Offering his hand to her Hamish smiled at Vera, "It's good to have you back Grand Magus." Taking his hand she pivoted in an all too familiar move before following him down the stairs towards the temple. There was something perfect about having her come back to the place he knew she belonged the most and it was made even better knowing after today she'd have her powers back. Holding her hand they walked through the temple passing a few acolyte's who instinctively kept their distance from the Grand Magus. Getting up to the door to the reliquary Hamish raised his hand and flicked it summoning the doors to open up and allow them to both pass through into a room Vera had missed for almost the past month.

"The vault?" Vera asked looking back to Hamish while she headed for the bookcase. They had some good memories with these bookcases, maybe that wasn't something anyone ever needed to know.

"Yes, I figured it was the quietest place to do this so nobody knows you ever lost them but us." Hamish raised his hand about to open the vault with his magic when Vera stopped him.

"I've got this one." She reached in pressing the button to make the bookcase shift open and stopping Hamish a moment.

"Well, that works too, less fun but it still works."

"Please, I'm plenty fun and you know it." Vera sassed back at him with a little smile as she stepped into the secret passage to the vault.

"Yes Vera, you are a regular comedy queen."

"Actually I am." She argued as they walked down the fear corridor, neither of them affected since they both had the talisman to protect them. Oddly enough yes she did trust one of the wolves who had actually successfully robbed her once. "I was a part of Belgraves comedy improv group."

"I'm aware, you have that poster still hanging up in the house." Hamish actually loved it too, it was a view of a much sweeter and more innocent Vera. It was a Vera he got to see more and more everyday, maybe twice as much now that they had a daughter together. It was easy to be silly around someone who couldn't tattle on you. "At some point I'm going to use that against you. You keep tempting me with what a great comedian you are but I haven't personally seen it. I think they just made you a part of the group because you were cute." When he said cute he meant hot, fire hot, magma hot.

"It's easier to be funny when you have someone just as funny to riff off of." She reached out to the vault door only to have Hamish open it with his magic.

"I am funny." He paused following her inside the vault. "I thought you said you liked the fact I was Shakespearean funny."

"I said Shaspearian romantic." She waved at the door. "I can't wait until you don't do that for me anymore."

"Powers or no Vera, I'm still going to open your doors." He looked over at Alyssa who was waiting for them both, the Vade Maecum sitting on the table next to her with a page open.

"Ms. Drake." Vera spoke up first standing there with her hands on her hips. "Let's get this over with, I'm very busy." Hamish smirked, oh sure she's busy. Just as typical, the only thing she was really busy doing was being a mother and housewife. He wouldn't say the last part since it would end up with a very injured werewolf limping his way out of the temple.

"Alright." Alyssa still didn't look like she was too sure about this. In fact if anything it might have crossed her mind if she was going to be getting out of here alive. Taking in a deep breath Alyssa raised her hand up, "Restituet omnia ad hanc potestatem."

"That's it?" Hamish asked looking over to Vera. "Do you feel differently?"

Vera looked around a moment. "I don't know." She looked to Alyssa and made a choice, a very reasonable choice considering how much pent up aggression she actually had towards the girl. "Debilietur." Instantly Alyssa was frozen to place, unable to move as Hamish stepped up worried Vera was about to do something drastic.

He jumped in front of Alyssa and put his hands up to hold her back. "Whoa now Vera, remember Alyssa gave you back your powers on her own free will."

"Yes and she shouldn't have." Vera was about to make Alyssa pay until Hamish caught her wrist and held onto her.

"Vera."

Letting out a sigh she snapped her fingers, "Restituere."

Alyssa moved her arms first, stepping back away from Vera and knowing without Hamish there she'd be dead by now. The look in Vera's eyes told her that woman hadn't intended to hold anything back. "We are even. No more trying to kill each other or take each other's powers. Vera, you have to set a good example for Theo as her mother and Alyssa…." Hamish paused a moment. "Killing is bad."

Vera huffed and picked up the Vade Maecum making Alyssa fear that the woman would finally prove her right. Instead of keep it however she handed it to Hamish. "Let's try this again." Vera held onto one side of the cover along with a few of the pages while Hamish took the other side. "Ms. Drake, if you will, in good faith." Alyssa cautiously came forward and grabbed a middle chunk of the pages before Vera gave a nod of her head for the okay. As they pulled Vera cried out, "Wait." Hamish startled thinking it was still hurting her but Vera just held off for a second. "Nothing, alright, it's safe to continue."

With a good tug all three of them ripped the binding of the book and tore it into three parts. Vera threw her portion down on the table and took a step back. "Hamish, I trust you'll put that someplace I'll never find it. Give the other half to Randal to hide and last of all, Ms. Drake I do believe that belongs to Jack. Don't try anything with it because I will know if he never gets it. I don't want this book ever put together into one piece again so long as the Order and the Knights stand." Alyssa seemed a little shocked by Vera in that moment, she couldn't restore all her faith but at least she knew now Vera wasn't a complete monster. "You can go now Ms. Drake." Vera waved towards the door opening it up with the flick of her hand and a little smirk on her face. She missed doing that. "Enjoy your summer." She followed with it afterwards making Alyssa move a little faster.

"Vera, don't frighten the children." Hamish scolded her a little, she was having far too much fun tormenting Alyssa right now. "Are we going to powder her?"

Vera crossed her arms over her chest. "No, she's immune to it, just like you. She'll have to make a choice eventually and I hope for her sake it's the right one."

"And if not?"

"Then Mr. Morton is going to have to learn how to put a leash on that little blonde." Vera leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek before heading towards the doors.

"I'm going to need to figure out how to put a leash on you too." Hamish whispered under his breath.

"I heard that." Vera called back to him. That was not good, someone was sleeping on the couch tonight.
