Ginny Weasley hated being treated like a kid. At present she was annoyed at her brothers. Christmas was supposed to be family time when everyone got together. But for her it had always been the time when she felt the most left out. It was far from easy being the only girl in the family. She was special to everyone, all of them loved her to bits, but she still didn't feel like she belonged.

Her brothers, she thought, huffing in frustration as she continued to walk faster. They were the reason why she was walking all alone on a cold dark moonlit night. They still treated her like she was a little girl, which she definitely wasn't. She was a gorgeous woman by all means, anyone with two eyes could see that. Anyone but her brothers. She started shivering. She wanted to cry to be honest, every Christmas she felt the same way, and every Christmas she ran away to him. Damn it was cold, she had forgotten her cloak in a hurry, she quickly cast a warming charm on herself.

She was 20 now, but for as long as she can remember she has always been the odd one out in the family. The only girl among the boys, it didn't help that she was the youngest. Sure, she was her parents favorite. But she wanted to belong with her siblings.

Bill and Charlie had always been a team. Percy was the loner by choice, his books interested him more than any human. Fred and George were obviously the devious devil twins stuck at the hips, always together. And Ron was always trying to do his best to impress and belong with Fred and George, and when he couldn't,he spared her some attention. The only time the boys gave her any attention was during quidditch. The more the merrier apparently.

As they had all grown up , things hadn't changed much, except that, Ron found his own little family in Harry and Hermoine. George was the loner now, although he was getting better, because of Angelina. Losing his twin had scarred him forever.

But one thing, that was constant , was the fact that Ginny Weasley was too young and immature in her brothers' eyes to get any of their Jokes. It was annoying at best and hurtful at worst. Like at the dinner today.

Her parents had retired early, missing Fred too much. The rest of them had gathered around the fire, Bill was busy tending to his wife who was pregnant again, and Charlie was playing with little victoire , teddy was looking at victoire in obvious awe and changing his hair color between blond , turquoise blue and weasley red every now and then. He couldn't quite seem to decide which color he liked best. It was a difficult decision for a three year old. Percy had gone home to his wife Audrey.

Ron and Harry were sitting with George, drinking yet again as they did every Christmas since Fred's death. She wanted to join them, so she went and sat with them, reaching out for a drink. And that's when hell broke loose. As she was reaching for a drink, George muttered no, half drunk while Ron snatched the bottle away from her at the same time. She told them to give it back, when Ron simply made the bottle disappear and grinned at his drunk wandworm. Harry had the audacity to tell her that drinking is not good for health while being completely sloshed. She looked incredulously at the three men, as they lectured her about how She was too little to drink, too little to hang around late at night like this. That's when she completely lost her cool and silenced them off and put them to sleep. She couldn't believe what had happened. She was being denied a Christmas drink at her own home.

It wasn't as if she couldn't get a drink on her own. She easily could, but she wanted to be a part of them. She cried silently. She never felt at home with them. She wanted to get to Draco at the earliest. She should probably apparate directly to his room, but she needed to let out all of the frustration before she met him. He was already having a terrible week. She didn't want to make it worse. She would go there and calmly tell him about her row with her brothers at home. And just lay down with him and apparate back home before morning. She missed him so much, she sighed. Her boyfriend was literally her better half, don't get me wrong, she thought, she is not dependent on him or anything, but being around him made everything better. She smiled at that.

Feeling much better at just the thought of him, she apparated directly into his room.
