I found Rome a city of bricks and left it a city of marble.

Chapter 2
November 28th 2005
The sun is bright, radiating the warmth across the distance, though I felt like a frigid inside. The forest around him is quite a sight to see, one could say it is enchanted. The sky vanishes almost completely, only a few fragments of blue remain- like scattered pieces of an impossible jigsaw puzzle.
Even so many hours after the rains have passed, the soil remains wet, slowly releasing its heady fog. I welcome the chilling rain ever since I found out that my father was indeed Lord Neptune god of the sea, storms, earthquakes and horses. Percy has been running for hours through the forest maintaining his daily routine that Lupa has set for him.
'I need a break.' I gulped for air and reduced my pace to a jog.
His endurance has increased massively ever since Lupa has begun training. She is as ruthless as a ... wolf, after all she is the mother of Rome. What was I expecting? A few push ups and the day is over.
Walking some distance I find the top of a hill with beautiful shinning waters, it had induced him to come down and naturally I follow the waters and take a seat. Looking back, I vividly remember my first sword fighting lesson.
Flashback
"Stand straight! I am training you to be a warrior. I will not accept any weakness. The weak will be devoured," Lupa barked encircling me.
"Move your feet. Keep your knees bent. When you are not attacking, keep far enough from your opponent so they can't hit you without stepping forwards, but close enough so you can step forwards and hit them. Move back and forwards quickly, and sidestep while facing your opponent. Your first priority is to not get hit. Defeating the opponent is useless if they get you too."
"Yes of course, Lady Lupa." I exclaim between gasps of breaths while I continue hopping from one foot to another.
"Romans tend to be defensive and in formation. They strike their enemies down through legion by legion. You however are more unpredictable, your strikes tend to be offensive and tend to adapting to an enemy's move."
"I'm terribly sorry Lady Lupa, I'll try -"
Lupa gives a grin, "Do not worry child. It is in your nature, the sea does not like to be restrained. We will work on your defense later in the weeks. Your nature makes you dangerous to your enemies. Embrace it."
Flashback End
"PERESUS!" A loud bellow went through the air.
'Oh I am screwed' as I start running back towards the wolf house with renewed vigour.

3 years later
Lupa watched from the sidelines as Percy honed his powers that he inherited from Neptune. The first time she had meet him he held a great deal of raw power, it was lossless and unrefined at the time but it has grown. Grown at an exponential rate as his strikes with water became near to flawless and it could kill if he willed it. Percy has grown on her almost like a child, she would often retell the stories of Remus and Romulus.
"Lupa. Can I ask you about something?," Percy said almost hesitantly.
Lupa's eyes narrowed, "Go on pup but be quick with it you have much more work to do."
"Who was it that brought me here? All I could remember was a lady and a flash of light."
Lupa gave off a brief sigh, "It is not my place to tell you for now child. I have been forbidden to speak of it, but know this Perseus you were brought here for -
A brief knocking on the wooden door was heard and stepped in a woman. A woman with a tall and well-built body and a quiver of arrow on her shoulder.
Lupa bows her head, "Lady Diana what brings you here. It has been a quite some time when we crossed paths."
Lady Diana resonds with a curt nod, "Indeed it has. There has been a spike in monster activity around California especially centring at Mount Tamalpais. My father has asked to do a sweep of the area but doesn't believe there is any real threat." Both gaze into each other's eyes knowing exactly what she means. Juno's assumptions have been correct after all.
She turns her gaze towards Perseus, "Who is the boy?"
Percy would have turned into shock at the stare that the silver-grey eyes were piercing but after years of training with Lupa she has made him perfect his "wolf stare".
"Percy Jackson Son of Neptune, milady at your service."
Diana eyes reveal a sense of shock for a split second, "A son of Neptune. It has been many aeons since I have come across a demigod of Neptune. You are very peculiar, you do not tremble under my gaze and kneel before my presence. "
"With all due respect, I have been trained by the mother of Rome after all." Lupa felt a sense of pride swelling inside her.
"Jupiter will not be pleased to learn that his brother has sired another child."
Lupa growled, "Jupiter will not touch the child, especially since Jason is still alive. Lord Neptune will subdue his brother if needed. After all you know how Neptune is very protective of his children."
Diana raised her eyebrows at his, "Very well Lupa I must continue my journey my hunters will be getting worried." She takes one last look at Percy, "Your peregrination will be a interesting one." With that Lady Diana swiftly took her departure.
"Come Perseus the time between us in nearing a end. Every warrior of Rome must have a capable sword."
Lupa went further down into the wolf house and came back with rather longevous, tattered scabbard. "In 476, the Western Roman Empire was under attack by the barbarian armies under the Heruli General Odoacer. The victory was of course won for Romulus and Aurelius."
Lupa gave the scabbard to Percy who held it gently in his arms and made his way to take it out. "During the battle, the legendary Calibian sword of Julius Caesar or called the sword of Caesar was used and lost."
The shining in the sun as if it were fashioned from the brilliant rays themselves. The broad bronze - golden metal was warmed, as was the rock it rested upon. A symbol of the kind of bravery that enables others to find their own courage, to be more than they thought themselves able to be.
Percy remained in awe at the sword in front of him, perfectly balanced for him. Percy traced his finger along the inscription engraved along the sword "Fortune Favors the Bold."
"Now if you are done gazing at your sword, I am going to teach you one of the most important criteria's to aid you in the future."
"What would that be Lupa?" Percy looked up curiously.
Lupa have a wolfish grin, "Roman politics."
AN : Thanks for the reviews! Percy will be powerful but not OP so battles will be made to a touch of realism. Percy will slowly start being integrated in the Camp, may include some of my own characters to bring the storyline forward. The Greek Camp. Ahh yes. They will be used later in the story and characters.
