Running to the market presented to be an easier task just for the pair alone. Although Saitama lived in a deserted area where crime probability was high , it wasn't like either one of them was afraid to walk out in the evening surrounded by cool night air waiting to coat the earth completely once darkness shrouded the earth.

" There's a small convenient store just around the corner of the market area. It's open till ten ." Saitama nudged his head to a store just a block from them with a colorful sign above it screaming Minute Market.

Hands buried into his hoodie pockets , Saitama strolled behind the upbeat energetic female. Clutching her coin purse in hand she turned her head quickly to the right to see the sun setting over the water. Sherbert oranges and cotton purple-grey clouds shaded the sky with natural beauty. A zesty lemon yellow swirled with vibrant oranges sparkled and danced across the body of water in partner with the skies above.

She hadn't realized she stopped dead in her tracks until Saitama popped a bubble from his chewing gum loud purposely to get her attention. Twirling to the side, her hair flared out as her eyes widened with surprise to lay sight on her male friend.

Slightly dull look displayed on his face , Saitama's brown eyes met with her shocked expression. "Scared ya huh?" Ciarra's face turned a slight red from him scaring her like that. "W-well yeah . . . I just the sunset is so beautiful—I am sorry let us go to the store eh?" She closed her eyes tightly, smiling a little , attempting to hide her embarrassment. Too late for that. He already saw her get flustered from being caught day-dreaming at the sunset like that.

Quickly turning at her heels scraping them on the gravel she quickly retained pace towards the colorful corner store just up ahead. Saitama watched her and smirked a little. He had known her for some time now and this was always something she did. How could she try and act like she didn't do this was just funny to him. Eyeing the sunset himself he could see why she was so intrigued by it. It was gorgeous; maybe she didn't get to see it so often around the city from where she resided.

"That's what she was trying to say earlier. " He shrugged and shuffled onward to the destination.

Of course Ciarra got there to the doors first. She stood there off to the side formerly clutching her coin purse in front of her watching as her colleague caught up to her. Warm smile curled onto her slender face, she insisted he go first with just a simple wave of the hand.

He just made eye contact and wandered right on in , now focused on the fresh stock and produce that lay on shelves and displays all over the store.

"Ahhh!" Ciarra squealed and rushed past him to a shelf that had chocolate pocky on it. " It's sooo hard to find this exact brand!" She picked the box up practically waving it around like a little kid who had won a prize.

"Okay." Saitama simply replied. He didn't see the big deal—but hey if it made her happy that's what mattered.

Strolling up and down the aisles of grocery and supplies his eyes scanned up and down the shelves reading tags and trying to find the best bargains and deals. Ciarra had taken to the opposite side of the store that sold femine products consisting of make up and perfumes.

All the while a lot of it was cheap and not deluxe like the stuff in the bigger cities. She found an eye glitter that she was just so intrigued with.

"Such a luminous glow to this. . . ." She whispered as she reached her manicured hand out to grab the last package off the hook.

A series of screams would come from outside as the building shook causing shelves to rattle.

Set back from the sudden terror the female turned her attention to the front of the store where all the commotion had come from.

Raising an eyebrow she snuck her way up there curiosity had strung her like a fish to the hook.

" Please don't hurt me , I don't have much. . . .what's in the register is it. . . .I promise. . . ."

The middle aged blonde cashier shook in fear trying to calm the situation down. Before her stood an enormous large. . . .bag with food. . . . .and eyes?!

Was she seeing this right? Blinking a few times, Ciarra shook her head before realizing what they were dealing with. A monster in the form of a grocery bag stood towering over the counter a large smirk plastered on its brown paper bag face. Human legs and arms pumped with muscle and heaving to get action.

"Oh for fucks sake. . . " Ciarra muttered. The large monster raised his gloved fist in the air. "You have more than that blondie any store does—I am Produce Panic! ALL WHO COME BEFORE ME WILL SHAKE AND COWER IN FEAR! FOR I CAUSE PANIC WHERE I GO!"

His large gloved hand came down onto a large stack of soup cans with intention to cause a divergence. What the monster wasn't aware of and probably wouldn't of cared even if he knew was two kids—between the ages of 7 and 13 were huddled by the counter holding each other as they trembled in fear. Those cans could hurt those kids.

Eyes widened as the monster hit the cans. A soft magenta glow surrounded all the cans causing them to float in the air never hitting a single thing.

The monster raised its French fry eyebrow as he took notice of his failed attempt to cause chaos.

"And who are you?!" His voice boomed outward to the female.

Aqua pools dressed with sinister intentions met with the black rat beady eyes of the monster.

" I think that doesn't matter—you are out here causing harm and destruction because you have power? What gives you the right?"

The monster chuckled loudly. "I have so much power and I have the right to use it as I see fit that doesn't concern you—human."

He sneered wrapped in his own pride.

"Human or not , power or no power you don't just waltz up into anywhere and hurt any one because you feel like it. You have no idea what you are doing let alone what you are. " She lifted her hand causing the cans to restock neatly as the glow faded out.

"I CAN DO WHAT I WANT WOMAN! AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME———"

BAMN

A shockwave of pure power shifted through the premises as monster guts and remains rained within the store. Collapsing upon his untimely demise , to reveal none other than a rather annoyed Saitama on the other side. Fist still raised from the fatal punch, the utter look of annoyance on his face caused the female to laugh. His other hand he held a basket with different assortment of foods covered in bright orange sale stickers. Turning his attention to the cashier who was still trying to recollect herself from the situation he placed the basket on the counter " Is this 50 or 75 percent off? It wasn't marked. " Ciarra came forward unzipping her clutch to retrieve her debit card. "You saved me and my babies, it's completely free on me." The cashier lady quickly turned the counter to her two boys who sat there amazed at the pair for the power they displayed. "Mom did you see that? They are heros they got to be! " The 13 year old boy jumped up with excitement.

"Yes I did. Thank you both for your help. " she ruffled her sons hair as she pulled them in closely for a hug. Ciarra smiled warmly as she placed her card back into her purse and zipped it back up. Saitama nodded and took the food he had been given and seemed pleased by it being free.

"Quite the bargain isn't it?" Ciarra grabbed a bag or two herself. Saitama pushed the door open to let her leave first. "Oh it gets better because I got two deals in one. "

Ciarra raised an eyebrow " How exactly ?" She was rather intrigued with what he meant.

Holding up a brown paper bag it contained some of the monster remains. "This seems like a logical dinner to me."

Dead panned

Oh not the look Saitama was expecting.

"What?!"

Freezing in her tracks Ciarra turned to scold him. "We came here to get groceries."

"But this is groceries." He persisted.

"MONSTER REMAINS IS NOT GROCERIES ITS GROSS!"

"You need a hobby." He turned his attention back to the bags of food he acquired today still pleased with it.

" I need a hobby? "

Oh she's heard this one through the course of their friendship.

" . . . Pick me a hobby and then maybe I'll consider it. " she shrugged as she strolled alongside him.

Saitama looked up at her smirking at her snide remark. " Sunset watching. "

" I . . . .fine." Ciarra said somewhat surprised he actually answered. He seemed somewhat . . . sincere.

Heading back to the apartment was simply just as easy as the journey was on the way out. Once inside and groceries put away in their specific area, Ciarra sighed gently as she threw the last paper bag away.

"Were you looking for this?" Ciarra looked up through the pass to see Saitama holding up the glitter shadow she had been making a fuss about before the monster incident. Jaw dropped as she just wasn't sure what to say. "H-how. . .when?!" She asked leaving the kitchen to approach him as he was seated cross-legged at his table.

Settling down on her knees he slid the slightly torn package of makeup across the table to her. She picked it up carefully examining the luminous glow to it.

" Just have it okay? " He shrugged.

Ciarra smiled gently. "Thank you. "

Saitama nodded as he watched her tear it open and dab her fingers into it swiping the product across her wrist.

" Wow , this is really pretty." Twisting her wrist back and forth gently in the living room light admiring the soft shimmery glow of the make up.

The silence was disrupted by her phone going off. Quickly , she flicked her wrist and her phone floated right into her hand.

A grim expression coated her face. Twisting her features in disgust at the text she received. And whom it was from.

Saitama noticed her face only to turn his attention to his TV. Better to let her handle that kinda stuff on his own. He wasn't one for prying.

Silencing her phone she sighed. "I got an invite to a party."

"Ah." He nodded eyes still glued to the TV. Ciarra switched her eyes from him to TV and sighed.

"Well, uhm , today was eventful to say , but it is getting late and I think I should head home. " she stood up and rounded up her belongings. Saitama now laying on his side lay back to watch her. "See ya." He waved at her before turning his attention back to the news. Half a smile forced onto her face as she nodded in return. "You too." And with that saw herself out of his apartment, quietly shutting the door behind her. Once the door was closed she sighed. "What am I going to do . . . ."

Her phone screen lit up with a picture of a handsome man with long blue hair and golden yellow eyes and handsome features came across with the caller contact ID of BEAUT ran across the top. Shaking her head she walked around the corner to get away from the apartment before she answered. " Hello?" She forced herself to sound cheerful.

"Hello , Ciarra and how are you?" A male voice returned on the speaker. Rolling her eyes she would push herself to get through this. It was just a call. . . .for now.

" I am fine and just how are you?"

" Hm . . . .pleasant, but it would be better with you here next to me. "

"Oh really?" She laughed as she felt nervous within.

Trying to play her callers remark off as a simple joke and nothing more—despite the fact she felt incredibly uncomfortable.

" Ciarra you are rising so fast and gaining so many people's attention—even my own. "

" As if I care what you think . . ."

The caller paused. " You should apply for the hero association. And consider my invite to my dinner party."

Trying to swallow was difficult with her mouth dry as winter's air.

"Why of course, it's an honor you even thought of someone so minor such as me. I will have to make plans to attend but I surely won't disappoint. "

"Well , my time here is short. Unfortunately, I have an interview in a few minutes; a big one about my movie, I hope to see you at my party. Sure you can make it. It is several months in advance. My biggest party every year. It would be made perfect to have you there. "

" Well , have a great interview and I look forward to hearing from you soon. . . .Beaut."

" Oh , I am sure you do. Have a nice rest of your night . . .please don't dissatisfy me. I look forward to your appearance. "

And with that the caller hung up. Chills ran down the models spine as she clutched her phone, shaking from irritation. . . .and fear.

How was someone so much more famous and well known then she even was so intrigued with someone like her?

Wishing to not think of it she took off into the newly born night to head home. Couldn't be bothered with it at the moment. Perhaps . . . Soaking in her hot tub would relax her and help her find peace. . . .

I finally just finished Chapter two. So far I have seen my first chapter has gotten a little love and let me say , that has warmed my cold little dead heart a ton. Resurrect my heart would you ? ︎It did take longer to finish this chapter then I intended and I do realize it might not be the best but I am trying I think. . . any feedback of criticism that is worthy and would help—with all do respect comment and let me know. I do have a comment saying something about plot holes. I am not tying too hard to remain true to the stories line but if any one wouldn't mind letting me know what plot holes were present in chapter one let me know. I'm oblivious and need a little guiding. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I plan to upload chapter three soon. Any suggestions let me know!
