Dom was feeling quite nervous as he headed towards Abe's place bright and early Saturday morning. Having not seen Abe for many years and despite being able to help him, he really wasn't sure what sort of a reception he would get. He hadn't stolen Abe's girl. He knew she had wanted to leave him and had helped her with an excuse, that was all, but he had never been able to convince him there was nothing more too it. He landed on the air strip by Abe's place. He had expected to see the plane there but there was no sign of it, but perhaps Cait had put it away in the barn. Making his way to the house he knocked on the door. There was no answer, so he knocked again. Still no answer. Dom pushed the door and found it open. He could immediately see that the place had been turned over.
"Abe! Abe!" shouted Dom but when he got no response, he walked into the lounge to find Abe in a heap on the floor. Dom rushed over to him and could see that he had a nasty head wound.
"Abe, can you hear me?"
Abe groaned but there was no further response.
"I need to get you to a hospital buddy." said Dom as he hauled Abe to his feet. He grabbed a set of keys which he hoped were for the truck parked out front. Luckily Abe was now a bit more conscious and able to walk a little with Dom's help.
Dom drove into town to the small local hospital and managed to get Abe inside.
"Abe, where's Cait? Do you know where Cait is? I was meant to meet her at your place." said Dom.
Abe made to reply but his words came out all mixed up and made no sense to Dom. Having given Abe's details to the hospital staff he headed out to the truck and back to Abe's place. Parking up, he walked out and opened the barn doors expecting to see the plane, but the barn was empty. Maybe Cait is still working thought Dom, but no, she would've told me, she knew I was coming to get her this morning. Lost in his thoughts of what to do next, he hadn't heard someone approaching him from behind and the first he knew of it was the sharp pain to the back of the head before he hit the ground. The barn door was shut and locked with Dom inside.

"Mr Grant, I've dealt with our unexpected visitor, he won't be going anywhere for a while. The chopper has Santini Air on the side." said Frank ringing from the phone in Abe's kitchen.
"Santini Air? Doesn't mean anything to me, but I'll look into it Frank. Get back here will you, I don't like what's been going on these last couple of days and I think we should move the stuff just in case."
"OK boss, on my way."

By mid-afternoon, String was getting worried. Dom and Cait should've been back by now. Dom had promised that if he intended to stay longer in Texas that he would let String know. He wished he could've flown with him, but the film shoot had over run, and they needed String to re-do a stunt meaning he hadn't been able too. String walked over to the radio in the hangar.
"Dom, come in, it's String."
No answer
Heading back into the office, String found Abe's number pinned to the memo board and rang it.
No answer.
He was beginning to get a bad feeling, almost like a 6th sense, he had learnt to trust his instincts and they were rarely wrong. Grabbing the Jeep keys and closing up the hangar he headed to the lair to get The Lady.
