Despite the fact Leonardo said he was going to make himself a plate of veggies, the blue bandanna wearing turtle didn't touch his healthy snack.
At that moment, master Spliter entered the kitchen, to make himself some tea took notice of his son/student.
"You seem troubled Leonardo.
Are you alright?
Is there anything wrong?" asked the team's sensi.
I'm fine master Splinter.
It's just I wish the others would take their health and the exersices more seriously," Leonardo replied.
"Be paticent my son.
Give your brothers time.
They will come around soon."
"I hope so sensi.
Maybe I'll try to go easy on them."
"A very wise suggestion.
You don't want to push your brothers away."
Back in the living room, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael crashed on the couch to watch some TV.
"All I can say is if there's an exersice program on, I'm leaving," said Raphael.
Once the set was turned on, the team was glad to see their female human repoter friend.
"Hey dudes it's April," Michelangelo pointed out.
"Looks like we picked the right time to watch some TV," Donatello pointed out.
From what was being shown, it appeared that April was outside, in front of a large building.
"This is April O'Neil standing in front of the new factory that will home Granny Gurtute's cookie and bakery factory," said the reporter.
"Hey they make the best cookies.
Maybe if we hurry we can get some free samples," said Michelangelo, as he was about to leap off the couch, only to get stopped by his brothers, who sat in between him.
"Ah ah ah.
Don't even think about it," said Raphael.
At that moment, Leonardo exited the kitchen and joined his brothers.
"Hey fellas did I miss anything?" he asked.
"No, you're just in time for April's report," Donatello replied.
Meanwhile, as the turtles and the residents of the city were watching on their TV screens, April was on location being filmed.
She was actually giving an interview with a gentleman.
"I'm standing here now with Phillip Mitchell, grandson of the creator of Granny Gurtute's cookies, said April, as she turned to Phillip and said, "Tell me Mr. Mitchell, what can we expect from your company's new factory, in comparison to your last one?"
"I can promise you Ms. O'Neil that first and foremost that the company will keep the same values and recipes that my grandmother used, back in the days from creating her tasty treats in the family kitchen.
However, with the on-going of our items, we had to expand room to add in more equipment for mixing and baking.
This factory has eight mixing stations, compared to the two large vats for combining ingredients at our previous location.
Plus, we're the first and the only bakery factory that combines the ways of both the 20th and the new century with using the latest technology, helping us get the work done faster, officatly, and increase of prodactivity.
And now, it is time to open business."
Phillip Mitchell excused himself briefly, so that he could cut the ribbon off the factory's door and open shop.
"I hereby declare the new location of Granny Grutute's cookie and bakery factory," said Phillip Mitchell, as he cut the yellow colored ribbon.
While the crowds cheered, April only pretended to be excited.
All she thought about was how Verne got the "big" news story and how he was most likely relighing it.
The reporter just focused her camera and recorded the event.
Sunddenly, a sound came out of nowhere.
"What in the world was that?" said April, as hers along with everyone else's attentions turned away from the factory to what was coming towards them.
Back at the turtles' lair, the picture on the screen fainted out to static.
"What happened to April?" said Leonardo.
Suddenly, a sound came out of nowhere.
"That's the turtle com," spoke Donatello.
He answered the turtle shell designed walkie talkie.
On the item was a small screen, to which April's face flashed onto it.
"April thank goodness.
Are you OK?" Dontaello asked.
"I'm fine.
But you better get down to 10th anvenue this instant.
Something big is coming our way, I mean really big," April replied.
"Well you heard April.
Let's get moving," said Raphael, as he and the rest of the turtles headed out to save the day.
The team climbed out from the swearer, and headed to the location April told them to meet her.
Back at her local, April O'Neil, along with Phillip Mitchell, the workers at his factory, passerbys and onlookers saw what was heading towards them.
It was the mutant cookie creature that was created at the old factory.
Only, it had grew 10 times bigger than it was earlier.
"This is unbelievable, said April, as she turned her camera on to the massive cookie mutant, I sure hope the turtles get here in time."
At that very moment, the turtle van showed up.
" Hey April!" Raphael called out to the reporter, who turned to her friends and said running up to the team, "Am I glad to see you guys."
"So, what's the big emergency?" said Leonardo.
"That!" April repiled, pointing to the monterousity that was heading towards them.
Like their reporter friend and the residents of the city, the turtles themselves could not believe their eyes of what was coming to them.
"Holy Gaucamoly!
It's a cookie mon.." said Michelangelo, who was inturupted by Raphael who yelled, "Stop!"
"Man, you just want to use that word."
"No, I'm preventing you from saying that, so we don't get in trouble for copyrighting.
Gotta love those cencors, don't you?"
"Say guys, can you two have your argument later.
Right now we have a big problem on our hands.
And I do mean big!" Donatello, pointed out.
"Hold on team.
Before we go into action, we have to know where exactly did this monster come from," said Leonardo.
At that moment, a sharp object that looked like a drill made it's throught the streets.
It was Shredder's machine.
Once the mobile came into full form, emgerging from the concrete and gravel the door opened and Shredder, along with Bepob and Rocksteady stepped out.
"Well, no surprise that tin face is behind this," said Raphael.
"Alright guys, now it's time to take action.
"Turtle power!" called out Leonardo, who lead the charge.
