Chapter 3
After a few hours, Raelle and Scylla laid on her bed, their arms wrapped tightly around each other. The blanket covered both of their bodies as Raelle slowly ran her hand up and down Scylla's arm in small, smooth motions. They didn't dare speak to each other. The room had grown dark as the sun started sinking behind the trees outside. Raelle looked down at Scylla and their eyes met. Scylla reached her hand up and gently touched Raelle's cheek. She leaned down and met her lips to the blonde's in a soft, gentle kiss.
Raelle's hand snaked up Scylla's bare back to her neck as they shared the kiss turned passionate. After a few more intense seconds of swapping saliva, Raelle pulled back and whispered, "You should get going. Abigail and Tally will be back soon and we both know that they can unlock the door and come in."
Scylla groaned as she sat up, pulling the blanket partially up with her, covering her chest; but she nods, "I know…I'm just happy you forgive me."
Raelle followed her to a sitting position, the cool air hitting her back, causing her to shiver a little, "I never said I forgave you. What you did…Scyl, it's going to take more time for me to look past what you did." She stood off the bed, letting the blanket fall off of her. She grabbed her clothes and set Scylla's on the bed. She pulled on her pants and bra as Scylla got off the bed and started to do the same. She pulled on her shirt and slipped on her medal before continuing, "Look, I love you, that won't change. But I do need more time before I fully forgive you for everything."
Scylla pulled back on her clothes and buttoned up her top as she looked at Raelle. She nodded softly after they both were fully dressed now. She leaned over and kissed Raelle's cheek, "I know and if I could take back everything I did, I would."
Raelle looked up at Scylla and ran her hands through the brunette hair slowly, smoothing it out, "I know Scylla, I know." She took Scylla's hand and ran her other through her own blonde hair to smooth it out. They walked over to the door and opened it, just as Abigail was reaching for the door. Raelle's cheeks turned bright pink as she saw the matching smirks on Abigail and Tally's faces. She rolled her eyes, "I'm going to go walk Scylla to her dorm." She pulled Scylla out the door, not looking back.
Abigail called after them, "Don't have too much fun girls. Raelle, we still have training at 0500, don't be late."
Raelle turned and looked at her, "Oh, we already did that. I won't be long." She turned back around and they could hear Abigail and Tally laughing as they walked into the room, leaving the door open. Raelle looked over at Scylla and smiled softly. She knew that Abigail was going to have a cow about her leaving her bed in such a mess, but in that moment, she didn't care. They didn't have inspection tonight and she'd make it when she got back.
The two girls walked in silence all the way back to Scylla's dorm room. Raelle stopped outside and looked at Scylla, brushing the girl's brunette hair behind her ear as their eyes met. Scylla's hands went to Raelle's hips as they moved closer, their lips meeting for one final goodbye. Raelle pulled away after just a few minutes and smiled softly, "I would stay, but I don't think it'd be a good idea tonight."
Scylla didn't argue with that and just nodded, she opened the door and stepped in, turning to face Raelle. A small smile shown on her smooth features, "Goodnight Raelle. I will see you tomorrow…hopefully."
Raelle nodded softly, "Yeah, dinner with my sisters? It's not only me that has to forgive you, they do too. You hurt all of us when you lied." She reached out and took Scylla's hand, "Goodnight Scylla." She slowly turned and started back down the hall, letting out the breath that she was holding.
Scylla watched Raelle, until she had disappeared and slowly closed the door. She sighed softly as she leaned her forehead against the door, her eyes closing for a brief moment as tears slide down her cheeks. She wiped her eyes and pulled herself up. She got into her pajamas and climbed under her covers, staring at the dark ceiling, her mind only on Raelle as she let herself fall into a deep sleep, dreaming of the woman that she loved the most.
