Jet was lying on the wall of the palace complaining "It seems like only yesterday Infinite ruled Shamar and I was his right-hand bird. But then he had to go mess things up and now I'm stuck in the slums. I need a way back into the palace". Jet then saw Sonic in his prince outfit along with Tails leaving the palace "The hedgehog is still living in the palace? Maybe he's my ticket back in". Jet flew behind a wall that Sonic was walking towards and began to cover himself in dirt "Once I have him on my side with a little sympathy act, I'll be back in the palace again in no time". He then crawled out from the wall looking exhausted which Sonic noticed as Jet started talking in a weak voice "Sonic, oh, finally. I was able to escape from Infinite". Sonic and Tails looked mad "Jet! what are you doing here?" "Tails, is that you kid? Hold me" Tails tried grab him but he leaped back and got on his extreme gear "Whoa, I meant gently". Tails flew towards him "You're not fooling anyone" "No, wait, listen, Infinite hypnotised me with the ring just like the King". Sonic and Tails started chasing him "You traitor!".
They all turned a corner and ran into Scratch who looked curious at them "You look familiar" "It's Sonic!" all his men said in unison. "I knew that. Hurt him a lot along with his two friends" Sonic and Tails begin fighting the thieves while another tries to kill Jet with his sword "Look, I'm not with him". Tails takes one out with his tailspin and Jet then grabs him "Fox, you got to help me" Scratch tries to hit them both with a plank of wood but Tails gets out the way causing Jet to get hit. Tails tries to help Sonic but the two are overpowered and are about to be killed. Jet gets up and see's scratch walking over to Sonic "Mess with this bird, will ya?" he then pulled out his fan weapon and uses it to launch Scratch at the other thieves saving Sonic and Tails "And there's more where that came from". The thieves landed on a horse drawn carriage and Scratch notices Fang the Sniper and the other guards have shown up "It's you, that thief, Scratch the badnik". Before Fang can arrest them one of the thieves grabs the reins of the horse causing it to run off with them. Fang orders the guards to follow but then notices Sonic.
"Sonic, Tails, are you both alright" before they could answer Jet walked over with his extreme gear "Boy, those guys were jerks" Fang immediately jumped between Jet and Sonic "Jet the Hawk, you treacherous-". Sonic however stopped him "Hold on, Fang" he got between the two "Um, Jet, thanks. You saved our lives". Jet looked confused "I did? I mean, yeah, of course I did" Fang began to handcuff him "Hey, is that anyway to treat your rescuer? You owe me, hedgehog" "Fang, stop. He's right, I owe him". Fang did not look convinced "Sonic, after everything he's done, you don't owe him anything" "Look, the least I can do is have the King give him a fair hearing". Jet didn't look happy with this.
In the palace courtyard Omega was in his hovercraft form but with bars around it to keep Jet inside "No, please, not this. The King will kill me" "And the drawback is what exactly?" Omega replied. Sonic and Fang looked at the cage "See, I promise he won't escape" Fang looked worried "Alright, but if anyone asks, I never saw you". He then walked away to continue his duties. Sonic then noticed Amy was coming this way and Omega then tried to hide Jet behind metal panels "Hi Sonic, um… what is Omega doing?". "Tails suddenly jumped in "Oh, uh, he's… practicing with different transformations". Sonic tried to lead her away and gave a signal to Tails to watch Jet "Anyway, off to dinner with your dad" Amy was still suspicious "You're not hiding anything from me, are you?". Sonic hated lying to her, but he knew if he revealed Jet now his life would be at risk "Of course not, I-" before he could finish the ground began to shake. A world pool began to form in the pond that rose up and turned into a wave that had a familiar echidna surfing and familiar hedgehog who was sitting on chair looking very relaxed. They both jumped off the wave and appeared in front of Sonic and Amy "I'm red" "And I'm Black" they said one after the other "We're all powerful and we're back!" they then said in unison. They both got a hug, but Knuckles pushed them away "Ahh! Watch the sunburn. Oh, wait, I'm always red". Shadow then put his arms around both their shoulders "Did you guys miss us?" "You bet we did, but have you really seen the whole world already?". Knuckles then turned into four small animatronic people "It's a small world after all. It's a small world after all". Shadow then added "But Shamar has something nowhere else has, you guys" Shadow was trying to be sentimental, but Knuckles ruined it by dragging them all into the sky.
Knuckles- We parachuted down into the Taj Mahal
(Knuckles was a parachute carrying Amy and Sonic)
We roller-bladed all along the great Great Wall!
(Sonic and Amy fell on a carriage being pulled by Knuckle on the Great Wall)
Shadow- We even made the famous Leaning Tower fall,
(Shadow leans of the tower of Pisa casing it to tilt)
But who was with us through it all?
Nobody!
Knuckles-The Moscow Circus hired us to fly trapeze
(Knuckles was a circus monkey juggling while balancing on a wire)
Shadow- On Mount Olympus we won a race with Hercules
(Shadow runs through Greek ruins with Hercules)
It's easy when you're chased by killer bees
Knuckles- But who said "Gesundheit" when we sneezed?
AH CHOO!
So now we're home
(Knuckles is dressed in a navy uniform exiting a taxi)
Home again with you
You chase the clouds away
(Knuckles face is now the sun)
Shadow- Whenever we are blue
Sonic- There's nothing wrong with blue
Knuckles- And the pyramids we highly recommend
(Knuckles face is on a coffin that opens to reveal him as a mummy)

(Outside the pyramid Sonic and Amy's face are on statues)
Slept like a babe in Bombay on a bed of nails
(Knuckles is dancing along with two cobras in baskets)
Moroccans loved our daring dance of seven veils
(He's dressed as female dancer)
Why, single-handedly we even saved the whales
(He's dressed as a whaler who throws a whale into the ocean)
No one was there to hear our tales!
(The whale shoots Knuckles in a jet of water where he begins crying)
In Acapulco joined a Mariachi band
(Knuckles and Shadow where dressed as a mariachi band)
We rode the ragin' rapids down the Rio Grande
(Knuckles rides sky rapids on a boat)
Flew in an air balloon, but when we tried to land
(There all in an air balloon)
Shadow- Nobody laughed, or lent a hand
Without you, the Amazon is just a trickle
(Sonic and Amy land in the amazon with Shadow)
Knuckles- Without you, the Sahara's not so hot
(Knuckles is dressed as an eskimo)
Without you, Niagara Falls is just a leaky faucet
(Knuckles turns into a sink)
Shadow-And the QEII is just some yacht
(Shadow smashes a ship in a bottle against Knuckles who is in the form of a boat)
Shadow and Knuckles- Now that we're home,
Home again, it's clear,
(Knuckles boat flies them all to Amy's balcony and then transforms to normal)
All we ever wanted
Seems to be right here
We've travelled East and West
And now, I'm back again
(They drag Sonic and Amy into a group hug)

Knuckles- Nothin' in the whole wide world
(In space a giant Knuckles spins the planet)
"Guys, your back" Silver hearing the music came out to the balcony and the three brothers were happy to reunite. Knuckles pulled Silver into a hug "I've missed you. How's mortal life been?" "Oh, it's great" Silver replied trying to hide the constant pain his cold is inflicting but Shadow noticed. "You're sick, aren't you?" "What no…. maybe… a little…. help me" Shadow rolled his eyes and fired a beam at Silver that immediately made him look better "Oh, thank god, that was agony. I can go tell Blaze we can still have our date tonight". Amy then realized "Tonight? Oh no, we're late for dinner" Knuckles acted sad at this "Oh, you two probably have something important planned. You clearly don't want your two friends who you haven't see in a while to be there" Shadow was surprisingly going along with this, putting his arm around Knuckles "It's okay bro, they clearly don't want us". Amy rolled her eyes "Shadow, Knuckles we would be honoured for you to join us" Knuckles immediately changed mood and was now wearing a tux "Home cooking here we come". As they were all walking into the palace Shadow went up to Sonic "Hey, are Omega and Tails going to be there? We haven't said hi to them yet" "Oh well there actually doing something for me at the moment, you'll see them later".
