Episode 01: Welcome to Wawanakwa (Part 01)

Author's Note - Hello there, reader! To those who do not know me, my name is Cooking Zaddy, but you can call me Project. It's my internet name, per say. For those who do know me... well, hey again! A while back, I attempted to do a big project (no pun intended), but because my personal life got in the way, I lost motivation and time to continue working on it.

But I'm back! I am here to not only prove to other people that I can write a good story, but redeem myself after failing the last time. In this story, there'll be forty contestants. Yes, I know it's a lot, but I've been training to better manage my time, so I'll be able to write every single day. So you might be wondering, who's competing exactly? Well, here's the answer. 22 canon contestants (yes, the original cast from TDI) and 18 original contestants, or forumers as I like to call them.

I hope you'll be able to join me on this adventure because trust me, it'll be a rollercoaster ride! Now without further ado, let's begin the first chapter!

Day 01

It was a warm and beautiful summer day. The sun was shining down and a cool breeze came drifting over the Canadian land. Various clouds of different shapes and sizes floated around peacefully in the clear blue sky. Down below on the ground, a dock separated the land and water; the small waves that were crashing onto the shore in an endless manner gave off a peaceful feeling. One could feel calm and at ease from watching the waves. Further away from the dock were a bunch of tall and thick trees that would lead into a forest, should anyone attempt to venture into that mysterious area. But that mystery was about to be revealed as a man suddenly appeared onto a camera screen from below.

"Yo!" the man greeted enthusiastically. "We're coming at you live from Wawanakwa Island, located somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario. I'm your host, Chris McLean! Dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television, right now!"

Make no mistake about it, the man was handsome. He had an attractive physical appearance, from the hair to the clothing. One look at him and they could tell he was qualified to host a television show. His smile could attract plenty of people alone as he gazed into the camera with a grin. This was Chris McLean, a celebrity in Canada.

Thanks to the power of editing, Chris was now on the dock as he began to explain the game, "Here's the deal: forty campers have signed up to spend several weeks at this old and rundown summer camp. They will compete in tough and grueling challenges, then have to face the judgement of their fellow campers."

"We were supposed to have twenty-two campers at first, but because our budget increased, we were able to accept more people," Chris rubbed his hands together in delight. "Which means, more episodes, more money, and more entertainment for you fans watching at home."

He kept the same grin towards the camera as he continued to explain the game many people tuning in were curious about, "After each challenge, one team will either win a reward or watch one of their team members walk down the Dock of Shame, take a ride on the Boat of Losers, and leave the competition for good. At a certain point in the game, the teams will disband and it'll be every camper for themselves, but that's a story for another time."

The power of editing sent Chris to a campfire area, completed with ten tree stumps, torches stuck around the area, and a marshmallow skewer lying on top of a metal barrel as he approached it, "Their fate will be decided here, at the dramatic Campfire Ceremony. Every elimination, all but one camper will receive a marshmallow."

"In the end, only one will remain in the game," Chris pulled out a magazine with one hand and a small stack of dollar bills with the other hand. "And they'll be rewarded with fame and a large fortune of one million dollars. But let's face it, they'll probably blow all of that in about a month or so."

After getting rid of the magazine, stuffing the money into his pocket, and eating the marshmallow on the skewer, he continued, "To survive, they'll have to battle all sorts of different elements, including black flies, grizzly bears, disgusting camp food, and each other."

As Chris said this, far behind him was a grizzly bear holding a bowl of disgusting camp food that's infested with black flies. The bear began swiping at the flies with its claws as the scene changed to a bird eating an earthworm while chilling in its nest. But what was most notable was the camera that laid inside of the bird's home for some reason.

"Since this is a reality show, every moment will be caught on one of hundreds of cameras situated all over camp," Chris spoke as bird poop landed on top of the camera. "Yeah… I don't know who decided to place a camera in there."

For the third time, the power of editing sent Chris to a different location, back at the dock with a bigger grin than before, "Who will crumble under the pressure? Who will survive the elements of Wawanakwa? And who will you be rooting for? Find out, right here, right now on… Total! Drama! Island!"

The camera zoomed out further and further upon Chris saying each of the last three words: Total Drama Island. When he finished, the whole island can be seen in plenty of its glory. From there, the scene changed to the beginning of the intro. But such an opening with forty people, excluding a few non-contestants, would be spoilers and not for this author's taste. Instead, the intro with the song, "I Wanna be Famous", will be left to the imagination.

(intro cue)

As the sun continued to shine, Chris McLean stood tall as he waited on the dock. He awaited the small water waves to continue shifting before turning to the camera with a proud smile. If one can guess, he gave it a moment so the intro would finish. The same intro that would be repeated for all of the future episodes for this season.

"Welcome back, viewers!" Chris exclaimed, looking at his watch and then back at the camera. "It's time to meet the campers! You'll be introduced to them two at a time, since we decided to use twenty boats and sold off the last two. Hey, those boats aren't cheap, y'know. Also, if any of them seem ticked off, we told them they'd be staying at a five-star resort for the competition."

Chris winked at the camera. Perhaps his looks didn't match his personality. Or maybe he had a justifiable reason for lying to the arriving contestants. But enough about that.

As if on cue, the first boat arrived with… one person? That one person happened to be a female, sporting pink shorts and a striped crop top. She was tanned and skinny with her hair styled into two pigtails. Such a person would normally be cheerful and energetic, but she appeared to be the opposite. A sad look was apparent on her face as she got off the boat.

"Katie! What's… up?" Chris greeted her, only to be caught off-guard with her gloomy expression. "Uh… what's the matter with you?"

Looking at Chris with a saddened expression, like a puppy missing its owner, she could only ask one important question, "Where's Sadie? It doesn't feel right without her. We always do everything together, ever since we became best friends for life."

Chris expected something much worse, but for her to be sad because she got separated from her best friend only made him roll his eyes, "You do realize Sadie is on another boat, right? If you recall, both of you got accepted onto this show."

"Then why did that mean guy separate us?" Katie asked, looking very worried. "What if something bad happened to her?"

Chris sighed, trying his best to keep his cool, "Look, if there's one thing I can't argue against, it's the randomizer. It decided to have you on this boat and Sadie on another boat. Also, this one seems to be a contestant short."

As if it was a coincidence, Chris got his answer on why the boat only had one person. Both him and Katie stared up as a large scream echoed. Before they knew it, a male wearing a red tracksuit and headband was flying in the air. He flew across the dock before landing into the water with a painful splash. Katie looked on in concern while Chris grinned in delight.

"Wicked wipeout, Tyler!" Chris shouted as a thumbs-up came to surface, somehow being able to hear him.

As Tyler climbed back onto the dock, still dripping wet, Katie went over to him to see if he was alright. Soon after, the second boat had arrived with two people this time. Both of which were rather attractive ladies with one being a curvaceous African-Canadian and the other being a slim blonde.

"What's up, y'all! Leshawna's in the house!" the rather large lady named Leshawna greeted with a smile as she hopped off the boat. "Feel free to quit now and save yourselves the trouble, 'cause I came to win."

She gave Chris a high-five as she passed by him before approaching Katie and Tyler, "What's up, my brothas and sistas! Give me some sugar!"

But what she didn't expect to see was a dripping wet guy and a rather sad girl looking worried, causing her to raise an eyebrow, "What's going on with y'all?"

"Just got done with some extreme water skiing," Tyler stretched his arms. "Aw, man! I gotta do that again sometime!"

"I miss Sadie…" Katie simply answered, a sigh escaping from her mouth. "It doesn't feel the same when it's just me checking up on someone."

"I feel ya, sugar," Leshawna attempted to comfort her, poor Tyler unintentionally getting ignored. "It's gonna feel weird being away from our loved ones, but we'll see them again soon."

Meanwhile, back on the other side of the dock, Chris smiled at Leshawna's introduction, "Looks like Leshawna has made herself known."

Turning his head to face the other arrival, he kept the same smile as she approached him, "Lindsay! Welcome to Wawanakwa Island!"

"Hi!" Lindsay greeted with a bubbly voice and an innocent smile. "Oh wow! You seem very familiar! Have I met you somewhere? Like maybe at the mall or salon?"

"You've probably seen me on TV," Chris answered while correcting her. "Not at a mall or a salon."

"No, I don't think so," Lindsay shook her head before gasping. "You must be Kyle! Oh yeah! I remember now! We saw each other at Macy's!"

"Uh… no, it's Chris," the host corrected her again, not wanting to deal with her any longer. "...Just go stand with the others over there."

"Okay! I'll talk to you later, Chip!" Lindsay waved at him before going to the other contestants.

As soon as she was out of earsight, Chris sighed in relief and muttered, "Yeesh! I was about to lose some brain cells if that went on for any longer."

The third boat arrived with the first original contestant and another canon contestant, both of which were male. While the first looked to be observing his competition, being Asian and having a physical appearance that would be suitable for school – wearing uniform and with combed hair, the other managed to get some sort of trance-like music playing. It was the music that would play whenever someone hot appeared. With luscious black hair and a hot smile, even his passenger looked impressed.

"Hoo baby!" Leshawna sunk down her shoulders to stare at the beautiful model. Her face was blushing through her dark skin, making a vagrant dark pink color. "That is one fine lookin' man."

"Wow… he's really cute!" Lindsay smiled rather brightly, her face filling with a reddening blush as well.

"So handsome…" Katie smiled dreamily at the very handsome male.

"Whoa… oh!" Tyler widened his eyes. However, instead of smiling dreamily like the girls, he backed away and held up his hands up with a slight frown. "Uh… I like girls."

"This is Justin," Chris grinned, presenting Justin as if he was his own private trophy. The host turned to the model with that continuous grin. "Now, just for the record dude, we only picked you because of your looks."

"I'm cool with it," Justin smiled kindly at Chris. "Glad to be here, Chris."

Chris nodded at the model before turning to the second male, the Asian male with the more school-accurate appearance, "And that means you must be Tom."

"That is correct," Tom gave a firm bow out of respect for the host. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. McLean."

"It's Chris," Chris winced at the boy's politeness. "Mr. McLean makes me feel old."

"My apologies for that," Tom stood up straight, smiling apologetically. "I assumed you would have been okay with being addressed by your honorific. If you want to be referred by your first name, then I shall do so."

"Okay…" Chris gave Tom a polite smile as the student walked past the host to face the other campers. And while Tom did just that, Chris leaned closer to the camera whispering, "That was a bit… weird."

"Good morning, my fellow competitors," Tom smiled politely, facing his competition. "I would like to wish you all the best of luck in this competition."

"Same goes for you, sugar honey," Leshawn crossed her arms, smiling approvingly at the polite gestures the boy was exerting.

"Hm?" Tom blinked, confused. "Sugar honey?"

"Oh," Leshawna chuckled. "It's just a nickname I tend to give kids like yourself."

"I see," Tom rubbed his chin in thought. Sugar honey was definitely something he's never heard before from where he was at. He shrugged. "Perhaps I am still a little bit confused because I have never heard anyone use that in a social or school setting."

"Trust me, sugar, you'll get used to it," Leshawna patted Tom on the shoulder.

Right as the conversation between Tom and Leshawna ended, the fourth boat arrived with two more original contestants, a male and female. Both of them had smiles on their faces, presumably excited to begin their adventures at Wawanakwa Island. The male appeared to be of Puerto Rican descent and wearing clothing that best resembled the culture. For the female, she seemed to be rather cute like one of those innocent sweethearts from the shows and movies, sporting a casual attire of a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.

"Jose! Lurene!" Chris greeted with welcome arms and his trademark grin. "Glad you two can make it!"

"Hola, Sr. McLean!" Jose smiled at Chris with his thick Spanish accent, making it clear from the get-go that English was not his primary language. "¿Cómo está hoy, señor?"

"Uh… what?" Chris blinked, confused by the words. "Um, I can only speak English, dude."

"Ah, I am sorry!" Jose looked at Chris apologetically, throwing his hands in the air as if he was shocked. "My English is not good."

"No worries, dude," Chris patted Jose on the shoulder. "Just go over there to where the others are."

"¿Con los otros concursantes?" Jose perked his head in slight confusion.

"Again-" Chris began to speak before the girl known as Lurene interrupted the host from trying to explain again. She had placed her hand on his chest to keep him at bay.

"It's okay, Chris, I can take care of this," Lurene smiled sweetly at the host before turning to Jose, getting him to focus entirely on her. She pointed her fingers accordingly: "Those are the other contestants. Chris is telling us to go over there."

"Ah! Gracias, amiga!" Jose clapped his hands with a bright happy smile.

"How did you get him to understand you?" Chris stared at Lurene blankly, unsure on what he did wrong with his interaction with the foreigner.

"It's about kindness and good communication," Lurene smiled sweetly at Chris. "Even if I'm not an expert in Spanish, I can still be friends with him. I think he's a good person who has a bright future ahead of him."

"I guess," Chris shrugged, not seeming to care enough about Lurene's explanation. "Anywho, how do you feel about this competition?"

"I'm pretty excited," Lurene smiled enthusiastically. "This is a fun and awesome way for me to show off my skills and make new friends. Maybe if I'm lucky enough, I'll find someone to have a wonderful summer romance!"

"Sounds interesting," Chris nodded. Though, the host had to admit, this girl seemed a little boring in his eyes so he decided to move things along. He gestured to her. "So uh, yeah, mind if you head over there with the others?"

"Sure!" Lurene smiled innocently. Before she did so, however, she looked back at Chris with curiosity on her face. "Oh! Do you think you could call me Lulu by any chance?"

"Yeah, yeah. Just move along now." Chris pushed her along, but not in a physical manner.

"Thanks!" Lurene smiled happily, waving at the host. "It was nice talking to you, Chris!"

While Lurene began conversing with the other campers, Chris made his best attempt to focus on the next boat that was arriving.

The fifth boat brought in another male and female, though they didn't fit well together as a pair. One look at them and you could tell they wouldn't get along well. But assumptions aren't always correct.

"Beth! And Gold!" Chris grinned, introducing the next two contestants. Though, much to his surprise, only one female contestant came off of the boat to run up to the host and embrace the host with a friendly hug. Friendly and filled with excitement to be exact. It did make Chris feel a little uncomfortable.

The female contestant known as Beth can be best described as a nerd, a dork who wouldn't fit in well with the popular kids. This was evident by her braces, her glasses that only seemed to make her appear unattractive, and even her odd choice of clothing. But her excitement and optimism made up for her physical appearance.

"Oh my gosh! Chris McLean!" Beth exclaimed happily. "It's so incredible to meet you! I'm totally excited and… Wow! You're really taller up close."

Beth had perked her head to examine Chris's height. This only made Chris a little more uncomfortable than he already is. He was not used to this much attention.

"Um… thanks…" Chris blinked. He turned to the other contestant, who had just gotten off the boat with a large collection of suitcases.

This male contestant known as Gold looked nothing like a nerd or a dork. But it would be understandable if he was considered a social reject, given that people would be creeped out by his appearance. Wearing nothing but black, from the suit to the shirt to the pants to the mask, it's no surprise it could most likely be his favorite color. Even his slicked back hair was black. He was the definition and embodiment of creepy.

And all throughout everything, Chris's eyes fixated on the creepy mask that Gold had worn.

"And um… yeah. That's totally not creepy at all," the host commented, taking a step away from him and leaning more towards Beth's side.

"Yeah, I know right?" Beth looked at Chris, a little concerned. "He was super creepy on the boat and he kept asking for my bag... Chris. You didn't bring a pervert here did you?"

"Hey, I don't select the contestants myself," Chris shrugged. "The producers do. So… there is a chance we might get at least five perverts on this show."

"Say what now?" Leshawna glanced at Chris with a stern gaze.

Before Leshawna could tell off Chris however, Beth had pointed at the bags that Gold was carrying with a frown.

"H-Hey! That's my bag!" she called out.

"Where would you like me to place them?" Gold had walked over to Beth and spoke softly and sincerely.

"Get your hands off- huh?" Beth's moment of fierceness was cut short by her confusion at Gold's question.

"Where would you like me to place your bags?" the masked boy repeated.

"Oh… just by the other luggages please," Beth blinked, gesturing toward where the other luggages were at.

"As you wish," Gold tipped his head toward the shorter girl before moving over to the pile of suitcases and luggages. "It is the duty of the gentleman to help carry a ladies' belongings."

Once he set Beth's luggages down, he turned around and bowed, finishing off with a pose "...And that is the way of a gentleman!"

"Hmm… for a moment, I thought this fruitcake was about to get a whoopin from my own hands for being too snoopy," Leshawna crossed her arms. While she did look at Gold strangely, it seemed that she approved of Gold's act of generosity.

"Ah… I… I'm sorry if I came off the wrong way but please allow me to tell you that underneath my creepy and hated mask, I am in no shape or form a scum that would mishandle a ladies' attire," Gold placed one hand over his heart and one hand out like he was making a vow. "That is a promise. A gentleman's promise!"

"Awww… In that guess, I'm sorry I thought you were being creepy!" Beth smiled at Gold apologetically. "I totally misjudged you!"

"Don't worry," Gold nodded at Beth, his facial features hidden by that creepy mask. He then began to laugh. "It happens a lot in my case, so much so that it's kind of funny! Hahahaha!"

"I… don't see how it can be funny being misjudged like that..." Beth stared at the masked boy, a little curious behind what his story could be. And we all wonder about that too.

But the questions and answers about Gold's mask would have to wait until later as the sixth boat had just arrived at the dock. It dropped off two familiar people, a male and female. The male was of Indian descent with clothes that best fitted for a scholar. With an egg-shaped head and his eyes fixated on the book he was reading, he probably had no interest in socializing with other people. As for the female, she was blonde with an attire suited for the beach: a light blue jacket and shorts. She was rather cute as well.

"Noah and Bridgette!" Chris grinned at the next two contestants. "Welcome to the island!"

Bridgette was the first to walk forth with a firm smile at the host. The surfboard she carried was white but had a unique ocean wave design on it that didn't help but go noticed by the red tracksuit-wearing jock.

"Yo!" Tyler grinned at Bridgette. "Wicked surfboard!"

"Thanks!" Bridgette smiled appreciatively toward the jock, patting the surfboard as if it was her pet. "I thought we were going to be on a beach so I brought it just for this occasion."

"And by beach, you mean the local trash dump," Noah had popped forward. Compared to the relaxed and calm look of the surfer girl, Noah himself looked glum, uncaring, and downright unfazed by the place they were in. "Have you not seen the amount of litter and the seagull with the piece of plastic around its neck? Yeah, try surfing on that, why don't you."

"I…" Bridgette was about to retort. Unfortunately, the egghead himself had a point. She dropped the subject with a slight frown. "Well. I guess that's pretty disappointing news."

"Happens to the best of us," Noah shrugged before opening a book and walking to the side of the dock, attempting to avoid everyone else's company.

"Hmm… maybe we should help clean up the beach while we wait!" Beth smiled gleefully. "That way, we can surf later on!"

"And actually help the environment?" Chris blinked at Beth before laughing. "Beth! You're talking crazy!"

"I…" Beth looked at Chris, then looked down, frowning.

"Happens to the best of us," Noah noted. Most of his attention was heavily fixated on the book he was reading.

"I guess I might as well set my surfboard to the side for the ti-" Bridgette turned. But as soon as she turned, the surfboard she held accidentally whacked Chris on the back of the head.

"Ow!" Chris winced, rubbing his head in pain. "Darn it, that hurts!"

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! " Bridgette gasped, turning back to Chris with a shocked expression. Unfortunately for her, the surfboard ended up whacking Tyler on the back of his head.

"Ow!" Tyler groaned.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" Bridgette turned back once more. This time, the surfboard was unable to claim another victim. But that's only due to the fact that its intended target, or targets, had dodged the attack.

"Okay… someone has to do something with that surfboard before it becomes a deranged serial killer," Noah commented, his eyes still fixated on his book. He was fortunate enough to be away from the drama that was happening between the surfboard and everyone else.

"I'm sorry!" Bridgette frantically apologized. "I promise it won't happen again! I swear!"

"It's all cool… urgh… all cool," Tyler groaned, rubbing his poor head.

After the surfboard incident calmed down, the seventh boat arrived, as if it was another pure coincidence. Bringing in two males, both of which appeared to be muscular and potentially dominant in the brawn compartment. The first male was Asian, wearing an attire that resembled one of what a chef would wear. It was white for the shirt and pants, though he was missing the traditional chef's hat. As for the other and taller male, he looked to be African-Canadian who had a white cap over his head and wore a green shirt with the letter "D" printed in the middle. Although he wasn't an actual giant, his height and figure made him seem like one.

"Our next campers are Preston and DJ!" Chris grinned, welcoming the two brawny males. "Welcome to the island!"

"Chris McLean!" DJ smiled, placing down his luggage in order to give the host a high-five. "How's it going, man?"

"Awesome, man," Chris grinned before tapping his chin. "I'm surprised you didn't bring a pet with you."

"Nah, Mama said I can't bring any of my pets. She wouldn't want them to risk getting hurt," DJ shook his head before he glanced back at the camp. "Huh. Hey, you sure you got the right place here? It looks a lot different than on the application form."

"This is it!" Chris grinned. "Wawanakwa Island in all of its glory!"

"Humph. If you say so, man," DJ walked toward the end of the dock, a little disappointed.

"Preston!" After watching DJ head off, Chris had turned to the other male. Though, the fact that he looked a little tired made Chris chuckle to himself. "Dude, you look like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed! What's going on, man?"

"Just stayed up late and cooked food for my family. Nothing concerning." Preston shrugged, shoving his hands into his pockets. He glanced around. "So this isn't a five-star resort? I don't care if it isn't."

"You… don't have a problem with that?" Chris blinked at him.

"Do you want me to have a problem with that?" Preston gave a much more menacing stare.

"No thanks," Chris chuckled sheepishly. "It was just a rhetorical question."

Preston scoffed as he made his way towards the others, no longer having any point of conversing with the host. Shortly after, the eighth boat had dropped off two female contestants. One had a bright smile on her face while the other had her arms crossed with a rather cold look on her face, as if she wasn't here to mess around. Even their clothes were very contrasting. The smiling female was wearing a pink dress that reached barely above her knees and brown ankle boots. As for the female with the cold expression, her clothes resembled one of a teacher: a white blouse, black skirt, and black boots.

"Hi there fellow campers!" the female with the curly brown hair greeted with a wave and a bubbly smile. "Hi, Chris!"

"Anna and Amanda!" Chris grinned before laughing to himself. "Hey, that rhymes! Rhymes are always fun!"

In an instant, Anna then popped around Chris, equipping herself with a pencil and a notepad. She tapped her pencil to her chin, examining the host several times and making strange remarks as Chris glanced at her, confusedly.

"Hmm… let's see… Measurements are at a common 5'9," Anna listed down. "Weight… I estimate to be at… 130 pounds? Hmm… I see, I see…"

"Um… what are you doing?" Chris asked the girl.

"Oh, taking your measurements!" Anna snapped her fingers with a happy smile. "I'm trying to see if a lucky soul back at my hometown would be a perfect match for the great Chris McLean!"

"Huh… that's interesting," Chris looked at Anna. To be honest, he was a little unsure about her. "Well, any matches yet?"

"A couple of guys… some girl who lives beside me…" Anna trailed off before looking a bit more excited. "Hey. What's your d*ck size?"

"Well y'see I- Wait what?!" Chris widened his eyes at the question.

His answer never came as the conversation was interrupted by Amanda whacking Anna on the head with a ruler. She gave off a cold look toward the shorter girl and stood up tall and stiff, as if she was trying to look professional.

"That's for the obscenity behind that question," Amanda stated, tapping her ruler onto the palm of her hand.

"Ow! You didn't have to hit me so hard with that!" Anna pouted.

"Discipline is all we need to keep the world in order," Amanda explained. " And I will not be having anyone doing such obscene things this summer… Especially with the host."

"What's obscene?" Tyler whispered toward Noah, a little confused.

"Think about what you do with girls on beds," Noah glumly stared back at the jock.

"...Leave the room?" Tyler blinked. Too pure for this world.

"I… nevermind," Noah sighed. "You'll learn when you're older."

Immediately, both Noah and Tyler ended up getting smacked on the head with Amanda's ruler. She didn't seem too pleased by the two. Her reason?

"Don't talk when important information is being said," Amanda berated the two.

"Ow! Hey!" Tyler groaned, rubbing his head.

"Ouch! Seriously? What the heck was that all ab-" Noah frowned toward Amanda before getting hit on the head once again. "Oh come on! What did I do that time?"

"Backsass me," Amanda crossed her arms.

"Please guys," Beth rushed over to the three with a concerned look on her face. It seems like she had healed from her earlier encounter with Amanda. "Let's not fight. It's only the first day!"

"And for all of our sakes… please put that very painful school object away," Gold inched away from Amanda along with several others.

"Hmm. Majority rules... Democracy has said its piece," Amanda stated. She placed her ruler away while the other contestants took another step away from her. This woman was to watch out for.

Even Chris took a couple of steps away from her, not wanting to be on the receiving end of a ruler. A simple hit to the head with Bridgette's surfboard already hurt, so imagine how a ruler smacking the head would feel. But thankfully for him, the next boat had arrived at the dock to drop off two more people - scratch that, one female camper for now. The female looked very menacing and intimidating, as if she could give you pain with her look alone. With a unibrow and a duffle bag, she was definitely someone you shouldn't mess with.

"Eva!..." Chris smiled at her, doing his best not to be intimidated by the muscular girl, though it wasn't easy.

Eva looked around the island before back at Chris, seemingly with a more frightening look than before as she said, "...This better be a joke."

"I'm afraid not. This is it. This is Wawanakwa Island!" Chris gave his answer while daring to grin at someone who could break his bones easily.

"What?" Needless to say, Eva was angry. "You think this is funny? I'll show you what's funny when I turn your eyes inside out!"

"Gah! No!" Chris quickly shielded himself with his arms, fearing for his life after he dared to joke around with her. "Not my eyes! My beautiful, beautiful eyes!"

"Better his eyes than mine," Justin commented with widened eyes.

"Do I hear a cry of distress?! A damsel in distress?!" a voice was heard loud and clear, though the gender was currently unknown.

"Yeah, because Chris is so clearly a damsel," Noah remarked sarcastically, still focusing on his book as he turned to the next page.

Suddenly, a male figure appeared on the boat's railing in a superhero costume. He posed as if he was in some superhero movie, hands on his hips and looking up towards the sky with a proud grin. Almost everyone looked at him with confusion or curiosity.

"Allow me! The Great Captain Of!" the male shouted, not realizing he hadn't finished his superhero name.

"Of what?" Eva asked, already annoyed with him.

"I hadn't thought about that yet, actually," the male admitted with an awkward smile. "You see, the name was just a last night thing so I don't have an actual working name yet besides the Great Captain Of!"

"That sounds stupid," Eva said, not amused whatsoever.

"Not as stupid as your evil actions, evildoer!" the male pointed at her with a serious expression, though it looked more hilarious if anything. "Now face, the Great Captain Of's Great Powerful Move Of!"

"Of what?" Tom asked, curious.

"That's also in the works!" the male admitted again, definitely looking like a wannabe than an actual hero. "You see, I don't have an actual working name yet besides the Great Captain Of's Great Powerful Move Of."

There was an awkward silence. This was a waste of time for everyone, seeing that the male was nothing more than a wannabe superhero. Even Chris began to slowly unshield himself to see what was going on.

As for Eva, she had no comment for what just happened, "...Yeah. All of a sudden, I forgot why I was pissed." She moved away from Chris with her duffle bag. It seemed like the plan worked and she was now away from the host. Mission… accomplished?

Seeing the male approach him, Chris genuinely thanked him for saving his life, or his eyes in this case, "Oh thank the heavens you came here, Ryan! Like, I literally thought I was going to go blind and ugly for the rest of the show!"

"Er!... Who is this Ryan you speak of?" Ryan asked, attempting to play dumb for some reason. "It is I, The Great Captain Of…! Er… oh look, over there!"

...As if everyone was looking at the direction Ryan was pointing at, he threw a smoke bomb. Yes, an actual smoke bomb.

And as the smoke was clearing up, Ryan was seen attempting to take off his costume. Once he succeeded, he acted like nothing ever happened. He looked at Chris and the others with a confused expression.

"Whoa. What did I miss guys? And where did all of this smoke come from?" Ryan asked, pretending to be dumbfounded by everything he just did.

"Boy? Is he for real?" Leshawna asked, clearly not amused or impressed.

Ryan still looked confused, "For real what?"

"I… guess he is being 'for real'," Tom either accepted Ryan's answer or was confused about the term "for real" being used in this particular context. It's probably the latter.

"Huh? For real what?" Ryan seemed like he wasn't going to stop playing dumb anytime soon.

Chris pushed Ryan towards the others before changing the topic, "Ahem… moving on."

The tenth boat arrived to drop off two more campers, thus reaching the halfway point of twenty competitors. A male and a female for this one, both of them seemed to be conversing with each other. It wasn't a boring or awkward conversation; they were both enjoying each other's company. To describe the male, he was a lanky redhead with square glasses and a shirt with a hamburger design on it. Through and through, he looked like a nerd. As for the female, she was an African-Canadian who looked rather beautiful, wearing a pink sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and someone who gave off a warm, positive vibe.

"...And so that's why you can't argue that Space Trek is better than Space Wars," the male seemed to be the one talking at the moment. "I mean, it's all there right in the expansive Wiki with more than 4,592 pages filled with different alien specimens, plot points, and comic book issues."

"How very interesting," the female smiled at him while listening on. "It's nice to see someone with such a varied interest. I'm very proud of you."

"Why thank you, malady," the male gave a polite bow as he waited for her to get off the boat first before following suit.

"To interrupt whatever geeky conversation was happening there," Chris rolled his eyes before introducing them. "Harold and Angel! Welcome to the island!"

"Thank you, Chris," Angel shook his hand before continuing. "It's a pleasure and honor to be here. While this is a large reality TV show competition with a large sum of cash, I do hope we all exit this experience as one big happy family."

"Girl! With those words, you'd totally be one cool sistah!" Leshawna gave a fist-bump to Angel as she approached the other campers.

"Actually, if you see the statistics, about 85% of families in the world are neither functional nor happy, meaning the probability of everyone coming out here feeling like a happy family is virtually unlikely," Harold commented, killing the cheerful atmosphere.

Angel could only stare at Harold and feel a bit gloomy from hearing his random statistic, "O-Oh… I see."

Harold suddenly got hit on the head by, you guessed it, Amanda's ruler as he cried out in pain, "Ow! What the heck was that for?"

"Breaking dreams," Amanda said sternly and simply.

"It was just honest sources of information," Harold defended himself before saying to her the famous signature word many people know. "Gosh!"

"If it makes you feel better, Angel, I'd be down to be part of the family you're talking about," Beth attempted to cheer her up.

"Ooh, ooh! I want to be part of a family!" Lindsay joined the conversation by agreeing with Beth.

"Hmm… family." Preston said to himself with a small frown.

Hearing Beth and Lindsay wanting to join her family, Angel looked a bit happier now, "I see. You're much too kind. Let's keep this kindness going, okay?"

But the wholesome moment involving Angel was short lived, or interrupted to be more exact, as the eleventh boat came to drop off two more people, a male and female. The male was rather muscular and African-Canadian, his arms crossed and wearing clothes that would be very fitting for someone on the streets: a gray tank top, black pants with a chain attached to one of the pockets, sneakers, and a gold chain around his neck. On the other hand, the female was skinny, and appeared to be much more excited. She had frizzy orange-red hair and wore clothing that were different shades of green, coming off as a wild person.

It was proven to be correct as she walked off the boat with a large grin, not noticing that she wasn't going to land on the dock at all. Instead, something else hit the dock… her chin. As it bounced off the dock's edge and she fell into the water, most of the other campers and Chris winced from seeing that.

"Ooh! You hate to see that happen!" Chris remarked as the male hopped onto the dock and attempted to put his arm into the water.

"I'll help her out-" the male declared, but before he or anyone else knew it, the female hopped back onto the dock without a problem or a scratch.

Shaking off the water like a dog, she still maintained the same level of excitement before hitting her chin on the dock, "Woohoo! That felt so awesome! It reminds me of when I hit my chin on another dock! But I was only seven when that happened! I almost drowned, but it was so fun! Oh wow! We're at an island too?! This is gonna be super duper fun!"

Chris had no comment as he checked his clipboard that appeared out of nowhere…

"...Yup. You must be Izzy," when he looked back up, Izzy had already done a few cartwheels to the other campers, causing him to grumble. "And what a bundle of energy you are."

"Alright! Which one of you has been smuggling raccoons around here?!" Izzy asked while looking at everyone, some of them giving her strange looks.

Tom decided to speak up and answer her question, or play along with her, better yet, "Pardon?"

"Aha!" Izzy went up to Tom with narrowed eyes. "Just as I suspected! You must be working for the Purple Nurple! Or maybe you're working with the Blue Waffle! Ooh! Maybe you're working for both!"

"I have never heard of a Purple Nurple or a Blue Waffle in that context," Tom merely looked confused at what Izzy was saying. "Although from what my school has taught me, waffles turning blue is a sign of mold forming on it. Perhaps this is another term I do not understand well."

While Izzy continued to interrogate Tom for weird reasons, Chris watched on and sighed before turning to face the male with a sympathetic look, "Honestly, I feel bad for you having to deal with her. Anyways, welcome to the island, Jerome."

"Heh. Thanks, McLean," Jerome nodded at him with a small smile. "People like Izzy are common in my area, so it's not a big deal to me."

Chris raised an eyebrow at that statement, "Yikes, dude. What kind of people are living in your area?"

Upon hearing the question, Jerome's small smile faded and was replaced with a serious look, "...You don't wanna know. Just be glad you didn't grow up there."

"Why?" Chris asked out of curiosity, like genuine curiosity.

"Because pretty boys like you get served as the main course when it comes to the backhanded alleyway dealers," Jerome answered with a rather tough voice. "You're tasty prey to the predators."

Chris had no comment, other than a few words, "...Sorry I asked."

"Did someone say prey and predator?!" Izzy asked, somehow being able to hear Jerome's conversation as she turned her head with excitement. "I love that game! Who wants to play with me? I'll tell you this right now! I make a very mean predator!"

"Hmph. I don't doubt that one bit," Jerome replied, putting his hands into his pockets. "Caught you biting the fuck out of one of the crewmates."

"He looked like a fish!" Izzy countered with a giggle.

"Oh my. That poor crewmate," Angel said with a concerned look.

"Should we question it?" Preston asked, glancing around.

Noah, who was still reading the book and not giving a damn, responded, "Nope. Not at all."

The shenanigans of Izzy would be on hold for now because the twelfth boat had arrived to drop off a male and female, one of which was getting into different poses as if a camera was on him. Speaking of which, the male looked to have stylish hair and eloquent clothing, arguably as nice as the host himself. As for the female, she was wearing clothes that were more casual, not to mention her overall physical appearance was less eloquent than the male's. With glasses, slightly short hair, and a plain blue jacket, she looked like she just woke up and threw on the first thing she could find in her closet.

The female got off the boat first as Chris greeted her, "Samantha! Hey! How's it hanging?"

Samantha only stared at Chris for a short moment before walking past him, not saying one word. She had a neutral expression and Chris could only look back at her awkwardly.

"Silent type, huh?" Chris noted with a chuckle. "I'll probably get her to scream Uncle at least once or twice."

Suddenly, the male who was posing on the boat jumped into the shot, "Greetings, non-thespian!"

"Gah! Omar! Christ! What the hell was that?!" Chris was startled, to say the least as he attempted to regain his composure.

"My introduction! It deserves a spotlight of its own! Worthy of a ten-star performance, an Oscar, and an Emmy!" Omar started waving towards the camera as if he was addressing the viewers watching at home. "Thank you to my proud audience back home! Thank you so much! Your kindness shall not be ignored!"

"You sure are a campy fellow now, aren't you?" Chris looked annoyed at his behavior. "And… why are you waving towards the camera?"

"My fans just love it when I'm on screen!" Omar answered with a beaming smile. "A real… 'show stealer' as they call me back home! In fact, I will steal the show from everyone here! Because that is how I shall roll! To the stage I go!"

Chris watched Omar charge towards the other contestants, or run at them since he lacked the physical strength before commenting to himself, "...Jeez. These campers are pretty weird."

"I greet you all, my competitors!" Omar got closer to the other campers and took a look at every single one of them. "You may be skilled in intellect, physical strength, or even through looks, but I tell you, I am much more skilled at the ways of a high school actor! So to wit I say, don't you dare go easy on the likes of me!"

"Wasn't planning on it," Noah replied, eyes still focused on the same book.

"Who said anything about going easy on people?" Jerome asked with a raised eyebrow.

Izzy grinned sinisterly and cackled, "Be careful what you wish for."

The responses were the opposite of what Omar expected as he looked confused, "...Is no one even feeling the slightest threat from my words?"

"Are you an evildoer?" Ryan asked, not wearing his costume, though it seemed to be nowhere in sight despite wearing it earlier.

"...Er… depends on which role I'm playing in musicals?" Omar answered with a sheepish grin.

"Best watch your back then," Ryan gave him a serious look. "I hear there's someone here who hates evildoers. And he won't go easy on you."

"Uhhhhh." Omar looked seriously confused by everything so he decided to get into one of his signature poses. "Huzzah!"

"Can we get on with the show?" Preston asked, annoyed with the shenanigans as well. "There's way too many weird people and it's making me kind of impatient."

"In due time," Chris assured him before pointing out at the distance. "Because the next boat has arrived!"

Indeed, Chris was correct about that. The thirteenth boat arrived with two more male campers, one much more excited to be here than the other. To describe him, he was rather large and had the body size of a colossus. But his enthusiasm in his eyes made up for it as he was blonde and his white shirt had the Canadian Maple Leaf as its design. As for the second - oh wait, the first male had already hopped off the boat and onto the dock with a loud cheer.

"WOOHOO! Chris McLean! It's really you!" the colossus cheered, his excitement not faltering for one bit.

"Owen! Welcome to Wawanakwa Island!" Chris greeted, he couldn't help but smile at his high level of enthusiasm.

"Whoa, we're on an island?" Owen looked around before giving Chris a gigantic bear hug with enormous glee, possibly crushing his inner body parts. "This is gonna be so awesome! WOOHOO! It's so cool to meet you! I'm just psyched to be in this show! And with a bunch of awesome other people! And-"

"O...we...n," Chris was choking, his face beginning to change color and possibly about to be hugged to death on national television.

"Hey, you fat lard," Eva grumbled, crossing her arms and staring at Owen dead in the eye. "You're killing the host."

Owen gasped as he released the host from his crushing hug, having an apologetic look on his face, "Sorry, Chris! I'm just so excited to be on this-"

"Yes, yes, I know," Chris was gaining his breath back as he brushed off whatever dirty particles that got on his clothes. "Super psyched. Island. Other people. Whatever. Just head towards the end of the dock and stand with the others."

"Aye, aye, captain!" Owen saluted at Chris, despite pirates being known not to do that, before heading directly towards the end of the dock with the others.

Chris made a mental note to stay away from his hugs at all costs before turning to face the second male, who appeared to have been waiting patiently. He was well-dressed, his hair combed very neatly, and his clothing made him seem like one of those rich, eloquent people. But then again, almost anyone can look fancy wearing business attire.

"So you must be Noel. Nice to meet you, mate," Chris greeted him with an obviously terrible British accent that would offend the people in England.

"The pleasure's all mine, McLean," Noel shook his hand, ignoring the terrible accent from the host before looking around. "So where is the five-star resort that was promised? I don't see one in my sight."

"There is a five-star resort… but it's not here," Chris gave an innocent grin as if he was joking around with him or pretended to not know any better. "It's at this place called Playa Des Losers."

"Oh. That means you lied to me then," Noel's smile turned into a serious expression.

Chris shrugged, knowing that a few campers would react this way, "If that helps you sleep at night, then sure."

Noel frowned and shook his head at him like a disapproving parent, "I'm very disappointed in you. As a television host, you should know better. But at least now I know you can't be trusted."

With that being said, Noel walked off to join the others, not wanting to chat with anybody while Chris chuckled at his reaction, "He'll get over it."

The fourteenth boat arrived with two more male competitors, one of which was attempting to look cool, not for the cameras but for the other people on the dock. Though in all reality, he looked very awkward as this man had a gap between his front teeth, brown hair, and a skinny body. Definitely not cool-looking. As for the other male, he didn't look cool either, wearing a blue toque with a beige jacket and looked to be from a rural environment. He had facial hair growing out and looked rather confused about his surroundings.

The male attempting to look cool was the first one up, grinning and strutting towards the host like he was part of the cool kid's club.

"Cody! The Codester, the Codemeister!" Chris introduced him and his nicknames before giving the skinny guy a high-five.

"Dude, so psyched to be here," Cody began strutting towards the others, particularly the female campers. "Looks like the ladies have already arrived. Nice." He made an attempt to flirt with the closest one, which was Samantha. "So, uh… what's up?"

"Not interested," Samantha responded simply, without emotion as well.

But Cody still kept the grin on his face, not letting her rejection destroy his confidence or self-esteem as he moved on to the next girl: Amanda, "No sweat! Hey, how's it going?"

Amanda's response was to whack him on the head with her ruler, "Making gestures that puts someone in an uncomfortable situation will not be tolerated."

"Ow!" Cody rubbed his head and looked a little desperate. "Come on, I wouldn't do something like that."

He decided to give it one last try, third time's the charm or three strikes you're out. Who was he attempting to flirt with? Leshawna. But before he could even utter a word, Leshawna pressed a finger against his lips.

"Save it, short stuff," Leshawna said, indicating that she wasn't interested in him, causing Cody to finally give up and migrate into the on-growing crowd of contestants.

Chris could only laugh at his failure, "Looks like our ladies' man has struck out three times. But onto our other camper," he turned to face the other male contestant. "Ezekiel! What's up, man?"

Taking the question in a literal sense, Ezekiel looked up at the sky, "I think I see a bird. Oh wait, it's probably a cloud shaped like a bird, eh."

"Wow, such a man is lost in this cruel world!" Omar felt bad for him, making sure to act it out so it seems more dramatic.

Chris decided to pull him closer and speak to him, "Alright, dude, I need to give you some important advice. I know you grew up with a bunch of freaky and weird people, but don't say or do anything that might get you kicked off, alright?"

Ezekiel nodded at him, "Yes, sir!"

After Ezekiel was out of range, Chris shook his head before leaning into the camera and whispered, "I'm telling you right now, he's gonna be the first one booted."

"That's so cool! I wanna be friends with them!" Owen commented about the freaky and weird people before feeling a little bit of discomfort, as if he was hesitating to say something. "But… I don't think that's a nice way of describing them."

The next boat arrived with two more females, definitely not meant to be a good match for one another. But what was interesting was that one of the females was wearing the exact same clothes as Katie, had the same hairstyle as Katie, the only difference was that she appeared to be more chubby and light-skinned. As for the other female, she was wearing mainly dark clothes, who crossed her arms when she stared at the island herself, not looking cheerful. In a way, she looked like a goth, but only on a soft level.

When the boat arrived, Katie gasped in excitement and ran up to the chubby female, "Sadie! Oh my gosh! You're okay!"

The girl named Sadie, who apparently knows Katie, squealed in excitement and hugged her, "EEEEEH! I missed you so much! Being separated from you was one of the worst experiences of my life!"

"I know right?!" Katie said, finally relieved to be with her friend again. "It was so much worse than getting lost in the mall when we were little kids!"

"Oh my gosh, tell me about it! I thought you were-" Sadie was unable to finish because someone decided to interrupt her.

"Ahem." Chris interrupted them with his arms crossed and gave them a peeved look. "In case you couldn't tell, I have a show to host. You two save your talk for later."

"But you never introduced-" Sadie made an attempt to remind him.

"Zip it." Chris interrupted her again and shooed them away before turning towards the other female camper with a grin. "Gwen! How was the boat ride?"

"Oh it was fun," Gwen replied with sarcasm in her tone. "Just had to deal with someone crying about being separated from their best friend for half an hour. Yeah. Definitely a fun boat ride."

"Glad you had fun!" Chris said, either not catching on to her sarcasm or ignoring it.

Gwen looked around before giving him a skeptical look, "Wait a minute, we're staying here? This looks different from what the brochure said."

"Technically, you and the other campers are staying here." Chris clarified for her before pointing at something. "My crib is an airstream with air conditioning, far away from the camp."

Gwen rolled her eyes as if she wasn't surprised by his answer, "I am not staying here."

Chris chuckled as if he was waiting for someone to respond to him like that, "Sorry, but your contract says you can't quit the game. You can only be eliminated via being voted out, medevacked, or disqualified. Furthermore-"

"Okay, okay, fine." Gwen admitted defeat and decided to go along with Chris's game. "I guess I'm stuck here and I might as well deal with it."

Watching Gwen walk away upset made the host satisfied as he saw the sixteenth boat arriving at the island, dropping off two female campers. While one appeared to be smiling and checking out the competitors, the other was glaring at them like they were her enemies. The former made sure to dress and look nice, knowing that first impressions were important as she wore a button up blouse with a skirt and heels. As for the latter, she had raven hair and wore revealing clothes: a crop top and short shorts.

"Heather." Chris greeted her before turning to the other lady. "Elizabeth. Welcome to your new home, ladies!"

"Ugh, you call this a home?" Heather gestured to the area around her. "I expected to see a fancy hotel, not this! I'm calling my parents. You'll be sorry for lying to me."

As Heather pulled out her cellphone and attempted to call her parents, Chris began laughing and said, "Nice try, Heather. But there's no signal here."

"You cannot be serious," Heather crossed her arms and scowled at him.

Chris shrugged, "We're on an island that's far from the mainland. It's obvious you won't get any service."

"I am not staying at this dump! This isn't over. You'll pay for fucking with the wrong person." Heather pointed at Chris before pointing at the other campers. "And as for the rest of you, none of you mean anything to me."

"If it makes you feel any better, I think you mean something to me," Cody attempted to cheer her up while flirting at the same time.

But Heather could tell he was trying to flirt with her, so she gagged at the thought of dating someone like him, "Don't even think about it, geek."

Chris smirked at how Heather was treating everyone, "She's gonna be fun for television. I can't wait for her to bring in the ratings."

"Heh. Sorry you had to deal with her, Chris," a female voice spoke, causing him to turn around and be face-to-face with the other female arrival. "If it makes you feel better, I'm excited to be at this place."

"Thank you, Elizabeth. I-" Chris looked appreciative of Elizabeth's comment, but before he could continue...

"I must say, you look much more handsome in person," Elizabeth continued, interrupting him in the process. "Not that you're not handsome on TV, but it feels really cool to meet my favorite celebrity."

"Thanks!" Chris didn't look uncomfortable at all; if anything, he seemed to be enjoying getting his self-esteem boosted by her. "I'm always appreciative of my fans, including yourself. Now head on over to the others, I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms."

As Elizabeth waved him goodbye, despite the host being a few feet away from her, she ended up receiving a snarky comment from Heather, "Kissing up to the host? Hmph. Typical of someone like you to do that."

But Elizabeth had some backbone to her as she scowled at her in return, "It's called being nice, Heather. You should give it a try if you don't want your life to be miserable."

When Elizabeth turned around, Heather smirked as if she had something planned. For now, it would be best for her to not argue further with the girl, despite it being so satisfying to do so. Perhaps this wouldn't be as bad as she expected.

With four boats left, the next one came in with two more females. Both of them were Asian, but that didn't mean they looked the same. The first girl had glasses and was wearing a shirt with a picture of some anime character that almost nobody knows about. Add some sweatpants that had different Japanese writing, or Kanji to be more specific, all over and you have yourself a girl who's most likely a fan of anime. As for the other girl, she was wearing a white kimono and a halo headband with wooden sandals. Not so much of an anime fan, but definitely someone who is of Japanese descent.

"Arigato gozaimasu!" the girl with the anime shirt greeted in Japanese, lifting her hand as a gesture of saying hello to him.

"Ah! Candace! Ari-gallow go-" Chris was struggling to speak a simple Japanese phrase before giving up entirely. "Whatever the heck you just said!"

"Domo!" Candace said with a bright smile.

"Ah… okay," Chris still didn't understand, but he pretended to do so. "So let me guess. You're an uber Japanese fan who thinks they're Japanese because they watch too much anime and practically learned the language through watching it. In other words, you're a weeaboo. Right?"

What Chris didn't expect was a big hard slap across the face as he held it in pain, "OW!"

"That was very rude!" Candace scolded him while pouting. "I'm not a weeb! I'm just a big anime fan with a hundred collections of anime figurines and maybe one, two, or five body pillows of very sexy anime men. And I can speak proper Japanese! I just don't want to right now."

"Well, whatever you like, I can say that you have a powerful slap. Youch." Chris remarked as she walked by him, still upset. He glanced at the female in a kimono. "And you must be Amethyst."

"The gods do not appreciate your comments toward the Japanese," Amethyst said while clasping her hands together. "For they are quite legendary when it comes to honor and respect. The gods respect the Japanese and the Japanese respect the gods. You should learn to respect them too."

Chris didn't have much to say since he honestly didn't really care about what Amethyst just said, "...You religious?"

"Just a devout believer of Kitsunism," Amethyst gave a small smile to him.

Now Chris was confused, "...Kitsunism?"

"It's a blend of many religions," Amethyst explained. "But ultimately, I believe in the King of all Gods. The Great Kitsune. The ruler of all the gods in the world."

At this point, Chris just found her weird and didn't want to continue the conversation, "...Okay. So why don't you take your interesting beliefs over towards the end of the dock?"

"If that shall win favor over the gods, then I shall do that," Amethyst hummed before meditating, followed by moving towards the end of the dock while still meditating to her gods.

Chris shook his head in disbelief, "...Yeesh. Now we're starting to get into insane territory."

The eighteenth boat dropped off a male and female, one looking rather normal and the other giving off mysterious vibes like Gold. To describe the normal-looking person, he had neat black hair, carried what seems to be a guitar on his back, and wore a green shirt with a hand insignia. As for the mysterious female, she had long orange hair sticking out from her hoodie, which the hood appeared to be over her head at the moment. She was wearing a blue mask around her mouth and leather gloves bikers would normally wear, not to mention black shades. A very interesting combination of clothing and accessories to say the least.

The male was the first one to get off the boat as Chris greeted and introduced him, "Our next camper is Trent!"

Trent gave him a fist-bump, "Hey, good to meet you, man. I saw you on that figure skating show. Nice work."

"Thanks, dude. I knew I rocked that show!" Chris said before looking at his guitar. "So, brought your guitar along?"

"Yeah, you did say this was going to be a talent contest," Trent reminded him before looking confused. "Or did I misread something on the application?"

Chris shrugged, "You might've. You might've not."

Still confused because of Chris's vague answer, Trent decided not to question him any further, "Okay then… also, you might wanna take care of that girl on the boat."

Chris looked confused for a moment, "What girl? Don't you mean…" he turned and saw the female arrival still standing on the boat. "Oh. Katherine. Hey, it's your turn to be introduced."

But Katherine only continued to stare at the host, not saying a word. She tilted her head a little bit, just to prove she was real. Even then, this made Chris feel uncomfortable. The only thing he could see was her hair and a bit of her face. That's it.

"Uh… hello? Katherine? It's your turn, brah." Chris was tapping his foot repeatedly, getting annoyed and impatient. "We don't have all day, y'know."

However, Katherine only continued to stare at him, still not saying a single word. After what appeared to be a long while, she finally hopped onto the dock, much to the relief of the host.

"Finally." Chris sighed in relief before smiling at her. "Now then-"

Before he could even complete his introduction, Katherine just walked past Chris without saying anything, no surprise. This only annoyed him again.

Chris sighed, "Great, I thought we wouldn't have to deal with another person like Samantha. But I guess that won't be the case."

While it was clear the cast was going to have its fair share of weird people, he hoped that the next boat would have two normal and chill people. The two - wait, only one person, male, appeared to be on the boat. He looked like a stereotypical punk, having a green mohawk and a shirt with a skull design on it. With a serious and rather intimidating look, he hopped onto the dock and immediately walked up to Chris, not happy at all.

But Chris wasn't fazed or intimidated at all, only giving him a smirk, "Duncan."

Duncan looked around and sniffed the air, "...I don't like surprises."

Chris's smirk never left as if he expected him to say something like that, "Yeah, your parole officer warned me about that, so… he told me to give him a call should anything happen."

That's why Chris didn't feel threatened by him, if he wanted to, he could get Duncan sent back to juvie in one phone - wait a minute, wasn't there no signal on the island, according to his interaction with Heather? It seemed a bit odd that -

Duncan knew he couldn't win this battle against him, so he just smirked and shrugged, "Alright."

Chris tapped his chin upon noticing something, "Hm. By the way, wasn't there another guy on the boat with you?"

"You're talking about the loser with the headphones?" Duncan confirmed, pointing at the boat behind him. "Yeah, he's on there. Doesn't look like he's going to move anytime soon."

"What? You're kidding," Chris made a whistling sound and called for someone. "Ohhh Jenkins!"

And out of nowhere, a giant butler appeared right next to him.

"Please get contestant number 38 out here right this instant," Chris crossed his arms, looking rather impatient.

Jenkins nodded, "Yes, Mr. McLean."

"Still makes me feel old, but whatever," Chris remarked, recalling his conversation with Tom from earlier.

Jenkins went off onto the boat and shortly after, came back with the other male arrival on his shoulders before dropping him on the ground. He headed off to do his own stuff while the male stood up with a frown. To describe him, he has messy brown hair and was wearing clothes that looked like they haven't been washed for a few days. To put it simply, he was not physically attractive.

"And now we have Nathan!" Chris greeted. "So glad of you to join us!"

Nathan sighed, "...Kill me."

"Sorry, Nathan, but documents, legal papers, and the law says that I cannot do that," Chris stated, even though Nathan wasn't serious about it. "So, better luck with someone else."

Nathan scoffed and walked off, "Whatever."

But as he got to the others, he stopped and raised an eyebrow, "...What are you guys looking at?"

Duncan chuckled, "Man. Didn't realize I get to start out my time on this island with a punching bag. Alright." But just as he said this, Amanda's ruler came smacking down on his head. "Ow! What the-"

Amanda frowned, "I will not condone any bullying here."

Duncan held his hands up as if he was defending himself, "I was just joking."

"Eh. Didn't seem like you were," Trent said, joining the conversation.

Lurene looked serious and concerned, "Was he joking?"

"Nope. I doubt it," Gwen added, still a bit upset from what happened with Chris from earlier.

"Joking or not, I don't care," Nathan deadpanned without a care in the world. "Just do it to me anyway, so I can at least get ready for what Hell is going to be like once I get there."

"Um… are you okay?" Gwen asked, now a little bit concerned about him.

"Never been better," Nathan lied as he put on a set of headphones and decided to mind his own business, not wanting anyone to bother him.

Duncan gestured to him as if he was proven correct, "See? Punching bag?" He got whacked on the head again. "Ow! Come on!"

There it was, the twentieth and final boat to arrive at the island. It dropped off the last male and female contestant, both of them appearing to be positive about competing, though one was more excited than the other. The male was wearing a cowboy hat and a pink button-up that exposed his bare chest, looking very stoked to get this show on the road. As for the female, she had short brown hair and was wearing clothes that best suited a prep, observing the other competitors and waving at them.

"And here comes our final two campers! Courtney and Geoff!" Geoff gestured for Courtney to go first as Chris helped her get off the boat.

"Thank you," Courtney smiled at the guys for being polite before looking at the other campers. "Hello, everyone, you must be my competitors. It's nice to meet you all."

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well," Tom walked up to her and held his hand out. "My name is Tom."

Courtney shook his hand, "Thank you. I'm glad we have some polite and respectful people. Good luck to you all and may the best person win."

Gwen kept a deadpan look before speaking to herself, "Yeah… I'll give it a few days before she shows her true colors."

After Courtney's introduction was over, Geoff came up to Chris, energetic as expected, "Chris McLean! Dude! It's such an honor to meet you, man! Me and Courtney were just talking about how awesome you are!"

Chris gave him a high-five, "Thanks, man. We could always use a fun and cool guy like you on the show."

"Well I did compliment you, but not in the way-" Courtney spoke up, only to be interrupted by...

"Alright!" Geoff spoke up loudly. "We got ourselves a large crowd! I'm holding a big party for all of you! It's gonna be so awesome! I even brought my speaker with me!"

"Woohoo! I love parties!" Owen cheered, still enthusiastic as usual.

"Nice, dude!" Duncan gave the man in a cowboy hat a high-five. "We got ourselves some hot chicks here as well! Including this one over here."

Seeing Duncan smirked at him, Courtney frowned, "I would appreciate it if you didn't give me any inappropriate nicknames like 'hot chick'."

"There's no need to be so uptight, princess," Duncan widened his smirk.

"Do not call me princess," Courtney said in a stern tone.

"Okay!" Chris hopped into the conversation. "As much as I'm loving this tension right now, I'll need everyone to head to the other end of the dock! We need a group photo for the promos and marketing team!"

The forty contestants headed to the other end of the dock where Chris was standing while the host hopped onto the Boat of Losers. With a camera in hand and aiming it at the campers, he prepared to snap a very memorable picture of all forty contestants, most of them posing and smiling for the camera.

"Alright, everyone, one… two…" Chris began counting down before checking his camera and scratching his head. "Wait. Hold on. I forgot. I need to reinstall some film into this camera. Give me a moment. This won't take long."

After reinstalling some film into his camera, he smiled and aimed it at the campers once more, "Let's try this again. One… two…" Chris checked his camera and groaned. "Seriously? The lenses are closed. Give me another moment. This won't take long."

"Come on, now, my face is starting to freeze!" Leshawna was getting impatient, and no one could really blame her. Technology should be easy to handle.

"Okay, now we should be ready to go!" Chris grinned as he aimed his camera for a third time. "Now! Everyone say, 'Wawanakwa'!"

"Wawanakwa!" Almost all of the contestants shouted as the camera went off. But as soon as Chris snapped the picture, the dock broke through because holding 41 people was going to have an effect sooner than later. And thus, all 40 of the campers fell deep into the water as some struggled to swim, some latched onto the wooden planks, and some managed to stay afloat as they glared at the host.

"Alright, campers," Chris chuckled. "Dry off and meet by the campfire in ten minutes."

When the campers got dried up, they found themselves meeting at the Campfire Pit, which was where the elimination ceremony would take place. The trees that surrounded it were beginning to degrade, as if no one had been on the island in a long time. Since there were only ten stumps, most people had to stand up while listening to Chris.

"Welcome to Total Drama Island," Chris grinned. "More specifically, Wawanakwa Island. An island deep within Muskoka, Ontario… or somewhere. It will become your home, for the next sixteen weeks! Or more... The campers sitting around you will be your cabin-mates, your competition, and maybe even your friends… Or maybe even relationships. Who knows?"

The campers all looked at one another. Slight distrust began to envelope the environment around them. Slight insecure feelings began erupting in some of the cast members. And even some smiles were given from one man to another man. One woman to another woman. Needless flirting from one pervert to one uninterested gal.

"Now here's how this works. Everyday or so, a person will be voted off the island and thus, are out of the competition. But the person to stay on Total Drama Island without getting voted off will win..." Chris grinned. "One million dollars!"

"If I may ask, what will our sleeping accommodations be like?" Angel glanced at Chris with a soft look on her face.

"Us girls won't be sleeping with boys, will we?" Amanda added, narrowing her eyes. Her hands were on her hip, as if she were one of those stern teachers that loved to pick on the naughty and disruptive kids.

"Only if you both consent to it maybe," Chris smirked. There was an obvious sexual intent behind those words. Then, he shrugged. "But other than that, boys sleep on one side and girls sleep on the other- Ow! What the-"

Chris was smacked on the head by Amanda's ruler. He winced and rubbed his head.

"I won't tolerate any tomfoolery like that," Amanda spoke, seriously.

"I have to bunk with Sadie, or else, I'll die," Katie told Chris with a nervous look, holding Sadie's hand rather tightly.

"And I'll break out in hives!" Sadie added. "It's true!"

"Well. Either case. Here's how this is going to work," Chris rubbed his head and gave Amanda a dirty look. "I'll divide you up into 4 teams. If I call your name out loud, please stand over to the left of that strange suspicious gray tree over there."

"Wait," Nathan noted. "This seems almost… familiar."

The strange suspicious gray tree was a strange suspicious gray tree. It was a tree unlike any other. It was so gray. So strange. And so suspicious. The description of such a tree was probably just a fluff copied and pasted by the original author out of sheer laziness.

Nathan had seen what I wrote and hissed to himself, "Goddammit….. Not this again."

"Beth, Bridgette, Cody, DJ, Ezekiel, Geoff, Heather, Lindsay, Preston and Samantha," Chris grinned, clapping his hands together. "You are hereby known as… the Screaming Gophers!"

"Woooo! Gnarly!" Geoff cheered loudly, perhaps annoying a certain raven-haired queen bee. "We're Gophers dudes! That's awesome! WHOO!"

"The next set of contestants," Chris grinned. "When I call your name, please stand over to the left of that strange, suspicious, green rock over there."

The strange suspicious green rock was a strange suspicious green rock. It was a rock unlike any other. It was so strange. So suspicious. And so green. The description of such a rock was probably just another fluff copied and pasted by the original author out of sheer laziness.

Nathan sighed.

"Duncan, Eva, Gold, Harold, Izzy, Katie, Katherine, Leshawna, Ryan, and Tyler," Chris had listed. "You are hereby known as the Killer Bass!"

"Killer?" Gold looked up, his creepy mask staring at Chris. "But it's not the way of a gentleman to kill…"

"It is the way of the Bass," Harold pointed out with a smile. "Did you know that bass actually kill up to-"

"Nobody cares Harold," Chris interrupted the uber nerd.

"Wait! What about-" Katie had realized something. Something she didn't like. And that something was currently being ignored...

"Moving on to the other set of contestants!" Chris grinned, ignoring Katie. "When I call your name, please stand over to the right of that strange, suspicious, grass pile over there."

The strange suspicious grass pile was a strange suspicious grass pile. It was a pile like most other. It was so strange. So suspicious. And so grassy. The description of such a grass pile, probably could've served a purpose to the story that came before this one but as for now, it will be a fluff to this chapter copied and pasted by the original author out of sheer laziness.

"Angel, Candace, Gwen, Jose, Justin, Lurene, Noah, Noel, Owen and Sadie," Chris listed off. "You are going to be the Sinister Snakes!"

"But Katie's a Bass!" Sadie gasped, looking shocked at the outcome. "I have to be a Bass!"

Sadie pounded her foot on the ground as if she was whining for candy. It was enough of an action to make Lurene walk over to her with a sweet calming smile on her face.

"Sadie was it?" Lurene sweetly smiled toward her, before taking her hand and guiding her to the Snakes. "Come on. It's going to be alright."

"And the rest of you," Chris grinned. "Stand over by that normal, dark brown tree over there!"

The normal dark brown tree needs no description. It's just a normal, dark brown tree. Most likely, due to animation error, it would change colors several times because no one bothers to check when it comes to animation errors. So thus, fluff! Totally not copied and pasted!

"Amanda, Amethyst, Anna, Courtney, Elizabeth, Jerome, Nathan, Omar, Tom and Trent," Chris grinned, finally rounding up the remaining contestants. "You will be known as the Savage Bunnies!"

"Hm? But bunnies aren't savage," Tom crossed his arms, clearly not impressed.

"Depends on what kind of bunnies," Nathan merely stared at his gaming console, uncaring about the team he was placed into. "The ones from the cosplay conventions I go to are much more ferocious than the average bunny."

There was an awkward silence from his peers.

"Yeah," Nathan scoffed, eyes still directed toward his console. "I go to cosplay conventions. Don't you?"

"Alright campers, with that done, it's time to continue to explain what your life will consist of for the next sixteen or more weeks!" Chris grinned. "For starters, you and your team will be on camera in all public areas during the middle of this competition!"

Confessional: Oh heyo. Back, revamped and better than ever!

Chris: You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries, any time you want! Let the audience know what you are thinking and be sure to spill some very very juicy information.

Amanda: People say I'm often abusive or maybe even a little crazy, but that is an idea that is far from the truth. I just live in a home where aspiring teachers such as myself learn the more primitive ways of handling a stable classroom society. And punishment by ruler is one of the many curriculums I needed to learn. Which is very effective and I love it. (smiles at her ruler)

Amethyst: This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and frankly, I have only the gods to thank. Especially the Great Kitsune, the one who has been so generous as to give me a spot on this wonderful show. Perhaps if he's even more generous enough, I could most likely win the money and continue to support the gods. (she goes back to meditating)

Angel: So far, this place isn't that bad. Though my only concern is the mental health of everyone after this show is over. I've seen shows like this several times and many good people tend to be… corrupted the longer they stay. So it's my job to make sure that doesn't happen to any of the nice people here. After all, a mother hen must look after her chicks. (smiles innocently)

Anna: Total Drama Island. To be honest, while the money does sound like a nice prize, I'm only here for one thing, and that's to spread love into the world and bring out the romance. That's the one thing that has been lacking in most reality TV shows like these, so it's my duty to spread the message! (beams proudly)

Beth: Oh my gosh! Hi entire viewing world! My name is Beth and to be honest, I'm kind of nervous being on TV for the first time in my entire life. But hey! On the bright side! There's so many people I could be friends with! I even took the time to make friendship bracelets while we were waiting for everyone else to be introduced! (holds up friendship bracelets) See?

Bridgette: I made a fool of myself on the dock earlier and I really hope that doesn't happen again. I mean, it was really embarrassing but so far… it does seem like everyone else is pretty chill and cool. Who knows? Maybe I can even make a few friends here. And maybe if I'm lucky enough, they might know how to surf too. (she smiles)

Candace: Hai! This is all too exciting! I need to refresh my anime brain with proper animes so I can be prepared for whatever tropes I may encounter. Hmm… actually, now that I think about it… has there ever been a notable anime that took place in a camp? I have yet to find some. (looks at the camera) Local viewers! Please suggest some good ones to me!

Cody: Did you see the amount of hot ladies on this island? It's like an entire flock of them! Dude! This is awesome! Enough kitties for the Codemeister to court. Rawr. (It's an exceptional flirtatious purr) ...Okay. That actually sounded really really predatory. I'll avoid doing that from now on. But either case, you get what I mean. (winks at the camera)

Courtney: As a Counselor-In-Training, I hope to make my accomplishment in winning this game as a formidable achievement that I can use to help me get into a good school later on. Because as far as I can see, there are some rather formidable opponents, so obviously winning this game isn't going to be handed to me on a silver platter. It's all about the strategy and the right gameplay that's going to get me far for sure.

DJ: I'll admit. I'm a little disappointed that I'm at some summer camp rather than a five-star resort. But still, Mama always told me that life is going to be full of disappointments and that I should make the best of what I have. And that's exactly what I'm going to do. After all, this place shouldn't be that bad… Should it?

Duncan: Have to say, being in a summer camp is loads better than being in juvie. Lots of bombshells, enough trouble for me to cause, and even better, one million big ones waiting for me when I win. All in all, this is probably the best summer I'll ever get. (smirks and leans back)

Elizabeth: People back home tend to say that I would never get a boyfriend in a million years, so I decided to apply for this show just to prove everyone wrong! I will get a boyfriend and not just any boyfriend, but a boyfriend on national television! And then everyone back home will apologize and finally give me the respect I deserve!

Eva: Yeah, I'm the strongest person on this island. And the people here better remember it or else I'll wrangle their necks and hook them on tree branches… What? You don't believe me? Go ahead! Laugh! I dare you! (glares heatedly at the camera… Please don't laugh. For the sake of the camera)

Ezekiel: I don't know much about island life… but it should be pretty much the same back at home, right, eh? Maybe there are some moose I can hunt… or maybe even some stuff a man like myself can work with, eh. After all, that's what my dad told me to do as number one. Be a man.

Geoff: WOOHOO! A wicked island only means one thing! Bogus beach party yo! Woo! Yeah, I joined to have fun and organize like off-the-hook extreme parties, but I expected to do it at a five-star resort! Ha! An island really brings out the cultural fest! Gnarly! Woo!

Gold: As a gentleman, I have made a vow to make sure every lady here gets the respect they deserve. It's the code of the gentleman: "Thou shalt not make a lady cry. Thou shalt not physically abuse a lady. Thou shall give a lady thy boundaries"... I have the whole list beautifully memorized. (takes out a list that is very very very long)

Gwen: Okay. So first words huh? Yeah, I got words to say. Being here sucks. That's all.

Harold: I'm ready for this game. I joined Total Drama not just for the money but to also show off my mad skillz! In fact, you may see me now as some uber nerd with a high IQ of 157, but on the contrary, I can do many things, like for example (takes out some nunchucks) Nunchucks! Hu huwah! (spins them around before inadvertently hitting himself on the head)

Heather: At first I wasn't planning on socializing with anybody because let's face it, I am way better than any of these losers. But then, when Chris mentioned about this competition being an elimination game, that gave me an idea. (she smirks) Those losers might as well pack up their bags now because I'm going to dominate this game. This will be the easiest million dollars I'll ever make.

Izzy: Hey! Look what I can do with my eyelids! (flips her eyelids and pops out her eyes) Ooooooh! Look look! Bug eyes! Bug eyes! Ooooooooh!

Jerome: Leaving the gangster life is admittedly pretty tough. But doing it to be on an island and for a million big ones too? It's pretty worth it. Can't wait to see the look of the members' faces when I bring that million back to our cruddy lifestyle. We'd be living like kings heh heh.

Jose: Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Jose y estoy muy emocionado de estar en este programa! My English is not good, but I do my best to learn and talk to other people. That girl is very nice. (referring to Lurene) Ah! Canadá es un lugar tan hermoso! Espero poder ganar para mis amigos y familiares! Adiós a todos! (waves at the camera)

Justin: Let me just tell you this. I'm much more than a pretty face. I'm a pretty body *and* a pretty face. Along with my brain, this pretty guy is going all the way to the top… as long as my beauty doesn't get destroyed in the process.

Katherine: (she's crossing her arms, silent)

Katie: I'm… not on the same team as Sadie! Waaaaaaaaaah! (tears are running down her face)

Leshawna: Back at home, it's just me and my sisters. So coming to this show, I'll admit, makes me miss my sugar honeys. Hope y'all are doing fine! And don't worry about me girls. Leshawna dog gone gonna make you proud on live television! Mm-mm! (snaps her finger)

Lindsay: I don't get it. Where's the camera? (her back is completely turned from the camera)

Lurene: Can I just say that being here is actually really exciting! Like, there are no words that I can say to describe just how excited I am. I mean, I'm really here! On Total Drama! I hope I can have a fun time and make friends! But then again, doesn't everyone hope that?

Nathan: Truthfully, I don't give a rat's *ss what happens to me on this show. I only joined so I can at least have something to do with my life… Or at least, my mom thinks this will give me something to do with my life. But if this show is counting on me to actually work my butt off or something like that, count me out. I'd rather play the games I brought and be on the sidelines than have most of the cameras focus on me. (takes out a gaming console and begins to play)

Noah: From the looks of it, the only one with any brains around here is me, which I'm not surprised. After all, it's my big brain that's going to help me get far and that's pretty much all I'm going to rely on. As I said in my audition tape, I totally got this in the bag… but it really depends if the people I'm with aren't idiots. (crosses his arms)

Noel: I may be well-versed in business and running my father's company when he's not able to, but this time around, I wanted to try something different. This is a reality TV show that promises a test of strength, will, and mentality, three things I hope to have when I one day take over the family business. Thus, I don't care whether I win or lose. I only care if I can develop skills to help me in the future. That is my goal. And a Batsworth always achieves their goal.

Omar: A camera? On the toilet? Oh ho ho ho! As always! The spotlight is on me! The great Omar Tavares! The one-of-a-kind actor and a Prince of Tomfoolery! Thank you for the attention ladies and gentleman! Thank you! You're much too kind!

Owen: I have a few words to say. (farts and laughs) Hahaha! Okay but seriously, I'm super psyched to be on this show! Can't wait to meet new friends, play the game and better yet, eat the food! WOOOHOOO!

Preston: Yeah, I came on this show just to get away from home and actually win the money to support myself. That, and show off my cooking talent. But either case, I'm going to let you viewers know that I'm not going easy on these f*ckers! That's a goddamn promise!

Ryan: So far, everyone is very nice and I hope we can all get along!... And should there be any evildoers roaming around, then they'll get what's coming to them. I have a small feeling about that. (is giggling to himself as if he had just set up a prank)

Sadie: I'm... not on the same team as Katie! Waaaaaaaaah! (tears are running down her face)

Samantha: I'll admit… (has a soft voice) I'm not very good with people. They tend to get up into my business and I really don't like when people get up in my business. I was even flirted with on the dock. Can you believe that? Urgh. Why can't people just leave me alone?

Tom: This is an interesting predicament I have gotten myself into. I expected to be competing at a luxurious resort instead of a summer camp, but that is not a problem for me. Darwin's Theory can be best applied in this situation; in order to survive, you must be able to adapt. (he smiles) With my proficiency in academics, I am confident I will go far and win.

Trent: Alright. So I got on the show. That's pretty neat. (smiles as he lays back) Everyone seems pretty nice so far, but honestly, I'm hoping to make it big with my music. Pretty much the only reason why I came on TV, to showcase my musical talent. But who knows? Maybe I might strike it big with something else. (chuckles)

Tyler: Alright! Time for the EXTREME! Because I'm going all the way to the top with the fish on the dinner table! Yeah! WOO! (he accidentally punches the wall and holds his hand in pain)

"Alright!" Chris grinned. "Any questions? Cool! Then onwards! Let's find your cabins!"

Though some of the campers raised their hands, Chris ignored them as he led them to the area with the cabins.

This was going to be an interesting summer.

Author's Note - Surprise surprise! Guess who decided to join the team in crafting this story! It's me! GoldEmblem. The original creator of the concept who has decided to help my good friend Project recreate the story into something much more better than the mess it was originally! This is a collaboration between me and Project so if you're thinking about accusing Project of blatant copying, let this be known that it's not true.

After all, if I'm helping to write this stuff, it's no crime to copy what I've already written right? Either case, I'm definitely hoping this will turn into something great and of course, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter!

Plenty of chapters to come! But as for now...

Next time: The campers get settled in on their first day...
