All Nightmare Long

Chapter 532

Author's Note: I have spent almost 5 years on this story, and I have changed things and will be including more changes (such as Rick not leaving.) I still kind of want Daryl to go live in the woods, may have to send Mar or Mitch off. This is the Walking Dead, things happen. But nothing is set in stone. What is set in stone (except for my little 'episodes') is that I follow the episodes. Always have, always will. I may combine a few if they all are connected. One episode may take me 4 or 5 chapters, and I throw things in. I never expected this to be so long or have that many OC's, but kind of glad I do with everyone leaving, so we have people to follow. But, thank you all who are reading. If you haven't already went back and read the chapter where I had Beth in the meeting with Gregory and Simon, please do. I forgot she was in the line up so I had to change it. Please review.

Hilltop:

Archie watched Gregory leave the room then looked at Jesus. "Where did you put them?"

"Two are in Gregory's room, two in Rayna's. In the closet," Jesus answered.

Archie grinned and squeezed his shoulder. "Good job man, let's go before he gets up there. I'll go to Rayna's room, then meet you over there."

Jesus nodded as the men walked up the stairs. Archie stopped at Ray's door and knocked. "Ray, it's me lass, let me in."

Rayna opened the door slightly. "Are they gone?"

"No, lass, they aren't, I wish they were," Archie told her as Summer came to the door.

"Beth went over to the other room, she wanted to be with Maggie. Is it safe to come out?" Summer questioned.

"Jesus wanted me to come get you, meet in Gregory's room," Archie told her.

"I'm going too," Rayna said.

"I don't know if that's such a good idea, lassie," Archie told her.

"Let her come. It's the only way she is going to see what her uncle really like," Summer said as they went across the room. "You three OK?"

"We're OK," Maggie said as she hugged her. "You?"

"I'm OK," Summer assured her.

They turned when they heard the door open. "I told you to hide them in the hallway closet," Gregory yelled as he came into the room.

"No you said closet," Jesus told him. "Plus four of them weren't all going to fit in there."

"This is my bedroom, did all four of them fit in that closet? What if they came in here before," Gregory said.

"Before you tried to give us up," Sasha stated.

"They would have killed you first," Maggie said.

"And that would have been such a shame," Summer said sarcastically as she sat on the side of the bed.

"Honey, I'm talking to Jesus," Gregory said.

"Uncle Gregory!" Rayna snapped at him.

"Stop," Jesus told him.

"Rayna go to your room what are you even doing in here?" Gregory asked.

"Summer stayed in my room, I offered," Rayna told him. "I want them to stay, they helped out last night and Maggie's pregnant," she stated.

"They aren't staying," Gregory told her dismissively before turning back to Jesus. "Why are you even defending her? We're here right now because her and Reginald didn't handle things like they said they would."

Summer stood up. "We took care of the group you told us about. And, because of that, you still have a head attached to your shoulders!"

"She's right, the savior's tried to kill you," Jesus said.

"That was a misunderstanding," Gregory said.

"How is that a misunderstanding? They demanded your head brought to them and they'd release your man that was being held hostage," Beth exclaimed.

"Honey, didn't I tell you to shut up?" Gregory asked.

"You told Maggie," Archie said as he rolled his eyes.

"As soon as the saviors leave, we get them the hell out of here before something bad really happens," Gregory demanded.

"Stop!" Jesus told him. "They're staying," he told them.

Archie stood up beside Jesus. "As long as they bloody want."

"Or do you want to make it public? You want to make the deal with Alexandria public? Lose your plausible deniability?" Jesus asked. "Lose your position."

"One person shouldn't hold all the power anyway, everything should be told to the people that are under you," Summer said.

Gregory shot her a dirty look then looked at Jesus. "So you're going to be in charge now? Archie?"

"No, it's just that you won't be," Jesus stated.

"A monkey could do a better job then you, Gregory, always said that," Archie told him.

"Dad would have went with them, to take out the savior's, and he wouldn't have been trying to sell them out," Rayna said.

"Maggie, Sasha, Summer and Beth are staying. I'm staying. We're all going to be one big happy dysfunctional family," Jesus told him.

"So we will be," Gregory said.

"And we're giving Maggie one of the empty rooms, as well as Summer. Maggie's pregnant and Summer's hurt, they are moving in here," Rayna told him.

"Rayna dear, we will discuss that," Gregory said. "And I will see us through this," he said.

"God help us," Summer muttered under her breath.

"I made real progress with them today," Gregory assured them. "You saw it, you both saw it," he told Jesus and Archie.

"That's not what I saw," Jesus said.

"Well that's what happened," Gregory said.

"You were giving up four lasses to save your miserable hide, just like you did with my sister," Archie told him.

"You really need to stop harping about that. I'm sure she's fine," Gregory told him as he stepped around the two men. "We play nice, they play nice," he told Maggie, Sasha and Beth. Summer shook her head. "See dear the savior's can be quite reasonable," he told Maggie.

Maggie punched him, then grabbed the pocket watch.

"You took daddy's watch? He gave that to Glenn," Beth said.

"It's a fine watch, doesn't need to be left out in the rain," Gregory told Maggie.

"This is our home now, so you'll learn to call me by my name. Not Marcia, not dear, not honey. Maggie. Maggie Rhee."

Summer grinned before tapping Gregory on the shoulder, punching him when he turned around, making him fall to the floor. "Maggie could have done that, but she's not at 100%. You're right, it's a fine watch, but it didn't belong to you. It belonged to two great men, both of who are not walking this earth anymore. You should have given it back to Maggie, it didn't belong to you. You may run this place, but I'm going to be watching you. The name is Summer," she reminded him as she walked out.
