A few hours later, 8:30 rolled around, and the girls were finished getting ready for the evening. They already polished off two and a half bottles of pinot noir and were laughing, just walking down the hallway to get to the floo in the Parkinson home. The trio had to make a pit stop there, so Elodie could drop off the remainder of her new wardrobe, and put on the perfect set of emerald earrings to match her new cocktail dress. It was a deep green with black lace, cut just above the knee, with a bateau neckline. The real appeal to it for Elodie was the back, that was cut all the way down to just above her tailbone. It puffed out at her waist ever so slightly, making it bounce with every step she took. Daphne wore a similar dress, the biggest difference being the plunging neckline that showed off her chest just enough to make any boy's head turn. The back was also quite different, it ended just above the middle of her back, bringing more attention to the front, just as she liked it. It was also solid blue, which was the perfect color to make her beautifully tanned skin stand out. Astoria's dress was much tighter, unlike the other girls'. It was a deep scarlet red, and it clung to her every curve. The sweetheart bodycon, in addition to the smokey make-up that Daphne helped her with made her look at least five years older than she actually was. Elodie felt much more modest next to the pair, but she knew that she looked just as impressive as they did.

After stepping out of the fireplace in the Zabini home, Elodie quickly realized that being fashionably late was not much of a thing in Wizarding England. Everyone, at least she hoped everyone, was already there. There were at least 50 people in the room that the three girls stepped into, and it was only 9:05.

"Didn't Pansy say this was a last minute affair?" Elodie said in Astoria's direction, barely able to hear herself over the room of chatter and music.

"Ah, Zabini does not do half-assed, which is I'm sure why we were expected to dress well," Astoria smiled, "Welcome to pure-blood England. Everyone is always trying to out-do each other in this community, nothing is ever modest."

The girls walked into the room casually making their way over to what appeared to be a full bar. Elodie admired the home, it looked more like a club than anything else with the way Blaise had arranged it. There was a large area across the room that people were gathered in, talking and dancing and drinking. Elodie also noticed a few lounge areas, scattered across the room. Some had couches, some had chairs, some had tall tables with bar style chairs. If she hadn't known better, she would have thought they actually had flooed to a club.

After ordering another glass of wine, switching to a sauvignon blanc because it was all they had in the wine department, Elodie turned her back to the bar to observe the room. She scanned the crowd, and noticed Pansy and Blaise chatting, seemingly intimately, on one of the couches across the room.

"Should we go say hello?" Elodie asked, pointing to where they sat.

"No, they are a nightmare to be around when they are in deep conversation like that. There is absolutely no putting your two cents in," Astoria grumbled, taking a sip out of a fruity-looking pink drink.

"Why don't we say hi to Draco," Daphne smirked, grabbing Elodie's elbow and pointing in his direction. Truthfully, Elodie was looking for him, she just hadn't been able to spot him yet. Her gaze followed Daphne's direction, and she saw him talking to Theo at one of the high-top tables, deep in conversation with a tumbler glass in his hand.

"Do you actually mind if I go over alone? I want to give him a proper thank you," Elodie said, shyly for once, "If I could even figure out what to say."

"It'll come to you," Astoria nudged her forward, "Go thank him."

Elodie nodded before walking in his direction. His back was to her, so he would not see her approach, thankfully. Her heels clicked as she walked, and suddenly that was all she could hear. Over the loud conversion, and the booming music, all Elodie could hear was the click-clack of her heels every time she would take a step. As she got closer, the click-clack and the hard, steady beat of her heart was all the sound that would fill her ears. Why was she so nervous suddenly? She didn't even like this kid, she was just obligated by polite society to thank him for spending so much money on her.

"Hello, gentlemen," Elodie interrupted the pair, "I'm so sorry to interrupt."

They turned to her, and Draco immediately gave her a hard once-over. Color immediately flooded her cheeks and she bit her lip.

"Well, hello Elodie, that is quite alright actually, Theo was just about to go find Blaise," Draco said, flashing Elodie a small smile, "Isn't that right, Theo."

"Right, I was, he owes me a drink," Theo nodded at Elodie politely, before turning to go find Blaise and Pansy.

"How is your evening going thus far?" Draco inquired before taking a long sip from his tumbler.

"Quite well, actually," Elodie gave him a genuine smile, before setting her wine glass down on the table in front of them and carrying on, "I had a very interesting time at the boutique with Daphne and Astoria this afternoon."

"Oh? Did you now?" He smirked, before setting his tumbler down next to her wine glass, "How so?"

"It was so weird, I brought 1000 galleons worth of clothing, accessories, and shoes to the counter, and they said my account was declined. Odd right, I've never even been there before, and I have a negative account," She chuckled out, earning a genuine smile from Draco.

"Well, I find that hard to believe," he chucked.

"As you should," She took a long sip from her glass, "You do know, I'm from a wealthy family as well, right?"

"Of course I know, poor people could never raise a woman that radiates sophistication the way you do."

"Is that so? Well, I just wanted to come over and say thank you. That was a very kind thing for you to do," She motioned to her dress, "I hope you like it, since you bought it."

"I do, very much, green suits you."

"Thank you-"

"Au contraire, thank you, for gracing me with your beauty," He smirked and leaned in, close to her ear, "I love the dress, but I would love it much more, ripped to shreds on the floor."

Elodie's entire body turned a shade of pink and her cheeks grew incredibly warm. Of course, men have hit on her in this fashion before, but never one as charming and handsome as Draco Malfoy. She didn't even know how to respond, because even though he was clearly a dog for saying something like that, Elodie found herself oddly more attracted to him. If he wanted to play the game this way, Elodie would play it right back.

"Well, it is a shame that you feel that way, as I would never in my life allow a man to rip a dress this fine," She smirked, took a sip of wine, and then ran her thumb over her bottom lip just before biting it, "You'd have to let me change into something a little more tear-worthy."

Draco's expression was priceless, something between shock, and awe. Elodie had to fight not to replace her smirk with a genuine smile.

"A worthy adversary, mademoiselle," Draco smirked, before knocking back the rest of his drink, "You are very intriguing."

"I might not be as intriguing as you think, but I do love it that you think so."

"Elodie, I am so delighted that you came!" Pansy interrupted, "Come, come, there are some people I want you to meet."

"A pleasure," Draco smirked, before taking her hand and kissing the top like he had when they first met, "Enjoy the rest of your night, hope to see you around, love."

She nodded, before walking off with Pansy, red as a tomato.

The rest of the night was filled with meeting new people and networking for Elodie. If this was to be her new home, she would have to make some new connections and this seemed like as good a time as any. Pansy introduced her to a few girls, all seeming to be around their age, and a few men that ranged from 17 to 35. How very like pureblood society, young girls and older men, the dogs, Elodie thought, as she smiled politely and introduced herself to them like she would anyone else. Toward the end of the night, she found her way back to Astoria and Daphne, who had made a few friends themselves.

"Elodie, Elodie, meet Blaise's cousin, Finlay," Astoria slurred, touching the chest of the boy whose arm was draped over her shoulders, "And his other cousin or something, Albie!"

"Very nice to meet you, gentlemen," Elodie laughed and nodded, shaking their hands.

"We made friends tonight, I can not even believe it. I thought we knew all of wizarding England, turns out these two beautiful men escaped us!" Daphne said, clearly as drunk as her sister.

"We live in Scotland love," Albie laughed, "That is why you've never met us."

"Right, right I remember now," Daphne giggled, turning her attention directly to Albie, "Take us away from here before I end up on the bar top, dancing. I have a reputation to uphold, sir!"

They all said their goodbyes before stumbling out together, going God knows where. Elodie looked around the room, seeing no familiar faces, she walked over to the bar to have one last drink before heading to the Parkinson's. She took it slow to make good impressions tonight, so one more glass of wine should give her just the right amount of buzz to make this party have felt worth it.

"I'll have a glass of the white, please," She smiled to the bartender, before he walked away to go get it for her.

"You're still here, hm?" Elodie heard a familiar devilish voice come up behind her, before turning to see those steely eyes again.

"Well, I am leaving shortly, I figured one more before I go."

"I was glad to see you, I wanted to ask you if maybe I could take you out tomorrow?" Draco asked her, casually.

"Draco Malfoy, are you asking me on a date?"

"I guess I am," He smirked, "As I said, I am intrigued."

"Tomorrow, huh? A little short notice for you to have planned something to really wow me," She replied, taking her glass of wine from the bartender as he reappeared with it, and a tumbler of firewhisky for Draco that he had not even asked for.

"I have the perfect thing, actually, came to me the moment I saw you," He smirked, throwing back his full glass of firewhisky in one swig.

"Oh? And how shall I be dressed?"

"You shouldn't be, by the end of it at least," He raised his eyebrows, and she nearly choked on her wine.

"You think very highly of yourself, don't you, Draco," She said, raising her eyebrows back at him.

"Well, you should see yourself the same way."

"Don't worry, I do."

"Excellent, I will be at Parkinson's manor at 6, wear something like this," he said brushing his fingers over the hem of her dress, "Yes something like this will be perfect."

"Well, that shouldn't be difficult," She finished her wine and smiled at him, "Well, I must be off."

"Okay, love," he set down his glass, put his hands on her waist, and tenderly kissed her on each cheek, "See you tomorrow."

She smiled at him, genuinely, then turned and walked for the floo. She stepped in, and as she turned to put her back to the wall of the fireplace, she glanced in his direction to see he was watching her leave. She smirked at him, waved, and then dropped the powder, and flooed to Pansy's.

The next day, Elodie walked down to the back yard, stopping in the kitchen to ask a house elf to bring her a pot of tea once she got out there. Once outside, Elodie saw Pansy, sitting outside drinking tea and reading a book. She was surprised, Pansy did not seem like the type to read on her down time.

"What do you have there?" Elodie asked, taking the seat across from Pansy.

"Just doing a little preparation for school, September isn't far off. It's a magical creature book," Pansy replied, sipping her tea.

"How very studious of you, Pansy," Elodie smirked, accepting her tea kettle and cup from the house elf that just popped to her side. Pansy set her book down, placing a bookmark in it to hold her page.

"I take my studies very seriously, but don't worry, it comes quite naturally to me so there is still plenty of time for other activities," she sipped her tea once more, "Any plans this evening Elodie?"

"Actually, yes, Draco has asked me on a date," Elodie smiled softly, while Pansy raised her eyebrows, "Shall I be nervous then?"

"A date?" Pansy ignored her question, "Draco has asked you on a date?"

"Yes, he told me to wear something like last night, and said he would pick me up at six. Why, is that bad?"

Pansy was quiet for a moment, sipping her tea, obviously in a great deal of thought. She absentmindedly clicked the tea spoon against the cup before sighing softly.

"It isn't bad," she spoke, finally, "It's just, in all my years knowing Draco, he never once has asked a girl on a formal date. Yes, he has had a few drinks with some girls, but mostly he just…" She trailed off.

"He just, what?" Elodie asked after a few moments of silence.

"He just, gets what he wants, and goes. Don't get me wrong, he is a gentleman by all sense of the word, expect one. He does not date, but he also is normally quite upfront about that. Truthfully, I'm the only girl he has ever taken on anything that even resembles a date, but that was just a school ball of ours in our fourth year. The only reason he even did that was because it was expected of us to be there, and we had been seeing each other at the time. It was a coincidence, honestly."

"So, I should be quite nervous then I suppose," Elodie chuckled, "I didn't think much of it when he asked, he seemed so lax about it."

"Nervous, I don't think so. What I think, is that you should feel honored," Pansy said, and at that Elodie raised her eyebrows.

"He should feel honored I accepted," Elodie chuckled.

"Well yes, of course," Pansy smiled, "All I'm saying is, this is something I've never seen before. I think it is somewhat of a big deal."

"Alright, well any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've never given a boy like him a chance before, and if what you all have to say about him is true, I'd like it go well," Elodie winked, causing Pansy to chuckle.

"Just be yourself, you've already got him bewitched if he's willing to wine and dine you," Pansy folded her hands together on the table and leaned in, "Wait, I haven't seen you since we were children. Please tell me you aren't a virgin."

"Oh, Gods Pansy!" Elodie laughed, "Of course I'm not, but I'm likely not as well traveled as he is."

"Oh thank god, he does not do well with virgins."

"We shall see if he even impresses me enough to get into bed with me," Elodie winked, "I should go get ready though, would you like to come with?" Pansy nodded and they both stood up and walked up to Elodie's room.

Two hours later, with Pansy's assistance, Elodie was finally ready for her date with Draco. Pansy helped her pick out a green sweetheart sundress that clung to her from the belly button up, but pleated out the rest of the way. The sleeves were short and off the shoulder, so it showed off her prominent clavicle. She chose a black choker with a small diamond in the center, and diamond earrings that matched. The outfit came together with black stilettos and a sheer black shawl, it was perfect and she knew Draco would love it. Pansy curled Elodie's long dark hair, and pulled the top of it back into a clip so it was off of her face.

"C'est manifique, Pansy, thank you so much. It really brings the look together," Elodie beamed.

"It does, one last thing," Pansy handed Elodie a lipstick, "That color is the perfect shade for this look."

Elodie opened the tube and rolled out the lipstick, it was a gorgeous dark mauve. Pansy was right, this is the perfect shade. She applied it, and then slipped it into her clutch before standing and walking toward the door.

"Thanks, love, I'll return it to you when I get back," Elodie said.

"Keep it, I never use it and it looks wonderful on you."

Elodie opened her door to walk out, and as she did a house elf popped in front of her.

"Miss Elodie, your date has arrived," It spoke, before popping away to wherever it came from.

"I guess I am off, I'll come find you when I'm back to tell you all about it," Elodie said, kissing Pansy on each cheek, and then walking down the stairs to find Draco.

"Well, look at you," Draco said as Elodie walked down the stairs, "A vision. I was right, green is your color."

She smiled at the compliment, and accepted his outstretched hand as she came down the last two stairs to join him in the foyer. He was dressed in all black in a fitting sport jacket, black button up shirt and black slacks. He looked sleek, confident, handsome, it was an all around "Draco" look. His leather shoes were even shined, reflecting off the light in the room. When she reached the ground he kissed the top of her hand, as he seems to do every time he greets her, and placed her hand in the crook of his elbow.

"Do I get to know where we are off to, now?" Elodie asked.

"Of course not, this way," He replied, leading her out of the front door.

The two walked down the driveway to a narrow dirt road, where a magically drawn carriage awaited them. The door swung open for them as they approached, and Elodie stepped in first, and Draco right after.

They talked, mostly small talk, seeming to get to know each other a little bit, while the carriage drew them into a small town. As Elodie looked around, she became confused, where could they possibly be going that was in this tiny, dusty looking little town.

"We're almost there, love, don't worry," Draco flashed a pearly grin.

She nodded, looking back out the window, thinking about what Pansy said. She needed more information, what made her so special that Draco might want to take her on a date. Suddenly the dirt road turned to pavement, and they were no longer the only vehicle on the road. Muggle cars were flying by, and Elodie became very nervous.

"The carriage is shielded to them, it looks like one of their vehicles. Don't be alarmed," He said as if reading her mind, "And no, we are not going anywhere that muggles can go, but it is, however, hidden in a muggle town."

She eased back into her lax position in the carriage as it pulled on, until a few moments later, it came to a stop. She looked out the window, once again, and only could see things that screamed "muggle shop" to her. The door swung open, and Draco exited the carriage, holding out a hand for her to do the same. She stepped out, and resumed his hold on the crook of his elbow once again. He walked her toward a shop, it appeared as though all it did was sell lights, it was very odd. He opened the door and held it open for her, they both walked through.

"Draco, did you just take me on a date, dressed like this, to a lamp shop?" Elodie raised her eyebrow at him.

"Of course not, don't be ridiculous," He laughed and pulled her toward the back, "Just come on."

He waved at the man sitting at the counter, who looked up at them briefly before returning to a magazine. They walked through a door at the back of the shop, the room was pitch black inside. If Draco hadn't been leading her, she was sure she would have fallen over or something along those lines by now. Just as Elodie was about to protest, she saw a small light appear in the distance, just over Draco's shoulder. As they kept walking, she realized that more lights were appearing, and suddenly there were many small lights of all different colors all around them.

"They're fairies," Draco said as one flew up beside Elodie, going in circles around her head, before flying away again, "Well, they're a special breed of them at least. Very rare, but more than that, very beautiful. If you see one up close, still, they are simply magnificent."

Elodie was in awe, though one had yet to come close enough, and stay still enough, for her to be able to see the being as a whole and not just the light that they illuminate, it was still quite a sight to behold. They were everywhere, illuminating the hallway just enough for them to be able to see each other, and the path they were on. She smiled, soaking in her surroundings, and he seemed to notice.

"This is breath-taking, honestly Draco," She beamed.

"Wait until we get inside," He said, now leading her through an outdoor area, now illuminated by the fairies, and the large full moon in the sky. There were trees everywhere, and a low wooden fence, serving as a path for them. Just ahead, there was a small building, with large glass windows serving as the walls. As they walked inside, she realized it was a restaurant, illuminated entirely by the fairies and candle light.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy," The maitre d said as they walked in, "Follow me, this way."

The two walked behind the tall man, through the busy restaurant to a room toward the back. Elodie raised her eyebrows, and followed him inside. It was a decent sized, private room, with only one circular table in the center with two place settings and a candle in the center of the table. Draco pulled out her chair, and tucked it in behind her as she sat, then sat opposite of her.

"A bottle of the Domaine de la Romanee Conti," Draco said. The maitre d nodded, and walked out of the room.

"Wow, that's quite the bottle, Draco," She laughed, "That has to be at least 800 galleon."

"Nothing but the best," He smirked.

"So," she baited, "Is this where you take all of the ladies you court? Foreplay for the dress ripping?"

"All the ladies?" Draco raised an eyebrow, "At 800 galleons a bottle of wine, you think I bring all of the ladies here?" He chuckled.

"Well, I'm just trying to figure this situation out," She shrugged, "Something isn't adding up quite right here," he raised an eyebrow, enticing her to go on, "Well, I mean we just met, and this is quite a beautiful place, don't get me wrong, it's just a lot for a girl you've only just met."

"I'm very to the point, love, I don't want to waste your time, or mine."

"I'm still confused, that isn't a very reassuring answer."

As she spoke, a waiter came in with the wine, two glasses, and a plate of hors d'oeuvres. He set down the plate, then both glasses, and opened the bottle of wine. Even the label on the bottle looked expensive. He poured two glasses, and then left, wordlessly.

"Did you order ahead?" She asked, "I'm quite picky, you know."

"I'm aware, actually, I did some research before ordering," he smirked again, seeming to be a common look of his.

"Did you now? Who is airing my dirty laundry then?"

"Astoria and Daphne, of course," He laughed, and she thought about it. He was right, she did talk to them about what she fancies, the day they all went to the boutique.

"Ah, so you have spies then?"

"They just wanted to make sure that we had a good time," He retorted.

"Well, we had that conversation before you even asked me out," Elodie said, "How did you know I would say yes?"

"I was hopeful, that's all," He sipped his wine, "And i'm glad you did."

The rest of the meal was filled with pleasant and polite conversation that truthfully never even lulled for one awkward second. They talked, laughed, even argued once or twice, but over all, the meal was pleasant and enjoyable for both of them. Elodie liked everything that Draco ordered for them, so his research definitely paid off well. After dessert, they stood to leave, and Draco took her arm and walked them back to the magically drawn carriage.

"So, what did you think of the place?" He asked her as they got back in.

"It was really beautiful, honestly. No one has ever taken me somewhere like that. It was very thoughtful of you, Draco," Elodie blushed at her admission.

"I actually have one more place to take you tonight, and then I will take you back to Parkinson's."

"Oh, my. There is more?"

A few moments later, they arrived at an open field, surrounded by trees.

"Is this the part where you murder me?" She asked, laughing.

"You wish," He smirked, "Follow me."

He took her hand in his and pulled her toward the middle of the field where there were three large paper-bag looking things on the ground and a pile of colored quills.

"Okay, what is all this then?" She raised an eyebrow.

He dropped to the ground on his knees and picked up one of the bags, and one of the green quills. He began writing, in perfect penmanship, the word "fireworks". He then took out his wand, waved it effortlessly and mumbled "incendio". The bottom of the bag lit on fire, and the bag slowly started expanding and turning green. It floated into the air and started flying away. Elodie looked at Draco, even more confused, before a loud pop sounded, and she saw the bag burst open. A few seconds later, beautiful fireworks lit up the sky, exploding one by one and falling away into the night sky. She gasped, giggled, and then clapped her hands.

"Draco, that is amazing!" She beamed, "What are these things? I have never seen them before!"

"They are pretty amazing," He started, "They are wishing bags, you write what you wish for on them, send them off into the sky, and they make it happen."

"Can you wish for anything?"

"No, unfortunately there are some pretty strict rules on that," He explained, "Anything simple enough."

Her eyes lit up and she clapped her hands together once more. She hurried over to a bag, picked up a pink quill, and in cursive wrote the word "doves", and mirrored Draco's wand motion and incantation. The bag took off, lit up pink, and when it was just above the treeline, it popped open, and at least a dozen doves flew out of the bag.

"C'est magnifique!" She exclaimed, "Oh, Draco this is just-"

"Amazing?" He laughed, "You mentioned."

She playfully smacked her hand to his chest and smiled genuinely.

"Can I be honest, Draco," Elodie said after a few moments of silence.

"Yeah, go on."

"This was likely the best date I have ever been on."

"Is that so?" He smirked.

"Yes, it was incredibly thoughtful and dare I say, quite sweet."

"Don't tell anyone, I have a reputation to uphold, you know."

"Fair," She paused for a moment, "But I do want to ask you something."

"Go on," He laughed, repeating himself.

"Well, Pansy said you've never asked a girl on a date before," She laughed, "And I know I play the game the way you seem to like it played, but I-I just was confused why you asked me so quickly after meeting me."

"Oh, well, she shouldn't have told you that, that puts a bit of pressure on the situation, don't you think," she nodded, but he continued, "Truthfully, I'm not completely sure why. Something about you. I guess you just entice me."

"I find it very difficult to believe no girl has ever enticed you before," She tilted her head and raised her eyebrow at him.

"Of course I have been enticed, at least twenty times," he laughed and she rolled her eyes, "I can show you how well enticed I have been, if you'd like to let me in the ruffles of your dress."

"You are quite the pig you know, we were having a lovely chat just now, you know," She said, furrowing her brow.

"Oh, come off it," He said, "That is exactly why you accepted me on my invitation on this date. You're curious."

She smiled as he offered his arm to her once more and motioned his head toward the direction of the carriage. He took the crook of his elbow once more and followed him back.

"So, tell me, are you excited to begin at Hogwarts this year?" Draco said, bringing up school for the first time.

"Well, I'm not, not excited. I'm nervous, to be sorted at least. What if I get hufflepuff and all these English folk think I'm nice. Imagine the talk when they realize how rotten I am."

He laughed, a full belly laugh, and put his hand on the small of her back as she stepped into the carriage.

"I assure you, you will not be a hufflepuff."

"You think? What do you suppose I will get?"

"Slytherin or Ravenclaw, but for your sake I hope Slytherin. All of us are in Slytherin."

"All of you? Really? That seems so strange to me."

"Well, not really, our parents are all like minded individuals. Your upbringing has a lot to do with the house you're sorted into. Thankfully most of us have enough sense to know that our parents were not completely right in their way of thinking."

"Oh right, I'll be a shoe in for slytherin then, my parents spout that pureblood mess. I don't mind, I mean I only benefit from being a pureblood, I'm grateful for it honestly, but it is quite the mess."

"Right, exactly."

"Why Ravenclaw?"

"Hmm?" Draco seemed confused at the quick subject change.

"Why do you think I might get Ravenclaw?"

"Oh, you're always reading, you're well educated, you seem dedicated to your schooling," Draco listed.

"Well, aren't you observant," She smiled at him, "I guess we shall find out in a few days, not much longer to ponder it."

"Is that so? We have three weeks left until school, but you'll know this week?"

"Well, Mcgonagall thought it would be best I not be sorted with the first years, as to not draw attention away from them. You know how important the first day of your first year can be," She shrugged, "Plus, the sooner I know, the better."

"Fair enough," He looked out of the window, "We're about there, are you sure you're not ready to let me rip this dress off of you?"

All of Elodie's blood rushed to her face as she turned a deep crimson, but she replied without wavering, "I'm not that impressed yet, love."

"Had to try," Draco smirked, as the carriage slowed to a halt and the door swung open once more. He stepped out, and once again offered his hand to Elodie. She stepped out, and took his arm and allowed him to walk her to the door.

"I had fun tonight," she beamed as they stopped at the front door.

"I did too, actually," He said, genuinely, "The night is only missing one last thing."

"What is that?'

He smirked, putting one hand on her small waist, and the other on the back of her neck, tangling it up in her dark curls. Her heart thud hard in her chest, as he inched closer to her lips. She wasn't sure what to do, and stood frozen in time. His lips brushed hers softly, they were softer than she imagined they would be, and he tasted like the wine they had with dinner. She breathed in softly, and then leaned in to deepen the kiss. He obliged for a moment, before pulling back and stepping away.

"Have a good night Elodie," With that he was gone, walking back toward the apparition point.

Elodie slinked up to her bedroom to find Pansy waiting patiently on her bed, reading the same book she had been engrossed in earlier. They spent the rest of their night sharing a bottle of wine and discussing the date Elodie and Draco shared. She told her every detail, down to the interest Draco showed in getting to know Elodie. She was happy with the way the night went, and happy to share it with Pansy. Pansy was just as happy to hear about how lovely it was. It wasn't long before the wine took over, and the girls found themselves falling fast asleep together in Elodie's room once more.
