In Shamar, the Chaotix have finished their business with their client and have believe or not actually gotten paid this time. The three were walking down the street with their bags packed ready to leave "Haha, boys when we get back to the agency, we're getting fancy takeout" "Can we at least use some of it to pay the bills, I miss having light". Before Vector could respond he noticed that the street was full of people unlike last time and so he took off his bag and opened it once again to become a stand "We've got few hours before the flight". "Vector, come on, you're not going to sell anyth-" Espio said as the same man from before appeared with his son "Hello, I was wondering if you could tell my son another story like you told me the other day. I really enjoyed it and I'd be happy to pay". Espio was confused "Wait, how can you have enjoyed the story if you left befo-" "Well, I'd be happy to, um… Charmy find me something" Vector interrupted before whispering to Charmy. "On it" Charmy started looking through their stuff and found two things, a broken looking glass orb from there hotel room and a sceptre that they got from some place called Soleanna. He handed Vector both of them "Ah, these objects were part of two more adventures for our hedgehog friend, let's start with this" Vector held the glass orb "It began on a night where a group of thieves were getting away with their latest prize". Vector began to sing.

(A group of thieves on extreme gear were traveling through the desert)

(The thieves entered a cave)

(In the cave was an old temple that the thieves stopped in)

Two of the thieves began to pile up all of the valuables they have collected "This night has been very rewarding" "Yes, we have never stolen so much". Unbeknownst to them, their pockets were being picked of valuables by a familiar two tailed fox and blue hedgehog. "We have gathered much loot this night, no thanks to our leader" the two thieves looked over to an anthropomorphic robot chicken who was opening one of the chests. "Is this a haul or what, my band of desert skunks?" he took a jewelled flower from the chest apparently oblivious to the fact that everyone was looking at him with murderous intent. "How is it you get the jewelled flower, Scratch?" "Well, this is my bonus for being your beloved leader, as well as that and that are my beloved leader bonus" he said pointing to all of the valuables in the cave. "And what is our reward?" one of the thieves asked before scratch threw them a small bag "Here you go, nice work boys, a very successful raid".

Before they could consider killing him, they noticed a glowing pair of red eyes were coming from the shadows "Ghosts!" Scratch yelled while the others got their weapons ready "Yeah, I don't think so". Sonic the hedgehog suddenly leaped in front of the thieves? "Who are you" Scratch asked, "Names Sonic and this is my friend Omega" Omega then came out of the shadow with his gatling gun arms pointed at the thieves "Please give me an excuse to fire". While they were distracted Tails was placing all the valuables in a bag "I got it, Sonic!" he said smugly the thieves turned to face Tails "Nice job. buddy" Sonic said before Omega transformed into a robot elephant picking up Sonic and Tails, he then stormed through the cave. "A robot elephant? He's GOT A ROBOT ELEPHANT!" Scratch yelled in frustration before chasing after them and grabbing onto the elephants' tail. Tails noticed the jewelled flower on him and took it "Hey, that's mine" Scratch tried to grab it back but then realised he wasn't holding onto the tail anymore and he fell to the ground, Tails giving him a wave. "Next stop, Shamar" Sonic said as they exited the cave, Omega turning into his hovercraft form and the three of them flew above the desert.

Somewhere else in the desert something was crawling out of the sand, revealing itself to be Jet the Hawk "Oh, god, finally. This is terrific" he got out of the sand revealing that his bottom half is still stuck in the ruby. "I've got sand in place I didn't even know I had" but then another voice came from the ruby "Spare me your whining, Jet. Are we out yet?". Jet responded mockingly "Are we out yet? Are we out yet? Yes, we're out! No thanks to you" Jet struggles to get fully out the ruby "If it wasn't for me, we'd still be stuck in that cave". The ruby began to shake before shooting Jet out of the ruby along with his extreme gear "You will now release me, so we may have our revenge". Jet began to shake the sand off "Yeah, yeah when I'm good and ready" the ruby glowed red "Do as I say, you worthless hawk". Jet was annoyed by that and walked up to the ruby "You know what, you're nothing without me. Who come up with all the good ideas? Me! Who does all the work? Me" the ruby started jumping "If it weren't for me, you would still be in a cage in Eggman land swearing you didn't crash your extreme gear into the statue!" Jet was angry at that last part.

Jet- That's it!
I've had it!
I hate to be dramatic,
But it's time for me to fly the coop

(The ruby shoots a blast at Jet that he dodges)

Terrific! Fine!
I'm drawin' the line
Before I wind up in some king of soup!

(Jet pick up the ruby and gets on his extreme gear)

I was a fool to let you run the show

(He hovers above a well)

I'm cuttin' ya loose, pal!
Look out below!

(He drops the Ruby)

Arrividerci!
C'est la vie!
Hope all goes well!
I'm lookin' out for me!

(Jet flies off on his extreme gear)

Jet was flying above Shamar "Ah, a golden goose ready for plucking and I'm holding the tweezers. I'll be running this town within a week". He then grabs a random human by the shirt "What's your problem? You don't think I can do it?".

Okay! I'm little,
Been playin' second fiddle
And I don't get no respect

(The man tries to punch him but he runs off)

I turn the other cheek,
But this busted beak
Is the only thanks that I get!

I never found a friend that I can trust

(He tries to steal food from a stand)

They promise caviar,
And leave me eatin' dust!

(The owner notices and chases him)

That's some reward for loyalty

(Jet tries on jewellery from a stand but everyone starts chasing him)

I'll cover my own tail
I can take care of myself!

You know, it just doesn't pay

(Jet escapes and imagines a bunch of other animals are dancing with him)

The boot!

Jet gets punched and all his jewellery is taken back "Steal from us again and your body will be dinner for the jackals" "Oh, I've had enough experience with jackals". Sonic began flying over the same part of Shamar and along with Tails started dropping the valuables to the poor people of city who yell their thanks. Tails sneaks a diamond for himself and Sonic takes out the jewelled flower "I think I'll keep this to give to Amy". Omega flies them to the balcony of the palace where Blaze and Silver are waiting however Sonic notices Silver doesn't look to good. "Silver, are you okay?" Tails asked him "No, I'm sick. I'm a million-year-old cosmic being and I'm sick" he replied with a nasally voice. Blaze looked amused "He has a minor cold" Silver looked shocked at this "Minor? This is minor to you? How do you all have the will to live?". Omega then moved forward "If you would like I could put you out of your misery. I believe it is considered humane" "Not right now, but that might be a good idea to keep in the back pocket".

Sonic laughed "Well, I hope you feel better, anyway how do I look" before they could answer "I think you look fine" Amy said from the inside of the palace. "Where were you?" "Well, I had to pick up a few things" Sonic gave her the flower "Oh Sonic, it's beautiful" Tails mimicked this behind them which made Silver and Blaze laugh. Amy kissed Sonic before saying "It must have cost a fortune" "Oh no, it was a steal" Sonic looked back at Tails and Omega who were not impressed by his joke "Even I can tell that was bad". Amy put the flower in her room "Dad wants you to join us for dinner tonight. He has an important announcement" "Why does he want me there" "It's about you". Tails heard this and thought of the worst case scenario "Oh no, Fang secretly is still holding a grudge. He's convinced the king to execute us" Amy laughed "Tails, it's nothing like that, I can't tell you but it's definitely good". Sonic jokingly asked, "So no executions?" "Of course not. Dad see's you as a hero of Shamar" Sonic looked smug "Well, he's not wrong". Silver suddenly sneezed causing his powers to push everything in the room "Sorry" "It's fine Silver, also Sonic you may want to wear some actual clothes for dinner".
