Hi again. New chapter. The second part. I don't have more to say, only to enjoy it.

I'm not own from Merlin.

"I've been having continuous nightmares ever since the dragon attacked Camelot," Morgana began quietly. "And really bad nightmares."

"How bad?" asked Merlin with a confused expression.

"Too much."

"And what was in them?"

Morgana hesitated to answer, and after a few seconds, she answered in a broken voice:

"You were dead, Merlin."

"Me?" said Merlin, something worried.

Morgana didn't know what to answer. She didn't want to scare him too much. She knew that, just like other dreams and nightmares, they used to be real. That was something that happened to her from a very young age, and it was the part she feared and hated the most. If the dream was a prophetic one, Merlin would truly die. Morgana denied it internally. No, it didn't have to be like that. The future could be changed, as she had seen before (especially when she told Merlin, who apparently used to avoid what was going on in her dreams, as she dreamed of Arthur drowning, and apparently Merlin avoided it. According to Arthur told him, Merlin had beaten him and taken him home after trying to leave with the girl whose name she didn't even want to remember. But there was something about it that she always knew wasn't true), and she still wouldn't let it happen. She'd try to save Merlin first.

"And was there anything else in the dream?" asked Merlin.

"Yes..., the same dragon that was attacking Camelot."

In saying this, Morgana saw Merlin's expression change aggressively. She didn't know what that meant, but she didn't say anything else just in case, waiting for Merlin to answer.

"And what was he doing?"

Morgana decided to ignore that last question, and directly speculated:

"Did you know that dragon, Merlin?"

Merlin's expression became one of confusion and stun. A cheeky little smile came out of Merlin's lips.

"Why would I know him?"

"Because he was shouting your name."

Merlin's whole face decayed: his skin turned pale, his smile quickly disappeared, and his blue eyes seemed really surprised.

"Did he say anything else?" said Merlin cautiously.

"No, just your name."

She didn“t want to tell him about the fire consuming him. It was not the moment.

Merlin leaned back and, for a moment, seemed to be going to get up, but remained in place. His face had not changed, perhaps there was something else in his eyes indicating that he was thinking, but nothing more.

Morgana wasn't comfortable at the time. There was something, something in him, something in his actions, something in his eyes. It was no longer just because Morgana looked at him differently (for Merlin actually seemed attractive enough to be a mere servant), nor that there was something about him that made him interesting, but that, at that time, Morgana knew perfectly well that Merlin was not being sincere.

Perhaps Merlin was not simply an attractive servant or boy, clumsy and big-eared, but something else. Although a few moments ago Merlin had assured that he was nothing more than a foolish and useless servant, Morgana knew that was not true.

It was his way he was powered. At first, he was quite thrown and reckless (he remembered how he drank Bayard's poisoned cup, or how he had presented himself as a sorcerer to court, or how she had heard that his first day in Camelot had been arrested for insulting the prince), but, every time the months went by, Merlin became a more prudent and cautious person, even if she did not take away the fact that he gave his life for his friends, or he has done things that would have led him to the pyre (how he had confronted the Witch Finder, or how he had helped her with his magic, backing her up and sending her to the druids to help her). All those actions that made him Merlin. Merlin was compassionate, brave, sometimes thrown and reckless, others with good plans prudently, protective, funny, cheerful, funny, insightful to know when something was wrong (he had known that Lady Catrina was more than a lady, who was a troll), knowing how and when to act (which she did not know how to do well), patient when necessary, and agile and fast in other, always giving his life for others... There were so many things that described Merlin, that she didn't know a person could have so many good things.

But, in this case, there was something else in Merlin. Something he's seen in him since he attacked the dragon. Although now that she thought about it, she had always found Merlin interesting, she always thought he was hiding something. But back then she thought she was imagining it and made sure she was just a servant she liked (yes, she liked, somehow or another, what she was like and how she helped her). But now she knew perfectly well that Merlin was lying and keeping secrets. And it didn't look like just one, but many, she could see it in his eyes.

"It's not the first time I've dreamed of it," she said after a period of silence. That was true, she had ever dreamed it before, as when Arthur was wounded by the Questing Beast. There she had had the same dream: a dragon shouting Merlin's name angrily as he roared furiously.

Merlin looked at her without understanding, still pale and worried, and looked down again, seemingly reconsidering and thinking.

"Is there anything you want to tell me, Merlin?" she asked, hoping that he would reveal something to her. After all, she had been honest with Merlin and entrusted him with many things (her magic, for example). But he, on the other hand, if it was true that he kept secrets, he had revealed nothing to her. And, now that she was thinking about it, she didn't know Merlin as much as she had always thought. She thought she knew all about him, and Merlin was someone simple, but at the same time interesting, not knowing why. And now she knew it could be interesting because it wasn't simple.

Merlin continued with his gaze lost until he looked at her with some fun in his eyes, and a un sincere little smile appeared again on those pretty lips.

"There's nothing to tell," he said only. Then he sighed saying: "I'm just tired. Worried about the people of Camelot, too. I hope they're all right."

"Yes, I hope so too," she replied, still looking at him with his eyes squinted, not knowing what to believe about him.

"And I'm worried about you too," he said, looking her in the eyes.

"About me?" she asked without understanding, though simply knowing that he cared about her warmed her heart.

"Yes. If you keep this up, with nightmares, you won't get to sleep and rest. There's still a way to Engerd. Although I understand you're not comfortable on the floor, are you sure you don't want to sleep in the host's bed?" He said with a smile.

"No thanks," she replied, giving her a cheeky little smile.

"Let's see if we're better off tomorrow in Ealdor," he said as he got up.

"Why do you want to go to Ealdor, Merlin?" she asked, knowing more or less the answer.

"Well, it goes faster to go to Engerd."

"I guess that's not entirely true, is it?"

Merlin laughed; the laughter that killed her inside. The laughter that infected her. The laughter he dreamed of in his beautiful dreams. It's a perfect laugh, really.

"Well, I guess I have to talk to my mother," he said and went to open the door to let her out.

Before leaving the door, Morgana asked:

"It's important, isn't it?"

"Yes, it really is."

Yes, it really is. You know of what wants Merlin to talk about with his mother, isn't it? Well, you will know what will happen. This chapter was a Mergana one, not in a romantic way, but we will go step by step. Ufff, I think this story will have more than the chapters I had thought when I started, hahaha. Yes, and I am even planning to have a continuation of it when this story ends. Yep, it is all planned by the moment.

By the way, what do you think? I don't mean about the chapter, but the whole story. Tell me about it. You know, some ideas, recommendations... And I will answer happily. I don't know if it's bad or damaged, but I can see like there are some reviews, and then there are fewer. I don't know what happens. Then you know, if I don't answer, it is because I can't see the review. I don't know why.

Well, I hope you liked it. See you.
