Cheepskipper runs a rather unique shop in Seaside Hill selling floats and boats to the tourists and locals that frequent the shoreline. Getting help from the Huckit Crabs, Cheepskipper is set on selling every float and boat he can. But being a fish, things can be quite complicating, and that's something that Cheepskipper doesn't like...

27. Chapter 27

Mummipokey chuckled as he was at Cheepskipper's Floats N' Boats shop, running it in place of Cheepskipper as it was raining in Seaside Hill, seeing that nobody was present. He let out a sigh as he blinked.

"Even though I enjoy the rain, it's obvious that most of the tourists here don't." Mummipokey commented as he watched some of the boats sink further in the lake due to the intense rain making the lake's water rise. "Maybe the fact that not many people come here is why Cheepskipper is so grumpy..."

"Well, I don't mind at all." Lakithunder stated as he floated above the shack Mummipokey was in within his dark cloud, moving his hands about. "This rain is great for helping my Power Plant get a surging boost of electricity!"

"I know, LK, but not everyone can be as lucky as you..." Mummipokey stated as he closed his eyes.

Lakithunder shrugged as he left the shop to enjoy the rainy weather, with a flashback triggering back to Seaside Hill's Ocean Ruins track as Mummipokey and Cheepskipper were inside the underwater tube, going backwards as they were observing the underwater scenery.

"I'm willing to bet that you won't be able to run my Floats N' Boats shop," Cheepskipper stated as he was munching on a salty hamburger from the Ocean Palace Burger Paradise.

Mummipokey smirked as he had a red carton of McDonald's french fries on his head. "I'm willing to take that bet. How hard could it be?"

Oh, if only Mummipokey knew what he was getting into then...
