Godric pov:

Forever in awe of my little angel, I watched as she strode out of the room with Eric, head held high even after dealing with the brashness of Nan. A hair breadth of worry invaded my senses as I watched Lorena and Bill leave after them. Those two are nothing but a thorn in the side of anyone they cling to, and Bill's obsession with my angel was concerning, but I had faith that should anything occur, Eric and Ashlin would be able to handle it.

Isobel made to leave, but I motioned her back into her seat, she was going to take my position after all, I saw no reason for her to leave. The meeting went as smoothly as it could from that point onward, and I was confident that Isobel would do well in the new position that I had appointed her. My eyes still burned within my skull with every glance at Nan for the disrespect she showed my angel.

I walked back to the hotel room, my curiosity piqued at the slew of emotions coming from Eric's end. I allowed myself into the room, quietly as not to disturb my childe and angel yet. My childe was laying on one of the couches, Ashlin's new hat on his head, and her laying on top of him, a hand tracing idle patterns on his chest.

"I can't believe you don't know what Doctor Who is." My angel spoke, and Eric had the audacity to look shamed.

"I apologize for not knowing something you call one of the greatest creations of all time." My angel snorted, rolling her eyes at my childe's actions.

I took their momentary break in conversation as my opening, rushing over to the back of the couch. "I happen to think that you both are some of the greatest creations."

Neither of them flinched at my sudden appearance. Eric moved the hat so he could better look at me, and Ashlin lifted herself up, brushing her nose against mine before settling back down again.

"You're very sweet, Godric."

I gave a light smile to Ashlin. "I suppose that is simply your influence on me. And speaking of you, would it be too much to ask for you to read the rest of humans in my nest?"

"Not at all, Godric. I will do anything I can to help."

"Thank you, min lilla sol (My little sun). I suppose you should go pack your bags then, we will be leaving for Louisiana from there." I also hoped that we would have a bit of a break from business while we were there.

"Alright, shouldn't take long. We are leaving tonight?" She asked as she lifted herself off of Eric.

"Yes."

With a nod, she left for the other room, but not before taking her hat from Eric's head. "This is mine."

With a chuckle, I turned to my child, "You are all packed?"

"Yes, Godric." He sat up from his position to better look at me. "When are we going to talk to her?"

"Soon." I sighed, listening to the little bit of noise that Ashlin was making.

"Would there be enough time at the nest?"

I shrugged. I had no idea what the ability of Ashlin held, so I didn't know what time we would have.

"What would we be talking about?" Ashlin asked from behind as she reentered the room.

I raised an eyebrow at Eric, even with the door open, our conversation was quiet, and she shouldn't have been able to hear us.

He shrugged sheepishly. "Öron som en vampyr. (Ears like a vampire)."

I sighed and turned back to Ashlin. "We will get to it when we do, but it is nothing to worry about."

Ashlin shrugged. "Alright. Are we going to be leaving soon?"

I nodded.

"Is everyone inside already?" Ashlin asked as we pulled up to the secluded house.

I turned to look at her. "Yes, I believe so. Why?"

"I can save some time and tell you with an amount of confidence who I should look deeper into. I can get a scan on everyone, and I can get names. I am kinda certain on the names, I will be more sure once we get inside. Seraphina, Korrin, Arian, Zak, and Julie."

"Impressive, min lilla sol (my little sun). I will have Isobel gather them, and we can clear them tonight, and have more time to ourselves later."

Once again, I held my hand out for my angel to take and led her out of the car and into the house. Eric followed after, and we were able to settle our luggage quickly. The interviews passed in the same manner. Three out of five were able to be gathered for information, and two others had the chance to reform. We were able to be finished by two A.M.

We were able to settle down together in the guestroom in my wing. Ashlin was leaving against Eric, and I was sitting in front of them, her legs in my lap.

"So, what did you guys want to talk about?"

Eric reclined, "What do you remember about the bombing, min kärlek (my love)?"

"Well, I remember hearing the bomber's thoughts. I knew that I wouldn't be able to stop it from going off, but I knew that I could at least stop some of the shrapnel. I can heal, but you guys would have been seriously hurt from it.

"When the bomb went off, there was an odd feeling on my back, but I didn't think anything of it when I moved. I guess I blacked out, because the next thing I remember is waking up at the hotel."

After hearing what she experienced, and knowing what we saw, my suspicions were confirmed. "Min lilla sol (my little sun), I believe you are a seraphim."

"An angel?"

"Yes, from your scent, I suspected Fae, because it was more likely, and seraphim are more than extraordinarily rare, but after seeing you when the bomb went off…" I could not find a way to describe the glorious sight of her wings.

She straightened her spine, disconnecting herself from Eric. "What?"

Eric reached up and placed a hand on her back. "Your wings, älskare (lover). You had wings."

"Oh." She sounded breathless as she fell back against Eric. "Well, I suppose it would be better to just roll with it then."

"That was not the reaction that I was expecting."

"How were you expecting me to react, Godric?"

"I was expecting a more dramatic reaction; anger, sadness, something of a breakdown." It would have been a more common reaction for humans."

"Maybe for something concerning family, but this information, no. I've always known I was different, now I just found out why." She shrugged. "There's something else we need to talk about, yes?"

"Yes." I thought for a moment on what to say, it was my last intention to push her into something she was uncomfortable with. "Tell me, do you feel anything towards either one of us?"

Her cheeks grew rosy and she stammered out a confirmation. "Both of you, but I don't know why."

"I have reason to believe it is the mating pulls that join us together. I can see and feel the way you affect Eric, and for me, you have changed my whole outlook on life."

Eric's emotions spiked at the same time Ashlin spoke carefully, "Godric, what do you mean by that?"

I pulled in an unneeded breath and moved my sun's legs off of my lap, so I could rest my head on her lap before I continued speaking. "I have grown melancholy in the last few decades, and I suppose that might have influenced my decisions regarding the Fellowship of the Sun. I had seen their rhetoric and I set up a meeting with Steve Newlin, in hopes of finding some type of peace. Instead, I was willingly entrapped. I saw it as a means to an end. They would see a peaceful vampire, and I would suffer to atone for my past horrifics. But seeing you, min lilla sol (my little sun), has changed my thinking."

We all had a few tears that had fallen by the time I had finished speaking. Ashlin's fingers stopped moving through my hair where they had fallen, and instead she cupped my cheek.

"I do want to pursue a relationship with you both. And Godric, I've known you for such a short time, but I already care for you deeply, and I don't ever want you to feel that way again."

Eric pov:

Godric sat up on his forearms, shifting his weight to only one so he could bring a hand up to Ashlin's cheek, and lead her face down to his. She slowly shut her eyes as their lips met in a kiss. The sight was captivating, I could not look away. My maker, with whom I have lain with so many times before, and the woman to whom my affections were drawn. The sight was enough to have my cock hardening within my pants. A quiet groan escaped my lips as they pulled apart, Godric's eyes meeting mine with an unequivocal amount of lust within. He then lifted himself up from the bed.

"Come, my childe. We ought to let her rest, it has been an exhausting day." I nodded, placing a kiss of my own on Ashlin's cheek before exiting the room after my maker.

We made our way to his room down the hall, not a word exchanged between us as we both knew the other too well.

I pushed him against the door as it closed, my mouth descending on his violently. He brought his hands up to grasp at my hair, trying to draw us closer than we already were, and my hands were on his body, one on his waist under his shirt, and the other grasping at his ass. Fangs, which had descended in Ashlin's presence now nipped at lips, and tongues battled each other for dominance.

I pulled out carefully, and I rested on top of him, lazily still licking at the bite marks. While it would have been smart, neither one of us moved to clean up, dawn was fast approaching and it would be easy enough to shower when we rose.

Near dying for the day, I reflected on myself. No longer would I take whores or fangbangers. If I was to take Ashlin and Godric by my side as my mates, they would be the only ones, something I was sure they would both demand of me anyway, we were all far too greedy when it came down to it. I could not wait for the pleasure of both of them.
