Chapter 152 – Make your move.
Zeta's POV, An hour later.
"She's a fighter! Haha!" I couldn't do a fucking thing. These motherfuckers had me in the perfect spot and the last two hours have been nothing but them abusing me in this position as we approached the borders. Pinned to the seats by this fucking huge echidna with my hands tied and my mouth now gagged by a brown rag, I struggled to just breathe as his buddies had their hands all over my body. With one holding me by the throat I only gagged on my own spit as Ness who sat in the front shouted.
"Go easy Jon! Don't want her dead on the flight back!"
"Just keep the fucking truck on the road Ness! I'm not going to kill her! I just want to have some fun before she gets to spend her life in the hold!"
This was rape. The echidna had me pinned and his friend soon had his head between my legs. The other fuck in the corner just kept my legs steady and open as I was starting to cry. I couldn't do a fucking thing and they knew it. Where the fuck is Juper!? I asked myself as I felt the belt to my pants get undone. Looking up as much as I could, I kept my tears back as he reached for the rim to my pants.
Starting to pull them down, I did my best to struggle. But the echidna quickly put more force into my neck and I was left with almost no air. I was going to black out at this rate and right now I was actually hoping it would happen. I didn't want this to happen. Not like this. Not ever.
Barely able to look back to my legs, I only heard the sound of his zipper going down. Then I felt his hands go between my legs to urge.
"Hold still girl! This will feel good soon I promise! Hahah!"
With everything in my mind going dark, I wasn't aware of what happened next. But the second I opened my eyes again I saw the echidna look back as the guy who had his pants down was laying back first against the window with a bullet in his forehead. Then I heard an explosion and the echidna who was just as confused quickly released my neck allowing me to roll into the seat cushion and spit the gag out of my mouth.
With the truck screaming to a halt, I panicked as I was sent over under the seats.
"G.U.N!" I heard a familiar voice scream from outside the driver side window as Ness quickly grabbed a rifle and opened his door to order.
"Set up a perimeter! Secure the target!"
My whole body was unsure of what to do, but I knew I had to get out of these fucking cuffs. As I started to try to break free; I widened my eyes as I was grabbed by the back of the neck and thrown outside and onto the road.
"Stay down!" I was ordered as I saw the echidna on top of me taking aim. Looking up to try and get an idea what was happening, I widened my eyes when a smoke grenade landed right in front of my eyes. The echidna quickly pulled me back into the car door as the area was soon covered in nothing but gray smoke.
"Aghhk! Aghhkk!" All I could do was cough as the echidna had me pinned with his back.
"BANG! BANG! BANG!"
Not a moment after the echidna began to open fire through the smoke. Knowing he was distracted, I focused as best as I could and soon felt my venom flowing through my body. Using everything I had I snapped the cuffs and looked back to see the echidna still firing off no more then a foot away. At this exact moment I felt nothing but rage. A feral lust to kill. Raptor was right. I was out of control in this state, but this was different. This time I had a reason and this time I knew I would be hurting no one other then these disgusting motherfuckers who just nearly raped me like it was a sick game. Like I was some sort of prize. Feeling nothing but my eyes going hot; I lost it and just snapped.
"Aghhhhh!" Screaming to the top of my lungs as the venom had me fully induced, I lunged forward and locked eyes with the echidna who swung his rifle back at the sound of my feral blood lust to come. Unable to turn in full, I latched on to his body and sent my teeth right into the front of his throat. All I could taste was blood as I ripped through his pipes clean. Pinning him to the road in the middle of the smoke, I released my teeth and pulled back to spit what blood I had in my mouth right into his shocked face as he attempted to scream for help. With the wind unable to project into sound, I gave up on any last thought I had of playing nice and just bit down one more time. Wrapping my mouth around his neck; I used all my power to snap his neck in two. I felt his spine crack and knew he was dead the second his body jolted and instantly fell back down to not move.
Releasing his neck, I took a moment to contemplate what just happened. But all I felt was the power surging. I always wanted to eat a man. Always wanted to hurt someone like this. Doing what I just did made me feel happy and I felt my whole body go still when I heard from inside a separate smoke cloud to my right.
"Where are they!?"
Looking slowly towards the sound, I locked my eyes on a presence not more then maybe twenty meters away. I knew who it was and my body shifted and was ready to launch. But before I did I looked to the echidna's rifle which was on the ground next to me. The sad part was I instantly forgot about it the second I heard his voice again ask.
"Where are the commander's men!?"
Launching off my feet, I just ran forward as fast and as hard as I could into the sound. Coming in so fast, I latched right into the back of Ness who was just standing there in the smoke. Hearing a few more smokes popping off; I ignored everything going on around me as I tackled him into the concrete. From the force I hit him with, his rifle shot out of his arms and he fell face first into the road with me on top of him.
"What the fuck!? Who...!?" Trying to reach back for his sidearm, I snapped and lunged teeth first into his elbow.
"Aghhhh! Get off! You crazy bitch!" He ordered as he rolled over and began to punch me in the top of my head with his other fist.
I felt my skull cracking and releasing his elbow I lifted up my head and sent it right back down into his nose. His whole head snapped back into the pavement and I took my chance to reach into his vest for his knife. The kid was stunned and as I pulled out the blade; I reached for the hand that hit me and pinned it into the road sending the tip of the knife right into his palm.
"Agghhhhhhh!" He screamed as I felt the knife go deep. I had him stuck and I knew it. Looking back at me as the smoke we were in was clearing, his eyes widened up as I just smiled and lunged my teeth right back into his other arm. Unable to fight me the hedgehog could only scream as I felt my teeth hitting his elbow.
Everything in my head felt right as I bit down with every ounce of power I had in my jaw. The sounds of him screaming as I had no regrets.
Pierce's POV.
"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!"
Dropping one of the last troopers, I flicked my head around as I heard someone screaming not far away. With Dex at my back I shouted.
"Zeta!?"
I got no response as the smoke was clearing. Bodies were all along the road and beyond our truck was the fireball of the large tractor trailer Juper managed to catch with one of the mines he had preset. The men in there had burned up and some could still be heard screaming as I looked around for Zeta. She was in the truck behind us so she couldn't have gone far. I was hoping to god she wasn't shot during that mess. I don't know what to say to Raptor if she was dead after all this effort.
"Zeta!? Where are you!?" I asked as Rover came around the side of the first truck to start looking around the other side. Approaching his back we both rounded the corner to stop in our tracks at what we saw happening.
"AGHHHHHH!"
With our rifles raised we just stared as that fox Ness was laying there screaming. Zeta on top of him and her mouth holding his left elbow down as a knife was pinning his only other hand down into the road. Dex slowly walked up to widen his eyes as he just kept screaming. Then it happened.
"AGHHHHHHHH! SNAP!"
We all lowered our rifles as Zeta bit right through his whole arm. Pulling the half she ripped off and holding it in her mouth; I watched with absolute shock as she spit it to the side and began to laugh. With Ness about to pass out, we watched as she sent her teeth right into his neck. Using all she had she clamped down and I took a step back as she snapped his spine in two. Ness just died right there without another word as Zeta savored the moment, keeping her mouth tight around his broken neck as Juper and the others were soon seen coming out from both sides of the street. All rifles at the ready and soon looking to us as it was clear this was over. Juper and the rest of my men all soon noticed what was happening and stopped in their tracks to watch as Zeta slowly released her teeth from the man under her. Blood dripping out of her mouth as she held her feral look for us all to see. Her eyes just focused on the man under her as she could only be heard breathing heavily.
"Zeta?" I said in almost a whisper as I was unsure what happened just now. I never saw a person angry enough to do that to someone in battle. Never once has the thought crossed my mind that this could ever happen. But as I looked at the wolf, I saw her pants were halfway down between her legs and her shirt was ripped open exposing her black bra underneath. It was at that moment I knew what happened. Slowly approaching, I panicked when Zeta snapped her eyes right back at me to the sudden movement. Everyone went still as her eyes were pure red. I knew that look. I also knew she was user but I never would have guessed she was a perfect user up till now. But I knew she lost it. Perfect users were rare and ones that could control it were even rarer. Zeta must have been one of the few who couldn't control it. A drug that strong takes control if your not careful. Lowering my rifle slowly I said her name one more time.
"Zeta? It's okay. It's over now. Okay? It's me Pierce. Your safe."
Her eyes were something out of nightmares and the blood leaving her lips didn't help me feel any better as I waited for any sort of response.
No one else moved as I took another step closer. Zeta just stared at me and as I knelt down to reach for her; I saw tears rolling out of her eyes. Then slowly the red flickered away leaving her two gold orbs just staring at me. With my hand resting on her shoulder I said it again.
"Your safe now. Okay? It's over Zeta."
Her whole body began to tremble and without another word she shut her eyes and looked back at Ness who was clearly dead from her efforts. His arm gushing out blood onto the pavement as she looked at what she had done. Then she broke out into a strong scream.
"AGHHHHHHH! You...fuck! BASH!"
I panicked as she slammed her fist right into his face with all she had. Going for another, I jumped in and grabbed her under the arms bringing her back first into my chest. She didn't fight me and I now just sat here with her in my lap as she cried out in what I only could know as pure disgust for what I feared happened to her. I wasn't going to ask but I hope to god it didn't happen before we had the chance to act. But doing that meant something. Was she raped in that truck just now? With the wolf just letting me hold her, I looked over to Juper and ordered.
"Make sure we're clear and their all fucking dead! The rest of you get our extract ready! We are not staying here!"
"Aghhhh! Ahhhhh!" With Zeta starting to mix her cries with screams of sadness, I pulled her in close to urge.
"Calm down. It's finished Zeta. Just breathe."
Her whole body was nothing but jelly. She was letting this happen and I wasn't about to let her go now. She needed someone right now and with Raptor hopefully safe back in the city I had to be the one to take charge of this.
"It's okay." I whispered into her ear as she replied.
"Peirce they...! They tried to...!?"
"I know Zeta. I know. Just try to relax. Their dead."
With her just falling into a broken mess of tears, I kept her held tight and watched as my men along with Blitz began to clean up this fucking mess.
Raptor's POV.
Marcus and I left the bar and right now we were heading back to the capital. Almost back to familiar grounds, I widened my eyes when all the sudden he stopped to ask.
"You know what you just did right?"
With not a soul around I replied.
"What?"
"You sent Zeta away with those mercs. Did you ask who that Captain was?"
In confusion I replied.
"Should I have? His name was Ness."
Nodding Marcus turned around to face me to reply.
"Yeah well he just died. Along with the others he had with him."
Widening my eyes I questioned.
"What are you talking about?"
Focusing on me fully, Marcus replied.
"I'm the god of death for a reason Raptor. I know when anyone in this world dies. I know who and I know how. Consider it part of my job. Ness and his men just got killed not that long ago. Maybe five minutes."
"And Zeta? Pierce and the others?"
"Their safe. But I wouldn't be worried about that. That kid Ness? He was more then just some dumb punk Raptor." He stated as I got in close to question.
"What do you mean?"
Letting out a sigh he replied.
"He was the grandson to the guy who runs that PMC. Needless to say Raptor, I hope you know what your doing. Cause as you know very well; when he finds out his boy is dead he'll be after whoever was behind it. If I were you I would make absolutely sure when they get back you handle any loose ends. Otherwise you might have another war on your hands."
Everything went quiet after that last set of words. I just looked at the fox to reply.
"Let me worry about that. End of the day all that mattered was that her contract was closed. If that's the case then I'll gladly handle any backlash to come from it. But I had a plan for a reason. So long as Juper did it right; they won't know a fucking thing other then they got caught in the wrong place and at the wrong time."
Marcus just nodded and replied.
"I'm just warning you now. That's all."
"Thank you." I replied back as we began to resume our walk. With the capital soon in sight, I asked with a calm voice.
"How much longer you got left? You got to have something to do soon right?"
Approaching the gate, he replied while keeping close to my side.
"You really think my job is that hard don't you?"
I just smiled and chuckled as it was clear to me now he thought it wasn't. But how was I to know without asking? Soon reaching the gate, I was spotted by the guards and instantly they began to work on opening the doors. Calmly passing through, I said while letting Marcus step out in front.
"Thanks guys."
They each gave me their regards and with that Marcus and I began to walk around. His eyes were going from place to place. It was clear he was thinking about some stuff. I wonder what? Doing my best to remain at his side I asked.
"What you want to do? We have some time left."
With his eyes looking to the main building he replied.
"Plenty of things. But like you said, we have time. What do you want to do?"
Looking to the training grounds I replied honestly.
"I'm a little tense after all the drinks. How about we have a little fun?"
"Fun?" He questioned with a small smile as I nodded and replied.
"Yeah come with me. Let me show you around a little."
Marcus just agreed silently and began to follow as I guided us to the training grounds. On the field was a few people. Most of which I knew from before. Some vets just working out before bed and some just working on their fighting. I even noticed one of the cats from earlier. She was on the pull up bar as I took myself and Marcus center field. His eyes glanced from person to person as I wondered.
"Were you ever one into training?"
"Now or before I was who I am now?"
"Ether." I replied back as he took a moment to adjust his stance. After a second or two he replied.
"Only a little. I was never a jar head like you." Smiling I said back.
"Jar head? Ain't nothing wrong with wanting to keep your body strong. That goes beyond just soldiers."
Marcus just nodded as I looked back over at Vacus. She didn't seem to notice us. Marcus who was well aware of what I was looking at wondered.
"You got your eyes on her?"
Looking back to the fox I replied.
"Yeah, but not like the way you had your eyes on Jesse back at the bar. Just thinking is all."
Marcus got defensive immediately and replied.
"She looked familiar Raptor! That's all."
"Mhmm." I said back with a small smile as he got close to whisper.
"I'm a god. I can't afford to have any relationships like you do with your men."
"Men?" I questioned as he just went on to say.
"Or women. It's not my place. And it wouldn't work well at all."
"Sexually?" I asked as he widened his eyes. Marcus was stumped as I knew I hit a nail. Kinda curious I asked while leaning in closer to the god himself.
"When was the last time you...?" Instantly he replied.
"Never. I don't do that Raptor. You sick fuck."
"Sick? Oh come on. You really trying to tell me you've been around for a few hundred years and you never once...?"
"Never." He replied again as I sensed he was lying. Pushing further I questioned.
"Even when you were alive?"
Marcus gave me a huff and a puff and turned his gaze away as it was clear I was once again putting him in a weird conversation. One he probably has never had up till this point. As seconds passed, I grew curious of another question. Marcus sensed it and immediately he looked back at me with wide eyes to order.
"Don't."
I let out a chuckle as he again ordered.
"Don't Raptor."
Getting up close to the fox I asked.
"Are you a virgin Marcus?"
Instantly I felt him punch me square in the stomach. But the force at which he hit me with was not physical. It just felt like he got a ghost to punch me. I just kept my eyes locked on him as he watched me bend inward to hold onto my breath. After which he looked away again and just went back to looking grumpy. Catching back some control, I then asked while coming back up to standing straight.
"That actually hurt. You must be then. Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten all red right there. Hehe."
The fox just continued to look around in any direction that wasn't my own. Keeping the tone light I had to ask this last question.
"So am I sterile?" In confusion Marcus glanced back at me to reply.
"What? Sterile?"
Nodding as I rubbed my stomach where he hit me, I replied back.
"Yeah. Sterile. Like if I wanted to have another kid. Can I?"
Marcus had his eyes right on me as he held back the answer. He was shocked I was still pushing him for these weird answers. But I had to ask. Not like I was going to find out any time soon. Plus I was starting to get off on the idea of putting a person like him in the awkward situation of talking about things he wasn't clearly accustomed too. Hope was the more I push him to talk the easier it'll be in the future to have him open up. Right now I wasn't sure if it was working at all. But without another punch involved, he replied after some time.
"Yeah you could if you really wanted to trouble somebody crazy enough to let you try. Why are you asking me all this shit Raptor? You gonna go ask that cat over there to bend over for you? Actually don't answer at. The way things are going I'd be willing to bet half of these girls you have working for you probably would if you just asked nicely." His tone was one I use to get from Archer a long time ago. When I got promoted and he didn't. I knew it clear as day old beer so I had to ask.
"Jealous or something?"
Keeping his voice controlled Marcus replied.
"You are unbelievable."
"Haha I'll take that as a complement." I told him as I came to his side. Putting my head alongside his ear, I said with another whisper.
"You know you're not a bad looking dude yourself Mr. Chuckles. You know if you wanted, after this shit is over between Zeta and her sister; we can try and talk with that Jesse girl again for ya. You might not want a relationship, but that doesn't mean you can't try to have a good time once in your life."
Marcus very slowly gave me his left eye. Smiling towards him I added on.
"I mean she already had an interest. You saw how she was looking at you right?"
His stare was still dead on me as I put my arm around his back.
"A few nice exchanges and some drinks and I bet she'd be willing to show you a good time. Chicks like her are...adventurous enough."
"You think?" He then asked with a whisper of his own as I was certain now he was interested in what I was saying. Nodding my head I replied.
"Absolutely."
Marcus looked away very slowly this time as I pulled off to pat his side.
"Trust me a little. Might be fun."
"Hmmm." He replied as I looked back over to Lieutenant Vacus who was starting to struggle on her pull ups. Looking back to the fox next to me I wondered.
"How about this? I need some time to get some things off my chest before tomorrow. How about while I go handle that, you go do whatever the fuck it is you want? I know you well enough to know I can leave you alone."
"You serious?" He then asked to be sure as I nodded and replied.
"I'll only be a few minutes anyway. After I'm done I'll be heading back to my room while I wait on Zeta and the others to come back. Meet me there?"
Marcus who was keeping his best poker face on replied back.
"Sure. Meet you there then."
With my eyes going back to Vacus, I now focused on what I had left to do. Hopefully this would go well. And hopefully I wouldn't scare her off after all I did before.
