It took about a week before Tony came back with a solution for Mikey… this made the family happy to be together at last, of course there was still much to do, the family of four really wanted to be safe and while they were at the moment… it was obvious they wouldn't be safe for long "Maybe Mason could help us? He did seem nice" Jasmine said making her parents think about it, Harley hadn't spoken to the man ever since she was forced into the squad… and even then she hasn't spoken to him after Jasmine saw him for the first time, not only that but there was also the fact that she left the Wayne's all of a sudden without a warning or a note left behind.
Unless they figured it all out too…
But then again Bruce is Batman also known as the best detective so it shouldn't be long before he figures out who she really is, but for now she would wait, they needed time to work over a few things and there was no way she was going to just leave and not have a plan made for them to be safe, of course they all really wanted to be somewhere safe very much so that no one could try to tear them apart once more, they had to do this step by step and make sure that they were prepared for anything and everything… or else something bad will happen to one or all of them.
"I'll try and make a few calls to some friends I have… see if one of them can take us in or even help us out" Harley said making them nod as she walked to another room to get started, Jasmine was then on her laptop to do a few things which was play a few games, watch some YouTube videos and look online for any news on her, her parents or Mikey right now… which so far so good there was nothing on any of them, maybe they just decided to keep quiet about it? Either way she didn't really care since there was nothing on her at the moment so she was safe for now… she then turned to look at her brother who was simply watching TV while eating a sandwich that Harley made him earlier.
Growing hungry she decided to take a look in the kitchen to see what they had… which wasn't much so she decided to buy a few things and maybe buy herself something to eat while she was at it really, letting her dad know she was going out she then walked out of the building and began going on with her day by buying some groceries and then buy herself a meal while heading back home… she was really hungry but had no idea on what to have, oh well! She could just look around a bit and if something catches her eye, she could just buy that on the way back home "At least that's something" she mumbled to herself as she walked into the grocery store and began her shopping.
She went around and began grabbing what they needed and what she thought her family might like or would want "Can't have them need to go buy it if they don't see it and want it" she whispered to herself as she then looked over everything and then went to pay for everything she picked out, once done she walked out and moved to go buy herself some tacos to eat on the way back home, she was munching on one of her tacos when she saw Damian walking over to her "Why are you here?" she asked him with a raised brow but he didn't say anything… he just looked at her "Come back with me… this isn't safe for you" he said as she rolled her eyes "I see you didn't try to do a sort of DNA test… but Harley and Joker are my parents… same for Mikey" she explained making his eyes widen as she sighed "Guess your shocked but I don't blame you, turns out Mikey was mutated with turtle DNA which made him look like a turtle… but he's my brother" she further explained as Damian kept quiet while watching her.
He didn't believe her one bit…
"If you think I'm lying, then find something with my DNA on it and do the test" she said as she ate a taco and walked away "To tell you the truth… I hoped you would have been happy for me… but I guess I was wrong" she whispered and then left him there, by the time she got back her tacos were all eaten and she wasn't showing any signs of being upset with seeing Damian again "I'm back!" she said with a smile, but she was surprised when she saw her parent's were packing up everything… or pretty much as much as they could right now "Oh good, you bought food… we need to go, your old family and Bat's were seen close by so we need to get going" her mom explained making Jas nod and help them out as much as they could, Tony handed them keys to a van that would protect them from being seen so they weren't worried of being figured out.
Mikey ended up falling asleep at some point during the drive while Jasmine ended up looking outside for a bit before looking at her new phone, Joker was driving and Harley was also sleeping since they planned to drive day and night until they get to there new location to live at "We won't be safe back there for long… so we need to move to place they wouldn't think we would go to in the first place" he explained making her nod as she thought back to Damian, he had looked determined to have her follow him… almost like he believed she was walking down the wrong path… but really she was walking down the path to her home and family that she belonged to in the first place and she had no plans on turning back.
She was determined to stay with her true family… and make Splinter pay for taking her and Mikey away…
The drive lasted about a few days, they did need to stop for gas and other things that they needed but after that they were back on the road pretty quickly, Jas even began to wonder where they were going in the end that would be safe for them… at least for a while until they would need to move again because Batman was close by to there location, so far nothing was wrong, there weren't any cars behind them or really near them so it was safe to assume that no one would be following them right now, she did wonder what would happen if they were found… which would depend on who finds them "Where are we going anyway?" she then asked to Harley who was driving right now, Joker was sleeping while Mikey was awake playing a video game at the moment making Harley sigh "My friend Ivy has a place she used when she wanted to hide from Bat's, she said we can live there for as long as we need" she explained making Jasmine nod to her mother's words as she then turned to look outside and slowly drifted to sleep for a bit.
When she woke up again, the car was stopped and she could hear Mikey and her parents outside the car doing something, she opened her eyes to find them unpacking the van making her get out to help, she moved to join them in collecting there things and getting them at least inside the place so they could then get settled in "How long will we be staying here?" Mikey asked at last, they had been getting everything in and unpacked after a few hours and now he asked this question making Harley and Joker looked at one another for a moment before looking back to Mikey and Jas "We don't really know, for now we want to try and recover here before Batman and the others locate us and come here" Joker explained making them nod in understanding… bonding and working together will help them out more than just waiting.
For the next two weeks, the group got to work together on living in the place and making it more of a home feel to it as they got to work, of course Harley and Joker wanted them to know about what they have done after and before they had them so many things were revealed about there crimes… but neither Jasmine or Michelangelo minded about it and instead wanted to know more about there lives and learn from them which made the parents agree to train at least Jasmine while Mikey get's to watch them train together, Michelangelo was excited for the day he would join them in training… but for now he would simply watch them and try to remember as much as he can that will happen for her sister.
After that slowly time passed and then it turned from weeks to months to years, it wasn't long before Mikey ended up joining them in training while Jasmine at times would look around or get them what they needed to survive "I think your both ready for a new name and a new outfit" Joker said making them smile at the news… there own outfit and a new name, this was going to be amazing that's for sure, but the question was… what do they want to look like? And what do they want for there name? Mikey decided to go to his room to think up his outfit and name… while Jasmine stays with them to think "I think I want something sneaky… like Trickster" she said making her parents nod as they then began to help her design her outfit.
It took a few months to get everything ready but after that… they were ready to come back too Gotham at last, with there new outfits ready, they got into the van and began the drive to Gotham city… all the while not knowing what had happened during their time away.
The Wayne's and league worked together to arrest Splinter and Saki for what they had done, turns out Bruce had secretly done a DNA test on both Jasmine and Michelangelo and was able to confirm that they were Harley and Joker's children that went missing years ago, of course things began to make sense as to why she simply left and then why Mikey vanished too and so they decided to take care of the two bad guys first and then while helping the Hamato brother's and there friends out they would then try to find the two and figure out what to do next.
And it wasn't easy at all…
Turns out the three brothers wanted to stay and help them find there sister and brother (Even though neither of them are really there siblings and right now aren't even thinking about them) in the end there two human friends made them head back to New York… they both knew neither were going to be joining them in the end and was keeping it from them, once the five were gone, the league decided to each head back to there homes for work and personal life while Bruce and his family got to work on trying to find Jasmine and Michelangelo… of course Damian decided to go off on his own at some point which Bruce knew was bound to happen at some point while he and the others kept on looking around, when Damian came back… he was quiet and was doing some research on Jasmine and her DNA making him know he was going to find out about her birth.
After a while, Damian kept to himself… much like back when he first arrived to Gotham to be safe, Bruce was slightly worried about that so he had Richard and Alfred keep an eye on him to make sure he was doing alright… but he was certain that things weren't going to be fine in the end, for now he wasn't doing anything other then doing his own usual thing making him watch and wait for now, years went by and there was nothing, it was easy to tell that the four weren't anywhere near Gotham… so they must have gone far away with a days trip, for now things went like usual and Bruce decided to wait "Alfred, let me know when anything related to Harley Quinn or Joker comes out to the surface" Bruce requested making the butler nod as the man walked out for work.
All the while not knowing what was coming their way…
Meanwhile, Harley and her family at last secretly got into Gotham thanks to Ivy and Selina Kyle making the family happy to be in Gotham at last, of course there was much to do first so they began unpacking in there new home before they would begin showing off there return, Mikey and Jas were excited to get to work at long last, both there outfits were ready and there names were perfect! Now, all that was left was for them to begin their work in the city at long last "This needs to be perfect! We can't mess this up" she explained making them nod as they got dressed.
Harley wore her usual red and black outfit while Joker had his purple and green suit, Mikey decided to look like a jester with orange, black and white while giving himself the name Punchline… he couldn't wait to present himself, Jasmine on the other hand… looked like her mother except instead of red it was pink making herself become Trickster "Now let's go everyone" Jokey said with a laugh making them nod and quickly move to there first location… the bank.
It quickly began to spread, there actions were all over the news, there names being spoken with fear like they wanted as they laughed… Punchline and Trickster shocking the Wayne family as they figured out quickly enough who they both were… Michelangelo and Jasmine, this made them have no idea on what they should even do right now with this new event so for now they decided to wait and figure it all out at a later time once they got more info about all of this "There's gotta a be a reason for them to turn to crime right?" Richard ask making Bruce sigh as he showed them the DNA tests results, he made on the two years ago "There Harley and Joker's kids… it would make sense for them to follow in their parent's footsteps" he explained as Alfred came down with some food and drinks for them as Damian then came to the cave to join them.
The little family of clowns celebrated with Ivy and Selina a job well done together, of course there was more to learn so Ivy and Selina decided to offer to train Jasmine and Michelangelo… of course they would switch at times with the other sibling to train them both so they could both train and not act like it was a competition, of course they both agreed to this and began the next night there training which was going to be very tough on the both of them… but they each began to prefer one of them, Mikey preferred Pamela because he was able to mess around with what plants produce and make it into all kinds of things while Jas enjoyed her training with Catwoman because she enjoyed stealing things connected to foxes and the fact she felt like she was dancing as she went into battle with people.
They so made their parents proud!
Batman on the other hand, was trying to figure Damian out at the moment, the boy didn't want to talk and this had been the fifth time this month that the school calls about his strange behavior and demands he sees the school therapist… and while he does set up the appointments and tells his son… the boy never goes once making him wonder what he should do right now, at the moment it was after diner and he was in front of Damian's room "Damian? We need to talk" he spoke not loud enough for every one close by to hear but loud enough for his son to hear him at the moment, moments later the door opened making him walk into the room as Damian went back to his bed to clean his katana "What is it father?" he asked making Bruce sigh.
"The school called again about your behavior… they once again ask that you go see the therapist… who once again called because you skipped on your appointment" he explained making Damian stopped for a second his cleaning… before going back to it "I apologize… nothing is wrong with me, I'll be better tomorrow so they won't call anymore" he promised which made Bruce sigh "That's the exact same thing you said the last time and you still let this happen… you need to see the therapist this time, I will call the school to inform them of your appointment so they can make sure you go" he said and with that said… he walked out of his sons room making Damian sigh as he looked down to his weapon.
There was a reason behind his actions… about a week ago, Damian had gone out on a solo patrol as Robin and saw Catwoman and Trickster together, he got closer and overheard the woman giving the teen tips on how to do things in combat making him then watch as the Penguin and his men came out to attack the two girls… with that he jumped in to help, which made Trickster glare at him when she saw him in her ligne of sight… once the fight was over, she took off her mask and Jas began to then yell at him for being so stupid, she then explained that Penguin wasn't going to fight them but make a trade for a new weapon she paid for that Robin destroyed in the end "I can't believe Batman decided to have you as his sidekick! You're such a disappointment that I wonder when he plans on getting rid of you!" she yelled before she and Selina left for home… leaving him behind feeling great shame for his actions as he then headed back to the cave to get out of his suit and then get to bed for the rest of the night.
When Jasmine got back home after wishing goodnight to Catwoman, she was surprised to find a plate for her in the fridge… guess she had been later the planned, she would need to make-up for it in the morning in the end but she didn't really mind about that since they always forgave her really… but this time she would need to tell them the bad news about her destroyed weapon, she sighed as she heated up her meal to eat before getting ready for bed… she really hated all of this and it was all because of Robin right now, the next day she woke up earlier then usual to do her morning run before breakfast… she really wished things had gone better for her weapon since at least then she wouldn't have any bad news to tell her family or need to recontact Penguin to try and figure something out.
Why did things have to turn out like this?
She got back pretty quickly, took a shower and then made breakfast for everyone "Morning! I bring pastries!" Selina cheered as Pamela walked in with tea, coffee and hot chocolate making Jas smile as she took an apple cinnamon roll and a hot chocolate while her parents and brother joined them "Robin destroyed my weapon last night" she said making everyone but Selina freeze at her words "What?" Joker asked "Penguin arrived for the trade and then Robin appeared and sliced it in half then began to fight them" Selina explained making them all groan at the bad news "Guess will need to call him again" Pamela said making Harley growl in anger "That boy cost us so much money! Now we need to pay him again for another!" Harley said as she slammed her fists on the table.
Yeah… they had a right to be pissed at what Robin cost them right now by destroying a designer weapon Penguin had made for Jasmine…
So… before calling the guy, they went back to work to getting money… and this time they got triple the cost of the weapon, they did this so that they could the twice the amount to have Penguin agree to make it again and then the extra is to use to pay for another method to do the trade… they just hope it will work out in the end "I need that weapon… it will complete who Trickster is" Jasmine whispered as she began to count how much they had right now and calculated how much they needed to earn more before calling Penguin to make the deal once again… while hoping that this time they won't get attacked by someone for the bat family who will destroy it like Robin did.
But sweet Penguin… bless his dark and evil soul… called them and saved from overworking themselves…
Penguin knew that Robin coming wasn't planned so he decided to get a new weapon made… free of charge this time, of course this time to not make the one who made it confused and ask questions, he asked that they make a different design if possible and ask for a few upgrades to it… this made them get to work on the project, of course it would take a while before Jasmine figured out her new design but one thing was for certain… she wanted her weapon to not be sliced by a blade possible "I don't want it to happen again right when I'm about to use it" she explained on the phone making Penguin promise her he would get materials that can withstand a blade trying to cut through it, even he was shocked when Robin's katana sliced it in half… he even yelled at the guy who made it while lying about Robin destroying it before it was used or handed to Jas… instead he claimed she had it in hand and right before she could use it… Robin destroyed it so the scientist promised to make an even better model "But I need better materials… and they won't come cheap or easy to get" he explained making Penguin get to work.
He made sure that he researched the best materials for Jasmine's weapon, he wanted this one to be perfect for Trickster and make her happy, after she first appeared he began to at times call her to steal something for him and she would do it with ease making him proud or hiring her in the first place… and he paid her well, now she was the one paying him for a weapon and it was destroyed by Robin far to quickly and easily… so he was going to make sure that it wasn't possible to happen again, once the new design was with him, Penguin got to work on sending it with all the materials with the strong hope that everything will turn out just fine, about two months passed before the weapon was completed and Penguin could go get it and then bring it to Jasmine.
This time he decided to do it as it work place, the Iceberg was perfect because Batman and his team wouldn't come here unless there was something bigger happening, he also asked for one person to come get it and not Jasmine "Who knows if someone from Bat's team sees her and barges in all of a sudden" he had explained so Harley went on her own to take a look and bring it back with her, once inside, Penguin revealed the case that held Jasmine's blaster, it wasn't big enough for her to need both hands to hold it but it also wasn't small enough for her to be able to hide it on her, the colors also matched with her outfit making Harley happy that everything looked good on it.
Everything went smooth after that…
Penguin explained how Jas had to use the weapon, reload it and care for it, Harley took notes on everything… including what her daughter would need to clean it with, once that was all done she packed up everything and then left for her home while thanking Penguin one last time for the weapon, she began to walk back home while letting her daughter know that she had her weapon in hand which made Jasmine very happy once Harley walked in with the case "I can't wait to use it!" she exclaimed making her parents and little brother laugh at her as she ran to her room to look it over alone, she opened the case and began to squeal in joy at the sight of her toy… yes she called it a toy, the reason for that is because she calls all her weapons her toys when she goes out to do some crime around Gotham.
The people would tremble each time she brought something new because they had no idea of how she would end up using what she had…
Trickster was simply… feared for her work, no one wanted to be close by when she comes out and no one bothered to call for the police to come because she was too quick to get to before she leaves with what she came for… Batman had to figure out her next stop before she get's there in order to capture her, but it was hard to do since every time she was out there… it was always random, one night she could go to the bank to steal money and then the next she could go to an animal shelter to simply pet an animal or two… she was simply random in her actions, she was either stealing or helping and no one understood why she was doing that right now "There must be a pattern somewhere" Bruce mumbled as he listed out the coordinates of where she went and what she did there at the time.
But there was nothing… not a single pattern could be figured out from her actions… she was simply going around at random and all he could do was hope to be close by the next time she appears "Master Bruce? Diner is ready to be served" Alfred said as he walked over to his chair in the Batcave making Bruce sigh and turn to the old butler "Thank you Alfred" he replied and stood up to change out of his suit before joining everyone for diner, Bruce sat down and noticed that his son wasn't seated "Where's Damian?" he asked making Jason turn to him "He said he wasn't hungry and then claimed he needed air when Dick began to pester him about not talking to us… which is stupid since he's always been quiet with us" he explained making Bruce sigh… Damian would eat when he got back that's all.
But Damian had other plans… and they wouldn't bring him back to Gotham for a while…
Damian had been researching the places Jasmine had gone to as Trickster… and he figured out the message behind it all, secretly she was leaving behind a letter for him to find that made the message "Come and find me… then will talk Damian Wayne" this told him that she wanted to talk to him right now… but he had to figure out where she would be in order to do that, it took a long time to figure out where she would be… actually he had to follow her and then wait for her to be seen again, slowly time went on and she ended up leaving Gotham at some point which surprised him… but he still followed her, he had to talk to her and if he wanted that… he needed to follow her to her final destination and then find her.
About three months passed before they arrived in Cuba at last, Jasmine took her time by staying for weeks in some places before moving again, but they arrived and then she was out of his sight… she went to hide so he could try to find her now… he wasn't going to lose, this was neutral grounds, neither knew the place very well so this was going to be hard for the both of them in the end, Damian discovered that Jasmine was quick to adapt in her territory so he would need to also be quick if he wanted to find her just as fast as she was hiding, Jas was loving this game oof cat and mouse… sure she told Damian to try and find her but why make it easy? Okay yeah, she had him follow her until she left Gotham to get to Cuba… but she never decided to stop there to play the game… sure they were playing but she planned on leaving in a bit to continue the game somewhere else… and maybe finish it at a different location.
She wasn't certain on where that would be right now… she was still trying to determine it.
"Found you" she turned to find Damian right by her side, she wasn't all that surprise really… she was out in the open doing some shopping, they had been in Cuba for three days now and she wanted to buy herself a few things "Yeah? And? I was in the open like you are right now" she explained as she walked away and continued with her things, Damian followed behind though… he had to talk to her about a few things "The weapon?" he asked quietly, there were still people around but not many… nor were they close but he had to be safe "Penguin offered a new one without having to pay, it has upgrades, a new look and is stronger… so your katana won't be able to cut it in half" she explained as she looked over a dress before walking away.
And that's out it went, Damian would ask a question and Jasmine would answer it without a second thought as she did her things for the day… of course there were times when she would ask him a question and he would answer them without remorse of needing to keep quiet, at some point she invited him to her hotel room "I know you sleep outside so to not let your father know of your location… my parent's know so as long as I do everything you'll be fine" she explained making him nod and follow her into the hotel, about two months later they left Cuba and began to slowly travel the world together… of course it wasn't easy, she still didn't trust him after what he did to her previous weapon but Damian wanted to fix things with her so badly so he did his best to help her when he could.
Slowly time continued and a few years went by once more, Bruce knew that even though Damian was spending his money now… he wouldn't force his son to come back if he wasn't ready, of course his three adopted sons still secretly try to locate him but Alfred is either quick to make them stop to do something else that was important or ruins there hard work just as they were about to find his location, the butler didn't enjoy this task not one bit… but if it kept Damian safe from being forced back to Gotham when he didn't want to come back just yet then that was fine with him right now… he could do this until he came back on his own.
Meanwhile… Harley and Joker… they ended up breaking up, turns out Joker became a little dangerous and it was too much for her and Mikey to live with… so she called the police of his next location and left with there son to live with Pamela… the two were getting close and Mikey liked her almost like a second parents so for her son she would give it a try… she did need to tell Jasmine about all of this and her daughter was so sweet "As long as your happy mom… then I'm happy too, I don't want you to be sad with dad if he makes your worry for Mikey and your safety" she had explained on the phone making Harley so happy to have an amazing daughter like Jasmine.
Then again… things got even better for them…
It took a while but Jasmine and Damian ended up dating, of course Damian had to prove himself to her as they traveled together… and it was really hard since she would often tell him it was disappointing he would think that a gift he brought her or something he did for her would win her over… but he didn't want to give up just yet so he kept on trying until she accepted his feelings for her, there were still a few bumps in the road because of the whole weapon he destroyed but they were getting closer with time, after that they were just… happy together, nothing was wrong and they continued to travel together without a problem as Damian began to help by paying for certain things on his own without needing Jasmine's money every time they needed to buy something, at first Damian was worried that he would have been tracked down by his family… but since Jasmine was proven right since 24 hour's did pass and nothing happened he began to then pay for more things.
With the months that passed he began to learn more about her, Jasmine no longer used much of her ninja training in combat or in doing anything… it was more of the skills she learned that were more of a second nature to her body that she used since these were skills that she simply couldn't tell herself to stop "At least there not all that important to me" she had said to Damian once when he asked her about her skills, but he still felt like she would rather forget it all then have a few skills still stuck in her head, so he tried to help her by trying to find things for them to do together… like a hobby of some sort that would overcome her second nature on ninja training she went through.
The idea was good… but it was easier said than done…
Damian had her try many things, cooking, sewing, drawing, music, knitting… nothing worked, well… she did get interested in all of it but it just didn't take down her second nature, Jasmine told him to give up and that she was okay with it "It doesn't really bother me so it's fine" she said but Damian didn't want to give up just yet, he wanted to keep trying until something stuck to her and destroyed her ninjutsu training fully… but it didn't work, he ended up giving up which was sad to Jasmine but it was time to accept it "Thank you for at least trying… but it was for the best to stop before it goes too far for us" she explained making him nod and simply went back to his own thing while she went to cooking them diner.
And then… it happened, a few days later really but still it happened, Damian came back to the apartment they had rented in Paris to find Jasmine knitting, it was nice to see her doing this but at the same time… she didn't greet him at all, he slowly walked over and place a hand on her shoulder… and she jumped, she turned to quickly look at him and they went silent for three seconds to realize it together… knitting had beaten her second nature, both of them were overjoyed at the good news, but then he saw what she was knitting which surprised him even more… baby clothes… Jasmine was pregnant right now… with his child, he was over the moon happy as he began to write down what they would need and what they had to do which made him realize something both of them dreaded.
They now had to go back to Gotham… where his father was waiting for him to return…
They decided to yes go back… but to Harley and Ivy, the two ladies were happy for there return and excited for the baby, Mikey at the time was at college so he wouldn't be back for a month or two depending on how things were going, Jasmine spoke to her father on the phone and he promised to send her a gift to congratulate them for the baby, she was happy about the gift… but sad she wouldn't be able to see him with everything that happened between him and Harley while she was away "I don't want to see my father just yet" Damian said from the couch, it had been a month and a half now since they returned to Gotham and he has yet to speak to his family "You don't need to if you don't want to sweety, do it when your ready… and if by chance it's a little after the baby is born then that's fine" Pamela said as she walked over to bring Jasmine a snack she had asked for not long ago.
Ever since she got with Harley, Pamela has been amazing with Mikey, sure most of her food is vegan but as long as she isn't in the room when it's being used meat was fine, Damian was also surprised at how helpful she's been with Jasmine and her pregnancy at the moment… it made him wonder if she would have worked with kids if she hadn't become a villain in the first place, Michelangelo then came in with Selena right behind him as they brought bags containing food "We got everything on the list" he said as Damian got up to help them put everything away… ignoring the fact his phone was ringing at the moment to focus on helping out as best he can.
He can take care of his father's call later… right now, he had to focus on his unborn child his girlfriend is carrying at the moment and possibly becoming his wife when the time is right to ask her… just not right now…
