This chapter will be a bunch of extra scenes from season 1 episode 9 and 10 and a little extra one that I think should have happened. all the Emily and Aaron scenes since this was a great episode for Emron shippers :)

"You remembered my order," Emily said taking a sip of the coffee that Aaron brought her,

"Double americano three pumps vanilla one pump caramel too ridiculous to forget." Emily gave him a small smile twisting her head. When seth barges in

"Hey, why are you guys so calm don't you check your emails." Emily and Seth run out of Aarons's door after they find out about the security breach "that's a new cup where did you get your coffee today cause that is not the coffee cup from here."

"I don't know Aaron got it for me," Emily said as she saw the corners of Seth's lips perk upward.

"So when are you guys gonna admit you like each other and go on a date already." Emily looked at Seth confused.

"What are you talking about seth."

"You guys clearly like each other so why not just admit it already." Emily let out a small laugh.

"Seth I am not talking about this." Emily turned the corner off to her office trying to hide her red cheeks.

"Emily, have you ever thought that the reason the president won't accept your resignation is that he needs you here… and he's not the only one." Emily felt her breath taken away at Aarons comment.' does he really need me here.' keeping eye contact Aaron was about to talk when seth walked in.

Emily was sitting at her desk when she heard a small knock on the door frame. she looked up to see Aaron. "Hey about what I said earlier." Emily looked back at her laptop and started typing.

"What about you needing me here," Emily said as her mouth formed a smile. She looked up at Aaron for a second and he started laughing. "No, it's cool. I get it. I'm a very likable person." Emily said laughing looking up at him again with a smile forming on his face.

"Yeah listen after you're done with work.." 'this is it he is going to ask me on a date Emily thought but she was brought out of the thought by ding on her phone. "Who is that," Aaron asked, stopping his sentence. Emily looked up from her phone.

"The president needs me. Sorry, what were you saying."

Aaron shook his head. "Oh nothing it is not important I can find you later. Go see what he wants." Emily stands up from her desk.

"Thanks see you later." Emily rushes out of the door leaving Aaron standing in her office.

"Yeah"

Aaron was in the office finishing up work with his suit jacket off and sleeves rolled up when Emily came out from the hallway knocking on the door frame. Aaron looks up to see Emily walking in smiling. "I never got a chance to say thank you for saving my job. Thank you." Emily said leaning against the couch in Aarons office.

"Oh don' t mention it. You're a good employee." Emily crossed her arms across her chest before sitting on the arm of the couch.

"You did all that to keep a good employee around," Emily said looking at Aaron raising her eyebrows at him showing that she knew he liked her.

Aaron tossed the file on his desk before resting his arms on it and leaning against it. "Alright, I may have other reasons." Emily looked at Aaron not mad at the comment that just came out of his mouth.

"Well, I have work to do. If you think of any of those reasons let me know ok." Emily stood up from the chair and walked toward the door trying but failing to not blush.

"Hey, Emily" Aaron called out before she walked out the door. She turned toward him trying to compose herself. " when you're finished with work tonight... " Aaron at this point was trying not to seem too nervous in front of her. "Umm dinner?" Emily wasn't showing but she was screaming inside.

She tried to act like she had to think about it. But she didn't, she already knew her answer. "Ok" she turned around and walked back toward her office still not believing what just happened.

1 hour later.

Emily-Hey I don't think I'm gonna get out of here anytime soon with the hearing but I good with taking out if you are.

Aaron-yeah that sounds good. I was thinking the same thing. Chinese?

Emily smiled down at her phone before responding.

Emily- you know me so well shore.

Aaron laughed slightly at her phone and he saw Seth walk into his office. "Hey, man do you want to get some dinner." Aaron looked up at him and started flipping his phone.

"Umm I and Emily were getting take out. You wanna join?" Aaron watched as Seth's lips rose into a smile and he shook his head.

"Nah man I'll find someone else you two have fun I'll catch up later." Aaron shook his head as he saw Seth leave his office. Then he called the Chinese place to order their dinner.

Emily was working on finishing up paperwork when she heard a knock on the door. She looked up and saw Aaron standing there with a white plastic bag. "You want some food." Emily closed her folder before leaning back in her chair.

"Oh my god yes I'm starving" Aaron laughed as he walked in and put the bag on Emily's table. She meets him at the table and grabs the chicken and rice mean she always gets and sits down bringing her knees to her chest.

"So tell me what were you doing before Kerkman" Emily laughed

"College at the University of Georgia and waitressing at a restaurant off-campus."

"UG that's a party school. Was Emily Rhodes a party girl in college" Emily laughed at the fact that he really thought she was a party girl.

"And to think you knew me Shore. No, I was most of the time working or in class or in my dorm" Aaron laughed but wasn't surprised. "What about you? What did you do before all of this."

" George town and a busboy at some restaurant on campus and then worked in then interned at a sentry office in new york.." Emily eyes widened.

"George town that a party school was Aaron shore a partier." she already thought she knew the answer I mean looks at him of course he was a party boy. Hell he was probably in a frat

"A little I mean I wasn't crazy but I mean if there was a party on Friday night I was there" Emily laughed as her phone dinged. She puts her food on that table and picks it up.

"Seth said that the vote will be back soon and he can bring some drinks for when it comes in," Emily said, taking another bite of her food.

"Sure why the hell not, I need something to drink." Emily laughed before nodding, showing that she needed that too. It was about an hour before seth showed up so they just sat there eating and talking about their past.

"I shared a beach house with some of them in Dewey beach. I mean we were only 19 but they seemed on top of it." Emily said Aaron's lips formed a small smile

"19" Aarons lips formed a small smile

"Yeah and I'm going to need plenty more of these before you get any of those stories." Seth could feel the tension in the room. The little flirty remarks at each other he had to get out of there.

After Seth left Aaron stood up grabbing the bottle and taking a seat next to Emily on the sofa arm and filling up her glass. "You know when I first got here I thought you would do anything to get me out of the white house. Not be the reason I'm still here.`` Emily said, looking at the tv and then at Aaron.

"Yeah well when you first got here I didn't think you could handle it." Emily let out a small laugh

"Yeah you called me a minor leaguer," Emily said with a laugh. Arron laughed too

" yeah well, I was wrong if anything I'm learning from you," Aaron said, looking at Emily. She looked at him. He looked down at her lips before parting his lips slightly and leaning in. Emily stood up putting her drink down and resting her hand on Aarons's cheek. He wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her close. He stayed on the arm because it made them the exact same height. The only thing that pulled them apart was a ding on Emily's phone she pulled away grabbing it off the table.

"It's my roommate she needs me home. Something about her dog.'' Emily typed something back before turning back toward Aaron and placing a hand on his chest. "I'll see you tomorrow." she tried to walk away but Aaron grabbed her hand and it fell off his chest pulling her back in for one more quick kiss. Emily grabbed her bag and calls her roommate

"I'm going to kill you, your dog had to have a problem right now."

Emily was hurting a lot. When Aaron pulled her into that conference room all she wanted to do is grab him, tell him everything and beg him to tell her it was all wrong that this was all a misunderstanding. It took everything in her being not to. It's not like she wanted to push him away. All she wanted to do is go to the 9:30 club with him. But she knew she couldn't do any of that without breaking down. Emily sits down on her couch and just cries. This isn't how this was supposed to go, they were supposed to go out on that date and hopefully more after that. Emily heard a small knock on the door. She wiped the tears off the face and walked to the door. When she looked in the peephole she saw a tall handsome man with curly brown hair that was normally slicked back. He was wearing black sweatpants and a Nike hoodie. She takes a deep breath before opening the door. "Aaron, what are you doing here?" Aaron folded his arms in front of his chest.

"Emily I need to know what is going on here. I mean it's like one minute you really like me and the next you're doing your best to not talk to me if you don't have to. And dont say it is because of this bull shit investigation the president told me everything and apologized I told you that in the piano room.`` Emily felt a tear fall from her eye. She turned her face trying to hide it but failed. Aaron took his finger and swiped the tear off her cheek. "Talk to me Emily," Aaron said softening his voice.

"Do you think I wanted that? Investigate you like that. Investigate somebody that I am falling in… someone I consider my best friend in the white house. No Aaron. I canceled on the club. I have been avoiding you because I can't live with myself doing that to you. When I do see you all I want to do is wrap my arms around you and say how sorry I am but I know it is never going to help you probably hate me right now. And if I did that I would just break down. I can't put myself through that pain." Emily blurted out walking to her couch breaking down into tears. Aaron walked in behind her, closing the door and just losing to what she had to say. He took a seat next to her. He was just listing until he heard her say that he probably hated her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder pulling her into him.

" I could never hate you Emily even if I tried," Aaron said, planting a kiss on the top of her head.

"How. how could you not hate me? I hate myself for what I did." Emily said, pulling away from Aaron and trying to stand up. But not being able to due to Aaron grabbing her hand.

"Because Emily you can't hate someone and love them at the same time.'' Emily froze at the words that just came out of his mouth before letting go of his hand and slowly turning around.

"Wh… what are you saying Aaron," Emily said, tears filling up her eyes. Aaron stood up grabbing Emily's face, whipping off the tear that fell from her eyes.

"I'm saying, Emily Rodes, that I love you, and no matter what you do nothing is going to change that. Nothing will ever make me hate you.'' Aaron rubbed her cheeks with his thumbs before pulling her in for a sweet kiss. Emily grabbed Aarons's wrist sitting on her face and pulled away slightly. Rubbing Aarons wrists with her thumbs.

"I love you Aaron shore," Emily said, letting a smile finally come to her face.

" I love you too Emily rodes."
