Back at Subway Line 2, the guard drove the train back to the underground subway yard. After parking it, two men showed up. One is the manager of subway line 2 named Rodney while the other one is a guard named Gerry.
"What's the situation here?" Rodney asked
"It happened again" The guard named Beardo replied.
"What? but how?...Who is the train driver last night?" Rodney asked Gerry.
"It was Pete" Gerry's eyes suddenly widened "No, no don't tell me Pete disappeared as well!" He said.
"Where was this train car when you found it?" Rodney asked.
"It was halfway between Bass station and Gaffer station" Beardo replied.
"Did you find anything on the train? any clues?" Rodney asked.
"I did find some things" Beardo said, he then pulled out a green bag with stripes. They all decided to check out the bag, they found three cans of hairspray, a purse and a hairbrush.
"Is this everything you found?" Rodney asked
"Yep, other than that, the train is really empty, like nobody even boarded it" Beardo replied.
"Sh*t, not only it took Pete, it obviously took passengers who boarded the train late night, poor them" Gerry said sadly.
"Are you sure that they didn't just walked from the train to the station?" Rodney asked.
"I was monitoring the CCTV cameras on the line 2 stations last night, the last time someone came out from a station is somewhere on 11:20 pm which is 10 minutes before the last train ride starts" Gerry explained. "But wait, what if they just exited through here in the subway yard?, Pete could've exited here" He asked
"But what about the passengers? They would obviously exit through the stations even if it was a power outrage, it would take them too long to walk to the subway yard without a train" Rodney explained.
"Aren't subway gates closed by like 12 in the morning?" Beardo asked.
"Did you see any person who went to the station itself and found out that the gate were already closed?" Rodney asked Gerry
"Nope, I monitored the CCTVs for 2 more hours after the gates closed, there was not a single person I saw went up to the station" Gerry replied.
"What about the person who monitors the CCTV on the station platforms?" Beardo asked.
"You mean Leonard? I haven't seen him since last night but I just checked the CCTV footages a while ago, and I never saw the train stop at the station nor I have seen people going to the station, up the platform" Gerry said.
"Oh man, This doesn't make any sense! The last time this happened was a year ago, I think I'm sensing a pattern here" Rodney said.
"We have to send investigators here, and I don't think a person would do this, I mean a person just disappearing without a trace? I feel like it something supernatural is going on here" Beardo said.
"Look, I'll report this immediately, but we should investigate this as well, all tracks in this subway station are all connected via Central Station, In the mean time we should get ready, it will be 6:00am soon and it will be very busy" Rodney said.
Wawanakwa Police Department, 7:30am
The Head of the Department, Officer Hatchet is just sitting in his office when there was a knock on his door.
"What is it?" He asked.
The Door opened, revealing another police officer named Sanders.
"Officer Hatchet, there has been another report regarding disapearances in the Subway Station" Sanders replied
"Not again, when did this happen?" Hatchet asked.
"Just a few hours ago, they found an unparked train car in between Bass and Gaffer station in Line 2" Sanders reported.
Officer Hatchet stood up.
"Get them here now, this case hasn't been cracked for years now" Hatchet said
"Yes sir" Sanders replied, before walking out.
-20 Minutes Later-
Rodney is now sitting on a chair, talking to Officer Hatchet.
"How many people do you think are missing?" Hatchet asked.
"We assumed that atleast 2 people were missing, one is the train driver and another one is probably the owner of the bag we found" Rodney replied. Hatchet then checked his computer.
"Well it seems that the owner of the bag you found belong to a woman named Anne Maria...and according to her profile, she seems to be a chick girl" Hatchet explained. Rodney raised an eyebrow.
"There were many complains about her, seducing people to have "fun" with her and dumping them right after...which means she could possibly be with another man the night she disapeared" Hatchet explained. Rodney just sighed.
"Look, I will send down investigators to investigate and guard during the night, and we will install CCTV cameras around the tunnel area" Hatchet said.
"But Officer this has been happening for 3 years now, we already lost at least 5 people when this started, and if you think about it, there must be a reason how this started and the fact that this only happens once a year is a mystery, the public hasn't been informed about this yet but there are already rumors spreading around, saying that the subway is haunted." Rodney stated.
"I know, and we're trying our best to crack this code, Look we'll send our best officers Macarthur and Sanders to guard and investigate later on, I'll also send a few other guards, they will all be having cameras to document everything incase something happens...Do you also think there is a pattern regarding the dates of the disappearances?" Hatchet asked.
"The only pattern I can see is that this happens once every year, but at random dates" Rodney replied.
"We promise we will solve this case A.S.A.P. but we have to inform the public regarding the disappearance of atleast 2 people" Hatchet said..Rodney just nodded.
7-11 Convenience Store, 1:00pm
3 Buddies from a road trip just came in the convenience store. One is a blonde guy named Geoff Danny, another is a blonde woman named Bridgette Fairlie and the other is a big black guy named DJ Bennett.
"Woohoo! Finally we're back in Wawanakwa, man that road trip was awesome!" Geoff cheered.
"It sure was, but now I just wanna lay all day in bed" DJ said, grabbing chips.
"Me too, especially since I need to go back to the hardware store later" Bridgette stated.
"What for?" Geoff asked.
"I'm gonna meet another friend, I will return some private stuff he needs for reasons" Bridgette explained.
"Okay but I think you should take the bus or the taxi right after, didn't you guys hear the news? Someone disappeared in the subway" DJ stated, the other two we're shocked.
"What?! That's creepy, I think the rumors regarding the haunted subway might be true" Bridgette said.
"I know right! I feel bad for those people who disappeared, which is why I will never take the subway at night" Geoff said. The person at the cashier suddenly heard their conversation. The cashier is an Asian woman named Kitty
"I know one of those people who disappeared" The person said.
"Wait you do?" Geoff asked.
"Yep, his name is actually Ezekiel but I like to call him Zeke and I'm not talking about this recent news, I'm talking about 3 years ago" Kitty replied.
"Wait, this has been happening for 3 years?" Bridgette asked.
"How did you know he disappeared in the subway?" DJ asked.
"He told me, when he entered the store at around 11 in the evening, he told me he'll go to Central Station to get his new job as a food vendor, after that I never saw him come back to this store so I assumed that he is just really busy working at Central Station, so one day I tried to visit him but I never saw him at the station, I asked a person about a guy named Ezekiel working as a street vendor, He then responded that he never appeared in the station, a few weeks after, the rumors about the subway started spreading " Kitty explained, shocking the three people.
"Wow, I'm sorry about Zeke" Bridgette said
"It's alright" Kitty responded.
"What do you think happened to him?" DJ asked.
"The thing is...That night Zeke wasn't himself, it seems like someone was watching him...I would also point out that there is one person who held a grudge for him...so in my theory, there is someone or something vengeful that is on the subway, which could be the reason for the disappearances happening this past 3 years. But that's just a theory, who knows what happened to him...but that's only what I know, I'm not sure how many people disappeared this 3 years" Kitty explained.
"Oh man, That's creepy, you think there is a terrorist or serial killer hiding in the subway?" DJ asked, a bit creeped out.
"Not sure, I mean based on the news this morning, there was no trace...it's like they disappeared for no reason...and based on the rumors people only disappear when you ride the last train ride of the night, during the morning you feel safe but late night it feels like someone is watching you" Kitty said, a bit creeped out. A text notification was heard, it came from Bridgette's phone.
"Who texted you?" Geoff asked.
"It's from Courtney, she wants to see me at her office in 3 hours" Bridgette replied.
"How is Courtney doing by the way? Especially after the whole issue with Duncan and Gwen?" DJ asked.
"Fine so far, she still has mental breakdowns twice a week, but she's trying her best to keep it under control" Bridgette said.
"Those three better talk to each other, I know their relationship was toxic but I still see some second chances" DJ said. Geoff just nodded, Bridgette just sighed.
Mclean Building, 4:05 pm
Courtney Barlow is just sitting at a couch on the lobby area when she saw her friend Bridgette enter the building.
"Hey Bridgette!" Courtney greeted her with a smile. Bridgette waved back and approached her.
"So how was the road trip?" Courtney asked.
"It was awesome and tiring" Bridgette replied "I should ask you, how are you so far?" She asked. Courtney just sighed.
"Well...I'm trying to keep it together, I just don't wanna talk about him" She replied.
"Look Courtney...I know it's hard to move on but it would be better if you guys talk" Bridgette said, Courtney tried to think about it. "Come on Court, you three we're like pods that never separated ever since HighSchool, you can't possibly put those years of friendship down the drain" Bridgette added.
"I know, look I'll find a way to communicate with them..even if it's hard to do that..I think I just need more time to get myself together" Courtney explained, she then looked at her watch "Well, my work shift just ended...so wanna grab some coffee?" She asked with a smile.
"You bet I am" Bridgette said, the both then exited the building.
Subway Line 3, 5:00pm
There was a guard installing a CCTV Camera on the tunnel area.
"HEY!" A guard named MacArthur yelled, startling the other guard. MacArthur then proceeded to laugh afterwards.
"Cut it out, you scared me" The guard named Gordon said.
"What? You scared? Hehe It's not even late at night" MacArthur said.
"Whatever, Night or not, The subway is still not safe...I have a feeling there is a serial killer here, hiding where no one can see him/her" Gordon said
"Duh, which is why we hide so that no one can see us, which is why we are on night guard duty" MacArthur said.
"Wait, you and Sanders are gonna guard Line 1, while I will guard both Lines 2 and 3?" Gordon asked.
"Nope, just Line 2, Officer Hatchet is still assigning who will guard Line 3, if he can't find any, then you will guard both" MacArthur said then chuckled a bit afterwards.
"That's a bit unfair" Gordon said.
"Hey! Line 1 is the longest out of the 3, it has 15 stations in it, that's more than Line 2 and 3 stations combined...and if we see the serial killer, we'll kick his ass" MacArthur said.
W Hardware Store, 11:00pm
A guy at the entrance is waiting for someone, the guy's name is Trent McCord. He then saw what he was waiting for.
"Hey Trent!" Bridgette greeted.
"Hey!" Trent greeted back. "You got it?" He asked.
"Yep!" She said, she then pulled out a few albums from her pocket bag. "Here you go!" She added.
"Thanks!" He said grabbing his albums.
"So...where are you going now?" She asked.
"Oh, I'm going back to my hometown, I'm gonna stay at a dorm with my friends" Trent then grabbed a necklace from his pocket "Hey can you do me a favor?...Can you please return this necklace to Gwen, if you do see her, please tell her that I hope she finds the one for her" He said this while giving the necklace to Bridgette.
"Oh...sure I will, I guess we won't be seeing you for so long" Bridgette said.
"Yep, Bye Bridgette, tell the others as well I said bye, and stay safe" Trent said.
"Stay safe as well" Bridgette said.
Amazon Station, Line 1, 11:18pm
A road was closed around the area, forcing Bridgette to take the subway even if she knows the dangers of it, she just needs to be quick and aware of her surroundings to get home safely.
She reached the platform, there were 3 people also waiting for the train, she was a bit relieved since she's not alone on the subway. The train arrived and there were 3 more people on the train. 4 stations have passed, a few more people boarded the train, but as soon as the train reached Wawanakwa Central Station, all the people left the train except for Bridgette, she was hoping that some people will board the train but there was none, leaving her alone on the empty train. She needs to pass 7 more stations before reaching her station, and the loneliness is making her anxious.
3 stations have passed but nobody boarded the train, she was becoming nervous every second, she then saw a guard(Sanders) guarding the area, she was a bit relieved when she saw her. 3 stations has passed and just like before, nobody boarded the train, she was starting to calm down, the train then arrived at the 6th station, the doors opened and just like before there was no person in the station. Suddenly, the lights around the area started to flicker, Bridgette was a bit startled, but as the flickering continues, she caught a glimpse of a man in a hoodie, making her stand up from her seat. She had no idea what she just saw, especially the fact that the lights we're flickering. The doors closed and the train left, she is starting to get nervous, she just thought that she saw a ghost or something or she was just hallucinating, either way she just wanted the train to stop at her station, so that she can get out of there asap. She was getting nervous every second, Suddenly the lights on the train started to flicker, the flickering made her see a man in a hoodie again, causing her to scream and fall out of her seat. 10 seconds later, the train reacher her station, Victory Station. Bridgette immediately exited the train and dashed up the stairs. She reached the main station area, she immediately grabbed her smart card to exit the station when suddenly, the lights on the station went out. She screamed, but she could still see the light from the exit, she tried to avoid the other objects on the dark. She is only a few feet away from reaching the stairs to the exit when suddenly a hand grabbed her foot, bringing her to the ground. The hand started to drag her across the floor, Bridgette just screamed until she noticed a baseball bat lying on the ground, she beated the hand with it until the hand finally let go of her. Bridgette immediately ran up the stairs until she reached the street level. She continue to ran until she bumped into a police officer.
"Woah, Ma'am are you alright?" The policemen asked, but Bridgette couldn't answer, she was just terrified of what happened, all she can do is point to the entrance of the station. The policemen along with another one ran to the station. Another one just escorted Bridgette to the police car.

"Oh man! Bridge talk to me, Are you alright? What happened?" Geoff asked, scared.
"I saw someone...someone grabbed me" Bridgette replied, still shaking. Geoff proceeded to hug her and comfort her.
Courtney heard the news and also entered the building. She saw Bridgette and approached her.
"Oh my Gosh! What happened?" Courtney asked, worried.
"...I shouldn't have taken the subway..." Bridgette said, terrified. Geoff and Courtney got worried looks on their faces.
Hatchet's Office
"What happened when you saw her?" Hatchet asked.
"She was just running like someone is after her" The policemen named Devin said.
"What station did she came out of?" He asked.
"Victory station, Ryan and Shawn checked the station, the lights were off but there was no other clues found. She is actually mumbling that someone grabbed her" Devin explained. Hatchet eyes widened.
"That's a line 1 station, MacArthur and Sanders are guarding it, did they know this happened?" Hatchet asked. Devin shook his head in an "I don't know" situation.
There was then a knock on the door.
"What is it?" Hatchet asked. The door opened revealing a policewoman named Jasmine.
"Sir, we couldn't contact MacArthur, Sanders and Gordon at the moment" She said. Devin and Hatchet eyes widened.
