Dwight and Sylvie's POV:
Sylvie sat on her motorcycle and looked at Dwight as he came out. "So this is some sort of test from Negan?" she asked.
"No, it was my suggestion," Dwight answered. "Come on," he said as he pushed his motorcycle to the gate. "What do we have Arat?"
"Gordon, he disappeared with a truck," she answered as she looked at Sylive. "Why is she going?"
"I was wondering the same thing," Sylvie answered.
"It doesn't concern you, she's going, with Negan's approval. Open up the gate," Dwight instructed.
Arat gave her a one last glance at Sylvie before opening up the gate.
Sylvie followed Dwight out, both starting their motorcycles. Sylvie followed Dwight for a few miles before she slowed down her motorcycle before coming to a complete stop. It didn't take long before Dwight turned around and stopped. "I'm not going any further until you tell me exactly what I'm doing out here."
"We don't have time for this Sylvie," Dwight told her.
Sylvie smirked. "I think I have all the time in the world. I mean, do you really think I want to help you get Gordon back? I think both of us know that, I'd be the first to do anything to help him or anyone else, get out of there. So, why am I out here Dwight?"
Dwight sighed. "You are going to make a pick up with us, you're first, probably you're last. For some reason, you want to do this, and as your friend, I wanted to give you some practice on your poker face."
"You and I are not friends, Dwight. Negan uses friendships against people. Plus, I usually don't stay friends with someone who betrays me," Sylvie told him.
"It was nothing personal, Syl. We did what we had to do. Just like you have to do this, for survival. So come on, we need to play the game, we need to bring Gordon back, weather you like it or not," Dwight told her. "We've wasted enough time," he said as he started his bike and nodded as Sylvie started hers. They followed the medium route, otherwise known as the Angel. Dwight nodded up ahead as he saw the truck. He sped up to go in front of it, as Sylvie followed from behind. She saw the truck go to make a hard reverse, causing her to try to avoid it's path, making her fall off her bike. She picked herself up as she saw Dwight speed up to block the truck. She picked up the motorcycle and watched as Dwight went to block him off but was cut off as Gordon turned the truck in Dwight's direction, causing him to fall and ditch the bike.
"Dwight!" Sylvie yelled as she ran over to him. "Are you alright?" she asked as she went to help him.
"Go after him!" Dwight said as he started to get up, grimacing as he grabbed his arm.
"If you didn't notice, I was off my bike before you were. You're hurt, let's go back to the Sanctuary," Sylvie offered.
"No. We're going to bring him back! This is what I meant," he said as he grabbed his bike. "You want to survive, you want Sampson to survive, you have to play the game, and this is the game. We are not going back without him. We are both responsible for bringing him in, weather you like it or not," Dwight said.
"I don't," Sylvie said as she pushed her motorcycle along side of him. "You are hurt," she reminded him.
"It doesn't matter, we are bringing him back," Dwight told her.
Sanctuary POV:
Sampson sighed as he led savior's down the hall after Fat Joey ad left Daryl's door to his cell unlocked. He had hoped that Daryl was smart enough to know tat this was a trap, but he couldn't blame the man for trying to escape.
Daryl crept down the hall of the Sanctuary, ducking behind a corner as he saw the group coming down the hallway. He started to open up a door before he was grabbed by the back of his shirt. He went to punch that person but saw it was Sherry and lowered his hand.
"Go back, while you can. You know I did. Whatever he's done to you, there's more. There's always more. I know that Sylvie has been to see you, I don't know what she said to you, but we both know what Negan can do, what he has done. You won't get away, and when you're back, it'll be worse," Sherry said. She sighed as Daryl looked at her and walked toward the door.
Daryl ran outside and toward the group of motorcycles. He sees a group of Savior's come out the door, and tries to run but is surrounded by them and there guns.
Negan comes out whistling. "Are we pissing out pants yet?" he asked. "Who are you?" he questioned as he pointed to Fat Joey.
"Negan," Joey answered.
"Who are you?" Negan asked as he pointed to Sampson.
"Negan," Sampson quickly answered.
Negan bent backwards , holding out his hands motioning to the group. "Who are you?"
"Negan," they all answered.
"See that? I am everywhere. And this was your shot to prove to me that fundamental fact was sinking in and you failed, which sucks cause your life was about to get so much cooler. Am I right?" Negan asked.
"Damn right," Fat Joey answered.
Negan walked over to Daryl and put down Lucille next to his bare foot causing Daryl to move backward, he put the bat down on the other side of him before he sighed and stepped back. "Now Dwight gave you some options. I don't think you get it yet, so I'm going to break it down for you. You get three choices. One you wind up on the spike and you work for me as a dead man. Two, you get out of your cell, you work for points, but you're gonna wish you were dead. Or three, you work for me, you get yourself a brand new pair of shoes and you live like a king! Choice seems pretty obvious. You should know there is no door number 4. This is it, this is the only way," he said as he laughed. "Screw it," he says as he raised the bat looking like he was going to use it on Daryl. "Wow, you don't scare easy, I love that," he complimented him as he didn't blink. "But Lucille, well it kind of pisses her off. She finds it to be disrespectful. Lucky for you, she's not feeling too thirsty today. But I am, so I'm gonna get a drink," he said as he walked away whistling. The savior's surrounded Daryl and proceeded to beat him.
Dwight and Sylvie's POV:
Dwight pushed his motorcycle down a deserted road. Sylvie walked quietly beside him. Dwight nodded at Sylvie as he saw the man they were following, fighting a walker. He put down his motorcycle and tackled the man. Sylvie killed the walker as Dwight pointed his gun at Gordon. "Let's go," he ordered.
"Dwight you can tell him you never found me," Gordon said. "Sylvie, you know you don't want to take me back."
"It doesn't matter what she wants, it's what Negan wants. You know that," Dwight said. "I'm screwed up, my bike's screwed up, Sylvie's face is scraped up. And you're going back because you owe a whole hell of a lot more. Was it worth it?" Dwight asked as he walked behind Gordon.
"Just let me go," Gordon begged.
"I can't," Dwight said as he glanced over at Sylvie. "We can't," he amended.
"Why?" Gordon asked.
"Shut up," Dwight ordered.
"We used to be friendly," Gordon reminded him.
"Shut up," Dwight repeated.
"Dwight," Sylvie spoke softly.
"I'm handling this," Dwight told her.
"After everything he did to you, to your wife," Gordon started to say.
"Don't talk about her!" Dwight ordered. "She's not my wife," Dwight reminded him.
"Not anymore," Gordon said.
"She's not Negan's either," Sylvie mumbled under her breath.
Dwight pointed the gun in Gordon's face. "Look there's no where to go. Everything's his or will be," he said.
"I know," Gordon answered.
"Even Sylvie is learning that no matter how hard she fights, she's starting to get it," Dwight said. "Keep walking. I said keep walking!" Dwight ordered.
"It's OK," Gordon said.
Sylvie looked at Gordon. "What are you talking about?"Sylvie asked.
"It's OK, if you do it. I get it. Hell, I want you to. Please," Gordon said.
"Shut up, keep walking," Dwight said.
"I can't go back," Gordon said.
"You will, because that's the only way. And don't look at Sylvie, she isn't going to help you. She can't, we can't. You are going back, it's the only way," Dwight repeated.
"See that's what he tells us, that there's no choice, no way but his way. Thug swoops in with a baseball bat and a smile and we're all so scared, that we gave up everything. But there's only one of him and all of us, so why are we living like this?" Gordon asked.
"Because look at where we are, we were losing, now we're not," Dwight answered.
"If you call this winning," Sylvie said.
"You know, after me and Maria survived those first few months, when we got there, we thought it would be OK. We thought we knew how to fight the monsters," he said as he went on his knees.
"Gordon, get up. This isn't the way," Sylvie said.
"It's the only way," Gordon told her.
"Get up!" Dwight ordered.
"You feel," Gordon told him.
"Get up," Dwight ordered again.
"I remember D. And Sylvie, you know you disagree with this, with him," Gordon told her.
"I'll put every person you ever talked to on the fence. I'll blind fold them, and I'll make them eat shit sandwiches the rest of there short sorry lives. I'll dig up your dead wife and feed her body to the crows," he threatened. "You feel that?"
Sylvie looked at Gordon with sympathy.
Gordon stood up. "OK D, you won, but you know there's nothing left," he said as he got up.
"You didn't have to bring up Maria," Sylvie said as they watched Gordon walk away. "You know what will happen if he goes back, the same thing that happened to us," she said.
Dwight pointed the gun at Gordon's head and shot him. "To bad he attacked you and I had to shoot him," Dwight said as he nodded at her as they left.
Update: They reached a deal and I go back to work Monday. I get to pay my people.
