All Nightmare Long
Chapter 513
Author's Note: First things first, I love the new Judith. That's my girl, well Jewel's girl. Second, I know how Rick is staying. I was just thinking to myself last weekend how I could easily get rid of Michonne and it wouldn't disrupt my story since her arc is null and void with Jewel being around. Then it was announced Michonne was leaving in Season 10. Wa La problem solved. Rick stays, family isn't torn apart like they are. Thirdly, I want to get Negan to Alexandria, but I have to check in on the Kingdom. Review please.
Kingdom:
Dharia looked to the exit that Carol and Morgan left from and turned to the King. "I don't think she was that impressed with you your Heiness," she told him. "And I think you shocked her, Shiva, but you shock everyone," she told the tiger, who gave her a grunt in response. "I was just teasing, Shiva."
"It is a lot to take in," Ezekiel answered.
"What has Morgan told you about why they were out there?" Dharia questioned the King.
"He has not said much. He seems sincere in his concern with his friend, and she needed help, we are able to provide that help," the King told her. "Do you think there is more?"
"There's always more, King. She needs rest, and I doubt she is one who will do it willingly. I should go and offer to take her back to the infirmary," the woman offered.
Ezekiel nodded. "You have good instincts, and I trust you. If you think you can ease whatever is troubling Carol, please try."
Dharia laughed. "I'm a teacher, not a miracle worker, King. I'm also a woman and if we don't want to talk, we're not going to," she told him.
The King gave a short nod. "Please tell Morgan that his assistance is required on a run."
Dharia nodded. "Of course, King," she said as she turned to leave.
Morgan and Carol's POV:
Morgan stopped the wheel chair and went in front of Carol. "Look, I know," he started to say.
"You're shitting me right?" Carol demanded to know.
"It's a lot, he's...I don't...know he..." Morgan tried to explain.
"Stop!" Carol demanded. "Stop this. This place is a damn circus, all of it," she said as she looked around. "These people, it's make believe, it's playtime! And you're just..." she couldn't continue without laughing. "I can't do this, I can't be here," she told him.
"Look, Carol, these people..." Morgan tried to explain.
"No, I can't Morgan, I won't. I'll wait and when you aren't there to stop me, when no one else is, I'll go," Carol told him.
"You know I can't let you, no, I..." Morgan started to say.
"You'll what? Tie me up like that wolf? Is that it? It isn't up to you. It wasn't before in the basement, it wasn't at the library and it isn't now. I don't give a shit if you think you've found the secret to life," Carol told him.
"I don't, and I haven't," Morgan told her. "And I know what I started, but I won't let you die out there. That's what I won't do," he told her.
"Doesn't matter what you do," Carol told him.
"What about the people in Alexandria? Your family? They told me, Rick and Jewel, how you saved them, saved everyone at Terminus. I promised them that I would bring you back," Morgan told her.
"I told them, all of them, to leave me alone, to let me go. Just like I'm telling you, just go back to Alexandria, just tell them...tell them whatever you need to tell them to clear your conscious, but leave me alone. What happens to me, that's my decision. Not yours, not Rick's, not Jewel's, mine. And it doesn't matter what you do, who you tell to keep an eye on me, it doesn't matter. I'll find a way," Carol told him.
Morgan didn't say anything before starting to push her wheelchair away. He walked a bit in silence before Dharia caught up with them. "Dharia," Morgan greeted.
"The King needs your help for a run, Morgan. I can take Carol the rest of the way," Dharia said with a smile.
"Oh I can make it by myself, I wouldn't want to put anyone out," Carol answered.
"Nonsense," Dharia said as she took the wheelchair from Morgan. "I'm married to the Doctor, so it's not putting me out. Carol will be in good hands, Morgan, it's not good to keep the King waiting," she told the man.
Morgan looked at Carol. "I'll see you later, Carol," Morgan said as he walked away.
"You have a good friend in Morgan," Dharia told her as she pushed her.
"Yeah, he is a wonderful friend," Carol said with a forced smile.
"He saved your life," Dharia told her.
"I'll be always grateful," she responded.
"Are you?" Dharia asked.
"Why wouldn't I be? To have a friend that risked his life to save mine," Carol told her.
"Some time people give up, going out there alone, just to end it," Dharia told her.
"I was on a supply run, it went bad," Carol said.
"Yeah, they do that," Dharia answered as she pushed her in to the infirmary.
Kingdom Knights:
Drake fixed his armor as the Knights were getting to go on a run with Ezekiel.
"Head's up, your sister is heading over," Richard warned.
Drake sighed. "Thanks," he said as he went over to her. "We're getting ready to leave, Tory, what can I do for you?"
"Did you ask?" the fifteen year old asked her older brother.
"Ask? Ask what?" Drake asked.
"Come on, Drake, you know you were supposed to ask the King if I could go on the next supply run. This is the next supply run. Ben has been going for the past year, and I can handle a sword better than Ben. So did you ask?" Tory asked as she crossed her arms.
"It must have slipped my mind," Drake teased.
"Seriously?" Tory asked.
King Ezekiel stopped as he passed by. "Drake, you should not hold the fair maiden in suspense. She has earned her spot to come on this supply run," he told her.
Tory hit his arm. "You are the worst big brother in the history of big brothers!" she told him.
"Well, you know I still can decide you can't go, since I am your brother," Drake warned with a smile.
Ezekiel laughed. "You will stay beside your brother, and you will listen. We do not want any harm to come to you."
"Of course, this is my first, so of course, I will listen. First of many," Tory added.
"Let's get this one out of the way first," Drake warned as Morgan came over. "Morgan, I don't think you've met my sister, Tory. This is her first time going out with us."
"It's nice to meet you, Tory," Morgan said as he extended his hand.
Tory shook it. "Nice to meet you too."
"Hey Tory, come over here and get some armor," Jerry told her.
"Go on," Drake said as he shook his head.
"She seems excited," Morgan told him.
"To excited, I'm afraid," Drake said as he looked after her.
