Will knew Nico well enough to know that he rarely sang and/or hummed, and when he did it always corresponded with how he was feeling, so when he heard Nico humming "Go Your Own Way" he was naturally curious.
"Who do you love?" He asked
"What?" Nico jumped
"You are humming 'Go Your Own Way'."
"It's just a song."
"You only hum when you are feeling like that song" Will blushed, realizing that he had let on how much he noticed Nico.
"You noticed that?"
Will shrugged, trying to keep himself from blushing any more than he already was.
"Yes I did, who do you love? And why is it wrong?"
"It isn't wrong, it's just not right. Not ideal. As for who, Figure it out Solace" Nico said, and walked away
Will was getting a better idea of who Nico loved. Over the last two weeks, he had caught him humming "You Are my Sunshine", "Here Comes The Sun", "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" I've actually never heard of this song, but it seemed fitting and "Ring of Fire". The first three indicated an Apollo camper, and the last one showed that he still doesn't want to be loving them.
"Okay, I have a few questions about this person you love" Will said
"You're still on that?" Nico groaned "You can ask, but I can't guarantee I'll answer."
"Girl or Guy? Or Non-Binary person?"
"Guy."
"Hair color?"
"Blonde" Will's heart raced. There was only one other male Apollo camper in Nico's age range, and he wasn't a doctor.
"Is it me?"
"What? No. Don't be so full of yourself Solace. There are other blonde guys in the world." Nico sputtered out
"Not blonde Apollo campers in our age range who are doctors." Will grinned
"What makes you think it's an Apollo camper?" He crossed his arms
"The songs you hum. I pay attention, Sunshine."
"Okay, I'm just gonna go now." Nico started to walk away
