"Time to run again!" Sonic said as he was dashing all over the green hill zone by the seaside, only to stop as he spotted certain red rings spinning around, making him groan as he slapped his forehead. "Oh you gotta be kidding me."
It was Sonic's worst nightmare made realized... the infamous red coin rings. How he dreaded having to collect them as he remembered a time where he accidentally spent too much time using them on a certain item, only for it to backfire on him immensely.
"Well screw it, it's not like I'm doing anything of value today." Sonic said in defeat for he just dashed forward and grabbed them, much to his dismay.
A certain bear and bird were watching this from nearby for they had finished smashing all of their fellow fighters, the animal duo looking at each other oddly.
"Kazooie something tells me that Sonic doesn't like collecting." Banjo pointed out while playing the musical instrument he shared a name with.
Kazooie laughed while flapping her wings, getting her feathers within the backpack. "Psh it's clear that hedgehog boy doesn't know where to stick it Banjo."
