36. Seductive Death

So, there wasn't a great deal of feedback last chapter…
I know I said I'm going to finish this story and that the ending is done and all, but some feedback would be nice. That being said, I did get a lot of views… in any case any, feedback on this Naruto story, does help me with my other Naruto stories. There is also the added bonus of giving me more of an urge to write. I do have a big twist this chapter, so hopefully that gets a good reaction out of all of you.

Chapter 36 – Seductive Death

Fuka looked at the behemoth in front of her in surprise. Moments ago, that monk boy, Sora, had nearly finished his transformation. He had been covered in a red chakra cloak with six tails, along with a bony exoskeleton. Fuka was a good information gatherer and having been focused on Naruto Uzumaki for some time now, she easily recognised it as a rather advanced Tailed Beast cloak. The puzzling fact, was that Sora didn't contain a Tailed Beast within him.

As the shroud thickened, muscle and features began to form on the beastly apparition, making it look truly frightening. Only fur and a few more defining features were needed, for there to be a true Kyuubi in front of them. Fuka thought back on how this event had come about.

Sora was staring in shock at the spot were Naruto was standing just moments ago. Not a minute later, Kakashi arrived.

'Where's Naruto?' Asked Kakashi sternly.

'The Land of Water. He said he needed to take care of something quickly and left in a flash of light. He said he'd be back as soon as he can.' Explained Sora nervously.

Kakashi's expression hardened for a moment, before smiling.

'Well, nothing to worry about then. I'm sure Naruto will be back soon enough then.' Said Kakashi cheerfully.

'Um, sure.' Said Sora in confusion.

Returning back to the temple, Sora and Kakashi saw the monks appearing quite animated. One of the monks spotted Kakashi and notified Chiriku, who then walked over to Kakashi.

'We just received word that another tomb has been robbed.' Informed Chiriku.

'Lead the way.' Said Kakashi, after Sai and Fuka dropped down next to him.

The group of five set off at a brisk pace and both Fuka and Sai noticed a distinct lack of blond.

'Where is Naruto exactly?' Asked Sai.

'He is dealing with a sensitive issue elsewhere it seems.' Said Kakashi.

'Ah, so Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning or Waterfall then?' Asked Fuka.

Kakashi took a quick glance at Fuka, who was smirking.

'Water.' Said Kakashi simply, giving Fuka another look.

'Itachi's spy, remember. I know a lot more about him than I let on.' Said Fuka teasingly.

'How quaint. You are also a stalker, coupled with being a decrepit woman.' Said Sai.

'For the record, he has an actual stalker and it isn't me. As for decrepit, how about this decrepit lady grinds you to dust.' Said Fuka menacingly.

'That's quite all right, I wouldn't want you to overexert yourself and fracture your hip.' Said Sai, with a smile, causing Fuka to grind her teeth.

'Look, the coffins!' Cried Sora, spotting the coffins from the tombs that had been plundered, somehow, cruising through the ground.

The group shot off after the coffins, trying to retrieve them, only for them to sink into the ground. All of a sudden, the ground started to shift. The entire landscape started to change and before anyone could stop it, the group had been split up.

'Hmm, this seems rather familiar.' Said Fuka calmly.

'It should be, you traitor.' Said a gruff voice.

A man with short, messy black hair, approached Fuka. He had strange triangular markings on each of his cheeks and wore a robe adorned with stripped patterns.

'Ah, Fudou. I'd say nice to see you, but it really isn't.' Said Fuka mockingly.

'It is most displeasing to have to see your scanty figure once again.' Added a feminine voice.

The voice came from behind Fuka and she turned around to see the person. The woman had long and shiny dark brown hair and wore spherical earnings. She had blue eyes and wore a choker around her neck, coupled with red lipstick. Her outfit consisted of a magenta qipao, decorated with black and tan stripes.

'Fuen, lovely to see… well not really. I can't even fake being pleasant, since my infiltration mission dealing with the two of you was so dull.' Said Fuka, before turning back to Fudou.

'That is also why I'm not a traitor, since I was never on your side to begin with.' Finished Fuka.

'All the same, you defecting like that forced us to modify the plan. However, there remains the simple matter of eliminating you now, so no one will know of our intentions.' Said Fudou calmly.

Fuka laughed into her right hand.

'Do you honestly think either of you are a match for me? Even together, the two of you are nothing but fodder for me. I'll give you the chance now to leave. If you accept my gracious offer, I won't have to kill you.' Said Fuka arrogantly.

'Unfortunately, the only one dying here today is you.' Said Fuen, before multiple stone spears shot at Fuka.

Fuka flipped in the air, only for Fudou to already be above her, his hand covered in his signature Rock Armour.

Fuka merely smirked as a burst of electricity shot from her left hand at him, causing his technique to crumble, stunning him. This proved to be a costly mistake, as Fuka then puffed her cheeks out and shot a pressurised stream of water at Fudou, launching him into the roof of the cave they were in.

Fuka touched down on the ground calmly, as Fudou's form plummeted to the ground and slammed into it roughly, kicking up dust. When it cleared, Fudou was revealed to be on his left knee, with his right fist planted in front of him. Fuen quickly moved closer to the two, preparing her next attack, only for Fuka's words to stop her cold.

'I see, you two are just as pathetic as I remember. Truly, you are both disgraces and I will happily end your lives now. You plan is stupid and simple minded. Not to mention, between the two of you, you don't even have half the power I do, so allow me to put you both out of your misery.' Said Fuka, with a smirk, before lightning started to arc off her form.

'I'll deal with you first, Fudou, as you always did annoy me the most. Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!' Cried Fuka, as a massive wave of electricity burst from her form, spreading in all directions.

Fudou leapt in the air, trying to dodge the attack, only for the water that he had been previously attacked with, to attract the current right to him. Fudou felt immense pain course through his body, before his heart stopped beating. Fudou plummeted to the ground, gasping for breath, weakly trying to move.

'At least die with some dignity.' Scoffed Fuka, throwing a kunai, with an explosive tag attached to it, at Fudou.

Fuen looked on fearfully, as her partner's body was blown to bits.

'Now then, Fuen, it's your turn.' Said Fuka teasingly.

'T-this is impossible… how are you this strong? You were meant to be the weakest among the three of us.' Questioned Fuen fearfully.

'I'm a spy sweetie, a good one. Hiding things is my game. It isn't my fault the two of you were so arrogant and self-absorbed, that neither of you realised I was actually fooling you from the very beginning.' Said Fuka, with a smirk.

Fuen looked at Fuka in fear, her body trembling slightly, as the redhead advanced on her.

'You can still flee if you want to. I really don't care what happens to either of you. Both of you were the ones who took my, so called defection, personally.' Said Fuka.

Fuen looked at Fuka. Her face seemed genuine. Perhaps Fuen could really flee after all. This whole plan was half baked at best and Fuen didn't want to throw her life away over a grudge. Fuen gave Fuka one last look, as she regained her cool, before turning to leave, only to feel six kunai thud into her back. Fuen dropped to her knees, but slowly angled her head back, to try and see Fuka. She could hear her low-heeled boots slowly approaching her form. Fuen tried to get up and flee, but found herself immobile.

'Sorry Fuen, but I am a spy and a ninja. It wouldn't do for people who are aware of this, to be too numerous in number, especially if they aren't my allies. It would make future infiltrations harder after all. No hard feelings, but you won't be leaving here today. Don't worry though, I'll be gentler with you than I was with Fudou. After all, I need a bit of earth chakra and I'd rather not get it from him.' Said Fuka, causing Fuen's eyes to widen in fear, as she locked gazes with Fuka.

'Oh come on, don't give me that look. It won't hurt a bit, your death will be completely painless, what more could you ask for?' Questioned Fuka rhetorically, before dropping down onto her left knee and gently grasping Fuen's face.

'It really is nothing personal though, I hope you can at least accept that this is simply business.' Said Fuka, before pressing her lips to Fuen's.

When Fuka's tongue entered Fuen's mouth she felt a strange sensation. Her entire body seemed to be losing its strength. A blue strand of chakra was coming out of Fuen's mouth and going straight into Fuka's. Fuen felt herself grow gradually weaker and weaker, before her eyes started to close. As Fuen's eyes started to flutter to a close, she saw the last traces of chakra coming out of her mouth disappear into Fuka's.

'Pleasure doing business with you.' Said Fuka, with a smile, before Fuen collapsed to the ground, dead.

Fuka then stood up, pulled out an explosive tag and dropped it on Fuen's form, before walking away. Fuka raised her left arm into the air and stretched by grasping it with her right arm, just under the elbow.

'Ah, it always feels so good when I get some fresh chakra. The clean-up is so annoying though.' Said Fuka, before flaring her chakra, causing the explosive tag to activate, before exploding, vaporising Fuen's form.

'Annoying. Not to mention, I have to waste my special explosive tags, so no one ever tracks these things back to me… ah, oh well, a fair sacrifice I guess.' Said Fuka tiredly.

A small spike of chakra caused Fuka to instantly become alert.

"Hmm, so Furido is here after all, I should go say hello." Thought Fuka cheerfully, before heading towards the chakra spike.

Furido was currently staring at the one person he actually needed for his backup plan to work, his son, Sora. Of course, said son didn't even know that he was sitting next to his father, nor that he was instrumental for his plan, should his main plan fail. After all, Sora knew that his father, Kazuma, was dead. There was no reason for him to suspect that Furido, was actually Kazuma, going by a different name.

Furido had been jovially taunting Sora, seeking to bring out his fighting abilities, to test him. His claw was rather weak, but Furido entertained him with his staff, before feeling Fudou's chakra disappear. Unintentionally, Furido struck Sora harshly, winding the monk and causing him to drop to his knees.

"With Fudou gone, things have just been complicated greatly." Thought Furido, before a moment later, he felt Fuen's chakra disappear as well.

"Tch, guess plan B is coming into things sooner than I wanted." Thought Furido in annoyance.

'You know, Sora, you hold great potential. Within your body, is an immense power, one with which you can bring peace to the Land of Fire. I know that sounds odd, coming from me, but it is the truth.' Said Furido jovially.

'No. This is not something I want. This power is a curse… I trust Naruto, he'll get rid of it for me and then I can be normal… I have to trust him.' Huffed Sora.

'Why would you want to weaken yourself? You have unlimited potential. The potential to do anything you ever wanted.' Questioned Furido.

'No, I don't want this power, this potential, whatever it is.' Said Sora firmly.

'I see… I'm disappointed. I truly wanted you to be strong like me, but I guess that apple fell a bit too far from the tree.' Said Furido, causing Sora to shot up in shock.

'What are you saying?' Shouted Sora.

'I'm saying, that as your father, I'm disappointed in you, but have no fear, you are still very useful for my plans.' Said Furido.

Sora was stunned and therefore, unable to react as Furido slammed his fingers into his gut. Sora's mind was churning, so much so, that he didn't feel the first vestiges of corrosive chakra swelling within him.

'So, there you are, Furido, or should I call you Kazuma?' Asked Fuka, arriving with Sai, Kakashi and Chiriku.

'Kazuma? But he died long ago.' Said Chiriku in confusion.

'Afraid not old friend, but don't worry, you'll be buried along with the others soon enough.' Said Furido calmly, as Sora gave an ear-piercing scream.

Red malevolent chakra leaked out from him, shooting high into the air.

'Get back!' Shouted Kakashi, to which the other three leapt back about a metre.

'You cannot hope to stop this, Leaf ninja. Sora will become my instrument of revolution and eliminate the Leaf Village. It took all the Fourth Hokage had to stop the Kyuubi the first time, this time though, no one will be able to stop it.' Said Furido bloodthirstily, giving a maniacal laugh at the end.

Sora's form was soon shrouded in a chakra cloak, causing Kakashi to unveil his Sharingan, in an attempt to suppress the power, only to find himself unsuccessful.

'Impossible!' Shouted Kakashi in worry.

'Well, from my understanding, the Sharingan works by controlling the Kyuubi's will. Since that is only its chakra, you can't suppress it with the Sharingan.' Said Fuka calmly.

'Flee while you still can, shinobi, for your death is coming soon.' Said Furido ominously, as Sora sprouted a chakra tail from his chakra cloak.

'Perhaps we should retreat for now, Kakashi. This situation is not favourable for us.' Suggested Chiriku.

'That would be the smart thing to do.' Added Fuka in agreement.

Kakashi frowned under his mask, before giving a small nod. The four quickly retreated after that, leaving Furido to laugh.

'Soon, there will only be one king. One king, as there should be.' Said Furido happily, as a second tail started to grow out of Sora's chakra cloak.

After that, the Leaf ninja had returned to their village as quickly as possible, to inform Tsunade of the situation, only for the duo of father and beastly son to follow them. The guards at the gates had panicked upon seeing a tailed beast approaching them and the entire village had readied itself immediately.

'Kakashi, just once, can't your team have a normal mission?' Asked Tsunade in exasperation, as the creature stared down at them.

'Well, it seems to be bad luck on my part. Sorry about that.' Said Kakashi sheepishly.

'Uh huh… where exactly is that brat anyway? With Jiraiya gone, he is probably the only other person who can stop that thing.' Said Tsunade in annoyance.

'I'm sure he'll be here any minute now.' Said Kakashi calmly, even though he was quite nervous under the surface.

Suddenly, as if a deity was on Kakashi's side, a flash of crimson appeared in front of them all, staring down the hulking form of the eight tailed beast.

'Impossible! Has the Fourth come back to save us?' Questioned a random ninja.

'No, but his son just might!' Shouted Naruto, staring back at the crowd of gathered ninja.

There was a stunned silence among some of the ninja, who hadn't spotted the obvious. Tsunade meanwhile, had just slapped her left hand over her forehead.

'Damn brat just loves to give me massive headaches, doesn't he?' Muttered Tsunade in annoyance.

'Well, you aren't as young as you once were.' Teased Fuka.

Tsunade glowered at Fuka.

Furido looked at the new arrival in curiosity.

'And who might you be, to believe you can stand up against the might of the Kyuubi?' Questioned Furido.

'Only the actual holder of the Kyuubi, you know, nothing special.' Said Naruto nonchalantly, causing Furido to look at him in shock.

'Yeah, so if you don't mind, I'm going to stop Sora now. I promised him I'd help after all.' Said Naruto, before quickly forming two clones, one on either side of him.

'Just like before.' Said Naruto, before the three of them starting pumping chakra into a condensed area, around the original Naruto's hand.

Sora roared however, before bringing a tail down on Naruto's position. The clones were dispelled, unable to avoid the attack and Naruto quickly released his hold on his jutsu, lest it blow up in his face.

'So you're not going to make this easy on me, huh Sora? That's fine. I've fought with one giant fox already, a second won't be a problem.' Said Naruto confidently.

'For the record, I did go easy on you. After all, I wanted you to win, just not too easily.' Said Kurama.

"You still lost, just accept it." Said Naruto flatly.

'Don't push it Naruto, otherwise we'll need to go another round. My pride is at stake here after all.' Said Kurama matter-of-factly.

"Look, can we just deal with the fake Kyuubi first? After that, we can discuss our fight properly." Proposed Naruto.

'Alright then. Prepare for a cloak.' Said Kurama, before sending his chakra through to Naruto.

Naruto was slowly covered in the same cloak as Sora had been previously, sprouting a tail. As the second tail emerged, the onlooking shinobi were getting fearful.

'Oh no, as if one fox wasn't bad enough, now we have two crazed beasts to deal with!' Exclaimed a random ninja.

'I take offence to that, I'm in complete control here.' Growled Naruto, glaring at the ninja who had just spoken, as a third tail sprouted.

Sora roared and swung his tails at Naruto again, causing him to leap high into the sky.

'Version two?' Asked Kurama.

"Version two.' Confirmed Naruto, as the fourth tail sprouted and the shroud thickened, hiding Naruto from view, as he landed back on the ground.

Sora roared once more, gathering chakra near his mouth. Tiny balls of red, blue and black chakra coalesced around his gaping maw, before Sora swallowed the attack and crushed the ground under him, due to a sudden increase in his weight.

"That's not good." Thought Naruto, before charging Sora.

Sora prepared to open his mouth and unleash the devastating attack, only for five tails to wrap around his snout, keeping it clamped shut. The energy inside Sora swelled, before a large explosion occurred within Sora, sending him away from Naruto, who was blown back by the shock wave of the attack. Sora gave an angry roar, as smoke escaped his maw.

"Let's go to six Kurama. That should be enough." Thought Naruto.

Kurama obliged and pushed in more of his chakra, causing Naruto to form the same skeleton Sora had possessed only minutes prior.

Naruto then leapt at Sora and tackled him, sending him crashing to the ground and causing the ground to shake. Naruto wrapped his tails around Sora's limbs, leaving two free, as he gathered chakra in his mouth.

Sora somehow instinctively matched what Naruto was doing and gathered chakra as well.

'Oh this is going to be bad.' Muttered Kakashi, his Sharingan quickly taking its Mangekyo form.

Both titanic behemoths unleashed a wave of chakra at the other, with only a metre in between them. The explosion was deafening and very nearly, could have wiped out the entire village, had it not been for Kakashi's quick use of Kamui, which absorbed part of the explosion that had been blasted towards the Leaf Village. Kakashi quickly dropped to a knee after doing so, indicating he was spent.

'I really hope they don't do that again.' Muttered Kakashi tiredly, covering his eye again with his headband.

'I'm sure Naruto will finish things up soon.' Said Fuka optimistically.

'Just what exactly makes you believe he can do that?' Asked Sai curiously.

'Just watch.' Said Fuka.

Sora head-butted Naruto, causing his tails to release him, before heaving Naruto off him and jumping back. Naruto inwardly grumbled, rolling off his back and onto his paws, watching Sora in front of him doing the same, tails waving behind him angrily.

Naruto stared Sora down, before swirling wind chakra around himself.

"Ready for a big bang, Kurama?" Asked Naruto teasingly.

'Show them your power.' Said Kurama coolly.

The fox shroud smirked as Naruto's entire form was enveloped in a swirling mass of wind.

'Tailed Beast Bullet!' Roared Naruto, as he charged at Sora.

The gathered ninja looked on in shock, as Naruto's form shot at Sora with immense speed, blasting him kilometres away, far from the village. The crowd looked, on as the two titans continued to clash in the distance, with Naruto having the upper hand. The hope they had been feeling quickly shifted to dismay, as the beginnings of a ninth tail started to sprout from Sora's form.

"Kurama, are you ready for the surge?" Asked Naruto.

'Ready, but first, let's push you to eight tails.' Said Kurama.

Naruto's form quickly sprouted two more tails, causing him to grow muscle and flesh, just as Sora possessed. Sora, meanwhile, was beginning to grow fur and enlarging at a rapid pace. He had just passed fifty metres in height and was still growing rapidly.

Sora's form stopped growing at around seventy five metres, before beginning to become more defined.

'Now!' Roared Kurama.

Naruto quickly tackled Sora, wrapping his tails around his entire form in a firm embrace, locking their bodies together. Naruto then gave a loud roar as he began drawing the chakra out of Sora, with Kurama aiding, by forming a resonance point for his chakra to return to. The chakra Sora possessed recognised the familiar will tugging at it and instantly became submissive, quickly moving from Sora, to Naruto, before reaching Kurama.

Sora slowly started to lose his tails and his features continued reverting back. First the fur disappeared, then the muscles dissolved away leaving bone. Eventually, the bones crumbled to dust, leaving a bloody shroud, before the version two cloak turned into a version one cloak with only three tails. As Sora's form shrank, still being held within Naruto's tails, Naruto's slowly shrank with Sora's, always keeping one more tail than Sora held. As Sora lost his final tail, Naruto used his last tail, which was wrapped around Sora's waist, to gently lower him to the ground. The remaining chakra cloak surrounding Sora then quickly dissipated, leaving Sora with only a wisp of red chakra around him, which quickly flowed towards Naruto.

Sora was severely burned now, but the last vestiges of Kurama's chakra kick-started the healing process, before leaving Sora completely. With a bit of medical Ninjutsu, Sora would be fine though. Naruto was untouched and as the last bit of chakra reached his form, his own cloak disappeared as well.

"Well Kurama, let's hope you can do something will all of that because that was exhausting." Thought Naruto tiredly.

'Have no fear, this is well worth the effort.' Said Kurama calmly.

"Great." Thought Naruto, before picking up Sora's form and made his way back to the Leaf.

Once everyone started to come into focus, Naruto noticed that the white haired man who had spoken to him before, was tied up. Standing over him was Asuma. Naruto shrugged this bit of information off, before making his way to Tsunade.

'He needs to be healed. Aside from that though, he no longer has any more of Kyuubi's chakra. I took it all in.' Said Naruto, placing Sora down by Tsunade's feet.

'And where exactly were you during this mission?' Asked Tsunade, with a glare.

'I'll explain later, for now though, I'm taking a nap.' Said Naruto, before falling backwards.

Naruto never reached the floor though, as Fuka had gotten behind him and caught his form, resting it against hers.

"I've been watching you for months now Naruto, but even still, you still surprise me. No wonder Itachi saw so much hope in you. Maybe you really will end the bloodshed. Maybe you will fix everything. Only time will tell I guess, but I'll be sure to be close by." Thought Fuka fondly.

'You can put him down now old hag, I'm sure your decrepit bones can't handle holding him for much longer.' Said Sai, with a smile.

'You just ruined a perfectly good moment.' Scowled Fuka.

'My apologies, I forget that in your advanced age, you are not much longer for this world, I'll try to be more considerate.' Said Sai.

'In any case, let's get these two brats somewhere I can heal them. Everyone else, go back to whatever you were doing, the threat is over!' Ordered Tsunade, with everyone swiftly moving to obey.

'Well Pein, what now?' Asked Tobi calmly, standing outside the tallest tower in Rain.

'It is time we make our move. It must be a strong one though.' Said Pein.

'Perhaps I may be of some assistance.' Said a firm voice, startling the two.

The figure approached them without fear and stood a metre away from them, shrouded in the darkness.

'Speak peasant, you are in the domain of God.' Said Pein firmly.

'Or, in other words, tell us who you are and what you want, before we kill you.' Added Tobi.

'I want to help you purify the world and end the bloodshed. Create a new land under one rule.' Said the man.

'As for who I am.' Said the man, before taking a few steps forward into the light, revealing his form.

'I am Danzo Shimura.' Said Danzo, speaking with his eyes closed.

As he opened his eyes, he stared at the duo, with two Sharingan eyes, spinning hypnotically.

So, as you can see, we are getting really close to the Akatsuki attack and now Danzo is back. If you are wondering how, there was a brief paragraph a couple chapters ago, which alluded to the fact that Danzo used Izanami, but needed to sacrifice Shisui's eye to do it. For obvious reasons, he didn't make his presence known in the village, as how is he supposed to explain it? That, and the fact that he has a bunch of Sharingan.
Once again, feedback is appreciated. Next update might take a little bit longer, as Uni is starting up soon, but it shouldn't be too long.
