All Nightmare Long

Chapter 410

Author's Note: Walker's, lot's and lot's of Walter's. This is getting to the good part. Before it gets to heartbreaking parts that I am going to put Jick's through. Then horrible, horrible Negan. But, Jewel and Jessie are around, Negan isn't going to get off so easy. Review please.

Glenn and Lexi's POV:

Glenn looked around and at the two teenagers, and then cleared his throat. "I want you two to stay put," he told Enid and Lexi.

Lexi and Enid both looked at each other. "What? I can handle myself, you said that yourself," Enid said.

"You know that I'm not going to let you go alone, so don't even try," Lexi said.

Glenn looked at Enid. "I didn't want you to give up on this place, on these people, to be afraid," he told her.

"You were right, so I'm here now and I'm going out there and I'm helping you, both of you. We have to get her off that platform. She's hurt, she needs help getting over the wall. I can climb up the gate, Lexi can tie the ropes, you can distract them. We do it together. I'm just going to follow you anyway. You keep looking for the Bible glock, I'll make her something to climb down with. You want to help me?" she asked Lexi as she walked away from the two of them.

Lexi looked at Glenn. "She's one of us now," she said. "We're both going with you, weather you like it or not," she said as she walked away.

Glenn looked at both of them. "OK," he said after them.

Lexi looked at Enid. "I'm glad you aren't staying behind," she said.

"Why do you care so much?" Enid questioned her.

"Because no matter how bad it got, I ways had Sasha and Ty, and when we got separated, I had Carl, Rick, Michonne and Mar. I can't even imagine what I would have done if I had been alone. I don't know if I would have survived out there by myself, without anyone. I don't know if I would have made it, if I would have survived. I know what we all went through together, what we survived together, how we always relied on each other, how we were never alone. And, then I think about you being out there alone, and I wish we would have met before you had to go through that. My coming after you, following you, I wanted you to see, needed you to see that you could rely on people, on us. Personally, I am glad we ran into Glenn, you were proving to be quite stubborn," Lexi said as she pulled cloth off the tables. "I'm hoping Axel and his group find some stuff too, I'm not sure if this is going to be enough," she said.

"It may have to be," Enid said. "Did you lose your parents during all this?"

Lexi shook her head. "No, they died before,"she answered.

"I'm sorry about how I acted, and I'm sorry about Ron," Enid said.

"You aren't Ron and you aren't responsible or his actions," Lexi said as Enid walked over to the pulpit.

Enid pulled a box out and opened it and looked at Glenn. "Hey you were right," she said as she opened up the box with two glock's inside of it. "Let's get Maggie," she said.

"Can't you two just stay here?" Glenn asked.

Enid and Lexi both looked at each other and said in unison, "Nope."

Mar and Carol's POV:

Mar caught up with Carol as she walked through the empty house. "You alright? Feeling dizzy or anything?" she asked Carol.

"I'm fine," Carol answered as she went over to the window and glanced back at her "He'll be alright, he's strong and brave. He reminds me a lot of Daryl, certainly not the little kid that I met in camp."

"You should sit down," Mar told her as she avoided mentioning Mitch. She turned when they heard someone at the door.

Morgan looked at Carol. "You had a child, right?" he asked Carol, who remained quiet.. "A. husband? I don't want to hurt you, either one of you, just had to stop you," Morgan said.

Morgan, we've all done enough, and maybe not enough. My son is out there with that man that you let live, not once but twice now, has him and Denise," she said. "And those questions you asked are inappropiate," she told him.

Carol looked out the window. "You saved him for you, not us. If it was for us, you would've...," she hesitated as she looked out the window. "I should've killed you, I should've," she said.

"You can't," Morgan said as he turned to leave.

Mar squeezed Carol's shoulder before quickly following him. "Morgan wait," she called.

Morgan turned and looked at her. "I'm sorry that Mitch got caught up in all this," he said.

"You should be. You'll be more than sorry if something happens to him. Daryl will make you regret that he ever saved your life. You lost a child, how could you ever put another in danger?" she asked as she turned back around to go back to Carol. "I'll never forgive you if one hair on my son's head is harmed," she said as she walked back into the room.

Axel and Joey's POV:

Axel heard a noise outside the house and looked at the two females he was with. "Keep looking, it may be Glenn," he said as he took out a knife and went outside. He walked around the house and kept the knife up, taking a breath as he saw Joey and Quinn. "Joey," he greeted. "Quinn," he said as he looked at them. "I'd hug you but, well," he said as he nodded to the outfits.

"We were with Rick, Deanna, she, " Joey said as he looked at Quinn.

"Mom was bit, she's gone," Quinn said.

"I'm sorry," Axel said.

"Is Summer inside?" Joey asked. "David?"

Axel looked at Joey then Quinn. "I'll go inside," Quinn said.

Joey looked at Axel. "Are they dead?" he asked.

"I don't know if Summer is, David was the last to see her. He said they got separated," Axel said.

"You don't believe him?" Joey questioned.

"It's hard to believe someone who steals the car and weapons while you are asleep," Axel said.

"No, he wouldn't do something like that, he's my brother, he's family. I don't believe that he would do anything to ever hurt Summer," Joey said.

"I didn't think so either, but his actions speak louder then words," Axel said. "I know that you want to go out and look for Summer, I had the same reaction, so did Jes. But we are needed here, we have to meet up with Glenn, Lexi and Enid. we need your help. Then I will go out there with you and look for Summer. You know Jewel and Rick aren't going to give up, but they need to be here for Alexandria, after this, and with Deanna's death. So they are going to need to know people that they trust, that love Summer as much as they do, looking for her. So let's get through this, then we go and find Summer."

"If David had anything to do with this, I'll kill him," Joey said.

"I'll help,"Axel said as they went inside. "What were you two going?"

Quinn looked up as they came in. "Rick was taking a group to get cars, we were going to the gates to shoot off flares to get there attention."

"Do you need help?" Nikki asked. "I was going to help throw smoke bombs, and I'm not very good at running."

Quinn looked at her. "Then I'll go with Axel and Emily," she said as she took off the sheet and put it on her Nikki. "You're going to need this."

"This is gross," Nikki said.

"We agree," Joey said.

"I'm sorry about Deanna," Nikki said.

Emily turned her head going to the window. "Was that a gunshot?"

"Is someone trying to fight back?" Nikki asked.

"Maybe someone got into trouble," Joey said. "We need to go," he said.

Denise and Mitch's POV:

Denise and Mitch ran with Wolf running into a house. "The infirmary is right across the alley. We need to get you there now," she said as she took off his belt.

Mitch noticed that the wolf not responding. "He's zoning out."

"Hey!" Denise yelled to get his attention.

The wolf looked at them. "I thought it was clear, I could've made it," he said.

Mitch looked at Denise. "You got bit saving Denise, you did a good thing," he said.

Denise nodded. "You turned back for me, maybe because you needed the DR. or maybe you changed. You ready?" she asked.

The wolf nodded as he followed Mitch and Denise. He raised the garage door catching the attention of two walkers and races toward one pushing it. Mitch reaches up and pushes the knife through the jaw of the second walker.

"Come on, come on," the Wolf said as he reached out his hand to her.

Gunshots rang out, coming out of nowhere, causing the Wolf to fall.

Mitch and Denise looked up to see Carol and Mar.

"Go! Go!" Carol yelled from a balcony.

"You are in trouble young man, you better not die before I get to you," Mar warned Mitch.

Denise and Mitch both ran toward the infirmary.

Aaron and Heath opened the door. "Come on," Aaron said as he helped them inside locking the door.

"Are you OK?" Spencer asked.

"Mitch," Beth said as she hugged him.

"I'm fine. How are my patients? Where is Ronnie?" Denise asked.

"Ronnie got bit, she didn't make it," Beth said as she hugged Mitch.

"The patients are doing well, we moved them upstairs just in case," Heath said.

Aaron looked out the window. "Oh my God," he said seeing Michonne and Jewel killing walkers and Rick carrying Carl.

"It's the kid, is he bit?" Heath asked.

Denise and Beth both looked out the window, both taking a breath. "Nope," Denise exhaled.

Aaron looked at them. "What?" he said.

"Mitch, I need you to stay out of the way unless we need something," Beth said.

Mitch nodded. "You're going to save him, right? He's one of the Atlanta boys," he said.

"We're going to do his best," Beth said.

"I need bandages, top shelf next to the sink, two IV's with syringes and all the clean towels you can find," Denise yelled. "Aaron, and Beth grab the gourney," she instructed as she opened the door and directed Rick over to the bed.
