All Nightmare Long

Chapter 446

Author's Note: So Negan was bugging me. I mean he is kind of hard to ignore. And I will never forgive him if the rumors are true about what is going to happen in the mid season finale. Well, I would never forgive him anyway because of Glenn, but still. So I am going to show the two months since he met Summer. It'll be time skipped and hopefully just this chapter, but maybe it'll be enough to shut the man up. Review please.

Savior's two months ago:

Negan sat with his leg up on the table and looked at the people gathered. "You're telling me four of my people just disappear and no trace what so ever?" he asked.

"I wouldn't say no trace, Levy was found with a wound to his head, looked like a knife, but no weapon was found. Found half of Lane, also with a wound but was smaller than a knife," Dwight said.

"You think someone from Hilltop could be responsible?" Arat asked.

"Gregory isn't that stupid," Simon said.

"After what happened last week, he wouldn't," Dwight said. "What about that girl?"

"What girl?" Sampson asked.

"You weren't there, there was a new girl there. A blond, young, said she didn't have any family and had been on her own," Dwight explained.

"Left those four that to bring her back if she left Hilltop. I didn't believe that shit, girl like her doesn't survive on her own. Thought she might have been with that dickhead David you brought back. He denied it, right up to the point of me bashing his head in with Lucille. So, you think a five foot nothing with an injury killed four people, D? How exactly do you think that would go down?" Negan asked.

"I don't know, Negan. It was a suggestion," Dwight said.

"Did you find the truck?" Arat asked.

"We did, it was cleared out," Simon said.

"So, I'm missing four more people, on top of the dozen that got blown up by a damn phantom, and now missing supplies. Yet none of you can tell me who the hell is responsible for this?" Negan questioned as he looked around the table. "Now don't you all talk at once," he said.

"Well we know it's not one of the groups that we deal with, they wouldn't be that stupid," Simon said.

"What about that group who disappeared? The ones who tried to fight back?" Arat asked.

"You took care of that problem didn't you Simon?" Negan questioned.

Yeah, I don't think they'd try that again. I still have people looking out for any traces of them, but I don't think they'd be that stupid to do this. Plus it's all women left," Simon scoffed.

"So, you don't think women can be capable of something like this?" Laura asked.

"Not the way I scared them and when I find them, I'll scare them again for running away," Simon said.

"It's probably a new group that we haven't dealt with. I mean anyone that we have dealt with, they wouldn't be this idiotic, they'd know what the the ramifications would be," Dwight said.

Negan laughed. "You know all about ramifications don't you D?" he asked. "These fuckers are just causing all kind of trouble aren't they? Let the outposts know to be on alert," he ordered.

"Yes Negan," all of them say.

"Get out of my sight," Negan ordered as they got up.

The Sanctuary one month ago:

Negan stopped on the stairs and stopped right in front of Sylvie. "If I didn't know better, I'd think that you were avoiding me," he said.

"Well, don't cut yourself short Negan, I am avoiding you," Sylvie said.

Negan laughed. "Come on, I want to talk to my favorite sister in law."

"I'm not your sister in law, not any more Negan," Sylvie said. "Plus, I am busy," she said.

"Busy? You know you don't have to work for points," Negan said as he took her elbow. "Whatever you are doing, it can wait. And you will always be my sister in law. I'll always love Lucy," he said as he walked up to his room.

Sylvie scoffed. "That's why you have a half of dozen young wives and a barbed wired bat that you call Lucille. That's love," she said sarcastically.

Negan took a breath and closed the door behind her. "Sit down, Sylvie," Negan ordered.

"I'd rather stand," Sylvie said as she crossed her arms. She wasn't scared of Negan, she knew what kind of man he was, what kind of man he was before this.

"Why do you have to be so argumentative? I don't make you kneel, I don't make you do crap jobs, I even gave you a husband, but you still want to object to every thing that I do. Why?" Negan asked.

"You know why, Negan," Sylvie said. "You put on this act, you kill innocent people, you scare people. I thought I hated you before this, for cheating on my sister, for causing her so much pain. But the truth is, I didn't know what hate was, not until later, not until I see what you do, what you have done. You say it's to keep everyone safe, but it's not, it's to feed your ego," she said.

Negan grabbed her by the neck and pushed her against the wall. "You are pushing my last bit of patience Syl," he warned.

Sylvie looked at him as she put her hand on his on her throat. "I'm not going to beg. You know if you kill Sampson, I'll hate you even more. You can kill me, but after all your big talk, I don't think you can because I'm a reminder of Lucy. The woman you claimed to love, that you still love. And I may be foolish, but I think that you really, in a sadistic kind of way, you do love her, that's why you make sure you keep me safe. Remove your hand, Negan. You aren't going to harm me."

Negan looked down at her then released her. "You're going to push me to far one day," he warned.

"I don't disrespect you in front of the others, that's the best I can do," Sylvie told him as she rubbed her throat. "Now can I go?" she asked.

"What were you doing before this?" Negan asked.

"I was working in the library, organizing the books," Sylvie said.

"I'll make sure you get points," Negan said.

"I don't want the points, I don't need the points. As you repeatedly point out, I don't have to work. I do this to help out the people with the kids. The workers don't make enough points to be able to give the kids entertainment. It's better to keep the kids out of trouble by entertaining them. Sherry wants to help too. It gives us something to do too, keeps us out of trouble," Sylvie said.

"You've got a kind heart, like Lucille did," Negan said.

"Can I go?" Sylvie repeated.

"Yes," Negan said. "I'm sorry about grabbing you."

Sylvie doesn't say anything as she walks out of the room. Sherry saw her walk out to the hall way. "What happened? Are you OK?" Sherry asked.

"I'm fine, I pushed him," Sylvie admitted.

"You need to stop, he's only going to put up with it so long," Sherry warned as they went into Sylvie's quarters. Sherry went to the small refrigerator and got an ice pack. "Here. You can't keep pushing him. What if he did worse than this?"

"Maybe I want him too?" Sylvie asked. "I hate it here, I hate him. That's why I ran away, with you, Dwight and Tina. But now we're back, you're trapped being married to him, Dwight has changed and if I run away again, he'll hurt Sampson."

"You love him, that's not a crime, you know?" Sherry told her.

"It is, because Negan knows my weakness," Sylvie said. "I'd be stronger if I didn't let myself love him."

"I married Negan to save Dwight, he's my weakness," Sherry said. "Just be careful, please."

"I'll try," Sylvie said. "I guess he's going to let you work in the library. I had to tell him, he pushed me into a corner."

"I don't care that you told him, I'm just glad that you were smart enough to tell him," Sherry said.
