"So, are you hungry?" Elizabeth asks Loki. He gives a small nod. "If you want something you're going to have to talk to me." He glares at her and turns away. Elizabeth sighs, "If you're not going to talk to me then fine. I'll just be reading, tell me if you want anything."

She grabs her backpack and walks into Steve's room, sitting down at his desk to continue reading a book on Norse Mythology she had picked up. Kind of ironic, she thinks to herself, considering the situation at hand. After ten minutes, she hears the door slowly creak open, and turns around to see Loki standing in front of her. She raises an eyebrow and waits for him to speak.

"I... could I have some food?" he stammers.

She smiles, "Sure, what would you like?"

"A-anything with meat…?"

"Hmm… I'm sure Steve has something in here. Let me go check." She walks out of the room, and can hear him following behind her.

She walks into the kitchen and opens the fridge, pulling out a can of biscuits and some sausage patties. She puts them on the counter and shuts the fridge before pulling out a pan to cook the sausage. She places the biscuits on a cookie sheet and puts them in the oven. By the time the biscuits are done cooking, she already has the sausages cooked and laying out. She cuts a biscuit in half and places a sausage patty on it, closing it to create a sandwich. Then, she puts it on a plate and slides it over to Loki.

He eyes it and looks at her, questioning the safety of the sandwich. She gives him a nod, so he hesitantly picks it up and takes a bite. She chuckles as he quickly eats the rest of the sandwich. "You must have been really hungry."

He shrugs and begins putting together another sandwich. She watches him carefully as he eats two more sandwiches. When he's finally done, she puts the leftovers in the fridge and walks back to the living room. Loki follows behind her. She plops down on one of the couches, and Loki curls up on the other. She watches him as he lays there, not moving, staring at the floor. He looks around nervously, as if he's still scared something's going to attack him. She sighs and gets an idea. "Are you thirsty?" he shrugs. "I'm going to make you some hot chocolate, how about that?"

He narrows his eyes at her and observers her curiously, obviously never having heard of hot chocolate. "Stay there, I'm going to go make you some."

She gets up and heads into the kitchen, heating up some hot water and pouring in the mix. She gives it a quick stir before returning to the living room and handing him the cup. He takes it in his hands, but quickly places it down on the table, eyeing it with disgust. "Do you not like it? You haven't even tried it."

"I-I prefer cold things…"

"Oh, well… umm. Let me just…" She grabs it again and heads into the kitchen. She puts the mug aside and grabs out a glass cup. She gets a small bowl and pours in some chocolates before placing it in the microwave and heating it for a few seconds- melting the chocolate.

Then, she adds in some hot chocolate mix, sugar, and some milk. She takes a second to peer into the living room where Loki is sitting peacefully on the couch, eyeing the bookshelf across the room. She makes a mental note to ask him what kind of books he likes and stop by the library. She returns to the kitchen after the mixture has cooled a bit and dumps it in a blender, adding more milk and some ice.

She quickly places the lid on it and blends it for a few seconds, watching the mixture swirl around in the chamber and form a dark brown color. Then she turns it off, removes the lid, and pours it in a cup. Before returning to the kitchen with the drinks, she puts some whip cream on the top. She enters the room and holds the cup to him. He takes it gratefully, hugging the cold cup to his chest. She sits back down on the couch and watches as he slowly drinks the iced cocoa. When he finishes, he places it on the table and curls up on the couch, instantly falling asleep. She smiles to herself and grabs the cup, returning to the kitchen to silently wash the rest of the dishes. When she's done, she goes to Steve's room, returning to her book with the hot chocolate she had reheated shortly after washing the dishes.

After a while of reading, she puts the book away and takes a moment to check on Loki. He's still asleep on the couch, clutching a small pillow to his chest. She smiles and turns back to Steve's room when she hears a knock on the door. Startled, she quickly walks to the door and opens it, surprised to find the one and only: Tony Stark.
