Ey~, hello again, readers!

I don't really have much to say right now, but I'm just going to ask this: How many 6 stars do you guys have? And are you a whale or a f2p? I myself am an f2p, but I have...7 6 stars in my roster. I'm not too sure if that's good or not, but hey, share your stories! Or, well, if you don't want to, that's completely fine.

And for those reading this just because this is a Fate Crossover, hello! I hope you've been enjoying this so far!

Well, enough from me. Have fun reading!

Profile

Most of Emiya's background is unknown. He is Operator Lappland's brother, thought far different compared to her. He is kind, polite, and rather quiet. He has immense destructive prowess when placed in combat, and specialises in search and destroy missions.

He currently works as a mercenary, however recruiting him might be an option.

Kalt'sit didn't quite know what to think about him. He was a complete unknown, and as much as she would've liked to employ him, she didn't know much about who he was to comfortably recruit him.

But as she watched him interact with the other operators at the canteen, she could only sigh, especially as she spotted the Doctor already beginning to approach him, most likely to try and recruit the man. Though she may loathe that part of the Doctor, she would not discredit how strangely charismatic he could be, and he'd managed to convert many operators to fight with him. Even Ms. Ch'en of Lungmen had allowed herself to work with him, though how and when, she knew not.

Nevertheless, the reason she was here in the first place was to observe just what kind of man Emiya truly was. Lappland had suggested she try and bring Emiya in as an operator. She had her doubts, but the longer she sat and watched, the more she was pleasantly surprised to see how well the man had adapted to the rowdiness.

Perhaps he'd developed such adaptability in his line of work?

In truth, she'd gained some knowledge from several databases she found, and all of them painted him as an enigma. Many times he'd been kindly regarded as a hero, saving both infected and non-infected from disaster, even going as far as shutting down hundreds of illegal Originium mines. Yet, there were just as many reports of him ruthlessly striking down important figures all throughout Terra with only minimal traces of him ever being there.

And though she had no evidence to back it up, she knew he'd been there when Reunion stormed through Chernobog. She had the suspicion that they'd managed to get the Doctor out mostly unharmed due to him delaying most of Reunion's troops.

What was perhaps most intriguing was the speed at which he operated. One day he could be at Lungmen, taking out intruders trying to break down Lungmen's inner defenses, and the next he could be at a remote village, taking out monsters that had been harming the village's supplies for the last month.

As corny as it sounded, he was a true hero, and she considered him so as well.

As she watched the Doctor begin to interact with the male lupo, Kalt'sit sighed, before she sat up and approached them. The other operators noticed her approach and backed away, and before long, the only one at the table were Emiya, Doctor, and her standing behind them.

"Excuse me," She said, and the Doctor immediately went silent, comically snapping back towards his seat and sitting upright. Emiya was much more normal, merely blinking before turning around to meet her. "You are Emiya, right?"

"Ah, yeah. I'm sorry if we were a bit too loud, miss…"

"Kalt'sit. Please call me Dr. Kalt'sit." He nodded. "I will. So, is there something wrong, Dr. Kalt'sit?"

"...I'm going to be upfront. I want to recruit you as an operator." She said and proceeded to ignore the shocked gasp coming from a certain masked individual. Again, Emiya blinked. "...Sorry?" He asked, and she merely turned to Lappland, who'd been quietly sitting by another table. "Your sister had recommended you during her examination, and after some reading, I find you suitable as well."

"Ah…" He begins, mulling over the idea before nodding. "Well, I'm a mercenary, and I don't plan to be tied down to any particular company, but I suppose I can lend a hand when you need it. Is that fine for you?"

That was...fast. Kalt'sit barely managed to keep her mouth from opening in shock. She knew he was quite cordial, but this? Internally, she sighed, now knowing that all her previous examinations of the man and the many reasons she had built to try and convince him to join had been rendered mostly useless.

Still, it was a far better outcome than she could've ever imagined.

"That is acceptable." She said, and smiled. "Please come to the south wing for your physical examination." And with that, she left, smiling wryly as she heard the Doctor erupt into cheers over the new recruit, which was soon followed by the rest of the cast.

Lappland watched silently as her brother stepped into the examination room, an uncomfortable smile present as he did his best to ignore the many intrigued operators watching him from the side. Forcing him into uncomfortable and embarrassing situations had been her hobby for years, and time had done nothing to change that.

Hmm...perhaps 'hobby' didn't do it justice.

It was her...mission, she supposed, to bring him out towards new situations. For as kind and caring as he is, she knew he tended to detach himself from the world. She didn't know when it started, but she'd begin to see his silver eyes dulling as he returned from every mission, his smile becoming more and more fake with every passing day.

Ironically, it'd been Cu that suggested what to do, to be the fire to both harm and forge him, and as tiring as it'd been, she would definitely say it'd been worth every effort.

"Simulation, start." Kalt'sit's voice echoed, and a number of dummy robots sprang out and ran towards the 'exit' Emiya had been told to protect. He looked to them, and with energy thrumming through his fingers, his favored black and white swords appeared in his hands. A collective sound of awe came from the audience, but he no longer heard them.

The enemy was visible.

He began to dance, swerving his way through the dummy robots and taking them down with immense precision, almost as if he was cutting right through butter. Everyone grew quiet, but she could feel some people turning their eyes towards her, a shimmer of understanding in their eyes. Lappland only smiled.

Talented she may be, but compared to her brother, she was a novice at best. Her style was fast and ruthless, drawing people in before exploiting any openings, but Emiya had it down to an art form, almost acting before the robots even began their attacks.

And so, with barely half a minute over, the near fifty dummy robots had been taken out. It was one of the faster sessions recorded, but that didn't say much.

Still, that was an apt display, definitely enough for him to be recruited either as a Vanguard or a Guard.

"Next simulation, start. Focus on protecting the primary target." Kalt'sit said, and the field changed. A red dummy robot popped up behind him, together with an army of drones, each carrying guns filled with non-lethal rubber bullets. The guns on the drones began to spin, and they soon fired down.

Then, much to their surprise, he began deflecting the bullets, using the blades of his swords to push the incoming bullets out of the way. Those that made contact with him were shrugged off with a loud snap, as if they'd hit a tough wall of metal instead of flesh.

Lappland blinked, slightly surprised to see him make such a display. Was he trying to hide what he could do, or was he trying to give a different impression to Rhodes Island? She knew he could just as easily bring up Rho Aias and defend the priority target without much trouble.

No, wait-!

Like magic, the rubber bullets bounced off the walls and began hitting the drones, causing them to break down and fall. The whole room fell silent as they watched Emiya sigh, letting the swords in his hands fade into blue light. Lappland smirked, knowing just what would follow next and prepared her ears.

"UUOOOHH! He's AWESOME!" Doctor shouted happily and the other more cheery operators followed. Emiya blinked, clearly surprised at seeing the esteemed Doctor of Rhodes Island act like so. Lappland walked up to him and gave him a playful punch on the shoulder, smirking all the way. "Trying to flex, brother?"

He huffed, annoyed, but he soon smiled. "...Maybe. After all, I can't let myself look bad in front of my little sister, can I?"

It was her turn to huff, smiling. "Sure~"
