Daryl, Jewel, Rick and Eugen's POV:

Rick drove the car to the gate, and waited for Eugene to open it. Eugene came over to Daryl's side of the car and pulled out a list from his pocket."I mapped out some of the argicultural supply places in the area. Even if they've been cleaned out, my bt is that the Surgram will be untouched. That there is a criminally underated grain. And it could change the game in our food situation from scary to honkey donkey," Eugene told them.

Jewel, Rick and Daryl exchanged glances. "Honkey donkey? I'm not even going to pretend to understand what you mean," Jewel said.

Eugene looked at her but didn't explain. "I'm talking standability, drought tolerance, grain to stover ratio that is the envy of all corns," he said. "Think about it," he told them.

"We will," Jewel answered for the three of them.

"Thanks,""" Daryl said.

"All right, Ok," Eugene said as he went to close the gate after them.

"Let me see the map," Jewel said as she took it from Daryl.

"Today's the day," Rick said.

"Ah huh," Daryl answered.

Jewel gave a small smile as she leaned to the front seat and kissed Rick's cheek.

Rick smiled as he squeezed her hand. "We're gonna find food, maybe some people. The law of averages has got to catch up," he told them.

Jewel glanced at Daryl. "I'll take the food," she said.

"We aint seen nobody for weeks, maybe that's a good thing," Daryl said.

"We're just getting Alexandria up and running again, and learning how to work all together, I don't know if bringing strangers in right now would be a good idea. Especially with the type of people Summer described," Jewel pointed out.

"We can ask the questions," Rick said as he moved to turn. on the radio.

"Don't, don't, please don't," Daryl begged. He looked back at Jewel. "You gonna do something?" he asked.

Jewel took a walkman out of her coat pocket and put in headphones. "I'm going to look over this map Eugene made us," she said as she sat back into the seat.

"Traitor," Daryl hissed as he looked at Rick.

Rick snapped his fingers as a song started playing. "Draws them away from home," Rick said over the music, looking in the rear view mirror, winking at Jewel.

Jewel chuckled and shook her head as she looked over the map and looked out the window. She took out a headphone and bent toward the front seat. "Rick, back up, I think that's one of the roads that Eugene marked on the map," she told him.

Rick nodded as he backed up the car, stopped and looked at the sign and took the road.

Daryl nodded as he saw the garage.

"Sugram," Jewel said as Rick parked the car and the three of them got out of the car.

"Hey, hold up, it's best to be safe. You cover it?" Daryl asked the two of them.

"You don't even have to ask," Jewel said as she held up her gun.

"Yeah," Rick answered.

Daryl opened the garage, a truck being in it.

"Yeah, we're good, one more time?" Rick questioned.

Jewel looked around. "Let's do this," she said.

"It aint locked," Daryl said as he lifted the truck open.

Jewel whistled. "Jackpot," she said as she jumped in the truck. "Michonne's toothpaste," she said as she threw the box to him.

"Well how about that? Law of averages," Rick said as he grabbed the toothpaste in mid air.

"Yep," Daryl said.

"This is a good day," Jewel said as she jumped out of the truck.

"Let's get this thing going, grab our gear, come back for the car later," Rick said.

"Why should we leave the car here? There's three of us, I can follow in the car," Jewel said.

"She has a point," Daryl pointed out.

Rick laughed. "She usually does," he said as he kissed her. "So, you can follow in the car. We'll take another way back, see what we can see," he said.

Daryl looked at the truck. "Think it'll start?"

"Yeah, I do,"Rick said as he shook his head. "Sorghum."

"Maybe Eugene knows what he's talking about sometimes," Jewel said with a grin.

Daryl looked at her. "You are enjoying being out of the house, way to much," he told his sister.

"I'm a Dixon, not to good at being cooped up for a long time," Jewel answered.

"You are," Daryl said. "I'll drive the car, take the lead, you two can take the truck," he said.

"You just don't want to listen to Rick's music," Jewel said with a grin.

"Damn right, you're the one married to him, you can suffer," Daryl said as he went back to the car.

Rick laughed as he took the keys of the truck and got in. He watched as Daryl backed away and he did the same and followed him out. "This is a good day," Rick said as he squeezed her hand.

"It is," Jewel said as she squeezed his hand back. "But we've got a while to go til we get back home," she reminded him.

"Yeah, we do," Rick agreed. "Home, I like the sound of that," he said as he kissed her hand.

"So do I," Jewel said.

"You were feeling trapped inside the house?" Rick asked.

"It's not like that, Rick and you know that. You knew that you weren't getting a typical housewife when you married me," Jewel said.

"And I'm glad for that," Rick said with a grin. "Daryl's pulling off," he said.

"Gas station. We may keep our luck going," Jewel said as he stopped the truck.

Daryl walked over to a turned over vending machine. "You give me a hand with this, let's turn it over," he said.

Jewel walked over to help and tried to turn it over. She looked up as it didn't budge it. She looked at Rick who shook out his hand. "You OK?"

"Yeah,"Rick answered. "I don't think we got it," he said as he nodded toward the machine

Daryl looked around. "I got an idea," he said as he went over to get some chains.

"Daryl, you aren't one whose into sweets," Jewel said.

"It's not for me," Daryl said as he hooked the chains up and got in the truck and pulled the machine over and got out of the vehicle.

"It's soda and candy, why the trouble?" Rick questioned.

"It wasn't any trouble," Daryl said as a man ran into Rick, knocking him sideways.

Jewel, Daryl and Rick all pulled there guns as the man raised his hands. "Hi."

"Hi? Is that all you have to say?" Jewel questioned.

"Keep them up," Daryl said as the guy lowered his arms.

"Easy guys, I was just running from the dead," the man said.

"How many?" Daryl demanded.

"Ten maybe more. I'm not risking it, once it gets to double digits I start running," the man said.

"Good rule when you are alone," Jewel said.

"Where?" Daryl asked.

About a half mile back, they're headed this way. You probably have about eleven minutes," he said.

Rick lowered his gun. "OK. Thanks for letting us know"

Jewel glanced at Rick still holding the gun on him.

"Yeah there's more of them than us right? Got to stick together, right?" the man asked.

"There's four of us so we can take twelve walkers' out,"Jewel asked.

"Have a camp?" Jesus questioned.

"Noah," Daryl responded.

"Do you?" Rick asked.

"No, sorry for running into you. I'm going to go now," the man said.

"So you are just going to go? We could help with the the dead," Jewel told him.

"Sorry, I'm got to go. If this is the next world, I hope it's good to you guys," he said as he took off running.

"I'm Rick, this is Daryl, and Jewel. What's your name?" Rick asked.

Jewel glanced at Daryl then Rick. "This isn't a good idea," she whispered to him.

The man turned and lowered the bandana. "Paul Rovia, but my friends used to call me Jesus, your pick," he said as he extended his arms.

"You said you didn't have a camp, you on your own?" Rick asked.

"Rick,"Jewel hissed not liking what she thinks he's going to do.

Yeah, but still best not to try anything," Jesus warned them.

Daryl looked at him. "Best not to make threats you can't keep either," he said.

"Exactly," Jesus said.

"There's three of us, one of you," Jewel pointed out.

"How man walkers?" Rick started to question.

Both Jewel and Rick tried to block him. "No, no not this guy," Daryl insisted.

"Rick," Jewel warned.

"How many walkers have you killed?" Rick called you.

Jesus turned and started to run. "Sorry got to run, you should too. You got about seven minutes."

Daryl and Jewel both looked at Rick. "What the hell was that?" Daryl demanded.

"He's clean, his beard was trimmed, there's more going on there," Rick said.

"So you were going to invite him back to Alexandria? Him looking that clean? How was that a good idea?" Jewel asked.

"He didn't have a gun either," Daryl pointed out.

"We could track him, watch him a while, get to know more. See if he's really alone, maybe bring him back," Rick said.

"That is a really bad idea," Jewel said.

"I agree with her, guy calls himself Jesus," Daryl told him as gun shots echo.

The three of them run with guns out seeing firecrackers coming out of a barrell.

"Firecrackers," Rick said.

"Hell's Bell's,"Jewel said.

"Shit, he swiped your keys didn't he?" Daryl asked.

Rick patted down his pants. "Oh shit!" he exclaimed as the three of them took off running.

"Sorry!" Jesus called driving off in the truck leaving the three of them staring after them.

"Keys,"Jewel said as she ran to the other car. "Come on, let's go after this douche," Jewel said.
