The next few days went by fast and Pina was visiting with Bozes at her and Tomita's apartment.
"How's it feel being a mother?" asked Pina as she looked at Mai playing with some blocks over in a corner. The two of them were sitting on the couch drinking some tea.
"It's been a little tough as I'm still getting used to this world, but the neighbors are real kind and help me out," said Bozes.
"One of them even taught me about that internet thing and it's been interesting," she said before taking a sip of her tea.
"What about Tomita, he asked to be resigned over here so he won't be in danger over in our world," said Pina.
"It was sweet and all for him to do that, but I kind of wish we were still over there helping everyone," said Bozes.
"As much as I'm enjoying this world I miss the training and all that I did back home," she said as she looked down at her cup with a sad expression.
"You really want to go back that much?" asked Tomita as he walked in.
"I just want to be able to show Mai where I'm from and to train her to fight like I did," said Bozes.
"Then let's go back," said Tomita with a smile.
"What?" asked Bozes with a stunned expression.
"I was given permission to come and go from the Special Region since I'm a member of the JSDF, and it extends to family, so we can get a house there too," said Tomita.
"Are you sure?" asked a shocked Bozes.
"I am," said Tomita. Bozes then jumped up and hugged him. This made Mai come over and ask what was going on. Meanwhile, in the mountains of the Special Region.
"Don't worry little one, I'll find the one you belong with," said an old man as he carried a large egg in a basket.
