They went to the Nexus. Tony and Felicity worked their magic and the billionaire couldn't help but notice how the interns took a photo with him, thinking he didn't notice. He said that he doesn't want them to post it until the next week and Felicity couldn't help her laugh that she was holding the whole time. They found Ultnon's enemy. It turned out it was an old friend.

Tony pushed the jet to its limits so their flight wasn't that long. They were headed to the Avengers tower where they would meet with Barton and hopefully the others. When they got to the tower Clint had come back together with Felicity's team and that new guy – Flash?, Tony wasn't sure.

"Hey!" Felicity said and went to hug everyone. "Where are Nat and Steve?" she asked.

"Ultron kidnapped Natasha" Clint said "And Steve was trying to stop the Maximoff brothers. We managed to take that tho" they went to where the supposed new body was.

"Any chance Natasha leaves you a message?" Tony asked Barton "You know, old fashioned spy kind of stuffs?"

"Yeah, I'll go find her." Clint said and headed downstairs.

"You know, I may be able to help" Digg said and walked with him. Everyone's attention returned to the body in the capsule.

Someone's phone rang and everyone looked at Oliver. He excused himself as he mouthed something that Tony couldn't quite catch to Felicity and she just nodded. Oliver exited the room and Roy went after him.

"I can work on tissue degeneration" Banner said "if you and Felicity could fry whatever operational system Cho implanted." Tony looked at him for a minute. The new guy said he could help too but Tony had this 'I got an idea' look on his face "No!" Banner answered to his look.

"Yeah, I have an idea!" Banner put his down his glasses "Our ally, the guy protecting the nuclear codes. We found him." Tony said and in a second appeared the hologram of Jarvis who greeted doctor Banner. He heard Felicity explaining to the new guy what was that.

After a whole minute of debate Tony won the argument and the four of them started working on placing everything together. In half an hour Oliver and Roy came back to the room.

"Felicity what are you doing?" Oliver asked angry and kind of disappointed. Before she could answer him Steve showed up with the Maximoff brothers. Tony saw how Oliver and Roy immediately put an arrow in each of their bows aiming at the brother and sister.

"I'm gonna say this once!" Captain made his entrance and it was only Tony's job to snap back at him.

"How about non-ce?" Tony said really proud of his joke.

"Shut it down!" Steve's gaze moved to Felicity "You don't know what you're doing."

"And you do?" Felicity said angry "She's not in your head?" For a second there Steve changed his face from proud to sad but then he looked at Banner and Tony.

"I know you're all angry" said Wanda with her Eastern European accent.

"Oh, we're way past angry!" Banner talked. Tony was… Well, you can say he was surprised. "I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade."

Tony saw how Pietro rolled his eyes and disappeared. For like two seconds there were blue and red lightnings in the room. Barry came back to his place near Felicity and a gunshot echoed. Pietro fell through the shattered glass under him. They couldn't even start fighting when Thor appeared out of nowhere. Oh great, Tony thought, now this guy too. The god of thunder jumped on the capsule and before anyone could say anything Thor lifted his hammer and he gathered some thunders. Tony didn't know what he was doing or how this move was called but he understood that Thor was trying to bring to life the robot? No it wasn't a robot but actually Tony didn't know how to call it yet.

On the screen next to Tony appeared warning 'POWER OVERLOAD'. Thor fall on the ground and the thig, Tony decided that he would just call it that, stood up from the capsule. The thing was looking at Thor and before Tony could understand what was happening the thig flew right over Thor and went to the nearest window. Everyone followed. Steve, Oliver and Roy was ready to attack it but Thor raised his hand to stop them.

The thing looked at the city for a minute or two and everyone was waiting for it to do something. Tony put himself in front of Felicity if this thing happens to be like Ultron, so he could protect her. The man, yes, Tony decided that 'the thing' was quite offensive so he changed it, flew back of the window and landed near Thor.

"Sorry!" He said with the voice of Jarvis "That was odd."

"You helped creating this?" Steve asked Thor. Tony could admit he was a little offended.

"I had a vision. In the center of this vision was the mind stone" Thor said in his serious voice. Steve tried to ask him another question but the god didn't let the super soldier to finish his question. "Stark is right"

"Ooh," Felicity said behind Tony and everyone turned to face her "It's definitely the end times..." Tony looked at his daughter even more offended.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron. Not alone." The man said.

"Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?" Oliver asked Thor

"We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to create something new." Tony said.

"You think I'm a child of Ultron. I'm not Ultron. I am not Jarvis. I am..." the man said and made a pause. A dramatic pause. Tony tried very hard not to roll his eyes. But this, this was in the billionaire style, so he couldn't judge the man "I am!"

"I looked in your head and saw annihilation." Said the annoying Maximoff sister with her eastern European accent.

"Look again." The man urged her and Barton scoffed.

"Her seal of approval means jack to me." Said Clint and with that Tony couldn't agree more. It was probably the first time they both had the same opinion about something.

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone. And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side-" Thor said but Steve cut him

"Is it?" Steve asked. Well, great, Tony thought, at least he wasn't the only one who would think of the men as it "Are you? On our side?"

"I don't think it's that simple. I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't." the man spoke again and Tony couldn't just ignore the fact that he sounded just like Jarvis. "He will end it all."

"What's he waiting for?" this time Tony spoke. The man answered with a simple 'you'

"Where?" asked Banner

"Sokovia." Clint answered instead of the man "He's got Nat there, too."

"I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the Earth." The man said and again all looks were on him "So, he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net. We have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others." He made a pause again. Tony could admit he was starting to like his guy! The man turned at the team "Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended." He said and went to Thor's hammer "So, there may be no way to make you trust me." And he lifted it. Holy shit, he lifted the freaking hammer "But we need to go."

The whole room was quiet for at least three minutes. Everyone was thinking weather or not to believe this thing – sorry – man. Thor broke the silence first.

"Right. Well done." He smiled at Felicity and Banner and put his arm on Tony's shoulder. "Let's go!"

"Three minutes!" Steve said "Get what you need." Everyone started moving around but Tony saw Steve going to Felicity. Then he saw Oliver approaching too. Oh, this wasn't going to end well.

"You'll stay here!" Steve said with his most captain voice.

"Felicity, I'm sorry, but this time I agree with him." Oliver said

"No!" Felicity yelled. "No way I'm staying here, alone" she made a dramatic pause and looked right into Steve's eyes "Ever again" then she looked at Oliver with the same flame in her eyes.

"Felicity, please, you have to think about that!" Digg was the one to spoke up now. Oh great, another traitor, thought Felicity.

"Hey, hey, hey! Leave my daughter alone!" her father said and put his hands protectively on her shoulders. Thank god dad, Felicity thought. "I need a minute with my daughter" he said and waited all of the others to leave them. They didn't even move. "Alone!" Tony said, raising his voice a little.

Oliver, Steve, Diggle and Barry left them alone. She closed her eyes for a second, trying very hard not to cry. She didn't want this to happen again. She had told her father that this was one of the many reasons she left a few years ago and now she was happy that he remembered that. They talked for a couple of minutes and then Felicity accepted her dad's offer. She quickly contacted Fury while the other gathered their things and got on the jet, waiting for them.

Quickly the others gathered. The first to climb into the jet was Oliver. When he saw her his face became worried.

"So," he said trying to not sound harsh on her "you're coming after all?" she just nodded. "Okay" was all he said. Felicity forced a smile and hugged him.

While they stayed like that Steve walked on the jet and Felicity saw how his face changed just like Oliver's when the captain saw the couple. He asked her if she was certain. She just nodded. Then her father and Bruce got on the plane. They started taking about the plan and her father said something like "Iron Man is what he's waiting for!"

"It's true" came another voice. Jarvis' "He hates you the most" they all smiled a little.

After they took of Felicity took care that all of them have comms. She paired them and then gave one to everyone. The flight was silent for the first half and hour then Steve decided to give a motivational speech. She smiled to herself when she remembered how Oliver used to give the same speech.

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace. And that's not gonna happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done. We find out what Ultron's been building, we find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters. That we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."

They landed in Sokovia right after the Cap speech. Everyone went to do their part of the plan. Oliver stopped before walking out of the jet. He turned around and went to Felicity. He put one hand on her cheek.

"It will be alright, you know that, right?" he asked her with his softest voice. She smiled and nodded to him. "I'll come back to you! Whatever it takes!" Oliver said and kissed her softly. Her whole body trembled.

"Honey you have to stay here!" her dad argued with her.

"No!" she yelled at him. "I'm not a little girl anymore dad! I can come to the tower. I would be able to help you more there!" Felicity lowered down her voice

"Nope!" Her dad said "You can help as much as you can help from here. In New York is dangerous! Even Pepper is not there" she didn't even look at him. She just crossed her hands in front of her chest.

"Good luck then!" She said and turned away from him. She walked down the corridor. As she was walking she saw Steve. He saw her too and walked to her.

"Felicity? What's wrong?" Steve asked and put his hand on her waist.

"Apparently I'm just a small child who is not allowed to help when there's an alien invasion over New York. At least that's what my father thinks." A tear dropped from her eye. Steve immediately hugged her

"Okay, let's do that: I'll go and take care me and your father both come back to you safe." He said while stroking her hair.

"You promise?" she looked him like a child looks when its said there is no Santa Claus.

"I promise, Felicity, whatever it takes!" he smiled at her. Her eyes were looking at him, searching if he tells the truth. She then stepped on her toes so she could easily reach his mouth and kissed him. It was not a passionate kiss; it was more like to seal the deal they just both made.

Oliver headed to the ground. She looked at his back, looking where he would go next. She saw Steve looking at her. She just nodded at her. She knew they just had made the same deal they made three years ago. Only now Steve had to take care not only for her father but for Oliver as well.
