Station Officer Steele was waiting for Sam, Ellie, and Sarah to return from Newtown with Jupiter in the Fire Station Garage. Meanwhile, Penny and James were heading back to the Fire Station in Venus when they saw a Drone overhead. Back at the Fire Station, Elvis and Arnold pulled in with Mercury and Phoenix after they put out the fire near the Mountain Activity Center.

Steele: "Cridlington, I just got off the phone with Helen and Mike, They're on their way back from America after they had to make a stop in Miami, Florida."

Elvis: "Really, sir."

Steele: "Yes. In fact, I did receive a message from Sergeant Ravani, and PC Williams that they still have not found the person responsible for the fire over a month ago."

Elvis: "Ok, sir. I'll tell Sam when he arrives."

Elvis and Arnold were just pulling in when Venus pulled in with Penny and James.

Penny: "Hello, Elvis."

Elvis: "Hello, Penny."

Penny: "Did anyone know that Sarah was coming home now?"

Elvis: "I did, Penny. You were up in the mountains, remember?"

Penny: "Oh, did Sam tell you?"

Elvis: "Yes, Penny, he did."

Penny: "Ah, I see. Come on James; why don't we enjoy some water together."

Penny and James went upstairs to the kitchen when Jupiter pulled in with Sam, Ellie, and Sarah from Newtown.

Sam: "Ellie, I need to make sure you get Sarah upstairs onto the bean bags."

Ellie: "Ok, Sam."

It has started to get dark in Pontypandy when Trevor pulled in with Helen, Mike, Charlie, and Bronwyn from Cardiff Airport.

Mike: "Hello, Sam."

Helen: "Hi, Sam."

Charlie: "Hello there, Sam."

Bronwyn: "Hello, Sam."

Sam: "Hello, Everyone."

Charlie: "I hope that you had everything under control, Sam."

Sam: "Yes, Charlie. I had everything under control. How was your Holiday?"

Charlie: "It went very smoothly. Until we left the Airport."

Sam: "Ah, I see now."

Charlie: "I heard that Sarah was in Hospital yesterday because of a winter bug that Derek had."

Sam: "That's true, Charlie."

Ellie: "Ok. I think we better talk in the Kitchen upstairs."

Sam: "Good idea, Ellie."

It has been a day since Charlie and Bronwyn came home with Helen and Mike from their holiday in America. Sarah, James, Mandy, Norman, and Hannah were up in the Mountains with Moose. Moose came back with some Headlamps because they were going into the caves.

Moose: "Right then kids, today we are looking at old mines in the caves along the railway."

Hannah: "Moose, what time will we be back?"

Moose: "I think we'll be back by 6 this evening."

Hannah: "The time right now is 3 in the afternoon."

Moose: "Ok, kids. I suggest we hurry and complete our adventure before it gets dark."

The kids went on their adventure with Moose in the caves along the railway when all of a sudden, a fire started to spread towards the caves. Back at the Station, Station Officer Steele was telling Sam about the fire over a month ago. Outside the Station, Elvis noticed a Vehicle approaching the Station.

Jordan: "Good Afternoon."

Elvis: "Hello there."

Jordan: "Is Fireman Sam around the Station?"

Elvis: "He's in Station Officer Steele's Office."

Sam was talking with Station Officer Steele when Elvis walked in with Jordan.

Sam: "Hello, Jordan."

Jordan: "Hi, Sam."

Sam: "What brings you to Pontypandy?"

Jordan: "I have a lead into the cause for the fire over a month ago."

Sam: "Ok, I can pass this to the Police, and then I'll call you later."

Jordan: "Ok, See you later."

Back at the Caves, the fire was still spreading. When the kids were in the caves walking backward with Moose, the rocks came loose and caused the twins to fall over from behind over another Ravine and landed on the edge.

Mandy: "Sarah, James! Are you ok?"

Sarah: "We're Ok, but we hurt ourselves on landing."

James: "We can't climb back up or move down."

Hannah: "We'll never make it to the caves now, and it's getting dark. I think we better call Fireman Sam."

Moose: "Ok, I'll call Tom for the Helicopter."

Station Officer Steele was reading his emails when the Map Screen 700 went off. He rushed over to turn it on, and it shows a map of the Mountains with the Ravine where Tom injured his shoulder when the Prince was in Pontypandy.

Map Screen: "There is a fire on Pontypandy Mountain, and the Pontypandy Pioneers are trapped near a Ravine."

Steele: "Great Tangled Hoses!"

Station Officer Steele pushed the button to activate the Fire Station alarm and read back over the microphone.

Steele: "There is a fire on Pontypandy Mountain, and the Pontypandy Pioneers are trapped near a Ravine."

Map Screen: "And the wind is making it spread quickly."

Station Officer Steele read back into the microphone one more time.

Steele: "And the wind is making it spread quickly!"

Sam and the rest of the crew slid down the poles to get their firefighting gear and climbed onto Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus. Sam decided to call Tom for some backup.

Sam (over radio): "Tom, we got a huge fire on Pontypandy Mountain. The pioneers are trapped near the ravine. We need Wallaby 2!"

Tom: (over radio): "Roger that, Sam. Moose told me the same thing, and on my way."

Up in the Mountains, Moose was waiting for help to arrive when they heard Wallaby 2 overhead and the sirens from Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus.

Penny: "Sam. Sarah and James are not where they should be."

Sam: "This means that they are down the ravine on the edge. They could be injured."

Penny: "Ok. Once the fire is out, Ellie and I will go down to help them. I'll call Doctor Alexander to meet us here."

Sam: "Ok. Elvis, you control the water outlets on Jupiter. Arnold, you and I will fight the Fire. Ellie, you call Station Officer Steele, and see if he can bring the Police with him."

Penny, Ellie, Arnold, and Elvis: "Roger that, Sam."

As they cleared a path, Sam made sure that everyone was behind Jupiter, and Venus for safety. Station Officer Steele arrived at the scene on Hydrus with PC Williams and Sergeant Ravani in the 4x4.

Steele: "Ok. It looks like the fire is out, but the twins have fallen down the ravine and are now injured."

Rose: "Right, we'll help Sam, Arnold, and Elvis keep everyone back until Wallaby 2 has left."

Ellie: "Ready, Penny?"

Penny: "Ready, Ellie."

Penny and Ellie abseiled down the ravine to check that Sarah and James are ok. Soon, they made it down to where they were and got right to work. Ellie went to help Sarah, and Penny went over to help James.

Penny: "Hi James, are you hurt anywhere?"

James: "Yes. I slipped on the ravine as the fire was spreading, and I hurt my foot."

Penny: "Oh dear. Can you try and move it for me?"

James: "No, I'm in too much pain to move it."

Penny: "I know, James."

Tom (over radio): "Sam is coming down to you Penny."

Penny (over radio): "Thanks, Tom."

Sam was lowered down with a double harness from Wallaby 2. When he reached the surface of the edge, he knew that it was dangerous. He went over to where Penny was and decided to help James. Meanwhile, Ellie was caring for Sarah until Jordan can arrive.

Ellie: "Hi, Sarah. Can you tell me what happened?"

Sarah: "Well, I was moving away from the fire when I fell and hurt my head."

Ellie: "Ok. Well, the good news is that you're still remembering everything."

Sarah: "Really?"

Ellie: "Really."

Sarah: "I have never landed on a ravine since Norman put us in danger when Buck Douglas was in Pontypandy."

Ellie: "Lucky you were alright after you broke your arm that time. Ok, I just need to wrap up a bandage around your head, can you try and stay still for me?"

Sarah: "Ok, Ellie."

Ellie, Sam, and Penny were just wrapping up the bandages for the twins when Wallaby 2 pulled in with Jordan. She was soon ready to be lowered down with the double harness when she reached for the radio.

Jordan (over radio): "Ok, Tom. Lower me down."

Tom (over radio): "No problem, Jordan."

Jordan was lowered to where she can help Ellie finish wrapping the bandages on Sarah, while Sam and Penny finished up with James.

Sam: "I think we need to go to Newtown Hospital, Penny. James might have a broken foot at this rate."

Penny: "Good Idea, Sam."

Ellie: "Sarah needs to go too. A ravine is very dangerous, and it could lead to serious injury."

Sam: "Ok, Ellie. Jordan, you, Ellie, and Sarah will be going to Wallaby 2 first."

Jordan: "Roger that, Sam."

Sam (over radio): "Tom, we're going to need a stretcher down here."

Tom (over radio): "Roger that, Sam."

After the stretcher was lowered, Ellie and Jordan decided to take Sarah first.

Ellie: "Ok, Tom. We're ready."

Sarah was soon winched up to Wallaby 2 with Ellie and Jordan beside her. Then, once Ellie, Jordan, and Sarah were in, it was James' turn. Sam and Penny helped him to the stretcher, and Penny helped secure him properly before she placed herself through the harness. Sam joined them after the supplies were brought to Arnold.

Sam (over radio): "Ok. Tom, take us up."

James, Sam, and Penny were soon brought up to Wallaby 2. Once they were winched up and secured, Wallaby 2 was off to Newtown Hospital. Meanwhile back near the ravine, Moose was talking with Station officer Steele, PC Williams, and Sergeant Ravani.

Moose: "I'm sorry, sir. I should've stopped them before the ravine was near us, but the fire was spreading fast."

Malcolm: "Nothing to be ashamed of Moose, I'm just glad everyone is ok."

Moose: "They are PC Williams."

Steele: "Malcolm, I just found something that caused the fire here. This says D. Price on here, I think Derek was known to this, or I could be wrong."

PC Williams was surprised by what Station Officer Steele found that caused the Fire. While they were investigating the fire, Wallaby 2 was landing on the Helipad at Newtown Hospital. Once Tom safely landed, the door was open, and 2 Hospital beds were ready for Sarah and James. Ellie and Jordan went with Sarah, and Sam and Penny went with James.

Jordan: "I need someone to call the parents of Sarah and James Jones and have Fireman Sam tell them what happened. Now!"

Nurse: "I'm on it."

Jordan: "Amy, I need your help."

Nurse Amy: "Ok, what do you need help with?"

Jordan: "I need you to start an IV line for Sarah, and then you can start one for James. It's dark out and I would recommend that they stay here overnight."

Nurse Amy: "You got it, Jordan."

Jordan: "Ellie, can you go and find some blankets to keep them warm. I know you're an NHS licensed paramedic, I can send you to an Ambulance to get them."

Ellie: "Ok, Jordan. I'm on it."

Ellie went to get some blankets for the twins to keep warm while Sam and Penny stayed with James and kept him calm because he was scared from the fall at the ravine. Jordan was busy checking Sarah's injuries, and Amy started an IV line for both Sarah and James. Soon, Ellie came back from the Ambulance with Blankets. They were warm enough for the twins.

Jordan: "Ok, I can have you place this blanket on Sarah, and Amy can help Sam and Penny place it on James. That way, they will be warm and cozy."

Ellie: "Ok, Jordan."

Soon, Ellie, Jordan, Amy, Sam, and Penny were finished with a busy emergency call. Sam decided to go call Bronwyn and Charlie about Sarah and James. Sam knew that Moose did not notice the ravine behind them while the fire was spreading quickly. Ellie and Penny were worried about Sam, but they stayed with the twins in case Sam leaves the building. Charlie was at the Café when the phone rang.

Charlie: "Hello."

Sam: "Charlie, it's Sam."

Charlie: "Hello, Sam. Have you found Sarah and James yet? They should've been back from their adventure with Moose."

Sam: "That's why I'm calling, Charlie."

Charlie: "What happened?"

Sam: I am in Newtown Hospital right now. Sarah and James were brought here because there was a fire where they were, and they fell down a ravine and hurt themselves."

Charlie: "Oh no, Do you want me and Bronwyn to meet you there, or are you there after you arrived in Wallaby 2?"

Sam: "Tom brought me with Ellie and Penny. I would like you to meet me there tomorrow."

Charlie: "Ok, Sam. I'll tell Bronwyn. Bye."

Sam: "See you tomorrow, Charlie."

Sam later hung up the phone at the reception desk and went back to where Ellie and Penny were waiting. As soon as Sam got back to the room, they realized that Sarah and James were asleep. So, they decided to talk quietly.

Penny: "I made sure that James was comfortable, and he was soon asleep after I calmed him down. He seems frightened by the height of the fall."

Ellie: "I checked that Sarah was ok, and Hospital staff said that they can sleep now. Sarah soon fell asleep when I reassure her that everything was going to be fine."

Sam: "Ok, I talked to Charlie, they're on their way here tomorrow."

As they were just finished changing into their Station Uniforms, Jordan came in with 2 extra recliners for Ellie and Penny to sleep on while Sam slept on the one that was already there. Soon, they will find out what James and Sarah had broken. Sam, Ellie, and Penny later fell asleep right beside Sarah and James. Ellie slept beside Sarah, and Sam and Penny slept beside James on each side.

Author's Note: Hello, Everyone. I would like to remind you that I am almost done with this Story, and I decided that Dr. Jordan Alexander will be arriving to Pontypandy in this chapter and the next. Also, the next chapter will continue on the same day that Charlie and Bronwyn were home from their Holiday in America, and Helen and Mike joined them for the trip from Cardiff Airport. We are very close to catching the person responsible for the fires in the Mountain over a month ago, and near the ravine. I hope I can write more Fireman Sam stories soon.
