"Toph!"

Aang woke up in a cold sweat. He was heavy breathing. He looked around and at first was confused by his surroundings, but then he remembered where he was. It was just a dream, everyone was safe. Toph was safe. He had to be sure though. He stood up and walked silently towards her earth tent, careful not to wake anyone. It was relatively far from the others. He knocked gently. No response. Panicking he bent the front wall away. A rock column hit him and he went flying backwards "Ouch". "That was for waking me up twinkletoes!" she exited the tent. "So?" she said towering over him "What do you want?". Aang swiftly got up and hugged his earthbending teacher "wewereinthedesertandthenthere weresandbenderstheytookyouand-". Toph freed herself "Calm down, I'm not understanding anything". Aang took a deep breath and explained "I had this dream. We were in the desert for some reason. The sandbenders attacked. Your vision was fuzzy and they captured you. I couldn't save you. It was all my fault and- "

"Stop right there, my sandbending is much better now, they would stand no chance"

"I know, it's just that you were gone. I wasn't able to help you and I could never say that I am sorry. I'm sorry Toph".

Toph was confused "Why would you be sorry for a dream?". Aang shook his head "No, I mean for that time at the library"

"Oh"

"I'm sorry for saying those things. I'm sorry for blaming you after you saved us. I'm sorry for being such a jerk. I'm sorry"

"How many times are you going to say that you are sorry?"

"Sorry... oh I said it again, s- Ok I'll stop talking"

Aang looked down. After several seconds he got punched in the arm. He looked up to see Toph smiling. She didn't know she needed to hear it.

"Apology accepted"
