All Nightmare Long

Chapter 555

Author's Note: I hope everyone is doing well in this time of uncertainty and keeping safe. I swear I drove down the road the other day and I felt like I was in an episode of the Walking Dead. I'm not going to show Daryl escaping since it won't change from the show but he will reunite with Summer at the Hilltop before the gang gets there. I think Maggie must have known he was there too. But right now back to Alexandria. Please review.

Quinn's POV:

Quinn knocked on Aaron and Eric's door, waiting for it to be opened. She was hoping that Emily would open the door so the two of them could talk. She gave a small smile as the red-haired woman opened the door. "Emily."

Emily rushed forward and hugged her. "Quinn, I'm so glad that you are back. Everything has been horrible here. Aaron, Rick and Jewel still aren't back, and Eric is worried. And what happened to Heath? I've heard bits and pieces. Come in, I'd offer you something to drink, but we are limited to water right now, well because.." she said as she stopped herself.

"Because of Negan," Quinn answered as she came in. "Heath got separated from Tara and I, we went back to look for him, we found tire tracks, but nothing else. I'm not giving up on him, he's still alive. Without a body, he's still alive. But I came here to talk to you about Spencer."

"Spencer?" Quinn questioned.

"I need you to go talk some sense into him," Quinn informed the younger woman.

Emily took a breath. "Quinn, he won't listen to me, he won't listen to anyone."

"But the two of you are….well…something, that has to mean something, doesn't it?" Quinn asked. "He's determined to speak to Negan, about replacing Rick and Jewel as leaders of Alexandria. I just think it's a stupid idea."

"Whatever we had, if anything, is over. He was at Rosita's door the moment Abraham moved out," Emily told her as he walked to the window. "He's over there now."

"Look, I get it if you're hurt, but you have to try something. He hasn't listened to me since mom died. It's like he's cut me off because I'm siding with Rick. I don't know who else to turn too, please Em? Just try to talk him out of whatever hair brain scheme he's got cooking," Quinn begged.

Emily sighed. "Fine, for you, I will but I'm not promising anything," she said as she walked over to the door.

"Thank you," Quinn answered, walking out with her.

. Emily took a breath as she saw Spencer walking away from Rosita's porch. "There's no such thing as just dinner with you Spence, and no strings attached."

Spencer gave a small laugh. "You never objected."

"We're both consenting adults, just like you and Rosita. You look nice, you planning on wooing Negan?" Emily asked as she crossed her arms.

"You've been talking with Quinn," Spencer said with a sigh.

"She's worried about you," Emily stated. "And, frankly so am I. I'm your friend, and you've dealt with a lot of loss in the past couple weeks. You haven't really had time to process it."

"I've processed it fine, Em. My brother is dead. My father is dead. And my mother is dead. They weren't dead before Rick and his merry men came here. Your brother brought them here," Spencer pointed out.

"Aaron, Phoebe and Eric made a call, and it was a good one. We needed people like them. And do you forget that Rosita is one of Rick's merry men? Come on Spense, you don't need to do this," Emily told him. "Your parents wouldn't want this."

"Why don't we go ask them? Oh wait, we can't, can we? No, because they are dead," Spencer told her. "I'm going to go talk with Negan," he said as he passed her.

Emily sighed as she started to walk back.

"I didn't know you two were still involved, or that you were in love with him, or I never would have started anything," Rosita said from her porch.

Emily turned and looked at her. "I'm not in love with him, and we were just having sex, just like the two of you."

Rosita gave a small smile. "You don't have any competition from me, I'm not interested in him, that way. I just wanted to forget things."

"Like Abraham?" Emily asked.

"Among other things," Rosita said.

"I'm not interested in him that way either. He was a friend before this, and he'll be a friend after this," Emily assured her. "Right now, I just wish he'd think before acting."

"He's a big boy, if he wants to suck up to Negan, he can suck up to Negan," Rosita told her.

Emily sighed as Quinn walked over. "I tried Quinn, but he wasn't in the mood to listen."

Quinn sighed as she turned and looked at Spenser walking down the street. "I can't let him go on his own, mom wouldn't like it if she was here….he's still my responsibility."

"He's a grown man," Rosita said.

"He's still my little brother," Quinn answered as she walked away, catching up with him in front of Rick and Jewel's house.

"I just want to talk to him," Aaron told the woman.

"And I said no," Arat told him again as Quinn walked up.

"Spence, let's go," Quinn said as Negan walked out on the porch.

"Don't be an asshole, Arat, let the man and the pretty lady pass," Negan told her.

Arat sighed as she stepped aside.

"It's just me that wants to talk to you sir, my sister was just going," Spencer said as he looked back at Quinn.

"I decide who stays and who goes, and she's much prettier than you, so both of you come up here, or you go and she stays," Negan said.

Quinn sighed as she followed her brother up the steps.

"Oh crap is that for me?" Negan asks Spencer as he sees the cannister in his hand.

"We haven't officially met, I'm Spencer Monroe. Hi," he greeted.

Quinn shook her head slightly. "My little brother has no manners, and I know our parents taught him better, I'm Quincey Bledsoe."

"Damn, all the good ones are already taken, well come on up, sit down, we'll share some of this good drink, and get to know each other," Negan said with a smile.

"None for me please, this is all Spencer's idea," Quinn said as she leaned on the railing of the porch.
