All Nightmare Long

Chapter 118

Author's Note: It's time to get Negan into Alexandria. Jes has been yelling at me for a while. She can be annoying when she doesn't get her way. There's not a whole lot of change in the beginning. Please review.

Alexandria:

Rosita pulled up to the gate in a car with Spencer. "Can you open the gate? Eugene?" she asked.

Lexi turned at the table. "Where are you heading?"

"We're out to find anything for when they come, want to come?" Spenser asked.

"I don't think I'd be up to that," Eugene answered.

"Yeah sounds about right," Rosita said.

"I'll go," Lexi told them.

"I don't know if that is a good idea," Spencer said.

"She's better out there than you are," Rosita said. "Grab your bag," she told her. "So what is so important that you can't help Eugene?"

"I'm repairing this portable audio system for them. We'll have a perfectly respectable music player when they arrive. I'm dealing in certainities and I'm doing my part to give them what they want," Eugene said.

"What if they don't want a music player?" Lexi asked.

"It would be foolish of them to turn something like that down," Eugene answered.

Rosita and Spencer got out of the car as they heard vehicles approach. "I guess we're going to find out," Spencer said.

"Go to the house," Rosita told Lexi. "Tell Rick and Jewel that Negan is here, go help with the kids."

Lexi looked like she was hesitating before Negan got out of his vehicle. "Alright," she said before going.

Negan approached the gate whisteling. "Little pig, little pig, let me in," he said as he pounded Lucille on the gate. "Well?" he asked as he looked at Spencer.

"Uh...who are you?" Spencer asked as he looked at him.

"Oh you better be joking," Negan exclaimed. "Negan, Lucille," he said as he held Lucille up. "I know I had to make a pretty strong first impression," he told him.

Jewel and Rick walked up, Jewel putting her hand on Spencer's shoulder nodding him to move out of the way. "You'll have to forgive him, Negan, he hasn't met you."

"Please tell me that you told him about me," Negan said as he looked at Jewel. He looked at Rick as he started opening the gate. "Well hello there. Do not make me have to ask," he told Rick.

"You said a week, you're early," Rick said as he opened the gate.

"I missed you," Negan said as he winked at Jewel. "And I certainly missed you Jewel."

"I'm glad I hadn't ate it, otherwise I would have thrown up my breakfast," Jewel said.

Rick glanced at Jewel then at Negan who started lauging. "See she says crap like that, it's endearing. Oh, Rick come on out here, watch this," he said as a he whistled at a walker, taking it out with Lucille. "Easy peasy, lemon squeezy," he said with a grin. "Alright, everybody, let's get started. Big day," he said as his savior's got near the gate, including Daryl.

Jewel bit her lip as she slightly turned but turned back as Negan started to talk to them.

"Hey Rick, Jewel, you see that? What I just did, that is some service. I mean we almost get turned away at the gate. Who is that guy anyway? Do I get mad, do I throw a fit? Do I bash some gingers dome in? Nope. I just take care of one of these dead pricks that could have killed one of you all," Negan told them. "Service," he said as he grinned. "Hold this," he said as he handed him Lucille.

"I'll hold the bat for you, Negan," Jewel told him.

Negan laughed. "I bet you would," he said. "I bet you would." He went in the gate with Rick, Jewel glanced back at Daryl, taking a breath. "Hot diggy dog, this place is magnificent , of riches as they say. Yes sir, I do believe that you are going to have plenty to offer up," he said.

Jewel couldn't hold it any longer. "Daryl," she said as she turned to go to him. Rick started to turn to go with her.

"No, nope, he's the help. You don't look at him, you don't talk to him, and I don't make Rick here chop anything off of him. Understood, Jewel?" Negan asked.

Jewel looked at him, not saying anything.

"Oh come on Jewel, I know you're smarter than the prick you're married too. Don't make me ask again," Negan informed her.

"He's my brother, you can't expect me to stand here, not even check on him...you can't ask me to do that," Jewel told him.

"I can, and I am," Negan said. "Sylvie, front and center," he bellowed as a woman approached. "This is Sylvie, she's going to make sure that you are going to behave yourself. Believe it or not, I actually like you so I would hate for you to do something stupid," he told her.

"So she's going to shoot me if I try to talk to my brother?" Jewel asked.

"Jewel," Rick said in a warning voice.

Negan laughed. "It's ok Rick, I know that bringing Daryl here would tick Jewel here off. Tell you what, you all behave, and I may give you a minute or two," Negan told Jewel. "Now for the rest of you, no one looks or talks to the help," he said as he walked over to Rosita. "Understood?"

Rosita looked at him, holding in her temper before walking away.

"Woah a lot of suspense there, I don't think she even knows how much," Negan said.

Jes POV:

Jes stood off on the edge of the woods, looking through the binoculars. "Well you aren't pulling any punches are you Negan? Showing off just how big and bad you are? And seriously, bringing an injured Daryl here, just to impress how you're in control, huh? Yeah, you aren't the first blow hard that I've ran into. I can't go in there with guns blazing, I could take out a few of your men, but you would take out many of more of mine. So, no that isn't going to be the way to handle you, is it? Jewel is going to be the one that challenges you, you like that, you find her intriguing, in a stalkerish kind of way. You just have no idea what pain you are in for threatening her kids. Don't worry, you will," she said as she thought aloud to herself. "Hello Dwight," she said as she moved the binoculars to look at him. "I see you knelt. And you too, Sylvie. I am disappointed in you, I thought you had better sense than that." She took off her binoculars and hid them with her guns and started walking to the gate. "Did I miss an invitation to a party or something?" she asked as men turned on her with guns. "Woah, easy boys and girls, I'm just returning home."

"Who are you?" one of the savior's asked.

Jes looked at him. "I should be asking you that, since you're the one holding a gun on me."

"I'm Negan," the man answered.

Jes smirked. "No you aren't," she said.

Jewel took a step forward. "She's one of us, just returning home," she said as Sylvie stopped her.

"She got any guns?" Negan asked.

"No, she got knives," one of the men answered.

"Let her in," Negan told them. "What were you doing out there with no guns?"

"Bullets are harder to come by, and one day we won't be able to rely on them. Have to get used to other weapons," Jes lied easily. "I heard what happened out there, I felt the walls were closing in, to many people around, not a minute to think. Now, if I knew that I would be walking into a welcoming party, I would have been here. But I thought Rick said you'd be here in a week."

"He missed us," Jewel mentioned.

"Now, you know my name, what's yours?" Negan questioned.

"Jes," she answered. "But Sylvie here could have told you that, or Dwight. I have to say Dwight, looks like you had a run in with some kind of fire," she said as she walked closer. "No, that's defiantly not fire, an iron."

Dwight pointed his gun at her. "Back off."

"You know her?" Negan asked Sylvie.

Sylvie glanced her then at Negan. "When we ran off, we ran into her."

"Which reminds me, where is your wife, Dwight? Sherry right?" Jes asked with a smirk as she turned around.

"She's my wife now," Negan answered as he looked at Jes.

"Well she defiantly upgraded, no offense Dwight," Jes responded.

Negan laughed. "I like you, so you're going to walk around with Rick and me while we look around."

Jes nodded. "It would be my genuine pleasure," she said as she glanced at Jewel and nodded slightly at her.
