surprise, she made it easy for him. She'd kiss him back harder or clutch the back of his neck so that he could kiss her harder when he got it right. When he made her orgasm it felt that good for him too that he was on the edge without her even touching his crotch once.

She pulled him down to the floor with her and he buried his face in the side of her neck.

"Mai." He breathed, sucking softly on her skin. He knew he couldn't mark her, not yet.

"Sasuke." She responded, with an undertone of urgency.

She ran her nails over his shoulders, digging them in as he pushed inside her. He knew he should focus on something else, anything at all to try and last longer but he couldn't, he was consumed by everything about her. Her smell, her touch, the sounds she made was all he knew at that moment. Being connected to her made him feel whole.

There was no need to focus this time, his body synced with hers and they moved perfectly together. When she wanted him deeper he just knew, she clutched his spiky hair between her fingers as he delivered each thrust with the right amount of force. As she drew nearer to her climax she added her teeth to the kiss, nipping his bottom lip so he sped up, already aware what she needed. It was amazing. After they came together he collapsed onto the carpet beside her and pulled her into his arms, they were both panting and covered in sweat but it was one of the most beautiful moments he had ever experienced.

They wouldn't have long together, it was only a matter of time before a member of staff came looking for their boss so Sasuke gave her one last kiss before pulling his clothes back on. There wasn't a single word exchanged but the silence wasn't an uncomfortable one. It was like they had already had a long conversation using their bodies and anything else would have been pointless.
