"Okay, so what actually happened in Hurley?" Nydia asks as soon as her, Aatami, and I are settled down on the floor of our dorm. It's been a couple days since we got back from Hurley and I haven't really talked much to either of them.

I take a deep breath. "Ellen said- she said she was turning into a djinn. She said that she had tried everything to stop the spread of the tattoos, and nothing worked, and when they got to her face, she would become a monter."

Nydia lets out a small gasp. "Oh my god. Tris…"

"I told Tris she wasn't turning into a monster, I told her- and she believed me! I can't- I can't let her turn. I can't. We have to find a way to save her."

Nyda and Aatami both nod furiously. "Of course. Of course we will. Tris will not turn into a djinn." Nydia assures me.

"Okay. Okay. Thanks, guys. I think I'm just gonna get some sleep now."

"That is my cue to leave." Aatami stands up. "Goodnight, Day, and goodnight, Night."

"We need to think of an annoying nickname for him." I murmur as I crawl into my bed.

"You have something of mine."

I open my eyes and jerk to a sitting position. I am in a dying forest. Fog swirls around the rotting trunks of oaks centuries old.

"I want it back."

I swing my head around, trying to find a body the voice could belong to, but all I see are falling leaves and trunks oozing infected sap.

"Give it back."

A tree falls to the ground with an earsplitting groan, and when the dust clears, there is a man standing in front of me.

He doesn't look like an ordinary man. He has a sleeve of tattoos covering one arm, and the other arm is gone. His eyes are ice blue, a blue that pierces me, that tells me it knows my secrets, and it hates me for them.

"Give. It. Back."

"I didn't steal anything! I promise!"

"But you have it. It's true, you didn't steal it. But it came to you. She came to you. And now I want her back."

"I have no idea what you're talking about! I promise!" I yell, scrambling backwards. Leaves are swirling around the man now, like he is the eye of a forest hurricane. Around us, the trees groan, leaning towards him.

"GIVE HER BACK!"

The trees fall.

"I'm okay. I'm okay." I whisper to myself, trying not to wake Nydia.

Who was that person? I know enough about the nature of my dreams to figure out that that was probably a real person trying to give me a message. But I have no idea who he could have been talking about. Nydia? She's really the only girl here that came to me, other than Tris I guess, but Tris was never the property of a creepy dude.

I'm not gonna be able to get back to sleep tonight, so I pop my headphones in, tie a headlamp to the planks on the bottom of Nydia's bed, and get out my notebook.

When I get into the cafeteria for breakfast, it seems like the teachers are celebrating something. Sam is holding a phone, and Jody, Claire and Alex are huddled around it, cheering.

The other students have noticed something is up, too, and some of them are slowly making their way towards the teachers' table. I start heading that way, too. I wanted to ask Sam about my dream anyway.

"You guys are excited." I say when I get there. I'm able to see what's on the screen now, and it looks like a real time feed of the bunker. The camera seems to be positioned on the ceiling of the kitchen, and in it are Dean and Castiel. Dean is making bacon, and Castiel is sitting at the table, drinking coffee. It looks like a pretty normal scene, until I realise what they're wearing.

Castiel has one of Dean's old band shirts on, and Dean… is wearing the trenchcoat.

"It finally happened!" Jody says. "Those two have been dancing around their feelings for years. I wonder who confessed first."

"My bet's on Dean." Alex says.

"Please." Sam argues. "He would never admit his feelings unless he knew the other person felt the same way. It had to be Cas."

"I haven't known Dean very long, but I agree with Sam." I say.

"That's because he's your favorite teacher." Jody says.

"Eh, it's a tie between him and Claire."

Claire gives a little bow. "Why thank you."

Sam turns to me. "This, while exciting, can't be the only reason you came up here."

My smile falls a little bit. "No, it's not. I kind of… had a dream. And I was wondering if one of you could help me figure out what it meant. I tell them about my dream, but I find that it's hard for me to describe the man to them, even if I can see him very clearly in my head.

"I don't think any of us have the kind of expertise to decipher dreams, but I know someone who does." Claire tells me.

"Who?"

"My girlfriend, Kaia." I notice the way her mouth turns up when she says the word girlfriend. It's obvious she's really happy to be dating Kaia. "She's a dreamwalker. If your dreams are trying to tell you something, she'll be able to figure it out."

"That's great. Thank you."

"No problem. I'm as interested in this as you are. Kaia lives with us, so she'll probably be able to come talk to you this afternoon."

"Awesome. I guess I'll see you for class, then. Bye!" I leave them and try to imagine what a girl dating Claire must look like. Probably leather jacket, multiple piercings, and spiky hair. It doesn't seem like Claire would date anything less than that.

A/N: Yay! I love Destiel and DreamHunter SO much! I also just love Kaia in general, so I'm really excited to write a chapter about her! I don't now when that chapter will be up though, because I'm going on vacation next week. I'll try to post again this week, but I'll be pretty busy packing and stuff, and my mom has imposed screen time limits, so I'll have to navigate around those. Please please please review, it would mean a lot to me. Also favorite and follow if you want! Bye guys!
