All Nightmare Long
Chapter 573
Author's Note: Another chapter for all of you. I really do not like the trash people, so Jewel is not going to take to Jadis very well. Though I doubt I will get to them in this chapter. A lost to do with the Kingdom. I've never watched Game of Thrones but the actress who plays "Tory" just seems like a spit fire. Please review. It helps.
Kingdom POV:
The soldier's of the Kingdom, along with Morgan waited at the designated spot for pickup when a single walker appeared.
"Diane," Ezekiel ordered.
"On it," Diane said as she aimed her bow and let the arrow pierce the head of the walker. "My sister had that dress."
"Ours too," Drake said as he looked at Tory.
"Don't think about it," Richard said as two trucks from the Savior's pulled up.
"Nice, getting to be just like clockwork," Gavin said as the other Savior's stood in front of the Kingdom people, Jared standing right in front of Richard.
"Now boss?" Jerry questioned Ezekiel.
"Yes, Jerry," Ezekiel said as Jerry walked over and opened the trunk of the car.
Gavin didn't even take a glance at it. "It looks light," he said.
"You didn't even look, how would you know? It's what you asked for," Tory exclaimed.
"Tory," both her brother and the King warned.
"Perhaps you might look again, Gavin, we met our obligations," Ezekiel told him.
Gavin went over to the car. "Ha, you're right. Don't seem like much but eight, nine, ten, you're right."
Jared looked at Richard. "I want his gun. In fact, I don't think this asshole should have a gun. Ever. No guns for bad boys."
"You hit me first prick," Richard told him.
"Is there going to be another fight?" Tory whispered to Drake. Drake just gave her a look to be silent.
Jared just backed away before he and Richard both pulled guns on each other, everyone else reacting.
"OK where do we go from here?" Gavin asks.
"That's right your majesty, where do we go from here?" Richard asked.
"Hand him your weapon, Richard" Ezekiel ordered.
Jared walked closer to Richard as Richard lowered the gun.
"Stand down idiot," Gavin told Jared.
"Suck on it you little shit," Richard said as Jared went to hit him.
"Richard," Ezekiel warned.
Morgan knocked the gun out of Jared's hand, Jared looking at him before taking his weapon and attacking Richard. Ben knocked Jared off his feet.
"Stand down," Gavin ordered. "Ezekiel, you know I can't have this."
"We can't have this," Ezekiel corrected him. "Richard will refrain from attending our future exchanges."
"No, no Ezekiel, you're going to keep bringing him. But if this doesn't stop, if this starts becoming a real problem, you remember what I said, he is still batting first on the lineup. I almost did it myself just now," Gavin warned him. Ezekiel looked at him. "I know it's not his fault, but this has got to stop. So things might need to get a little visceral. Jared get the hell up," Gavin ordered. "Let's get the hell out of here."
Morgan looked at Jared. "Can I um, can I have my stick back please? Someone gave it to me, someone whose gone."
"Gavin you have to let me…" Jared started to say.
"No, no, just read the dam room Sensei," Gavin told Morgan. "Let's go," he said. Everyone watched as they got in the trucks and left.
Tory walked up to Benjamin. "Not bad with that stick work," she said as she walked away with a smirk.
Drake looked at Benjamin. "Don't even think about it," he said as he walked away and got in the car.
At the Kingdom:
Benjamin got out of the truck followed closely by Ezekiel and Drake. "You were quick with that today, impressive," Ezekiel complimented Benjamin. "Impressive Benjamin."
"I told you that I'd get better," Benjamin said.
"You were a trifle to quick," Ezekiel said. "Just because you now know how to fight, doesn't mean you should seek one."
"It just happened, I wasn't thinking," Benjamin explained.
Tory stopped and looked at them. "Jared was being a dick; he was looking for a fight and Benjamin was protecting Richard."
"Victoria, this doesn't concern you," Drake warned his sister.
"Don't call me Victoria," Tory hissed.
"Then stop pissing me off," Drake said. "I'm sorry for the intrusion, your majesty, I'll take Tory to our rooms."
"No, she can stay, both of you can stay," Ezekiel said. "She needs to hear this too. Every time from this time forward, you must think. Both of you," he said to Benjamin and Tory. "And you shall, yes?"
"Yes," Benjamin answered.
Drake nudged Tory's shoulder to get her to respond. "Yes," she said begrudgingly.
Ezekiel looked as Richard got out of the truck. "Richard we will speak later," he told the soldier.
"You were sick with that stick," Jerry said to Benjamin.
"Jerry!" Ezekiel spoke as everyone dispersed.
"You want to head to the infirmary?" Benjamin asked.
"No, I'm OK," Morgan responded.
"Hey, where you going in the trucks?" Daryl asked as him and Mar walked toward him.
"I need to speak to Daryl and Mar alone, is that OK?" Morgan asked.
"I'll get you something for that cut," Benjamin said.
"Yeah," Morgan said as Benjamin walked away.
"You went to see them, right?" Daryl asked.
Mar took Morgan's face in her hand and looked at it. "You should put something on this so it won't get infected. Daryl's right isn't he?"
"Yeah," Morgan responded.
"Part of your deal?" Daryl asked as he walked closer to him. "What the hell's wrong with you? You're bleeding, they did that to you. You know what they are."
"I do," Morgan answered.
"But you still have your head in the sand," Mar told him. "And did you forget that Jenny is back in Alexandria waiting for you to return?"
"I didn't forget, she's in good hands, and I have things I started here that I need to finish," Morgan stated.
"You know if Carol was here and she saw that, she knew about Abraham and Glenn, she'd be leading us right to them, ready to kill them all," Daryl told him.
"She would and that's why she left," Morgan stated.
"Come on, this isn't doing us any good, we're just wasting our breath," Mar said as she walked away with Daryl as they both looked back at Morgan.
Ezekiel and Drake's POV:
Drake took a breath before knocking on Ezekiel's door.
"Come," the King answered.
Drake entered. "Please forgive the intrusion, Your Majesty."
"Your visits are never intrusions. What can I do for you today, Drake?" the King asked.
"I don't want Tory to go on anymore drop offs with us," Drake explained.
"You are concerned, as you should be. But I will talk with Richard, it will not happen again," Ezekiel said.
"You can't control the Savior's, Jared," Drake pointed out.
"Do you remember what I told you the first day you were sitting in the infirmary with Tory when you first arrived? You would not move from her side until she was up and moving. Do you remember?" Ezekiel questioned.
"You promised that we would be safe here," Drake answered.
"And you are, both of you are. You know Tory will never be Lady Victoria, she is a warrior. It is hard to admit that she is growing up," Ezekiel told him.
"I'm afraid that she won't finish growing up," Drake said as he looked at him. "She's all I have left of my family. I watched as one by one as my family dwindled by being killed by the dead or humans. Tory and I were both near malnutrition when we got here a year ago," he said. "Tory told me that there's a group ready to fight the Savior's. Daryl and Mar's people. Is it true?"
"They came to ask for our assistance, yes, but I have my people to think about. A fight with the Savior's is not one we need to take on. You and the others here, trust me to keep you and your loved ones safe, this is the way to do it," Ezekiel stated.
"Maybe it was at one time your majesty," Drake stated, going to the door. "But they are wanting more, and they'll always want more. It's never going to stop until we stop it," he said before he walked out.
