"Scizor, use Bullet Punch!" says Aaron.
"Gengar, c'mon!" says Katy.
The Bullet Punch does almost no damage to Gengar.
"Yay!" says a happy Katy.
"That's impressive." says Aaron.
"Awesome!" says Katy.
"I refuse to let you win." says Aaron.
"Dad has told me that I can always win as long as I don't give up." says Katy.
"Oh, did he huh?" says Aaron.
"Gengar, attack!" says Katy.
Gengar knocks out Scizor.
"Not bad. Scizor, return. Go, Steelix." says Aaron as he call back Scizor and switch to his Steelix instead.
As the Steelix come out from it's Ultra ball, it turns out that Steelix is actually a shiny.
"What?" says Katy confused.
She know what Steelix look like in its normal form, but she hasn't seen a shiny one.
"It's shiny." says Aaron.
"Oh, okay." says Katy.
Katy switch to her Talonflame.
Talonflame is weak from the battle before, but Katy wanna try to use it anyway.
"Sorry, that Pokémon doesn't seem ready for any kind of fighting at the moment." says Aaron.
"My awesome Talonflame's never failed me." says Katy.
"If so, this will be the first time." says Aaron.
Steelix attack and nearly knocks out Talonflame.
"No..." says Katy.
42 minutes later, Katy has won.
"I admit that I was wrong. You're a good trainer. Go on now." says Aaron.
Katy step into the next room.
"Bienvenue, je m'appelle Katrina." says Katrina DeVaoule, the Dragon trainer.
"Hi, me is ready." says Katy.
"Je suis surpris de voir une si petite fille arriver aussi loin." says Katrina.
"I'm awesome, just like daddy." says Katy.
"Okay. Go, Druddigon!" says Katrina.
"Go, Gengar!" says Katy.
"Interesting." says Katrina.
"Tu ne le penseras pas longtemps." says Katy.
45 minutes later, Katy has won.
"D'accord. Je suis impressionné. Cependant, vous avez encore un défi. Le champion vous attend toujours, ma fille. Et cela ne sera pas facile pour vous. Elle est le meilleur maître Pokémon de toute la région." says Katrina.
"Me is very ready." says Katy.
Katy's Pokémon get healed by a nurse and then Katy get to step into the Champion Hall.
"Oh...bienvenue, jeune femme. Je suis Madame Emily Dirente, la championne de Kalos." says Emily Dirente, a beautiful woman who is the champion of the Kalos region.
"Doux. Je suis prêt. Je m'appelle Katy Ketchum." says Katy.
"Are you sure you're ready for this? I'm the most powerful trainer in Kalos." says Emily.
"Me is not afraid. Daddy's taught me to be cool." says Katy.
"Alright. This is for the championship title. If you defeat me, you're the new champion of the Kalos Pokémon League." says Emily.
"Cool." says Katy.
